Great room service, a rarity in Rome. Place is not near much of course, more a convention centre, but it was inexpensive, quiet and had what we needed. Convenient shuttle to the city leaves you near Forum Boarium walk to most of the classical sites. Breakfast is massive - actually ordering one big breakfast for two is enough!

Our room was ready upon arrival, which we appreciated, but the mattress was in terrible condition and clearly sagging. The mattress was the worst I have seen traveling 1/10. We also received incorrect information about the executive lounge hours, never got the promised breakfast box, and found the room safe in need of repair—overall disappointing for a premium-priced stay.

They allow dogs which is great except for when they bark all the time. I worked and when I tried to get some sleep at 7:30am the dog in the room next door barked until 11 when I gave up and headed out to the area. Husband complained and security was called but the dog didn’t stop. They didn’t offer a room change until I went down.
Rooms are in need of updating. Wall paper peeling off the walls. Phones don’t work. 1 lamp didn’t work. Fridge was warm. Trash on the floor from previous guests. Bus terminal is close so that’s a plus. Also uber was easy to grab but due to the long distance to the city it could get expensive.

Check on line was over 100 students from a convention. Waited over 30 minutes. However Marriott was generous enough to upgrade our room to a suite. Marriott needs a dedicated Bonvoy counter at this large conference hotel.

Gold Member! Not What is expected from a Marriott

Thought this hotel was based in the city centre, booked it on the train from Milan and realised within two hours that it was not. Asked to cancel the reservation and to be refunded via Hotels.com who could not even get in contact with the hotel and I am a gold member with Marriott. Not what is expected from a Marriott.

The corridors looked like we were staying in Vegas. Glasses, trays, empty bottles strewn all over the place on the way to our room. Three days without removal. We went out at 7.15 a.m. and came back at 16.00 to find room still not cleaned or towels changed.
Breakfast was chaotic. One coffee machine to serve 150 + people. Food was buffet style and not very hot.
On the plus side, the bed was very comfortable. Would not stay again.was tempted to take photos, but why bother. The staff didn’t.

Brutal check in and poor Manager. It took 1 hour 20 minutes to check in and there with 18 people, multiple groups in front of me when I arrived.

Each customer took very long. The manager was avoidant instead of addressing the issue, helping out himself and this made many people in line upset.

After 45 minutes, a 15 person Chinese group entered with bags and a second staff person came out then in. This really upset people.

My advice to the property:
- Get travel times so you know when people will arrive
- If you screw up its good to apologize and explain, people started getting angry and yelling because it looked you were ignoring the problem.
- Please reconsider the manager here

The location is deceiving because when you hear the word Marriott Rome Park Hotel you assume that it is in the heart of Rome. It’s nearly one hour away from the centre city and it is not accessible at all. Sure you can pay for a taxi ride that would cost you close to 35 euros. You can also take the hotel shuttle bus for a return price of 18 euros but it operates very specific times and the drop off location is not very accessible. The other issue was our bathroom was dirty and when I addressed to the front desk and shared pictures the front desk staff were very passive and did not offer a new room or have housekeeping come and clean it. Instead I had to walk 17 minutes to a local grocery store and buying cleaning products to clean the room. How crazy is that. Do they have a nice outdoor pool yes. It has a resort feel but makes sense when the hotel is not in the heart of Rome. The onsite Resturant and the only one to dine at is over priced. Unless you walk offsite for 20 minutes and there is a local bakery and pizza Resturant where the locals eat. The only reason why this hotel has foot traffic is it appeals
To large organized tour groups and the local Italians whose the pool. Also we trust the Marriott brand but not for this property. You could not pay me to stay there.

This place was so bad, that it actually made me laugh.
Staff were very polite and helpful, but check-in took absolutely ages. Not their fault as they were clearly understaffed and dealing with a lot of other issues.
The rooms seem to have been styled in a “tower of terror” theme. Wallpaper peeling off the walls. Garish carpets. Dated bathrooms. The place hasn’t been touched or refurbed in years.
Don’t bother with the executive lounge. This is where I really started laughing. The chairs had no filling and the supports on them had buckled. You literally fell through them.
Stayed here to be close to the airport, but it’s not really all that convenient for there either. I’d recommend looking elsewhere

The hotel is beautiful and the food at the restaurant was delicious. Transportation to the airport was efficient and convenient. The only complaint I have is the ac was blowing out warm air and it was too hot in our room. The front desk said they can fix it remotely but it was still hot. Other than that, the pool was beautiful, clean and refreshing.

Terribly disappointed Check in process. Took over 30 minutes. Had to go inside and ask for help with luggage. Staff was standing inside doing nothing instead of being outside as taxi pulled up. Went poolside for drinks and snacks. Waited over 20 minutes for a beer and had to go to counter. They forgot!! Brought focaccia and did not bring chips to go with it.when I asked for the chips. Waiter said he had to check the menu to see if it was on there!!Went inside for dinner and asked for lemon with my water and never received them. Had to ask again. The gnocchi tasted like leftovers. Asked for HOT cappuccino. It was only warm and tasted terrible!!! The room was very nice. Having stayed there for the last10 years. I’m going somewhere else next year.

We stayed at the Rome Marriott Park Hotel for one night before our flight back to the U.S., choosing it mainly for its location, just a 15-minute drive to the airport. It was a practical choice to avoid the risk of traffic coming from central Rome, especially with an early flight.

The hotel is large but feels dated and in need of renovation. However, for a quick overnight stay, it was comfortable and met our needs. When we arrived, our room wasn’t ready, but the staff was very accommodating and gave us access to the executive lounge while we waited, which was a nice touch.

Once we checked in, the room was clean and the bathroom was surprisingly spacious, especially compared to other hotels we stayed in throughout our trip.

There’s also an on-site restaurant, which was convenient for dinner. After a long travel day, it was great to be able to enjoy a decent meal without having to leave the hotel.

The best part of the stay was definitely the breakfast buffet, a generous spread with a wide variety of hot and cold options, fresh fruit, pastries, and great coffee. It was easily the best breakfast we had during our time in Italy.

While the hotel could benefit from a refresh, it’s a solid choice for travelers looking for convenience, comfort, and easy airport access. Ideal for a short stay before flying out.

freezing cold french fries, tasteless gnocchi al ragu, our shower didn't drain and it took 2 hours for the technician to come. there is a serious lack of signage -- for example, no signs how to exit/enter the hotel to go to the pool; no signs about where the lobby bathroom is (it's in the basement). it's too bad that there's such little attention to detail, because the lobby has so much potential and the pool is really nice.

It is ideally located between the airport and centre, easy to access. The food is overpriced, although it is not bad, it is not cooked typically. Reception for check in/out was terrible, I had to queue for nearly an hour for both. Slowest check in ever experienced. In all if you can wait an hour to check in then I recommend it, if you are not the patient type then I would avoid.

Middle of no where except 10 minutes from FCO and taxi charged $60 euro (rip off). Shuttle the Marriott said they had from airport only runs at 6 am a major detail they didn’t make clear so wasted time waiting and calling hotel for shuttle upon mid day arrival only to get in the only taxi in front of me which was a van. Van charge significantly more than cars and I was not aware nor did they tell me this. Then eveyone and I mean eveyone begs you for cash and gets annoyed when you use cc. This is more about not having good info on Marriott website and taxi company but the hotel was ok. Pool not opened even though end of May so not much to do here. Best for layovers although they did have shuttle to Rome city center maybe 4 times a day. Just didn’t have time for that based on their schedule.

Marriott always a safe choice. The staff friendly and very attentive. The restaurant was good. Great if you want quiet time. However this location is far from downtown and it’s costly by taxi to get there 50 euro per day. Although there is a shuttle, it’s limited on available times and hard to get to the meeting point downtown. Recommend staying closer to downtown. Also the bathrooms have no shower curtain and the bathtubs are 2 feet off the ground making it unsafe . Accident in the bathroom seems inevitable.

The power in the property went out while we were getting ready, it was pitch black everywhere and these people were so unbothered. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel to my enemy. Huge waste of money!

The staff was courteous and friendly. Room was dated yet very clean. Huge Lobby, wonderful breakfast! Food was delicious and a lot of choices! Decor is dated but it is very high quality furniture in the rooms.. bathrooms are nice. Could use new sofas in the lobby to give it an updated appearance. Next to airport and since FCO is crazy busy with long check in lines you need to get there 3 hours ahead for international travel, this hotel was convenient.

This was by far the worst experience I’ve ever had with Marriott. The attendance and service at this Marriott with non-employed with 30 people in the line to check in five people at the desk, but only one person checking someone in the other people stand around just talking. I put in for early check-in and digging into my room until 3:30 PM. This is by far the worst experience I’ve had with Marriott. I hope it’s the last.

The Marriott was nicely located outside Rome city, close enough for a 20-40 drive into the city depending on where you were going. Property is clean, well maintained, safely perched on a hill. Dining area offered variety of meals and food. Staff was friendly and professional, very helpful with Rime trips, transportation, etc. They do offer a shuttle into and from Rome City Center. Dining wait staff very sweet, we felt very catered to and enjoyed our morning breakfasts with Antonio as our waiter/host. Only downfall, for some, not walkable area, but we highly recommend.

The hotel was in the middle of nowhere with no convenient transportation. In hotels.com, the hotel said it had airport transfer and it did not. I paid extra for the breakfast and 30 minutes later had food poisoning. My room was not ready so I sat on the public restroom floor and threw up, sweated profusely and had diarrhea. I told front desk and the woman didn’t even care. But she said my room was ready. It was pathetic.
