Unfortunately, we weren’t very happy with our stay at Regali Villa and actually ended up cutting it short and checking out 5 days early (after having stayed there for 5 days). The pictures on hotels.com aren’t very new so the hotel looks a lot more worn down and really needs a face lift. The roof isn’t completely sealed/closed and the doors don’t close completely, so we had a few animals in the room. The small gekkos are fine, but the big one in the ceiling, as well as a frog, was just too much for us. We were prepared for animals and insects being outside, but not being able to close the door (or the roof) made us feel like we weren’t “safe” from animals and insects anywhere.

Despite the food not being what is showed here on the website, it was still quite good - the coffee especially!

This might just be me, but having the toilet be behind a see through door or even no door at all was also a bit out of my comfort zone.

I will say that the staff was great though - they were very nice and tried their best to help in any way they could. For example, they helped us switch rooms in the middle of the night when there was a weird scratching sound in the ceiling + a gekko, which we really appreciated! And they removed animals and cleaned anytime we called! They were also very helpful, understanding and sweet when we wanted to check out early and requested a refund! So I really have no complaints about the (very sweet) staff.

Staff were wonderful! So helpful and kind to our young family! Location was great. Close to shops, food, and beach. We had the three bedroom villa and it had space for us to spread out, enjoy, host dinner for our broader family. Lots of swimming!!

As soon as I walk in there’s a bunch of lizards and spider webs everywhere, it was dirty and disgusting. I’m not usually a strong judgmental person but this was just nasty and it was the 2 bedroom suit too so it should’ve been somewhat nice. I then tell them I can’t stay I’m going somewhere else and they apologize and say I can get a full refund and they will process it. I contact Expedia and they completely stop answering so I never got my refund for this terrible terrible dirty disgusting place. Worst hotel I’ve ever seen in my life and I’m not exaggerating it.

Great to have your own space and pool, the accommodation is starting to date and needs minor repairs or updates but is good if you’re after getting away from resorts.
Staff were friendly and helpful but didn’t have local knowledge for food or to organise tours.
The rooms were cleaned daily and again the staff were friendly and professional.
Food choices in the villas is restricted, but there are a number of good places for food all around, just takes some discovering.

This was a great place to stay. The staff was really nice and they tried to help when they can. My suggestion would be to update the property by doing some renovations and make it more bug and animal proof.Maybe not have a deep pool in the villa. All in all it is a great hotel

This property was without a doubt the best bang for our buck throughout our entire 4-week stay in Bali. My fiancee and I were recently engaged, so the staff went above and beyond to set up our room with a romantic atmosphere. The private pool and the area around it was beautiful. The outdoor bathroom, including a stunning bathtub was breathtaking. The beds were comfortable and the staff was very pleasant. I would definitely stay here again on my next trip to Canggu.

Like staying in an abandoned resort.

Friendly, helpful staff.
Nice having your own private pool but villas are in very poor condition, like staying in an abandoned resort. Furniture rotted and falling apart, sun lounges filthy and mouldy, tiles falling off pool, gardens fool of weeds. Outdoor bathroom covered in ants and snails, shower heads needs replacing.

The best villa in Canggu

Our stay at Regali villas was the absolute best, the villas are amazingly beautiful with private kitchen, private pool, private bedroom and an awesome outdoor Bathroom couldn’t have stayed at a better villa!!! The workers of the villa were just as good as the stay very friendly and welcoming, asking how your day was and what we got up to. The lovely man at the front desk Tian provided the best service we spoke to him about paying extra to have a late checkout as we have a 10 o’clock flight to leave Bali at night time, we planned to get an extra 2 hours in our villa which they gave to us at no extra cost. Couldn’t ask for a better place we will be back!!! Thankyou everyone :)

We loved our stay here! Our villa was so beautiful and peaceful, exactly what we had hoped for in Bali. Location was great, so close to everything but set back from the street enough that we couldn’t hear anything but the river. Staff for all so lovely and amazing, will definitely be coming back!

The Deluxe Villa I stayed in was spacious, beautiful, peaceful and better than I expected. I really enjoyed my private pool and koi pond (although i wish it were a bit cleaner for the fish). The hosts were kind and attentive and the location was close to a little street full of shopping, cafes, and restaurants. I recommend if you happen to find yourself in Canguu and need a comfortable retreat

The staff were lovely and the options to have breakfast and spa treatments in the villa were great along with being able to hire motorbikes for the day. I think that the villa needs to improve on cleanliness. The pool was dirty and the bed sheets/quilt cover and pillowcases had stains on them too which wasn't very nice.

Lovely pool inside our villa. Very comfortable bed. Staff were very friendly. Cleanliness was a bit substandard, and it would have been nice to have at least pillow cases changed. However overall, very nice and would stay again.

We absolutely loved our 1 bedroom pool villa, it was perfect. The pool could have done with a bit of a clean but that’s the only negative. The villa was a great size and the staff were all lovely. Really good breaky, which we chose to have served to us in our outdoor dining area in the villa every morning. Thank you for such a perfect holiday.

We had a fantastic stay at Regali, the position of the Villas is close to the beach, restaurants and shops but still in a quiet and peaceful area.
The staff are amazing, super friendly and helpful without being overbearing.
The villa itself could certainly do with a few odd jobs sorting out here and there.

Villa was great really enjoyed having own pool, walking distance to the beach and to shops and restaurants. Only problem was the night before our stay they wanted to move us to another villa 15minutes away but after speaking to them and us not happy they were able to accommodate our booking but that was a stressful time as we had picked there for the location.

Our week stay at the regali was amazing, we loved our villa. The staff there are beautiful, very friendly and exceptionally helpful.
The hotel is very clean, there were the odd cracked tile and some timber could do with a re-vanish but we aren’t marble garglers and this place fulfilled all our expectations, it is affordable and was luxurious for us. If you don’t like the odd frog or gecko, probably reconsider even going to Bali.
We couldn’t fault the place. Highly recommended, I would live at the regali if we could. What you see in the photos is what you get, and we have stayed in many places in Bali. Canggu is a beautiful area, away from the hustle and traffic, but close enough to get if needed for shopping etc.

Lovely villas bit time for an update

Great staff, lovely villas but the place desperately needs an update. The soft furnishings need to be replaced and the tiles are stained, the pool tiles need to be replaced. In saying all of that I would stay there again.

Beautiful Villa

My partner and I loved this Villa! The villa is private and spacious, with a detached living space. The daily breakfast was lovely and it was great coming home each night to have the room made up to keep the mosquitoes out. The pool was clean and the outdoor bathroom was very nice. The location is close to the beach and restaurants and was perfect for our stay in Canggu. I look forward to coming back to Bali and we will definitely be staying at Regali Villa again.

At first impression we thought the villa needed a little maintenance and cleaning but the floors weren't dirty just stained.
Staff were lovely and the in room massage was great.
Location for us was excellent as we could walk to all the amazing Canggu cafes in the echo beach area but still really nice and quiet.
Pool was really cold and lots of shade in the pool area.
Would stay there again.

Hardware is excellent but not the softwarr

The villa is gorgeous but maintenance and uokeeping needs improvement. Hotel staffs are super friendly and always have a smile on their face. Few things to consider:
- private pool in the villa to have hot water. It's definitely too cold to even get inside on a sunny day
- I saw coffee stain on the \"new\" bathrobe hanging in my wardrobe when I checked in
- door to my villa - can't close and the hotel staff was fast to respond. Need to give them the credit! But it's back on to maintenance. Need better upkeeping of such a nice villa
- public pool is pretty but doesn't seem like is meant for people to swim in it. It's a shame

Villa was located in a good place. 5-10 mins walk to echo beach and lots of cafes around. The villa itself is very nice with the outdoor living area, bedroom and outdoor bathroom. The staff are very attentive as they would make up the room every time we went out. In the mornings, they would setup mats for the suntan bench while they would prepare insect repellents and the mosquito nets in the evenings. The staff can also arrange motorbike rentals from the local for cheap. Breakfast options are limited but is hearty with the option to even have it in your villa. For longer stays, consider the nearby cafes for breakfast. We had a late flight out and they were very accommodating for allowing a pretty late checkout.

Beautiful Villa in Paradise

We stayed at the Regali Villas for 6 nights and it was 6 of the best nights we've ever had in Bali (and we've been several times)! The location is in a quiet section of Canggu just a 5-10 minute walk to Echo Beach. It's also within easy walking distance to some of the best restaurants in the area. We had a 1 bedroom villa with a private pool that was very spacious, well maintained, beautifully presented and very clean. The outdoor dining area is next to the main pool and serves a wonderful breakfast. The grounds have 18 villas in total and are very well maintained and clean. The staff are the best; extremely friendly, helpful and knowledgable The all know and call you by name every time they see you, which is a lovely touch. Gede and Ari are very professional and do a great job of looking after all your requirements and questions. We have already booked to return later this year. Now we've found this little hidden gem in Canggu I don't think we'll be looking elsewhere.

Nice pool villa, breakfast was served in the villa which was nice. Some critters will be there in outdoor parts of course but at least not many in the bedroom which is not a guarantee in Bali. Looks like it's in the middle of nowhere when you get there but you can easily walk to Echo beach
