The room was great, and the staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The location was perfect, as it was a short walk to the Piramide Metro station, as well as two train stations, and multiple bus stops. It seems All Roads Lead to this hotel! Plenty of dining close by, and many tourist spots are an easy walk. Unfortunately, the rooftop bar appears to be closed, but it was still a nice spot to sit and read in the evening. We would definitely stay here again.

We booked this property to just stay overnight for our flight from Rome to US the next day, and we had to check out around 6:30am. Since we only had less than 12 hour stay in this property, we decided we will look for a local restaurant to eat and maybe let my two boys use the gym before we go to bed. This property is in a bit rough neighborhood compared to where we stayed in downtown Rome, and there isn't much to do around here, What we did not realize was the hotel charges 10 Euros per person to use the gym although it was just a small tiny room with just one treadmill and a few weights, which I did not think was worth the extra cost. Since this property is kind of far from the main attractions, far from the public transportation, etc, the lack of amenity of this hotel would not want me to come back to this hotel again.

Fabulous well equipped very clean suite with wraparound balcony area giving great views over Rome. Helpful friendly staff. Many of the main tourist attractions are within easy walking distance. Close to mainline and Metro stations. This was our second visit to the Gasometer Suites and we will definitely stay there again on our next visit to Rome.

The location is excellent—just a 10-minute walk from the metro and surrounded by plenty of food options. The only downside was the shower design: the glass allows visibility from the adjacent room. Very nice hotel the room was large and clean. It's a little far from down town you will need a taxi or maybe subway I rented a car. The only thing is they charged us city taxes and they charged for my 6 years old son since he was not on the reservation I think $40 per day on top of what we paid hotels.com it was not a big deal.

This is a true Roman neighbourhood, a bit away from the tourists. The metro is less than 15 minutes walk with colosseo only 2 stops away.

Testaccio market is less than 15 minutes walk for good food. There are also supermarkets nearby and other dining options.

The apartment is well designed and kitchen is well equipped for cooking.

Modern apartment style rooms with a very big bath & shower. No view but does have a balcony (surrounded by tall walls). Good walkavle distance (35 mins) from colosseum and other main attractions of Rome. We didn't have a suitcase so just walked from Roma Termini to the hotel, checked in & roamed Rome.

Overall, very good experience & the staff were very nice. Pizzaria ostiense & the gelato place next door is a must try as well for guests staying at Gasometer Urban Hotels

The hotel was nice, quiet and clean. We were not aware that we had to pay extra for the kitchen which was locked away. We had use of a microwave but it would have been more useful to have use of a fridge like many other hotels. No utensils or cutlery even to help stir coffee either - even though coffee, tea and sugar are provided. The bathroom door is just glass and doesn’t offer enough privacy which was disappointing and made it a bit awkward at times… And the staff member who checked us in was very nice and kind. But the gentleman who checked us out could not have been less helpful and made us feel silly for bothering him by asking for advice to get to the airport. That was bad service and not a good representation for your hotel.

My whole family was blown away by the size and awesomeness of the apartment we rented! The inside is beautifully decorated - very modern and warm at the same time - and super functional. Air conditioning works really well (a must in the August heat!), and we had great restaurant recommendations from the staff. We will definitely stay here again when we return to Rome!

Good thing: room and facility and up to date and modern. AC working well and a nice quiet rooftop. Great people in front desk (Thank you Sara) . Amazing gelato shop and restaurants in the neighborhood. Good Taxi service to airport.
Things I was concerned about : the cleaning team had to clean the room after I found weird un hygiene thing in the room. They offered to change the room too. If it’s a hot day the walk to Metro could feel long.
Except for one cleanliness issue I would stay there again.

The rooms we had were full apartments, with a living room/full kitchen area, separate bedroom, a huge wraparound balcony and even a washer/dryer. Would be especially great for a longer stay. You’re not in the city center but Testsaccio and it’s great food are nearby, as is the Pyramide metro stop.

The hotel was AMAZING! The staff was friendly, they catered to our every need, they provided taxi service when asked, they filled our fridge with water, our in room coffee bar with coffee, tea, etc…, and they helped with watching our bags. Honestly it was the greatest service I have ever had at a hotel. The rooms were VERY CLEAN, the towels were small, medium, and extra large (which was perfect for me). The washer and dryer was usable at $4EU per load in each and they provided softener/detergent. Very child friendly with sound proof rooms. The sheets were soft. I have stayed in a lot of hotels in the US and I can tell you this hotel beats all others. The area looks a little rough but it’s not. The train tracks were right there but it was near silent. I will go back there. I suggest you book it. It was close to good restaurants, Burger King, grocery stores and right downstairs/next door was the greatest cafe! Close enough to walk to almost anywhere, take a lime scooter, or taxi. It’s also walking distance to the subway. I have never loved a place so much. Only thing I wish was for them to have more English stations on the TV (but we weren’t there to watch TV so it wasn’t a big deal!).

Most everything was pretty good. The staff were excellent, very helpful and understanding. They spoke Italian and English well. Our room was a Jr suit. It was quit large. It was odd though, we had a sofa seating area but no TV. The TV was on the wall in the bed area. It would have been nice to have a TV in the seating area for guests or when one was sleeping in bed and the other wanted to watch TV without disturbing the bed sleeper. The room looked updated with tile floors. The bathroom was nice and had a separate vanity from the toilet and shower. Our shower has black mold around the floor inside and partially up the walls...otherwise it was nice. The hotel gave plenty of supplies and toiletries. They have 1 washer and 1 dryer for the hotel. 4€ each per load. They had detergent and softener gratis. They have a gym that'll get the job done, 5€ for the entire stay. Breakfast everyday if you'd like in room. It was great. 10€ per person per day if you wish. The area wasn't bad. Food and markets close, plus tons of scooters and bikes nearby to rent or take a taxi. I'd have to say the best thing about this was the staff. The area may look a little rundown, but it looks like it's being revitalized. Give it a try.

The apartment was awesome. We loved the wrap around porch and sliding glass doors. The beds were comfortable, we loved the kitchen and washer and dryer.
It was about 45 minutes to walk to the Colosseum area. This was great for us since it got us away from the throngs of tourists.

Perfect Apartelle!

We stayed here for 7 days and 6 nights (7-13 August 2023). The location is perfecf. Half an hour walk to the colleseum, 15mins by taxi and 20mins to Trevi fountain, vatican and Roma Termini station. Lots of supermarkets, pubs and restaurants nearby. The room is spotless and massive! Bed and pillows are very comfortable (I wanted to take them with me lol). This apartelle is perfect! From cleaners to the manager. Sarah and the other receptionist are very helpful. Every single staff are very polite, helpful and fluent in English so it's so easy to communicate. Thank you so very much Gasometer! We really enjoyed our stay. If there is any branch in other countries, I will definitely choose Gasometer Urban Suites for our holiday. Hats off Gasometer! 👏👏👏

The separate apartment we from this hotel was the best Stay we had in all of Italy. Very clean! Very comfortable! The area around the property is dirty- however, that being said, it is secured by a security gate and property itself very clean. Walking distance from many restaurants. Felt like home.

We were skeptical walking to property from the train station. Turns out this hotel was fantastic! The rooms are spacious, modern and clean. The staff was phenomenal, on-site, and spoke English very well. They were all extremely helpful with transportation, directions and dining options. Breakfast is included and decent as well. There is a rooftop bar, fitness area and even laundry on-site. Train and buses to get to all major attractions are close. Would highly recommend this hotel!

Fantastic location, easy train, metro or bus into the centre or to/from airport. Lots of restaurants and bars within walking distance. Room was spacious - family of 4 had enough space with the sofa bed and the separate bedroom. Note to use the full kitchen it was 15 euro a day extra so check the fine print, but we didn’t require it - just used the microwave and kettle which were available for use. Staff were friendly and helpful, and it was kept very clean. Fantastic - we would definitely go back.

Loved my stay at the Gasometer, only bummer is the bar is closed on the roof, but you can still acres the rooftop with your own drinks

Good spot in Testaccio

Large, spacious, clean room. Breakfast was brought to the room every day. It was in a good location with lots of nearby restaurants. About an 8-minute walk to the metro station. I would stay here again.
