The property was nice and the room was very nice. We had a large spa tub in our room which was nice. The only thing we didn't like was how far the hotel is from the city center and the port. I was 100 euros to get an uber to the city center. This was my mistake on research.Also it was very difficult in communicating because we didnt speak Italian.Again, no fault of the hotel staff because we were in Italy and it is expected that they speak their native language. Transportation was the main issue otherwise it was a wonderful stay very close to the airport

Decent hotel close to the airport that was fit for our purpose of catching an early morning flight. The staff were very helpful and friendly, and the airport shuttle was convenient. The pool was also nice. However, the facilities appeared to be quite dated and beat up. Our room was also pretty beat up, but the washroom and sheets were clean. The local area was not the greatest neighbourhood, but that is to be expected with an airport hotel. We were fine staying one night to be close to the airport for our flight, but I would not recommend a long term stay.

The airport shuttle (8EUR pp) was really useful as the taxi queue was crazy & Uber drivers kept cancelling. Decent gym facilities, didn’t get time to try the pool or breakfast (it finishes at 10am). Pillows could be improved. Overall, exactly what we needed - comfortable, low cost, overnight stop before heading into Rome.

I would write a more positive review except the reason we stayed here was that our flight was canceled. By the time I booked the property it was $700 a night which did not include breakfast or the hotel shuttle, which added another hundred dollars in total. I understand the reasoning of raising the price almost $350 more because it was one of the last rooms, but ii is so upsetting that after getting zinged by the airline, being overcharge for a regular small hotel room

The hotel is due for a renovation. The rooms are tired and worn. Bed was hard and old.
Some areas of the grounds are rough graded, need to watch your footing.
Pool is nice but afternoon shade is scarce.
Breakfast was very good. Staff was pleasant and professional.

This was a really good Best Western, close the airport and had a shuttle for our early morning flights. It was convenient and clean, we only spent one night there, and I would recommend it if you were flying out or Roma.

The evening staff was great when we checked in however the day staff the following morning were not very friendly at all and I found them rude.
The room was newer and clean. The shower worked well but the towel heat rack didn’t work at all, and a/c couldn’t cool the room down basically at all. Even if you set it lower the temp in the room never actually changed so it was warm all night.
They charge you to use the shuttle service and for two people it’s almost the same as taking a $25 taxi! They do offer a service to take you into Rome but that is more than a taxi would charge directly from the airport and considerably more than the cost of taking the Leonardo Express.
Basically anything else you would need will be an extra charge orher than a towel!

We stayed for 2 nights from May17-19. As all travelers have noted, the rooms are small, more the size of better motels. They are not sound-proofed. The staff is polite and efficient. We had an issue with a slow sink drain as soon as we checked in, & they sent someone right way to fix it. Tea/coffee in the room, the change linens and clean daily. They have an Eu8.00 shuttle to the airport, however the location is a 7 minute walk to the city bus to Rome Termini which goes via the airport, and runs with great reliability and frequency for Eu7.00 online, or Eu9.00 on-site. For an early morning (3am) departure to the airport, they arranged for the same paid shuttle for Eu30.00. A few cafes and stores on the way to bus station make it easy to get the necessities. Especially mentionable was the Friends Indispensa Bistrot just past the bus station for an amazing dinner. Everyone mentions the Concorde on-site, but we found one of the staff members rude, unwilling to offer vegetarian options, and had the audacity to bring us flat red wine when we asked for white, proceeding to fill one glass out of leftovers from two bottles, then when we complained, threw it out and served from a new bottle of white. We did not go back there during our stay. Overall, we did not think BW was worth the price they charge.

The lobby of my building which I swear the conference facilities are smelled like backed of sewer. The elevator and second floor lobby and hallways also smelled terrible. My room was small but clean and the bed was very comfortable. The restaurant is expensive and mediocre at best. The shuttle to the airport is a plus! The hotel is very noisy with planes and room noises. The neighborhood is sketchy

The hotel room we stayed in was very old and out dated. The beds were terrible. The twin beds seemed like rollaways with very thing mattresses and a bar in the middle of your back. There was also a huge window between the bathroom and the rest of the room. While there were shades, you could still see into the bathroom so there wasn’t a lot of privacy. The room didn’t seem well maintained. Also, someone started jackhammering outside our room before 8am. Not worth the price, IMO.

Nice pool with a bar and snack service in the late afternoon. Nice patio area between the main office and the restaurant with lots of seating options. Restaurant open 6am to 10am and 6pm to 1030pm. Pasta was exceptional. Grilled chicken appeared to be boiled first and then finished on the grill. A bit rubbery consistency. The room was ok. Bed was a 5 out of 10. Hard and a bit lumpy. €8 per person to utilize the shuttle. Proximity to the airport was our reason for booking as we had an early flight out. I'm guessing most of the guests staying there were of the same mindset. 6.5 out of 10 in my opinion.

If you are going to Rome and staying near the airport, go someplace else. The rooms are very dated. The beds are like trampolines so if you have any back issues, don’t plan on being able to walk after your first night. The shower was broken - only the hand held wand worked. The overhead shower head would not work. Also, this was the smallest shower of any in EU I have ever seen. Can’t really even call it a 1 person shower unless you are a 90lb very small person. WiFi did not work half of the time, not even just simple internet. Five minutes for a page to load. Forget streaming. Finally, do not plan on getting any sleep. The airplanes going overhead are your least concern. The walls are made of wet paper. You can hear everything in the other rooms.

I rarely post or respond to reviews but this one needs attention.
The hotel offers airport transfers otherwise we’d booked a different hotel. The staff were excellent, efficient and welcoming. The hotel needs a massive overhaul. The walls are paper thin. We could hear the snoring from the next room ALONG with smoking all night in a non smoking hotel. Yes they were smoking past 2am!!! The smoke carried into our room, I was unable to sleep as I’m very allergic to cigarette smoke. I opened the window hoping that would help but the smoke was incredibly strong it was like they were in my room.
The elevator is barely functioning and highly suspect for safety.
If none of this is a concern for you, then it’s a place to lay down on a very thin hard mattress.

We were pleasantly surprised by this property. It's clear they are updating the rooms, but our particular room was clean and new and very quiet. Our towel warmer wasn't working but I think that was because the electrician was still onsite hooking things up. We walked down to the wharf and had lunch on the beach, spent a few hours poolside and then had dinner in the hotel restaurant. The quality of the food at dinner was excellent, and the wait staff were attentive and kind. Cannot beat this location for a stay before flying out the next day. We would definitely stay here again.

We stayed one night at Best Western Hotel Rome Airport before our flight home and overall had a very good experience. The hotel was clean, comfortable, and the staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful throughout our stay.

The restaurant food at dinner was excellent, and breakfast was also very good. One thing to be aware of is that the restaurant only operates for breakfast and dinner, so there are no lunch options on-site and we had to walk elsewhere for lunch.

The only downside was that the rooms were not very soundproof, so hallway and neighboring room noise could be heard at times.

That said, for a convenient airport stay with welcoming staff and great food, we would happily stay again.

and from the Airport. Cost is $8 or $9 per person.
They should have a free service to and from the airport for the cost of the stay. No price list in room for what is in the refrigerator if you would like to buy, eat, or drink something. Extra tax charge to your stay for tourists. Room was clean bed is firm pillows are not soft. Small space glad it was only for one night. Staff was nice and helpful speak good English as well. Dinner was ok pasta was a little bland could use a little seasoning or sauce.
Tiramisu was the best part of my stay!!!
Did not eat breakfast.

The only thing would say is depending on the booking, they could have removed that side bed as it took away the space in the room for 2 of us

The hotel was nice, great location if you want to be close to the airport. The room was OK, the two small twin beds were terrible, the comforters felt like a 300 lb person slept in it. They look like hospital beds. The bathroom needs more maintenance and the jacuzzi you could tell was not well clean. But the staff was wonderful!

The quad room we booked for 3 adults was really a family room with a large queen (possibly a king, we were only there for 12 hours) and 2 pullout chairs that 2 of us slept on. Anyway, it worked okay for the few hours we had it. Also, there were only lights on the side of the room with the regular bed. It would have been helpful to have had lights on both sides.

The standing shower was a foot higher than the floor. There are no safety handles to assist in stepping down from the shower. The water pressure was so low you couldn't use the hand wand. Food in the restaurant on the property was good. Airport pick up and drop off was good which comes with a fee.
