The hotel is very neglected, the towels are extremely old, and the cleaning staff is not properly trained to clean. The courtyards are abandoned and strewn with trash; there is no hot water in the bathroom; and to top it all off, the front desk staff is extremely rude.

I booked 3 rooms in the beginning of January, 2026. Every room had a musty smell. The showers were covered in mold. The toilet overflowed twice in one of the rooms. The pools were not maintained. I was double charged for a breakfast meal. It has been over a month since my visit and I am still waiting for my refund.

The staff were very friendly and polite.

Amazing experience from start to finish! The staff was friendly, professional, and truly attentive. My room was clean, well-organized, and exceeded my expectations. The service was excellent, and you can tell they genuinely care about their customers. Today, for Día de Reyes, the manager surprised me with a beautiful and delicious mini rosca, which made my stay even more special. Esperaba mucho mas de un hotel “Camino Real”, ya que es un hotel asociado con un perfil superior a business, y decepcionantemente me contrae con un hotel que se mira viejo, que las recamaras también huelen a encerrado y polvo, manchas en las alfombras, cortinas con mecanismos rotos, cortinas con bichos muertos, la repisa de las toallas en el baño estaba descuadrada y posiblemente a nada de caerse, ademas las ventilas del aire acondicionado muy sucias, y para cerrar las sabanas dan una sensación de humedad, como si te hicieran sudar sin hacer nada. No es un hotel que quisiera regresar hasta que no hagan una modernización.

Y por ultimo, me habían mencionado que podía solicitar una cuna para mi hijo, y en efecto la tuvieron, pero primero fue un problema que me la entregaran y para acabarla era una cuna en evidente estado de deterioro, ademas de que el colchón proporcionado para la cuna se notaba sucio, con muy poca confianza de poder dormir ahí a mi hijo.

One of the best kept secrets in Guadalajara.
The Camino Real is for travelers who desire a low density hotel with beautiful landscaping, gardens and several swimming pools and outstanding staff and service.

Beautiful grounds with great location

Camino real is located walking distance from sa nice hopping center and approximately 20 minute ride to downtown. The grounds our exquisite gardens, great food a nice gym and excellent customer service. The rooms are relatively spacious and clean, with comfortable beds and a nice water flow shower head.

I stay in this property due to its proximity to the consulate. The hotel needs maintenance, our toilet chain was not working, I had to use a clip to make it work, the phone was not working either to report it, no hair dryer, the room had a smell of humidity. The staff were great, everyone was very friendly.

Paid for an Executive Suite with jacuzzi .... absolutely no water pressure so the jacuzzi and the shower could not be used .... barely enough water in the sink to wash your hands ... and what very little water there was, was not hot, barely even luke warm .... Breakfast Buffet was excellant but not inexpensive .... overall a poor rating ... ... could have stayed at the Hard Rock for the same amount that we paid for the Executive Suite ....

My Family trip to Guadalajara.

Hotel was pretty clean, personnel were very friendly and courteous. They let me borrow a wheel chair during my stay. The only uncomfortable thing was the beds, I shared a bed with my daughter and because they were double beds and not queen size beds we were both uncomfortable. Other than that it was a pleasant stay.

O liked the location is in a safe place with easy access.
The hotel is updated needs urgent remodeling, the bath towels are old, the bathroom is uncomfortable, the toilet is 10 cm from the mirror and vanity. The food quality is poor, I tried room service, they suggested a steak asked for medium rare it looked like jerky, I could not eat that, the breakfast buffet same thing, low in options, the tamales dry, I did not like it at all.

The reviews listed seemed unfavorable. We had an enjoyable time, the room was consistent with a 3.5 star Mexican hotel. The low building profile, balconies, common and open areas are a spacial comfort when compared to hermetically sealed structures. Staff, parking valet, maintenance and room service responded almost immediately! We exclusively Uber'd as far as Tlaquepaque for stress free transportation in GDL. The weather was perfect. Dinning was superb near by. Earplugs are helpful as the adjoining room doors are paper thin.

The register only can write for one people and then in front desk not update how many people stay in the room…. The offer say 2 people. In the breakfast only 1 people can take free another guest pay. Ok. In the offer say 2 people no one. Register is for 2 guest . The register online only leave one people register.
