Bathrooms in rooms had mold. Moved to several rooms during stay because air conditioning did not work or was extremely loud. Staff in restaurant was unfriendly and clearly hated their jobs. Furniture falling apart. Pictures online of this hotel are not the current conditions.

Bedding was dirty in the room, the carpets were stained throughout the room also. Lamps in the room were also covered in stains looked like somebody had had thrown coffee around the room. Large crack in bathroom mirror also, area around the hotel not very clean with graffiti all around the local streets train station was a 15 ish minute walk along damaged pathways with graffiti everywhere again and very dim dark streets. Not a nice area at all didn’t feel safe walking from train station to the hotel of an evening. Wouldn’t give 4 stars to this hotel if I were to choose I would give 2 stars.

The room was small and the curtains and floor all had stains on them. The bedding also had red stains on the duvet cover. The room was very warm and the air con didn't seem to work. The bathroom fan would not switch off so that ran all night. There was no plug for the bath and the bath tap didn't work. Service in the restaurant was very slow on the first night and the fish was pretty horrible. Service was much quicker on the second night though and I just ordered chips but they were good!

This affordable hotel was a good choice for Rome. It is a good 15 minute walk to the metro but doable. The staff was helpful in directing us to local resources like a preflight covid test etc. I would stay here again.

Our experience is not pleasant. We booked for 2 days but on the first day after roaming around the city when we got back our safety deposit box inside our room will not open with the code we inputed. And so we called the reception & told us they will handle it the next day. They did open but how is it that the code we inputed cannot be open anymore? Is there a hocus pocus or an inside job? Because when they open it the arrangement is different & i lost $500 US?? For me this hotel sucks in terms of service, lost money, not good breakfast choices no teapots, iron & definitely not a 4 star hotel. Bad

This is a very poor standard for what is advertised as a “4Star hotel” hotel. I stayed 4 nights. No Tea/coffee facilities in the room/ not able to adjust room temperature, no iron or ironing board and no housekeeping available before 7am to bring you anything. Restaurant advertises breakfast to commence 7am but the staff arrive at 7am so breakfast doesn’t commence then. Breakfast buffet very limited and basic. No fresh fruit behind apples. No staff willing to do something for customers outside of what is there on display. EG getting a pot of tea is a mission and no top for the pot. Some staff speak some English but many do not. Housekeeping only made the bed. No other cleaning done in 4 days of my stay. Really needs to be described as a 3 star- at least then guests would know what to expect.

Holiday in Rome

On a recent trip I had a very pleasant stay at the Oly Hotel. The staff is very polite and helpful. The facilities are clean and comfortable. Though the location is out of the center tourist spot it is close to the metro making it easy to get in and out of the old part of Rome.

It was a very positive experience. The staff were friendly and professional. The breakfast is decent. The location is decent though a bit far and not very remarkable. The closest Metro station is a couple of kilometers away - could be a but of challenge to walk with luggages. There are a few good options for restaurants close by. Surroundings is clean and quiet. Ideal for business visits

Went for business there. I mainly chose the hotel cause I was looking a one with a good gym. It turned out that access to the gym was not included with hotel booking, but a 12 Eur cover was asked.

Room was spacious and clean though.

Not that great - air conditioning did not work. Asked for a wake up call that never came. 10-15 minute walk to metro (which these days can be very crowded) - there are other hotels much closer to center of town. The reason I booked this hotel is because it was advertised it had an indoor swimming pool, which my kids like. But the pool, bottom floor of hotel, is connected to a gym, for which you have to pay 12 Euros per person (swimming cap required, which I had to buy as well), and the swimming hours are perhaps 1 or 2 specific hours each day; presumably there would equally be a separate cost for those wanting to use the exercise machine sin the gym. The staff were nice. I should note however that one staff member indicated we should take a bus to certain sites (Piazza Navona), but we missed our guided tour because we had to wait 45 minutes at the bus stop. So, use the metro to get as close as possible to your siteseeing. Staff - nice; Hotel facilities - generally pretty good; hotel room - good, but we were put on the first floor and loud people knocking on several doors on our floor, including ours in the middle of the night; hand towels in bathroom are more like cloth napkins you would find at your table in a nice restaurant; beds were OK, could have used a couple more pillows; finally, while there were many TV stations, don't expect more than a couple in English.

Why would you book anyone into a hotel out here .

We had to walk about thirty mins to get the metro, then another thirty min into city centre, then same back at night, so could not go back to hotel and chill and change to go out to dinner,once out that was us for the day,hated all of it, will never recommend Rome to my friends, was so looking forward to it.bad management from cruise company

The hotel room was very nice. A/C worked very well. The breakfast was okay. The staff were great. The only downside was the location, a bit of a walk from the metro station, especially after walking all day long in Rome, then you have a 10 minute walk up hill. Besides that, the hotel was great.

Sightseeing Hotel

We spent four nights at the Oly Hotel to give us 3 days sight seeing in Rome. It proved an excellent base for this if you are ok with a 10 minute walk to the tube station. This gives you access to all of the centre of Rome for 1.50 euro per trip and meant we could leave the car parked up for the duration - plenty of parking on site - real plus if you have a car.
Breakfast was a very good buffet but use of the indoor pool was restricted at the times we wanted to use it i.e. after getting back from a hot days walking! It was being used for classes every evening we were there and then closed at 5:30.
Very nice cafes between the tube and hotel and the pizzeria/trattoria about 5 minutes walk is very good value. We not have an evening meal in the hotel.
Room was excellent but not too good a view from the back of the hotel. Quite a steep walk back up to the hotel which is ok for the able bodied but proved a struggle for my elderly Mum.
All in all we would use this as a base again.

We were on a short stay in Rome, having come from a fantastic experience in Venice. The hotel lobby and room were dated, the carpet needed cleaning and the furniture in the room was banged up. The mini-bar was empty but for water. The room cramped but clean. The maid service was great and the front desk helpful. Free breakfast was available and fine - nothing stellar. It is a 10 minute walk to the metro and 30 minutes cab ride anywhere. The neighborhood was nice at night though - safe and friendly.

Go for the Great Service and Value not the Pool

I must commend the brilliant and friendly staff at the hotel. We arrived really early in the morning but within 10 minutes they had our room early nearly 2 hours before the allocated check in time. The room was actually a suite with one bedroom off a lounge area with a sofa bed. The bathroom was also a good size with a shower over the bath. Both rooms had a large LCD TV although the only UK channel was BBC News with around 20 other Italian channels. The room decor is okay albeit beginning to date slightly. There is plenty of car parking on site. The hotel is in a quiet residential area about 7 minutes walk away from the nearest metro which takes you into central Rome in 10 minutes. The walk takes you parallel to the Metro line which is covered in graffiti and whilst I can understand other reviewers comments about not feeling safe in the neighbourhood at night I did not see any other issues. The basement pool is a huge let down - an above ground affair only open until 2pm on Saturdays and closed on Sundays. We were also not able to try the Fitness suite as it is closed on Sundays. The continental buffet with pastries, cereals, boiled eggs, processed ham and cheese along with the ubiquitous hot and cold drinks dispensers was also fine. Great value overall.

This is a Good hotel for family visit to rome

This hotel has friendly and informative staff. It is very clean and tidy in all areas. The rooms are well equipped with Tv, safe and fridge. The beds are firm but comfortable, bathrooms are large and fully equipped also. There is free wifi and runs 24 hours a day in room. There is a vending machine and coffee machine on one floor which is full of many snacks and drinks. The breakfast is varied with most things available. They have a large secure car park well lit at night and the hotel grounds are covered with a camera system. On the down side the hotel is away from any real restaurants or shops. There is no bars or clubs nearby and the hotel bar is also the restaurant with no buz. The pool has limited opening for residents and you need the speedo and swim cap for access (weekend is worst times). If eating in hotel the food is ok but it's something you would only do once. It is a ten minute walk to the metro which is then 5 mins from the centre. the walk is fine during the day but wouldn't be sure of the area at nite.

Clean and hygenic room.
Helps with maps and advices about city tour.
1 min walk to bus stop.
In a residential area so kind of safe to walk at night.
Close to super market, where you can buy stuff at cheaper rates.

Cons:
There was no air-cooling during April.
Reception could not help with the bus timings.
Room not very spacious.
10-15 mins walk UPHILL from Basilica San Paolo Metro station.

Falta de organização no café da manhã

Estive neste hotel a mais de 10 anos, fui muito bem atendido, porém, nesta estadia o serviço caiu muito, o café da manhã, nas 3 vezes que fui foi péssimo, não havia reposição, faltava frutas, pães, croissant, ovos mexidos, varias pessoas reclamando, por duas vezes tanto a máquina de café como a de suco estavam fora de uso, alem disso, faltavam xícaras e copos, em contato com os funcionários se mostravam de extremo mau humor, cobrávamos reposição nos olhavam de cara feia e nada providenciavam, num dos dias serviram capuccino num copo de vidro por falta dê xícara. Falta organização e gerência, funcionários perdidos sem saber o que fazer. Não podem alegar que estavam lotados, um hotel deste tamanho tem a obrigação de atender a todos sem desculpas por quantidade de hóspedes.

Un 4 stelle degli anni 60....

Da un 4 stelle mi sarei aspettato molto di meglio.
Camere estremamente datate con muri ritoccati e rifiniture che nemmeno nei peggiori B&B di Caracas.
Il letto presentava nella parte centrale un vero e proprio fosso probabilmente dovuto a materassi datati o rete del letto sprofondata.
Purtroppo a tutto questo si aggiunge la moquette che non aiuta nella pulizia e nell'odore pesante che si respira nell'aria.
Speravo di riporre le ultime speranze nel ristorante che è stato peggio di tutto.
Ho ordinato una bresaola con scaglie di grana e ciò che si è stato presentato al tavolo erano l'equivalente di fette di carne (dato lo spessore importante delle stesse) e blocchi di grana al centro del piatto.
Ho avuto la felice idea di ordinare una carbonara che si è presentata con un uovo a dir poco crudo e che quindi rilasciava un sapore molto amaro dovuto alla poca cottura.
Purtroppo da evitare.

Aspectos bons: O serviço da recepção foi excelente. Os funcionários estavam sempre prontos a ajudar no que era necessário e com simpatia. O pequeno almoço era bom e com variedade .Os funcionários desta área eram também muito atenciosos. A limpeza diária do quarto era sempre muito bem executada e todo o pessoal muito educado e cuidadoso.
Aspectos a melhorar: o hotel está classificado com 4 estrelas. Mas não corresponde. É antiquado. Está a precisar urgentemente de obras de modernização. O chão dos corredores e o dos quartos é coberto por uma alcatifa que deve ter uns 30anos ou mais e com manchas que não saem. As casas de banho, muito antigas e com tampa da sanita a desfazer. As torneiras são velhas. A água saía por orifícios extras devido à oxidação dos anos de uso.
Aspectos não bons : A localização do hotel para quem está a pé é muito distante do Metro e do centro da cidade.
Sugestão: Retirava um estrela da classificação do hotel.

호텔 직원들은 모두 친절하고 좋았습니다.
단, 욕조에 해바라기 샤워기만 있어서 간단히
몸만 닦을 수 없었고, 해바라기 샤워기가 물튀는게
너무 심해서 숙박기간 동안 욕실 바닥이 흥건했습니다.
나머지는 다 좋았어요.

Purtroppo come dicono tutti i commenti la struttura è un po’ vecchiotta necessita di manutenzione ma a 90 euro a Roma può andar bene x quello che offre….personale gentile e cortese Ristorante troppo caro

Struttura fatiscente che non merita 4 stelle.
Di base camera pulita però presentava grosse macchine sulla moquette, mobili e prese rotte. Il fatto che però la mia allergia non si è presentata mi fa capire che almeno la pulizia day by day viene eseguita correttamente.
Colazione scarsa, con torte confezionate, poca scelta.
Tutto sommato fa il suo lavoro, se preso ad un prezzo basso, non può essere però definito un bel hotel

良かった点と悪かった点:3泊しました。)

1. バスタブがあったのは良かったが、水を抜くところの穴を塞ぐ蓋(栓)が無かった→ お湯を溜められなかった。(初日の夜)
2. 2日目の朝早くにフロントへそのことを説明し、快く返事が返って来て、その日の掃除の人にそれを備えるように伝える！とのことで安心して外出し、夕刻に部屋へ帰り、夜の外出のためにお風呂へ入ろうとしたら、未だバスタブは整っていなかった！！
3. 2日目の夜に外出する際に再度フロントへクレームを伝え、その時は男性でしたが、どんなに夜遅くても、そのフロントデスクで必ずお渡しします！！と確約してもらい出かけたのです。
結果は「　栓」を渡してもらったのですが、朝も夕刻も同じフロントの男性だったのですが、夜遅く返って来て部屋番号を言って、栓をください！と言っても最初は？？？という感じで、2度目にやっと、「　アッ、あ〜！！！そうでした！！」という感じで、何というか日本とは違うのは知っていますが、4星ホテルでコレはいけないと思います。
4. それと電気湯沸かしポットもなく、フロントで熱いお湯をポットに入れて欲しい！とお願いしましたら、食堂の方で行って下さい！！と言うのでお願いしましたら、小さいコーヒーカップいっぱいのお湯をくれて、これしか提供できません！！と言うのです。
コレもポットの備品がないのは仕方ないにしても、こんなひどいサービスの無さは今まで経験したことは有りませんでした。
5.後は枕元で夜中の2:30〜大声で話しをしているのが壁と枕を通して聞こえてくるのでたまりませんでした！！💢

一泊も結構なお値段をしています。

同じ日に違うホテルの結構良いホテルに泊まった娘は全然違ったお部屋と、待遇だった！と申しておりました。
もちろん電気ポットもあり、他の色んなサービスも充実していたようです。

La struttura è confortevole e situata in una zona tranquilla e poco trafficata. Da segnalare che l'hotel non aveva ricevuto la prenotazione tramite Expedia, sito che certamente non utilizzarò più per le prenotazioni con questo hotel.
La cena è stata discreta: i piatti erano gradevoli.
Anche la colazione è buona, anche se può essere migliorata. C'è una macchinetta automatica per servire il cappuccino o altre bevande calde, ma ho chiesto un cappuccino alla cameriera e sono stato prontamente accontentato.

Qualità deludente

Albergo datato e che non merita le 4 stelle. Accoglienza molto buona ma la camera pessima (richiesti due singoli e offerti un matrimoniale ed una branda, prese elettriche non funzionanti, filo elettrico di una lampada danneggiato, coperta macchiata, bidet otturato)

Da ritornarci

Ottima struttura con parcheggio privato. Situata a poca distanza dalla Basilica di San Paolo fuori le mura. Accoglienza perfetta. Disponibilità costante da parte del personale ( ho richiesto informazioni di vario genere prontamente soddisfatte). Pulito, silenzioso, funzionale. Lo sceglieró ancora in occasione delle prossime visite a Roma.
