My family of five stayed in two rooms at this hotel in May 2026. In the United States, we typically stay at midscale hotel brands, so the price of this hotel fit comfortably within our budget for Italy. Convenient access to rail transportation was a major factor in our hotel selection, and this property is within walking distance of the Marconi station, making it easy to get around Rome. The hotel was clean, quiet, and felt safe throughout our stay. The furnishings and décor were modern, stylish, and well-coordinated, creating a pleasant atmosphere. One small detail I particularly enjoyed was the EDM music playing in the lobby, which made waiting for my family of teenage girls to get ready for our daily adventures a little more enjoyable. Overall, we had a very positive experience and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. If I return to Rome in the future, I would definitely consider staying at this hotel again.

The room we had was spacious for Europe standard with semi modern facilities and a balcony. We didn’t use it because it was for smokers which was disappointing because I thought it’s a non smoking rooms on that floor. itThankfully the room was nicely scented when the air conditioner was turned on.
We liked the decor in the reception and dining. The ambiance in the dining room was nice. Service by Ambra was excellent. She made us feel welcome and the meals were delicious. The staff at reception are helpful and friendly.
Hotel Pulitzer is very close to Marconi Station less than 10 min walk with luggage and a few stops from Termini Station which made it convenient to move around Rome.

We stayed at this hotel for seven nights and we loved it. The staff was friendly. The rooms were clean. Overall, place highly recommended hotel. It’s located right in the heart of Roma. Getting around you need a taxi. Taxis are easily accessible. The hotel and staff were AMAZING 🙌 Thank you for making our stay first visit to Roma memorable 💙

The website was misleading. The condition of the room wasn’t great. We were on the ground floor and there was a sewage smell in our bathroom. The toilet also ran constantly throughout the night. Lots of noise from the road across from the hotel. The bed was comfortable and it was close to the subway.

The staff were very helpful. The rooms are clean, well-attended, and quiet enough. The first morning we came in, I had to do some work down in the social area. Over night staff brought me an espresso and it was fantastic and well-timed.
The breakfast is one of the best spreads I've sampled at a hotel.
Pulitzer is a gem.

Excellent hotel.

Visited Rome for the first time with my wife and two sons and stayed in this hotel for four nights.
There is a bus stop outside the front door of the hotel and a metro station approximately 5 minutes walk away making the whole city accessible.
The hotel was clean. The food choices for dinner were varied and all very good.
All staff especially the bar lady were very friendly and helpful.

The hotel was really nice! It was clean and modern looking and the employees there were really friendly. One complaint is that from the pictures and stuff I thought the hot tub was free and open to all guests, but it's actually behind a locked door and only available if you pay for it by reserving specific times. Also the area around the hotel wasn't that nice, but it was great to be able to walk to the subway.

There was plenty of parking around the hotel. Across the street. We parked in the median a few steps from the door and the side street next to the hotel also had a lot of parking. If you plan to park your car there you will probably find a spot close by, but it might be a timing thing as well.

The room is nice and clean. I feel very comfortable. I like that the hotel is within walking distance to Marconi Train Station. Easy to commute to the central station, Termini. There are convenient stores near next door to the hotel. Also a bus stop just right outside. Overall experience is nice.

The room and the bathroom are very spacious, however, the furniture was white and it was stained. Also, there is only a single lock on the entrance door so we felt unsafe. Staff was very nice and polite, we tried to do an early check in but it was not possible, however they took our luggage to a locker until we came back. Overall if you are looking for a cheap stay away from the hubbub of central Rome this is a great place, super close to the metro and bus stop.

Everything was great!! All the hotel staff were so helpful in all our requirements! Breakfast was excellent with different variety of choices, continental breakfast, pancakes, good cappuccino, very good croissants, different juices and fresh fruits. Place is accessible for bus rides to Transtevere and to the city central.

This hotel was very clean and nice. Staff was very nice as well. My family sorted thur the filters to make sure we had a hotel with A/C however they control whether or not we can turn on the unit. I dont appreciate that at all. If we are paying for a room we should have the option of turning it on if we need it regardless of the weather outside. Thats my only beef with my stay.

Decent Stay with Great Transport Links

Pulitzer is an average but functional hotel. The rooms are clean but a bit dated, and the amenities are basic. Service was polite but not exceptional. We were quite disappointed about the lack of empathy shown by the hotel for our situation. We were unfortunately affected by the Heathrow shutdown and asked if the hotel could waive the first nights charge as we wouldn’t make until the next day and all we got was “no, it’s strict hotel policy for no refunds” — we won’t be coming back in a rush.

The biggest plus is its location—well-connected to public transport, making it easy to get around. If you need a convenient, no-frills stay, it does the job, but don’t expect anything special.

For such a nice hotel the only thing I would recommend is the staff perhaps be more welcoming. Even in a mid range hotel in Marrakech we received a warmer welcome with the staff asking if we would like help with selecting sites to see and just being more forthcoming.

The hotel offered a very good (many options) buffet breakfast in a comfortable dining room. Our check-in was very pleasant and maid service was attentive. The Metro stop is close by (though it was dirty outside the station and nearby)so it was easy to get into the heart of Rome.

The staff/employees are wonderful, very helpful and responsive.

The rooms are clean, however the room we had needs an upgrade in the bathroom (Shower) and a \"paint job\" on the walls.

Our room was on the ground floor, next to the restaurant/kitchen, therefore noisy.

The location is roughly 15m-20m by taxi from City Center/Historical Rome.

This hotel is a standard 3.5 star.

We couldn’t fault our trip. Our room was quiet and the bed was super comfortable. The concierge was always happy to help and provided us with tourist map of Rome so it was easy to navigate. 4 min walk to the metro with trains every 10 min. 5 stops from Coliseum. Fantastic

Hotel was well located within a 5 minute or less walk to Marconi Metro station which got us into main attractions of Rome in 15 to 30 minutes depending on the attraction. Nice to have a mini market pretty much next door to buy sodas, chips, beer and other goodies.
Did not like that did not see any eating places close by but did not matter because we ate close to the attractions we visited.

The hotel and the room exceeded our expectations. We booked a room for three, and it has two proper beds (one king, one double) and plenty of space for all of us.

The staff was friendly and helpful, and being just three minutes walk from the metro station, it's easy to get into the heart of Rome.

We arrived at the hotel early and were very grateful to the hotel for letting us check in as soon as a room available.
The hotel is modern and convenient, with the subway station just a few minutes away. There is also fresh juice and coffee latte that I love for breakfast.

Nice and clean hotel. Large room for 4 persons (not wide choices in Rome), which is located on garden level. Overall is quiet during the day, but can hear water dripping sound in every early morning, which could be restroom facility or other restroom on top of the room. Close to metro, and one bus stop is just front of hotel entrance. Not many restaurants nearby. Hotel has breakfast buffet service (for a reasonable fee) which has great choices of food.

I like cooler temperatures and my aaroom was relatively warm making extremely uncomfortable. When i address this with staff, i was informed that at this time of year the air conditioning is turned off, taking the capability of the guest to control their own comfort.

The property is nice and convenient if you want to stay outside the city but not too far out. The check in and out was smooth.
It was a nice place to stay for an early exit to the airport in the AM.
Downside, hookers on the corner at night, it was quite surprising when you walk out the front door and a block away, they are hanging on the corner. Makes you feel a little unsafe as there are some unsavory characters floating around.

We were so happy to arrive at this beautiful and welcoming hotel after a two week road trip. The reception was friendly and welcoming. They got us to our rooms quickly and efficiently.
The hotel was modern with such an Italian style. The rooms were big and well appointed with lots of pillows, bath accessories and even a cozy pair of slippers.
We enjoyed the bar, and even had a delightful dinner at the hotel. All of the staff was friendly and spoke English.
They also arranged an outstanding shuttle service to pick us up at our car rental return, and then to the airport.
We all enjoyed our stay at Hotel Pulitzer, our only regret being that we were not staying there longer.
