This hotel is perfect for a weekend at the beach but not the most convenient for trips into Rome. This is not a fault of the hotel, but my own problem as I should have researched it better. They do have a shuttle to the airport which is 5.3km away. 25 euro for 2 people to the airport. That was good compared to a taxi or Uber which both were over 35 euro when we needed it. Otherwise a very nice hotel and friendly staff.

Extremely Disappointing Stay – False Advertising a
As someone traveling to Italy for the first time, I was excited to finally unwind and enjoy what was promised to be a comfortable and relaxing hotel experience. Unfortunately, this hotel completely derailed my first night with what I can only describe as blatant false advertising and a complete lack of accountability.
I specifically booked this hotel because the listing clearly advertised the availability of a hot tub — something I was genuinely looking forward to after a long and tiring travel day. Upon checking in, however, I was placed in a standard room that was nowhere near what had been promised. There was no hot tub, no view, and a bed significantly smaller than what was shown or described online. The room felt basic and uninspired — a complete bait-and-switch.
To make matters worse, the language barrier made it nearly impossible to voice my concerns. I got the distinct impression that the staff were fully aware of how difficult it would be for a non-Italian speaker to lodge a complaint or demand a resolution — and they seemed to take advantage of that fact. I felt completely dismissed and helpless.
My first night in Italy — a moment I had been looking forward to for months — was utterly ruined by this experience. If you’re considering staying here, do yourself a favor and look elsewhere. For the price, you’d be better off staying at the airport hotel. At least there, you know exactly what you’re getting.

appreciated the airport pickup when we flew in late. The hotel is nothing special, but it gets the job done for needing a hotel near the airport. Would recommend as an inexpensive option for travelers out of Rome airport.

We booked 2 rooms through Hotels.com. The hotel reached out via text earlier in the day of arrival and asked when we would arrive. I gave them our ETA which they replied \"perfect\". About an hour prior to arrival, I got a long VM in rapid Italian about some issues with one of the rooms not being available. When we arrived, they escorted us down the block to a \"Rooms for Rent\" bldg of a friend's property that was nowhere as nice as the Porto di Claudio. It was clean, but more of a hostel set up. We were in a hurry to get to a cousin for dinner and didn't think much about this. Imagine our surprise when we went to pay the next morning and charged us the same price for the \"hostel\" room (which online was priced more than a 1/3 less) than as they did for their own, much nicer room in their own property. My daughter and her husband said their room in the Porto Claudio was nice, but noisy.

They did not have a room available for us, though we booked many months ago, apparently because the top 2 floor had a problem (if I understood that correctly). So instead they put us in a room down the street, not part of the hotel, that was nothing like what we had booked - no balcony (no daylight at all), no bar, etc. A depressing room. They discounted the price only after we made a big fuss. The point is, had they notified us of the problem, we would have cancelled and booked something nicer for our last night in Italia. However, the young man who attended to us on check in and again on check out was very polite and professional.

they offered a shuttle service for a fee that was appreciated. It's conveniently close to the airport and offer a good breakfast with lots of dinning options. However as the rooms are not well insulated and some travelers arrive late or leave early, we did not get a good night sleep. maybe request a room on higher floors would help?

Good hotel for one night near the airport. There is shuttle service but coming in one day we were charged £25 both ways but on our next stay 10 days later it was £9.00 each way so I was a bit disappointed as to the overcharge on one stay. Good breakfast. Walls are thin but a good place to lay your head for a night. Lots of places for dinner a short walk down by the water.

Expect to get a room that is as described and pictured on Hotels.com which was not the case. In the pictures and description it said that all rooms have a balcony. The room had no balcony and a very small window the size of a prison cell. This was clearly a room much cheaper then what we paid for. The front desk clerk we could go elsewhere if we were not happy. As I stated earlier everything was wonderful. The hotel was clean, breakfast was very good and the shuttle service was great. They stored our luggage at checkout for 3 hours while we waited to go to the airport. Staff were friendly and helpful. We would stay there again.

We booked this room with the specific intent to use the soaking tub on the balcony after a long flight. At first they put us into the wrong room, and we had to show the booking to get moved to the correct room. Upon being moved to the correct room, the soaking tub was filthy and there was an additional charge of 40 euros to actually use it. The glass door to the balcony was also broken (a hinge had broken) an extremely disappointing hotel with a very expensive price tag. Not worth it at all.

SCARE AT UNKNOWN STREET
Our flight was late. We arrived at the hotel 2 hours later than our schedule. Was 0:15am. Front door close/locked. We called to a phone property number and some answer telling us wait 10’ and and he will be there.
We got frustrated at the street in an unknown neighborhood. Tarek arrives in 10’ as he said to me and was very nice and cooperative! We just sleep, In the morning they offerer a transportation to Fiumicino at friendly rate. Room ok if you stay 1-2 night.

So this is an odd choice of property. We chose it because of its proximity to the airport for our final night in Italy. The neighborhood is not very flashy - to say the very least - but the location is convenient, We had rented a car for a week and needed to return it to the airport, so this made sense. For our final dinner we walked to the nearby Il Moro Ristorante di Pesce right on the water. There is no real beach in the neighborhood - it is a working marina. Il Moro has an amazing view and a fantastic kitchen. It has been around since 1950 and has earned the right to be there. The food was fabulous as was the view.

We got to the hotel to check in and no one was there. There were people hanging out outside the hotel on the street, that left me feeling very uncomfortable. Rang the bell next to the gate, no answer. Luckily the taxi driver waited and was able to call. He said he’d be there in 2 minutes. 10 minutes later we called again. The guy showed up 20 minutes later and told me Expedia canceled my reservation, which was not true. Next morning arranged airport transportation at 4:45am. Again, front desk person was no where to be found. Rang the hand bell, pressed the bell for over 10 minutes. I then went behind the counter and peeped in a door that had a key in it. Front desk guy was in the back ASLEEP!! I yelled, excuse me, we have a shuttle to the airport 15 minutes ago. Again, he came up with some kind of excuse. I have NEVER experienced that type of customer service at a hotel EVER!!

I did not get the room that i booked, had to pay again after i had already paided through hotels.com app. The staff did not speak ANY English, was charged double for the shuttle service. The air conditioning only works for an hour at a time. (have to go to panel and reset every hour) 3 different staff were at front desk but every time i went to desk none were there. Pictures of the hotel are very misleading. No bar/lounge on property as advertised. One of the worst experiences I've had booking with hotels.com would not recommend this hotel to anyone, especially if you don't speak Italian.

After arrival we were told our 2 rooms didn't have electricity and so were placed in an adjacent building that was far less superior to what we paid for. There was no attempt to compensate. This was a bait and switch. Since we had a late check-in we believe our rightful rooms were given to someone else. Luckily we only stayed 1 night. Would never recommend.

This is a family run facility with spotless and spacious rooms. We made arrangements to be picked up at the airport and for transportation to the airport when we left (note-the shuttle costs 15 Euros). The staff was very nice and we enjoyed our brief stay. we enjoyed the availability of several restaurants nearby. We would use it again if flying in or out of Fiumicino.

We LOVED this place. We came here after a cruise to catch a next morning flight and it was a perfect choice. About a 10 minute shuttle to the airport and right in the center of Fiumicino. We borrowed their bikes and spent the afternoon at the beach and later walked the two blocks to the main street for a delightful dinner. It is also a block from a grocery store where we bought a little wine for sipping out on the deck while watching planes land. What a great way to end a vacation.

The location to the airport was good. Although the booking for this accommodation did not indicate a room access time( just departure time) we arrived a bit early but the staff were really good and gave us access as soon as the room had been cleaned which was very much appreciated as we we exhausted. staff were also very helpful as they booked transport for us when we needed. This establishment supplied a good breakfast BUT unlike other B&B we were not allowed to use the kitchen to make our own coffee/tea etc which would be ok if they supplied more than a small fridge in the room ie a kettle, cups etc.
