No closet, mini fridge doesn't hold 3 20oz bottles, no microwave, not even free coffee ($4.00 per cup) and the ice machine is at the front desk. But they do have a resort fee and a $75 deposit on top of the reservation price. Never again!

We enjoyed our stay at the radio hotel. We requested an upgrade from the room and the lovely front desk attendant was very helpful in getting us into a suite and a very short time. She addressed me by name each time she saw me downstairs, love the courteous service and amenities will certainly stay again.

No hot water the entire 4 days I was there, water was luke warm at sink and shower. Shower door wasn’t sealed tight so water leaked out on floor. Pillows on bed where so soft to the point when you layed on them they went completely flat. Bedding had 4 sheets on it no blanket at all. And they charge a $20+tax amenity fee for WiFi, gym and 2 free drinks (sangria or premixed margaritas) even if you don’t use any you still get charged which I think is a rip off. The WiFi and gym should come with hotel for the price they charge for staying. I would have loved to have said something better about hotel cause I was really excited to stay looking at the photos but the overall experience made me decide to never stay again nor recommend this location to anyone. Take away automatic amenity fee if service not used, get better bedding and get hot water then you may actually then be a great hotel

There’s a great vibe here—easy going and comfort with style. The staff was friendly and helpful, even over the phone. Coffee and snacks at $3-4 each made the mornings great. NYC tourists are near a 1 train at 181st to head straight downtown with the bonus of but a diverse neighborhood and nearby parks and waterfront. A king suite was a perfect fit for a family of three with older child, plus had a stellar uptown view.

I got a room with 2 beds, which I definitely recommend getting even if it’s just 2 travelers, so you can have a bigger room. The hotel was great and clean and price was super reasonable with a GREAT view!! If I’m ever back in New York I’ll definitely stay here again.

The stay was great, staff were helpful, hotel was clean, the restaurant was amazing. We even got a free upgrade upon arrival on the 11th floor. The only thing I didn't like was how hard the mattress was. Subway station is close by and the hotel will store your luggage for you before or after checkout if you want to continue exploring the city.

The only complaint I have is that the water temperate didn’t start or stay hot like in a normal hotel. Other than that it was 5/5 and would def stay again!

Price was right. Room had some problems - lamps and believe or not the Radio weren't working. They offered to send someone up, but we declined, preferring to go to sleep that night. Staff was good, bed and TV good. The bathroom could have used at least a little bit of counter space - essentially, there was none. The place is clean and fine for an overnight stay in NYC if you don't mind being on the northern tip of Manhattan. Great access to GW Bridge.

I’m honestly tempted to gatekeep this place because it’s such a gem. I was pleasantly surprised by how much I enjoyed my stay. The room was clean, spacious by NYC standards, and had a nice mid-to-modern vibe.

The staff was great — attentive, kind, and fast. I requested room service and it happened quickly, and when I realized I was missing something from the room, they brought it right up with no issues.

The on-property restaurant was amazing (truly delicious), and the front-of-house team was warm and on point the whole time.

Overall, I don’t have a single complaint. they are doing an incredible job with customer service. Kudos to the entire team.

The rooms were very clean.They give you vouchers for a free drink at the bar or bottled water/gatorade, etc, which was nice. The neighborhood is bustling and only got a little loud outside on Saturday night but nothing a noise maker couldn’t drown out. It’s 2 blocks from 181st subway and is surrounded by great bakeries.

The beds are comfortable and the room was OK overall but a few wider issues. The $20 daily amenity fee is a con - it includes WiFi (which I don’t expect to pay for in 2025) gym access (ditto) and a limited (and very poor quality) range of cocktails at the hotel bar. Staff at reception were mixed - the guy who checked us in was arrogant and condescending, the lady at check out was very pleasant. It’s not awful but if you’re staying here because it looks good value, give it a second thought.

The only positive about this place is its location, being close to the MTA station.

Key Observations:
1. Cleanliness: Acceptable but not impressive could be better.
2. Amenities: No in-room coffee machine; instead, they provide a voucher which must be redeemed at the reception, leading to long lines in the morning.
3. Area: The surrounding area isn’t very clean or appealing.
4. Parking: Very expensive, though that might be typical for New York.

Summary:
Overall, the value for money is poor. Given the price they charge, the property and facilities don’t justify the cost, aside from the convenient location.

I lived in Washington Heights for 20 years, I was excited to stay in a hotel near my old neighborhood. The room was like a prison cell, the restaurant was SO loud, the breakfast was non existent. The surrounding neighborhood was so limited with everything and at night I would never be outside alone. I would never stay there again.

Room was clean and good for a night stay. Bed was not the most comfortable but acceptable. This hotel is on a very business street and intersection so better to stay in a higher floor. Defective light switch, refrigerator light. Water leaked out of the shower and into the entry way of the room. Staff was pleasant and helpful.
