Stayed for a concert at nearby palazzo dello sport. Location was great. Easy access to city via metro. Few stops to colosseum etc. Most importantly the food in restaurant was amazing I had an evening meal which was some of the best food I’ve ever had. The breakfast was also delicious.

Beat place to stay in Rome

Convenient location -- quiet, green area, outside of touristy center, but convenient to get to all the attractions. Metro station 2 blicks from the hotel. Tasty breakfast with good variety of food. Comfortable beds. Just one little inconvenience for us -- no coffee maker in the room...but we asked for kettle (water boiler) and were able to enjoy cup of coffee on the room early morning before breakfast. And complimentary prosecco for my birthday!👍❤

This was my second stay at this hotel. The first time it was great, the second time... Not so. The AC didn't work and the room wasn't properly cleaned (lots of dust). So the quality is unequal.

But the wifi is fast, staff friendly, and breakfast great. Good value for money

Very good day 3 day trip to Hotel dei Congressi!

This was a business trip to a conference in an adjacent building and so was very convenient. However the district is very business like and not suitable for a vacation.
The accommodation was very good, clean and fresh - the breakfast was more than acceptable but not stunning. The links to the city via the metro were good with the stop less than five minutes away. Staff and especially concierge were excellent. Only complaint was that there were no tea/coffee facilities in the room. Other than that - a very good experience in a nice hotel.

Hotel dei Congressi.

The hotel is fine, although a room I stayed small one, people friendly, some restaurants in the vicinity. It's about 20 min from downtown by metro, the nearest M station is only a couple of minutes in walking distance from the hotel. I'm fully satisfied after staying in that hotel.

Small lobby, noisy as shut AC off in rooms.

AC was not producing cold air, the room temp was 26C, which is 79F. Upon questions it was said that management during this season saves power, so in October the fan is on, but the AC is off. After insisting that someone should come to the room, the technician opened the room's large glass windows for fresh air to cool the room. It brought some temp down, but the noise was unbearable, they finally turned AC on. This should have been done in the first place. Also last minute upon checkout they couldn't print the receipt as the computer they say should charge for additional tax, but was not doing it. So, after long wait they decided to hand write the additional tax that the computer was not charging and let me go to waiting taxi to catch the flight.

Great Location, Tired Hotel, Pathetic Breakfast

Great location right besides the new Rome Convention Center (the cloud), but the hotel is tired and dated, needs renovations. The breakfast is pathetic and the restaurant 2 stars at best. Not the friendliest staff in Rome. Would only stay here as a very last ditch because its close to the convention center and the surrounding area is adequate.

Stay in a family room for 4 pax. The room was small. From the evaluation plan, understand that the room was just a little bigger than it's normal room. Not enough space to house four beds.

The reception was poor. Waited 20 minutes to check in cause the front desk was talking to 2 other guest and can't be bother about others waiting.

The hotel was an excellent location for us to watch the European Dragon Boating Championships on the lake, which our son was competing in. The restaurant was very good (if a little expensive!). Be aware that if you want to eat out that all the local restaurants/cafe's are shut on a Sunday evening.

Well looked after hotel at reasonable cost

The staff were helpful and the room comfortable although not that large. The hotel was well looked after and there was free WiFi. Good selection at breakfast although the bacon and scrambled eggs were not kept hot. Nice restaurant with good value meals. Not the most attractive area of Rome with major building work taking place but convenient for Metro and buses.

Business hotel, quiet and classy

If you are after the sights of central Rome this hotel is not for you as it is located in the Southern business district of EUR. However, if you need to work in that area, as I did, it's prefect. Nice and quiet, and with a great breakfast. I am on my second visit in a year, and I would definitely recommend it, although there are no tea or coffee making facilities in the room (a reasonably-priced bar and a restaurant are on the ground floor).

Great hotel

The hotel is close to subway station and it takes about 25 minutes from Roma Termini using subway line. The staff was very friendly, the free breakfast was good. Like everyone metioned before, the wifi is bad in some rooms. Mine was bad. They installed router every 2 rooms at my floor to improve it, but it was not doing much. I had good connection on my last night, so I guess they finally changed something. Overall very good hotel.

Pleasant backwater hotel with excellent restaurant

But, it's actually an easily accessible backwater from central Rome. About 30 minutes walk and metro to the Colosseum for example. Would be little more to and from Termini main station.The walk to the hotel is about 10 minutes with a modest number of steps up from the metro. Being in a backwater makes the Congressi economical ... and quiet, unlike most central Rome hotels. I discovered the Congressi when visiting my company's office not far away, and returned for a cheap holiday mainly because I do very much like the restaurant, La Glorietta. Roman and other Italian staples done perfectly; a decently wide-ranging wine list, modestly priced enough to order a whole bottle even if one doesn't drink it all; attentive service; and a warm atmosphere. The EUR district is appealingly but not excessively run down, its triumphal architecture still handsome, yet with a domestic feel. And indeed, this dream suburb conceived by Mussolini has matured into an understandably quite popular place to live for middle income people. Feels very safe - all you see are ordinary local citizens going about their business. Rooms are fine, fairly modern, with small but well decorated bathrooms or shower rooms.

The hotel was fine, especially if one looks for accommodation int he EUR district - it is a bit far from central Rome where the main touristic attractions are. The reception and bar staff were really nice but the cleaner took away a complementary water and some toiletries I did not use the first night of my stay - I thought this was really weird!

This hotel is located in the EUR district of Rome, well outside the city, however, it is very very close (200m) to the blue metro line, which gets you downtown to all the sites in less than 15min for 1.50 euros. The hotel room is a bit smaller than others I've stayed in, in Rome, but clean and comfortable. Since this is in a business district, there isn't much to do around the hotel itself, and things close around business hours, but for the price and the quality of hotel, I would stay here again when traveling to Rome.

I enjoyed my stay at the dei congressi. The staff were super friendly and helpful. The suburban location was ideal for me, the nearby subway was a smooth 10 minutes into the centre of Rome. Also, couldn't have asked for a more comfortable room, really calm, easy on the eye and I thought the bed was almost as comfortable as my own. I think the cleaners did a fantastic job aswell. Oh, and the shower was nice.

Convenient hotel to town and airport

We stayed here two nights before flying back to the US. The hotel is easy to find. We were able to park in front and not pay for garage parking. Our room was clean, comfortable, and air-conditioned. The area is quiet and we slept very well (not like in some other busy parts of town where you hear traffic constantly). The breakfast was a good continental breakfast. The hotel is a short walk to the metro which has stops close to all the main visitor attractions. The walk from the metro stop late at night is a different story. The area is very quiet and there is no pedestrian and little car traffic at night, so I would not recommend coming back late at night with the metro if you are not traveling with a group (I would recommend taking a taxi back from town). The last night we ate at the hotel restaurant for convenience and it was great (many selections and great food at a reasonable price). We had an easy drive to the airport our last morning and this was the main reason we had picked this hotel.

Convenient Hotel in the heart of Rome EUR district

Generally a decent hotel but nothing to write home about. Rooms were small and unlike the chains, a single room means a small single bed. Restaurant was average which is sad for the fact that we are talking of Rome, Italy. I have seen better breakfast buffets in smaller hotels.The over all effort was lacking in all probability due to the fact that they are located in a very strategic location, 2 minutes walk from the subway and right in front of a mega new congress center.

May 2012 in EUR Roma

Hotel was good for folk visiting the EUR district on business. It was convenient for the Metro for partners who wished to sightsee whilst accompanying main visitor. Area very short of suitable restaurants etc. so mostly had to travel down town in the evenings. Hotel staff were helpful and servicing of room was good.

Far from everything, but near the subway

When I booked, I knew that I would be far from all the touristic attractions, but as it was a last minute booking and I did not want to spend too much with an hotel in downtown, I got this one, near the subway. The hotel is good, but the regions is not much... But for the price, this was good, the room is big (at least mine, that was the biggest of the floor), clean, with good beds and shower. The restaurant is expensive and not good, I recommend going outside to have dinner.

Value to price ratio is good, this is an elegant hotel, facing the future Palais des Congressi. Looks like a space ship in construction. Breakfast was good, reasonable choice. The rooms were good if somewhat small. The main downside was the wifi, which was very slow. Popular with traveling business men/women

EUR has one of Rome's best history museums [Civilta] including room size model of ancient rome. Also the 30's architecture style is striking [with Foro Italo, best examples of fascist era].
Hotel is short walk from subway line B. Residential /business neighborhood. Staff was very helpful; problem with first room led to immediate switch to another. Good breakfast buffet.
Shuttle service to airport was excellent [E 35].
Recommended for non-whirlwind tour visitors.

Pratique propre ma rien à faire dans le quartier

Le personnel est vraiment sympathique et efficace !
Le petit déjeuner bon mais les boissons pas du tout. Les boissons fruits beaucoup trop sucré. Il vaut mieux prendre le café au bar que à la machine du petit déjeuner.
La chambre très pratique mais les coussins trop dur. Par contre très chaud dans la chambre la Clim était bloqué à 25 degrés.
Nous avons entendu les voisins en plein jour durant leur moments d’intimité….. donc l’isolation est à revoir. Heureusement qu’il n’y avait pas ma fille de 5 ans à ce moment là !
Par contre vraiment rien à faire dans le quartier ni autour.

La struttura è molto carina, ordinata e pulita.
La colazione è ricca, sia di dolce che salata, veramente ottimo servizio.
La camera era semplice, pulita, ben attrezzata e molto silenziosa la notte.

Albergo posizionato benissimo per passeggiare di sera in tranquillità. Personale adeguato a un quattro stelle. Colazione con prodotti di qualità e un attendo controllo del personale a rifornire continuamente il buffet.
Un po’ retro’ l’arredamento della camera che nel complesso è pulita, carina e adeguata alle 4 stelle. Bollitore a richiesta.

Worn out hotel close to conference center

Hotel brands itself 4 star business conference hotel, but lacks to deliver in either of its promises.

Hotel room is ok in size, but lacks many must-have amenities of a business hotel. Worst example is iron and ironing board, which are promised in the hotel amenities list, but which they only have 10 for >100 room hotel. Asked multiple times for iron, which they could not deliver. Receptionist's guidance was to give bad feedback in hotels.com, google etc. so that they could possibly get more of them.

Breakfast has solid service, but besides cake-table, all other items are not in abundance.

Room was really worn out, wall had a fist sized hole in it, bathroom was really old.

On the plus side, rooms were quiet and the short distance to the exhibition center was great.

Conosco l’hotel e ci vado spesso era la prima volta post covid, e mi è sembrato tutto gestito molto bene. C’è stato solo un disguido che nonostante avessi appeso il non disturbate le donne ai piani intorno alle 10 sono entrate in camera nonostante il check out fosse previsto per le 12. Niente di grave ma una disattenzione in un hotel così non dovrebbe accadere.
