Beautiful hotel with extremely friendly and helpful staff. The location overlooking the promenade is wonderful and the views across the Gulf of Naples just stunning.

Room was very spacious and comfortable, with a large bathroom.

Breakfast buffet was outstanding, so much choice and the cakes each morning a delight.

Pool area was very nice too.

We found the resort staff couldn’t do enough to ensure the utmost care of cleanliness, the front desk always accommodating, always busy ensuing our stay was five star. I would suggest an iron being offered in each room as is an other places we have stayed, and the refrigerator needs to be vented a little more properly so that it actually can provide your guest with cold refreshments the cabinet always remained hot and I believe that had to deal with the refrigerators inability to keep the contents cold. .We did find the white staff of Litho 55 to be quite slow, the pool staff even slower in serving and taking orders.

The staff were very helpful, the breakfast was good, and the hotel was very clean. The food in the hotel restaurant was amazing and definitely worth trying. Highly recommended! However, for the price, I expected the room décor and furnishings to be of a higher quality. Hotel parking is €20/day, which adds quite a bit to the bill.

This hotel provides excellent comfort and service. The free shuttle around town provides a great service. No need to drive and find parking in one's own rental car. The staff are remarkably friendly and helpful about travel options to nearby Herculaneum and Pompeii. The restaurant has tasty choices and friendly staff. Parking is in a garage located at -1 level on the hotel's elevator. Luigi and Sara were super helpful in arranging travel experiences to the Amalfi coast. Overall, an excellent place to stay in Portici, a suburb of Naples.

Exceptional location with sea views . The hotel is maintained to very high standards and very stylish . All the staff from reception , bar , restaurant and parking were all very helpful and knowledgeable. It’s ideally located a short drive from Naples and ideally situated to explore Mt Vesuvius, Pompei , Herculaneum, Sorrento and the Amalfi coast

The room was actually a good size min suit, very clean spotless, the leaning staff did a great job.
The breakfast was very good and the waiters were very courteous. They made excellent coffee.
The receptionist were very helpful, the arranged a courtesy van to nearby attractions and to the airport.
We had a wonderful time.
I recommend the hotel to families.
The bed was very large bear comfortable.

First and foremost, Luigi's welcoming hospitality was by far the BEST! He checked us in and also was there when we checked out. This experience was luxury at it's finest. The room was spotlessly clean. We had breakfast while we were there and Mario continued with the exceptional service. Our stay at the The Tre Fontane did not disappoint in the lleast. It truely was luxurious. Of all the places we stayed in Italy this was the best. The Ocean views are amazing. The best part is the kindness and helpfulness of the staff. The driver was exceptional. The staff at the front and the manager make you feel like family. The bar tenders and food service people are so accommodating. The food was excellent. We walked to Vesuvius and took the local commuter Pompeii. We will come back and stay for longer. Make sure to explore the town and eat pizza and find the butcher with the best salami in the world.

The reception staff were very kind and helpful, especially the waiter who managed breakfast, he was exceptionally courteous and attentive. We stayed for five nights, and the room was cleaned daily and kept in excellent condition. All other facilities were also very good.

Room said to have a side view of the ocean did not. Rooms at the end of the hall (2-3 on each side of hallway)could not. The two buildings on either side were both 4 stories high (Italian 3) and under construction. So no noise on the weekends but no views at any time. We paid $100+ per night to get an ocean facing room which was worth it.

Our stay at this hotel was the highlight of our trip. From the very moment we arrived, the hotel staff was super attentive and helpful. We worked with them a lot to book transportation to get around. Tip for anyone traveling there, work with the hotel to book a taxi or the shuttle to the resort, because they will provide the best rates. It's about 35 euros vs 60 if you go with the taxi's outside the train. That also applies if you travel in an out of Naples center - it's about 30 min by car. Pompeii is about 30 min by car, 50 min by train (which they have a shuttle to get to the station). The food at the resort was incredible all around! The room was clean, spacious, and we loved the view of the ocean. We would definitely recommend and stay again.

Once on the property, the property is beautiful. The area surrounding the property not so much. The waterfront suite we had was beautiful. They offered five channels of American TV and it was all news which is the last thing I want to watch to. Called for the staff the person rolled their eyes when they took us to the five channels of American news like there you go there’s a great TV lineup for you.

The hotel was lovely and very modern. However, the location of the hotel wasn't great and there wasn't a lot to do within the area. The area itself wasn't very nice and we found the local people rude. Hotel staff was slow depending which waiter/waitress that was serving at the time. Receptionist was very nice when we checked in but other staff wasn't very forthcoming in helping. We had to travel using public transport which was hit/miss and slow. We preferred to be located in sorrento which is more nicer and more to do. Breakfast at the hotel was 12 euros per person, it was an American breakfast, it was OK, but not a lot of choice. I don't think its good value for money but there wasn't much else around the area. Overall stay was OK but we wouldn't recommend it due to the location of the hotel.

Rooms were clean but the soundproofing in the hotel is terrible with a huge amount of noise coming through our ceiling from the room shove meaning we got no sleep. I spoke to reception the next morning and they said that they would sisal to the guests upstairs but the noise continued the next day and so we left and booked another hotel losing three nights payment. I would not stay here or recommend this hotel for that reason. Otherwise the hotel was ok with friendly staff

The hotel is situated in a tranquil location, through a covered archway and away from the bustling streets of Portici. Here you have the most amazing view of the gulf of Naples. The hotel is stylish and modern with beautiful furnishings in the rooms and public areas. The staff are all friendly and helpful, nothing is too much trouble. Rooms are quiet and well appointed with a good rain shower and comfortable bed. There is plenty of storage and wardrobe space as well. Wi Fi in the hotel is complimentary and generally good. The restaurant is full a la carte and there is also a sushi tasting menu. The bar offers a good selection of snacks and small plates. All the choices are good sized portions. Breakfast is served 07:00-10:30, offering a buffet style selection including hot and cold food.
The only negative is that there is nothing close by; no restaurants or bars within walking distance of the hotel, so you are very limited on choice. Having said that we ate in the hotel and the food was top quality, well presented and good value. A nice touch was the shuttle they offer to and from Herculaneum. We also used this for our airport transfer. Regarding other sightseeing, they offer excursions through a local company that collect and return you directly to the hotel. There is also a train station ten minutes walk away, with trains running every 30 minutes to Napoli Centrale and beyond.
We loved our stay here and would definitely recommend.

We thoroughly enjoyed our one night stay before heading home. The sea views were absolutely beautiful from the restaurant, bar areas (Sara was fabulous in bar area), and the outdoor dining. The staff was amazing and so accommodating to your needs. They arranged airport transportation for us which was so helpful, even with the hiccup that we had upon our arrival(make sure you get the email address from them prior to arranging pickup and confirm they received it). Our suite room was GREAT and felt luxurious. Very roomy with a comfy bed AND pillows, couch and desk area along with wonderful balcony. They provide ALL amenities in bathroom including hair conditioner, which you don’t find so much in Europe. My hair was very grateful. Would HIGHLY recommend if you want a place on the water and near airport.

This is an absolute gem of a properrty. The views are spectacular and the pool, resturants, rooms all very nice and just as the pictures show. Dont worry about the train line, they are electric, pretty quiet and infrequent. The main street looks a little sketchy but we walked it several times at night and did not feel unsafe. Lots of quick food stops but only a couple of sit down places, \"The One\" was excelet however and a short 5 min walk. If the train line wasn't experiencing maintenence the train station was close. However the staff helped book taxis and have a set rate. Thanks Nino!

Expedia Group who owns hotels.com booked the wrong dates but charged our credit card and denied a refund
We did not stay in this hotel but kept insisting they refund our monies they would not !!
They also cancelled our room in Rome Italy due to availability for issues

We had a FANTASTIC experience at this hotel. We stayed here for 2 nights before attending a wedding in Puglia. The room was very spacious with an outdoor terrace area. The bed especially was one of the most COMFORTABLE sleeps we’ve had in any hotel.

The breakfast selection was good (fruit juices, coffee, pastries, fruit, yoghurt, eggs, sausages, cheese, salad), we highly recommend the samples of patisseries.

The pool area had a large number of sun loungers, so no scrambling for sun beds in the morning. Life guard was great, made sure the children were behaving in the pool area. We did also manage to visit the gym, had a selection of weights, treadmills, etc.

Unfortunately we didn’t try the Lithos restaurant so cannot comment.

We did have a car, we parked in the underground parking lot. However, it was €20 per night which we thought it was a bit steep thus the lesser rating.

We did a bit of exploration in the area 22 found a great/cheap pizza restaurant opposite the hotel called Pizzeria da langella michele which we would recommend! Also, for the sweet treats, we stumbled across CristoRe caffetteria pasticceria. Amazing sweet desserts at a very affordable price.

All in all, the staff were very friendly & attentive. We would definitely stay here again if we travelling from/through Naples!

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour, tout était parfait. petit déjeuner exceptionnel et très varié, servi sur terrasse vue sur la mer, Le dépaysement est total.Chambre très confortable avec vue sur la mer dotée d'une excellente literie. La piscine est grande, et chaises longues avec matelas et draps de bain à disposition. Les commerces ne sont pas très loin et rues commerçantes sont facilement accessibles à pieds pour le shopping. C'est bien la première fois lors de nos vacances que nous n'avions pas envie de rentrer chez nous... Nous reviendrons dans ce Resort , car il nous reste encore tellement à découvrir dans cette région.

Great hotel. A diamond in the rough. As others have said, the area is not where you’d find a high end hotel. When you pull through the gates you are greeted with a welcoming sanctuary. We had an early morning flight the next morning so we weren’t able to enjoy the breakfast so I can’t speak to that, but everything else was very nice. The staff were welcoming and helpful. Would definitely stay here again.

My flight arrived early Saturday, so I prepaid Friday night to ensure a room. Paolo from the hotel confirmed in writing they were expecting me Saturday morning. On arrival, the receptionist refused me the room, claimed I was a no-show, and was rude. I had to book another hotel, paying for three rooms but using only one. I am requesting a full refund of both reservations.

The hotel itself was very clean, and the rooms were comfortable and modern. The facility was well-maintained, and it’s in a decent location. I was also glad to see a nice pool area, and I must give a special shoutout to the pool guy—he was friendly, helpful, and genuinely welcoming, which was a nice touch.
However, there were a few downsides that really impacted our stay. First, the construction surrounding the hotel was a bit of a nuisance. It created quite a bit of noise, and the view from our room was far from pleasant with all the scaffolding and equipment around.
The biggest downside, though, was the staff. While the pool guy was fantastic, it was clear that the rest of the team wasn’t exactly thrilled to have us there. From check-in to check-out, the overall attitude was cold and unwelcoming. It honestly felt like we were more of a burden than guests.
Overall, the hotel has potential, but the lack of friendly service and the construction noise really detracted from what could have been a much better experience. If you're looking for a welcoming atmosphere and a quieter environment, this might not be the best choice

Hotel Tre Fontane was a beautiful, boutique hotel. A spacious room to spread out things out for the 4 days that we spent on the property, with a king size bed that was comfortable after long days of sightseeing. The restaurant was has a wide selection of gourmet foods for dinner, that are so fresh and meticulously prepared. The breakfast buffet was just as delicious with lots of choices. The only downside was the construction for the new hotel next door. Once that is finished, the entire campus will be exquisite!

A lovely gem of a hotel just outside of Naples and great for exploring Pompeii. The nearest train station was closed for renovations but the hotel put on a free taxi shuttle service which was fantastic.
The breakfast was great, hotel was very clean, quiet and modern. Comfy beds, spacious bedrooms, great for families.
The staff made the stay 5 stars. Always willing to help. Friendly, great service.

This hotel is absolutely beautiful from the moment you walk in. The pool is a great size with lots of comfortable loungers and many umbrellas for shade, if wanted. Carlo the lifeguard was incredible at ensuring eveyrone was enjoying a relaxing time by the pool by reminding kids to stop screaming and jumping in the pool around other people, much appreciated! We did book a partial sea view room and there was absolutely no sea view, so that was disappointing. Our air conditioner also dripped constantly (even at 23 degrees) and could not keep the room cool. We loved the huge TV, but because they put it behind a mirror, you can only watch it with the lights off and curtains closed. The bathroom was huge and gorgeous, but a bigger shower could be helpful. All of the front desk staff were feiensly and helpful. The breakfast staff on the other hand, were very inattentive. They seated us quickly, but never brought us utensils and never asked for a coffee order. We had to ask 3 people before we got one black coffee. The area around the hotel is so quiet which was a great change from the center of Naples.

The hotel is beautiful. The location is not in a great area, and hard to get to other places. The rooms were wonderful and spacious. They were extremely clean as well. Service is lacking overall, but particularly at the pool area and garage. There aren’t clear instructions on where everything is - and they aren’t very friendly employees to ask when we tried. The pool is gorgeous, and has a nice atmosphere. It’s nowhere close to the beach, and they don’t have beach access as is listed in the description.

This is a hard review to write because the hotel itself is beautiful and the staff was very nice. It was the nicest hotel “room” that we stayed in while in Italy. The breakfast was stunning! However, the hotel is located in Portici which is a very poor area. The hotel is in its own little compound, but you would not want to leave the compound to walk around. There aren’t any stores or restaurants outside the property. If there were I would not have walked to them anyway. There is a water view but not water access. The bus line is between the hotel and the water. The hotel is one of the only nice places in the area for events, so the locals rent out the hotel and the restaurant next door for parties. Every night we were there, there was a party. Loud music until 1:00 AM and later. There was even a kids birthday party and they had rented out the pool for the party. Sometimes the pool is closed to actual guests to accommodate the locals who rent the space for parties. Nice hotel, but I would not recommend it due to the parties and surrounding area. I actually would not recommend staying anywhere in Naples. Do your research.

The hotel boasts an elegant and inviting ambiance. The restaurant staff demonstrates exceptional courtesy, and the front desk personnel provide a welcoming and efficient check-in experience. However, there was a recurring issue with the air conditioning unit leaking water for two consecutive days, which was only partially resolved. Additionally, water tends to accumulate in the shower, causing soap residue to linger, resulting in an unpleasant experience as it takes an extended period to drain. Shuttle takes long time to pick you up from the locations. The experience was alright...

Hotel was really helpful from dislocation from our ship. I’m getting a taxi to the hotel. We arrived early. They looked after our suitcases then they went to the pool. Then they come and found us and told us our rooms are ready to check in so we did the hotel was of a very clean high standard Swimming pool was maintained exceptionally well. The poor lifeguard was really helpful showing us things where they were had a language barrier problem, but that was soon become, but overall I would definitely recommend at the hotel.

Beautiful hotel, beautiful location, comfortable bed and room, and a friendly, enthusiastic staff. My only issues: first, the stairwell is REALLY dark—not very safe. Second: the terrible, omnipresent “music.” Surely a place this nice could afford a Spotify channel with original artists instead of terrible covers? Also, the same terrible covers repeat over and over—we were only there two days and heard several of the songs 3-4 times. Otherwise, we greatly enjoyed the beautiful grounds, excellent drinks, and the spectacular pool!

As we were only here for a few nights we did use the hotel as a base, but would highly recommend.

Hotel was of a good standard but not on a very nice part of the city. Staff could be better, some are rude and others just uninterested. Food service very slow.
Pool nice but trains run by every 15 mins.

The hotel is in an impoverished neighborhood! Walking is sketchy, so you don’t feel safe after dark. The front desk team consorts with taxis to overly-charge customers! I paid at least $41 each morning to go about 5 miles into Naples for excursions (train station is not far, but it’s in a dark alleyway.) When I mentioned the over charging, management said they would handle it, but did not!

For the airport drive to the resort, I had to pay 50 euros cash only! (He asked for 55! For the return trip with a local driver, I paid 40 euros!

Sadly, the resort is immaculate and spacious! But there’s only one restaurant on the property, so you feel like you’re passing through a gauntlet to get to civilization each day!

I DON’T RECOMMEND!

Beautiful room. Pool was relaxing and amazing. Excellent concierge and guest services; they suggested a local eatery that was authentic and clearly a favourite amongst locals. Shuttle bus service to drop off and pick up. Overall deserving of the high star rating, it was by far the nicest place we stayed while in Italy, a wonderful change of pace from the cramped tourist hotels. And still close to Napoli Centrale and the airport.

The room was enormous and very clean but the hangers in the wardrobe were too high.
Pool area and beds were lovely as was the attendant.
Breakfast was perfect, everything you could want.
Restaurant staff inexperienced and charged me for a cesar salad I cancelled because it took too long to arrive.

Outstanding hotel, everything was top notch , including the service, Paulo at the reception was extremely helpful, spoke flawless English so was able to direct us wherever we wanted to go. We arrived 2 1/2 hours early before check-in and they let us in our room! I would give it more than 5 stars if possible! Great staff and awesome hotel!

A majority of the staff were charming and helpful. We were extremely disappointed with the fact that there was a building site next door and we had not been told about this. It was excessively noisy and unrelaxing by day. By night there were often parties at the hotel or local bar which also disturbed us a lot. The gym has hardly any equipment either. Both food and drink at the hotel was extortionate.

Overrated on Expedia. I would not give them 4 stars. It was a problem with the room. A/C didn’t work, bathroom sink was stocked. Bath shower too small. Next day we had a breakfast at 10 am. It was no cheese, no croissants. They said food finished. When we did checked in the guy was saw rude, when I called him to fix the problems in the room. I would not stay anymore in this hotel. Not to mentioned the city is nothing to do there.

The hotel was a perfect choice. They have a very good food and bar. The room is very clean and we couldn’t ask for more during our stay. We got the room with a private jacuzzi and it was very good. We definitely recommend staying at this hotel. The neighborhood around the airport is just fine. It is a little better than the streets in Napoli.

wonderful stay- beautiful hotel, helpful staff - even had a shuttle that dropped us at a local restaurant. We had a room with a jacuzzi and sea view which was gorgeous. Very comfortable bed.
Unfortunatley the hotel is popular for functions so there was loud music until midnight on 2 of the nights we were there. Also the pool is not heated so is bracing!
