The room was very clean, VERY large in comparison with other rooms in Europe we’ve stayed at. Breakfast was very nice - the cappuccinos were wonderful. But the best part of our day was dealing with the very friendly front desk lady. I’m sorry I didn’t get her name. She was very helpful and fun. Music downstairs at Follis was noticeable, but to us, certainly not a problem. Location on the boardwalk of a canal was very quaint and beautiful- especially the sunset! Loved the Domus Lina!

We stayed here the night before leaving Italy to be close to the FCO airport for a very early morning flight. Daniela was helpful and kept in touch via WhatsApp before our arrival. Our room was lovely with a spotless bathroom, and there were so many great restaurants to choose from for dinner. Only downside was the restaurant/club/disco next door, playing loud bumping house music with loud guests going until at least 1am - it might have been later, but I put in earplugs and finally fell asleep. It was a Tuesday night so I was surprised! Everything else was great. Daniela arranged for an early morning taxi to meet and transport us to FCO, unfortunately too early to sample breakfast! We would consider this area to stay for a few days during the summer ... it looks like a fun coastal town.

We stayed one night in advance of a morning flight at Rome Airport. The staff was very courteous and arranged 6 a.m. car service to the airport. The room was comfortable, clean and Domus Lina was walking distance close to multiple restaurant options.

The manager is so very kind! The room was LARGE and spotless, welcoming. Very nice bedding and comfy bed! There was music in the area, but it stopped altogether at midnight. I felt safe and comfy. We loved Domus Lina!! What was originally booked as just a place to spend the night before an early morning flight, turned into one of our favorite stays! The woman who checked us in was lovely and the process was quick and seamless. She made arrangements to have a taxi waiting for us at 5:30 am to catch our flight. The property is beautiful and homey. The location is fabulous! We walked along the water and had our pick of so many great restaurants with outdoor seating. I have already recommended staying here to friends who are traveling into Rome in the future!

The Domus Lina hotel was an outstanding value--the place was clean, conveniently located to the airport with a bus stop close by, had a number of restaurants right outside, and was a relatively easy commute to the main subway station to get to other cities (e.g., Rome). The hotel was located right on a river. The staff (a lady) was incredibly nice and helpful. She prepared a delicious European-style breakfast every day. Overall, would definitely recommend this place to others who are looking for a convenient and affordable stay near the airport and a commute to Rome.

Small hotel located near river in Fiumicino. Literally steps from many family restaurants and fishing boats on the river. Cabs Fumicino from airport are 20 euro. They pick up near hotel shut tails and are always available. Stay here the firs day of arrival or prior to departure…you won’t regret it.

The Lady at the desk always greeted us with a warm smile and even had a cab waiting for us the morning of our departure. Domus Lina is definitely older but quaint and has the best air conditioning of any place we stayed the entire trip. The 4 rating is because this is the only place during out 3 week stay in Greece/Italy that we felt like the locals did not want us there.

The only concern about the area is that there is no reliable public transportation around. You will need to have a car to get to and from if you want to get to Roma. A bit funky to get to. We came by taxi late at night, so had to pay a late check in fee, but it all worked fine. The room was nice, the A/C kept us cool although we were unable to adjust it. We stayed one night to catch an early morning flight at Fiumicino. It’s very close to the airport, so that was perfect. This is a jewel of a hotel, a really special place. It’s beautiful, clean, nice amenities, and very comfortable. I don’t smoke anymore, but if I did, I would have loved the little private balcony overlooking the area. Breakfast was perfect, and Daniela even came early so we could have coffee before our early flight. I highly recommend this lovely hotel.

Domus Lina is a hidden treasure. Absolutely perfect location, with incredible staff and very comfortable rooms with all the amenities. Very convenient: close to the airport (10 mins) and Ostia Antica, with so many restaurants to choose from right there. We parked at the EUR Magliana M (a 15 min drive) and took the Metro to see all the tourist spots in the city. Domus Lina is an excellent choice for the discerning traveller!

Using them generates a tremendous amount of plastic waste. Suggest use of large size containers for a more sustainable approach and probably save owner money too.

Domus Lina is a hidden jam. Located within a 10 minute Taxi drive to either the airport or the train station. It was convenient with great restaurants around it and we totally enjoyed our stay.

I wish we could've stayed another night because this was a really nice hotel. It was spotlessly clean and having a little balcony was a bonus. The staff was very helpful both when we were there and also ahead of time in arranging a taxi to bring us to the hotel from an hour away, then again in arranging a taxi for our trip to the airport in the morning. I would definitely consider staying here again the next time I come to Rome.
