I upgraded from Oasis Palm to Grand Oasis Palm because a lot of restaurants were not included under Oasis Palm. This is a resort where a lot of Mexicans come to vacation; as such, the food was more traditional, and a lot of the staff did not speak English well. I was able to communicate with my basic high school Spanish, though.
People reserve the chairs and loungers early in the morning. And only once someone moved my stuff.
The best part is that you can see the beach from the pool, and it takes less than a minute to go to the beach. They clean the beach of seaweed daily. Nice, clear, and calm water.

Two big cons are that they cannot make speciality drinks like a Dirty Martini and that most of their arcade machines are broken.

Would DEFINITELY not recommend you spend your money on this resort, ALL INCLUSIVE but limited access to specific pools and restaurants. To start off, after check in we were greeted by a friendly staff member helping “guide us” to our room, Turns out she was trying to sell us something along the lines of a timeshare which we refused. We were approached by one of these timeshare employees multiple times during our stay here so beware. Quality of food could’ve been better. Bottom shelf cheap watered down alcohol at all the bars. The propery overall doesn’t look to be well kept.

From the beginning, the people who attend to you are unfriendly. More intense and somewhat annoying are the vendors who are everywhere inside the hotel The room had a musty smell, the air conditioning a horrible sound. We had to call an employee to help us with the window curtain because it did not close. We were helped to sleep by tiredness but not by comfort. You could not get water for the room after 10 p.m. Despite being an \"all-inclusive\" hotel, you had to pay if you wanted bottles of water in the room. And the extra taxes they charge when they arrive at the hotel, do not appear when they pay on Expedia.

Our stay at Grand Oasis Palm was extremely disappointing, especially traveling with young children (ages 5 and 3).

The rooms were very run down and not well maintained. From the moment we arrived, it felt like the property was lacking basic upkeep and cleanliness.

The staff was consistently slow and unhelpful, which became a major issue on our last night. Both of our kids got sick after eating meat from the buffet and were vomiting throughout the night. Our 3-year-old got sick in the bed, and we urgently needed clean sheets and assistance. Despite the situation, it took housekeeping nearly two hours (around 11pm) to respond. With a 6:00am departure for the airport, this made an already stressful situation much worse.

The food quality overall was very poor. Beyond taste, there were serious concerns about cleanliness and food safety. Drinks were served in reusable plastic cups that were quickly rinsed in what appeared to be a dirty sink before being reused. Throughout the property, dirty plates and cups were left sitting around for long periods of time.

This was not a safe or enjoyable experience for our family. I would not recommend Grand Oasis Palm to anyone, especially families with young children.

Everything was amazing the room was super clean and organize, Isabella whom cleaned our room she was super nice and did amazing job while we stayed 6 days. Pool was clean and the beach was super calm for my toddler to be able to get in water. The food was always delicious a lot of choices and drinks were also really good the ice cream was also really good my toddler loved the choices. We also enjoyed the time we got to use toddler time in daycare I do wishes instead of couple of days they would change toddler time everyday thing it helps to kill some time when you have a toddler and the pool section for kids it was amazing .

It makes you feel that you are in a big resort but it’s super tiny with a huge building full of rooms but the entertainment part is very small. The beach side is very small. Food is horrible in every restaurant. There is nothing to eat. It looks like leftover food. The room was very bad. Very dirty. I requested to change the room more than three times with no help every time they say come tomorrow I paid about 2600 for a four-day vacation and it’s definitely not worth a dollar employees are very rude. You have to pay and tip every single one you pretty much deal with at the bar in the restaurant the guy with the beach towels and a lot more overall very stressful than relaxing. If it’s your first time you’re gonna be in a shock like me

Our stay at Oasis Palm – All Inclusive (Dec 24–29, 2025) was disappointing and not worth the price. The arrival and check-in process was extremely disorganized. Entry to the property was confusing, and check-in was split into two separate lines—one for registration and another for room key activation—each taking nearly an hour. There was no welcome drink, water, seating, or clear guidance, and staff were not helpful or comfortable communicating in English. After a long journey, the lack of support and poor guest handling was frustrating.

The room was a decent size but very basic, with missing amenities on day one, no bathroom lock, no shower door, a non-functional locker, and foul-smelling bathroom water. Food service was another major issue: despite advertising multiple restaurants, reservations were only in person with 1–2 hour waits, leaving guests dependent on one crowded buffet with repetitive food and very limited vegetarian options. We had to eat outside the resort on multiple days. Access to drinking water was difficult, bar options were limited with long queues, and beach chairs were insufficient and poorly managed. Overall, the resort does not deliver a true all-inclusive experience and does not justify the cost. I would not recommend this property.

Worst hotel I’ve ever stayed at! Huge outbreak of gastrointestis throughout the hotel. All members of my family severely sick for 4days out of our 7night stay. Queues for at least an hr every night to eat at the all inc restaurant in the evenings. Disgusting food. Cheap watered down spirits & beer, we had to go out & buy our own as it was literally undrinkable! Smell of sewage on the beach. Rude, lazy & unhelpful staff. Could not wait to leave. Christmas vacation ruined! Everyone else we spoke to around the pool said the same thing.

Overall, I did not enjoy my stay at Oasis Palm. Check-in was supposed to be at 3:00 PM, but even though we arrived before 2:30 PM, it took over two hours to get our room, which was extremely frustrating. I’ve stayed at many hotels and resorts before and have never experienced such a long and unexplained delay.

The service was also very disorganized. When we asked for drinking water, the receptionist sent us to the coffee shop, and the coffee shop staff then told us to go to the restaurant. This back-and-forth was ridiculous and showed a lack of coordination.

Additionally, the bathroom water had a bad smell, and the Wi-Fi connection was very poor throughout the stay.

Overall, this was a disappointing experience and did not meet expectations.

This was a terrible hotel from customer service to property. You had to make a line for everything for breakfast buffet and for dinner as well which we’ve never experienced at another resort. Not to mention the terrible customer service at check in super rude and took 4 hours to check us in there was a big line. Look it up on TikTok other guests made videos. Also when we got to the ro they were painting the walls!!!! Crazy, so please don’t waste your money

The Jurassic kids pool is not cared for and was an absolute mess... We went in for about two minutes and left absolutely disgusted.... Tree branches, broken climbing areas, a dead mouse, toilet paper, garbage... It was bad. The kids club rules are frustrating as well, I couldn't take my 2 and 4 year old in at the same time. My two year old could only go in a few days a week for certain hours in the morning andy 4 year old would have to go alone.... So we did not use the kids club.

The food was really good. The beach was clean and rooms were fairly clean.

The line ups were insane.... Huge line ups to the buffet every morning, huge check in line that took about an hour or more...

Overall, we wouldn't return. It was decent but not worth the price.

The lines for food was crazy. If you showed up for breakfast at breakfast time you would wait 3 hours to eat. What is posted online as features of this resort ARE NOT what is actually in the resort. My experience at this hotel was very disappointing. The ramps for people with disabilities are a real safety hazard — they’re poorly built and quite dangerous. The safes in the rooms are extremely outdated; you have to carry around the key, which makes no sense if you’re going to the beach.
There were cockroaches in the restaurant, which was absolutely unacceptable. The timeshare salespeople were the worst part — they ask you to tell all sorts of lies and even to show your credit cards.
The bathrooms are old, small, and uncomfortable. The TVs don’t have Netflix or YouTube, which is surprising these days. And finally, the air conditioner is so noisy that it’s almost impossible to get a good night’s sleep.
I definitely wouldn’t recommend this place.

Looks like it is an older property and need serious updating. There was a lot of mold around the roomsand broken furniture, especially around the pool and the beach.
The kiddie pool had algae around the outside that looked like it hadnt been cleaned in a very long time. It is unfortunate, but the pictures of this hotel are very misleading.
Also, they do not have enough space to seat everyone for dinner at the buffet which makes a huge line to eat dinner. It was wild. You definitely do not want to be waiting on line with three hungry children.
The rooms were very small and the beds were full size. The weird thing was that they were very close together.
I was really disappointed in this resort and ended up leaving after I saw a huge Roach hanging out on the wall.

Front desk associate were little rude.
In the breakfast buffet in Bites food hall hostess and waitress had the worst service ever, the food was great do. I hated going to the bar only one server at all times, to get a beer it took over 15 minutes.
The best experience was in the restaurant Cocoa grilled and seafood, we had dinner there every night
Rodolfo was our waiter every night amassing service he deserves a raise. Food was excellent as well.

I would not recommend this hotel. The rooms were outdated and dirty and small! The restaurants and food available were not good! We paid to upgrade to the hotel next-door in order to be able to use their restaurants and pool. That was a little better, but not by much. At the upgraded hotel, there were no chairs around the pool to sit on. The only chairs available were at the beach. So while my kids were swimming in the pool, I had nowhere to sit. There was only one bartender at each bar, so you would stand in line for a good 15 minutes to get a drink. The drinks had a chemical taste to them. Most of the restaurants were the same way. At the sushi restaurant, there was only one person working. So I stood in line one day for 45 minutes to get sushi by the pool. The little kitchen areas around the pool with food, were terrible! The hamburgers were definitely not hamburgers! No outdoor bar to sit at. The pool is also closed every night at 8 PM, which is pretty early when your kids want to stay swimming. Entertainment didn’t start until after 10 PM. So as your kids are trying to sleep, the very loud music goes until midnight.
I definitely would not recommend going here. But you get what you pay for. I learned my lesson. I will definitely pay more money to stay at a nicer resort.

We had a great time, the food was good, most of the staff was friendly and helpful and the highlight is definitively the calm and kid friendly beach. We went with our kids, and it was a wonderful beach for them to explore, swim and have fun. The only thing I did not like was the fact that the bedroom did not have a balcony.

The welcoming guest personnel instead welcoming you they immediately wanted to sell you packages and didn't care about your real needs they just wanted to sell.

We told the housekeeping we needed more towels and come to clean our room and they never showed up. The next day, housekeeping said they have a hotel policy of not cleaning everyday and they didn't bother in notify us when we asked for the service.

Since lots of people used the big pool then it became dirty very fast, not sure every when they clean it but next day you can still see a black sheet of oil and remaining of sun protector products on the surface of pool water.

The resort is one of the cheaper options and you get what you pay for. The food was decent , if you book the oasis palm you only have a few A la carte restaurants to choose from, the rest you have to pay for just fyi.They had shows and activities most of the days. The beach area is decent. There’s always a wait in line whether it’s to check in or buffet, even when waiting for the elevator. The check in process was very frustrating, had a super early flight + a long wait at the airport, then arrived at the resort around 2pm (check in was 3pm). They gave us our wristbands and were told to return to the check in lobby at 3:30 pm to receive our rooms and activate our wristbands but so did about 30-40 other guests. We were exhausted from the early flight didn’t get our rooms until 4:30-5pm. We had to return a few times to the lobby by stairs because wristbands were not activated correctly. Other than that issue everything was okay. There is staff that is by the elevator offering pirate ship boat rides for free but they are trying to sell timeshares. Overall the resort is okay. I give it a 3/5 Stars.

La estancia en el hotel fue horrible.No recomiendo a nadie esa instalación. Te venden algo online que no tiene nada ver con lo que vez cuando llegas .Para comer solo esta un bufett con alimentos mal concervados ,y los demas restaurante no funcionan después de 7pm .Las habitaciones son muy malas no hay puerta en la ducha y el agua corre por la habitacion ,los baños no drenan ,hay que llamar siempre por algun problema...si no es porque se va el agua es porque no dejaron todas las toallas o se bloqueo el baño .Muy mala experiencia en ese Hotel Oasis Palm ...muy mal servicio mal trato a los clientes en todos lados en el bar,en la piscina que solo esta disponible hasta las 8pm .Nose sinceramente todo incluido a que se refieren .

The staff at the hotel were very nice and always willing to help. Didn’t like that they didn’t have a reservation under my name so I have to wait until a room is as available. The coffee maker in the room was broken and the personal care supplies was minimal. We were 3 people in the room and only want could use the shampoo, soap, etc… Also temperature in the room is locked. You can’t adjust it. Many option of restaurants but not all of them are open. It is really difficult to book one, we ended eating dinner outside the hotel in local restaurants. The hotel in general was good with a lot of activities to do.

This was a terrible experience. The property has aged badly, and they don’t seem to put much effort into keeping it clean. We had to try three different rooms because they all had mold—so much so that after checking the third room, the front desk employee admitted they were all in the same condition.

Common areas were left dirty overnight. They also had live music every night that went on late into the night. The resort is advertised as family-friendly, but it’s hard to get any sleep with young kids when loud music is playing so late.

The buffet area was dirty, and the employees used questionable procedures to restock and keep the food fresh.

This is definitely a property that saw better days a few decades ago. If all you care about is price, this might work for you—but if you want a clean, quiet, relaxing, and safe place, don’t bother.

We ended up checking out four days early because we tried to speak with management about our concerns, and they simply didn’t care.

You get what you pay for. We were here in 2016 and it was ok, so I thought we could give it another chance. Immediately as soon as I checked in, I got pulled to the side and pressured for a 90min breakfast to learn more about the hotels, I said no and she kept insisting, after 10mins of back and forth we kept saying no and she just let us go. Back in 2016 and now, this is the only hotel that I have been at that they try to pressure you to do things instead of letting you enjoy your vacation. Then, the towels and sheets were stained in our room and had to request for them to be changed. Two days laters more stained towels. The shower water was cold and was told to get the hot water running I need to turn the cold water all the way, slightly turn the hot water and then turn on the hot water from the sink. Had to do that everyday to get hot water in the shower. The good food was in The Agave, La Hacienda, and Cocoa. The waiters In these locations were very kind. Tony was the most genuine waiter. There is not enough seating near the pools, so if you plan on having a pool day wake up early and find your chairs. I will say that the beach was clear, no seaweed, no waves, very calm and beautiful. My kids really enjoyed being in the water. Also, the time I did need things, front desk helped and later called back to confirm that we did get the clean towels and if the water was fixed. All in all I won’t be coming here again.

This is a great hotel but if you are traveling with wheel chair or walker the hotel really need to figure out how yo get an elevator to the pool area from the rooms .the ramps the offer are to incline that if your not strong enough you can lose grip and have an accident!!!! Aside from the girls in the coffee shop, I have never been more discriminated against, ignored and disrespected as a person, let alone a paying customer. I have traveled through several countries and a variety of resorts and have never written a bad review….this resort changed all that.

Food preparation/serving was not safe.

Black mold in the bathrooms.

Cleaning….instead of replacing dirty towels, housekeeping just took them. Each day. 1 bottle of water is supposed to be provided/restocked…nope, just took everything….except the glass which was dirty and had used q-tips and cotton swab in it…that they left.

Toilet didn’t work…they did fix that in a timely manner.

Only 1 bartender for the entire beach area and pools.

We got 1 night at a restaurant and that was it. Buffet for the rest of the time.

We were outright ignored when getting service and disrespected. An attitude came even though we said please and thank you for everything. Doors were closed right in front of us as we walked up to them.

I was so excited to visit Mexico as it was my first time and have heard great things from friends who have gone there and friends that live there. The experience at this hotel…

Travelocity should seriously question their relationship with this vendor. The first comment out of client concierge’s mouth was “well, I hope next time you stay at the Sens side.” No welcome no hello.

The photos on Expedia are misleading — many are from the neighboring Sens property, which is also owned by Oasis. When you arrive, you’re faced with limited dining options, long lines (sometimes over an hour just to eat), and some restaurants require reservations. Access to certain pools and restaurants is also restricted unless you pay for an upgrade. They blame Expedia for the confusion but still pressure you to upgrade.
They also push timeshares aggressively, which is frustrating. The poolside bar on the Oasis side was filthy — definitely not a place you’d want to eat or drink from.
I don’t recommend this resort or any Oasis property. They constantly try to charge extra for everything. I upgraded just to get decent food, but my room stayed the same. If you want a relaxing vacation, book somewhere else.

The hotel itself was great. Just the app to do reservations for dinner never worked. Asked staff regarding this no other solution for dinner reservations so we had to eat Dinner buffet all week without getting to try anything more. Drinks and bars and pool where amazing.

Liked the amenities, kids club was great. Restaurants had great selection.

Wish the sales staff had been completely honest and up front. As we were told the Oasis bucks could get two 25min massages where as it only covered part of one. Likewise the tours said the Xal-ha was a 1 hr bus ride and it was actually 1.75hpura away and I found that misleading and annoying.

If I could giver ZERO stars that’s what the resort ”motel” would get.
Within us being there four hours (Husband, daughter 13 , son 10 and myself) I was walking up the club area to speak to a manager. My spouse was talking to another resort to see if they could get us in. We were in the palm building which is right in between grand and Sens. since I booked through EXPEDIA they would not do a refund even when I was speaking to the manager and the Expedia assistance I was there for less than 4 hours at this time.
Our room was like a crabby motel room.
We stayed for 5 nights and only got the room cleaned once. I had to call twice to get towels.
We were told that we couldn’t use the pool that was between our building and the Sens. It was the Sens “pool”. Same thing with the bar. Even though that was right next to our room and the closest to us. Why would you connect a restaurant to a resort building then say well you can’t use this one.
The bar at the ocean was slow ALWAYS had a line. The works never asked if you needed anything, but they were too fast to pick up those plastic cups. I would barely finish, and they would come and collect.
We went to try to use the slides at the kid’s club. We were told that it was being cleaned, and we would have to wait till 330pm we came back and then it changed to 4pm then they had a movie on so my kids couldn’t use the slide.
The app is not good. We tried 4 nights for reservations. Was denied every time. Tried different restaurants and times

The reason I am ratings this property is due to a few reasons. First check in went smooth and the first impressions of the hotel were great. The restaurants did have weird hours and after check in almost nothing was open were the least of the issues. Because our room TV or phone did not work. The shower would not drain and when asked to be changed to a different room the manager said we could upgrade or check out tomorrow at 11 and check back into a different room at 3. It took over an hour to find a working room for us to stay in.

This property was nothing close to advertise. We had a terrible dinning and hotel stay experience. We requested room change and then the other room had plumbing issues. The restaurant wasnt at par and to stay we didn’t enjoy either meal. It was sub par at its best. Will not be booking here ever again.

The place is nice. The room that we got was good except the bathroom. The bathroom is too small and showering was a nightmare. You literally wet the whole bathroom showering. The staff members are nice but it seems that because they are overwork they are not happy. The restaurants are very limited. You have to make reservations or be in line for hours. Food is ok. Entertainment is great. I liked all of them and we tried to go to all of them. Overall was ok.
