Ate at Mobay buffet several times while on vacation. I must compliment the chef down to the waiters and waitresses. On some of those occasions we were served by Odain and Shante and couldn’t have had any better service. Wonderful dining experiences. I stayed at Lady Hamilton room 2721 and cannot complain about the cleaning she did in my room. Satisfied the whole experience was amazing. Can’t wait to come back again. Thank you for a great vacation!

Our second time staying at this property. The staff is extremely helpful and appreciative of their guests. We love having three different beach options all perfect for relaxing, swimming and snorkeling. The largest pool in the Caribbean doesn't disappoint. Fun daily activities and nightly entertainment are top notch. Food and drinks were excellent. Our first trip we stayed in a beachfront bungalow, this time we were closer to the restaurants and lobby and we were very close to the pool and beach. Nearly 6 months after the hurricane there was still alot of the construction going on but nothing that effected anything. I would highly recommend for couples,(Lady Hamilton side) and a side for families. One love.

Everyone was so pleasant and helpful and the food was amazing! Odaine from the mombay restaurant was an excellent waiter so happy and always treated us great and Ashanti also in the Bombay for breakfast was excellent waitress so happy to serve us! The cleaning lady for 2734 was great our room was always clean and fresh and the fridge was always stocked never had to ask for anything. Such a great staff!

The resort was aged but okay. We were repeatedly approached by resort staff and asked if we wanted to buy drugs, also, many staff targeted us and asked us for money because they were still trying to recover from the hurricane. It was very uncomfortable.

The property is absolutely beautiful and clean. Our villa was also very tidy and lovely. The only issue within the room was that the air conditioning unit dripped a bit and there were some issues with opening the screen door because it was off track. Other than that, the room was everything I expected.

Food was delicious and there are many options for every palatte. If you love variety- you will love all of you choices. You will need to make reservations for the ala carte reservations so I recommend booking reservations as early as possible and/or offering to asisst new guest with bookings upon check in.

Amenities - there are alot of options for guests to enjoy.

The room was actually cleaner the day after we arrived than it was on the day we checked in, which was disappointing and not the standard we expected.

The television in our room also did not work the entire stay. We reported the issue to the service desk several times each day, but an IT technician didn’t come until the night before we checked out. When you book a room, you expect the amenities to work.

We were told they tried to call us, but we shouldn’t have to stay in the room all day waiting for maintenance while we’re on vacation. We should be able to enjoy the beach and the resort, not sit around waiting for someone to fix a television.

At night we like to relax and watch local shows after a long day, and unfortunately we didn’t get to do that during our stay. Overall, it was frustrating and not the experience we expected.

Even though I paid more for a beachside junior suite upon arrival to the property I was informed I would be issued a garden view and beachside does not mean you will be able to see the water just that the room faces that direction.

I also requested my two rooms be connecting or close to each other instead they booked us into two separate villas over 100 yards from each other. To correct the staff worked overnight to find us two rooms next to each other in the same villa. However, it required I move out of my room by 11am and was not able to move into the other room until 10pm. That's almost 12 hours without a room and all of us crammed into one room.

Rooms were not cleaned instead they were just tidied up. The first room we checked into still had a razor and soap in the shower. Daily our room was straightened up but not cleaned. The baby had an accident on the bed, instead of changing the cover they flipped it over. I really tried to give them grace given our stay was only 6 months following a major hurricane.

They charged us full price but only gave us half service. Property is not handicap or elderly friendly, no elevators, long walks to restaurants or rooms, golf carts seem to only run to move luggage of guests checking in/out. Food was subpar, there is a disconnect between concierge and the restaurants, 4 out of 5 days my dinner reservations were wrong. JUST A BAD TIME!! Do not waste your money.

Property nice - staff worst in any of our travels. Unfriendly and rude. Refused to fix a tv entire stay. Sales pitch at beginning that took hours. Sales manager cursed using F word - ridiculous! Specifically treat Expedia customers as second class citizens noting around every corner “if only you were a direct customer …..” will not return.

Overall, the resort was great. They have done great at rebuilding from the hurricane. Most staff were friendly. The restaurant service was a little frustrating as we had to get our own coffee and water at times in the restaurant. Major kudos to Kevon and Mario! Extremely friendly and on top of it at all times!

Room is good an clean but service is average. Fridge is supposed to be refilled everyday but we didn’t get water bottle refill for 2 days. Tv was not working, shower didn’t have shower gel or shampoo. Complained to the front desk but nothing happened. Property is huge. Restaurants are a hit or miss just like the staff. Some are kind and friendly but some have attitude and rude. Entertainment team is good. Good to visit once but wouldn’t visit this resort again.

Dear Hotel Manager,

I am very disappointed with my stay at your hotel. The tv in the room was not working, and the refrigerator was also not working. I reported these problems, but they were not fixed.

Most importantly, I have a handicapped son, and I specifically requested an accessible room. When we arrived, we were not given an accessible room, which made our stay very difficult and uncomfortable.

This is unacceptable, especially for a family with a disability. I am requesting a refund or compensation for these issues.

There is nothing 5 star about this property. Is an old old old property that needs major renovation. It was one problem after another, rooms smell of mildew and bleach. And management expects you to stay in that. We didn’t get our room until 10 pm after checking at 3 pm.They will not compensate for all the inconvenience we experienced.
The safe didn’t work, the phone, sink drain, I could go on & on. Pay more & stay elsewhere.

I apparently accidentally booked my room with just one adult and because it was all exclusive. They said we couldn’t check in. My room in a suite on the ocean front for a very reasonable rate. They said to add my husband to the room that I already paid for, he had to pay 3 times the amount since it was last minute. I understand that it is all inclusive, but the charge should have been half of what I paid, not three times the amount. It took 2 hours to check in and we had to just book another room. Then we couldn't get a reservation for dinner as they shut that off at 3:30pm and you must be check in to make a reservation. The food ended up being overcooked and took a long time. Cannot recommend this place.

We arrived first room, shower was moldy and safe was broken. We then upgraded to ocean view, but they did not receive our confirmation from Expedia, so they keep us waiting, even though I had the copy of the email. Ruined are whole day. After my wife lost it, they gave us a room. The air conditioning was broken, the safe was locked, two pillows for three guests, two toweled also, no drinks in the fridge. This went on all night, constant knocking at the door to supply these items. The AC needed to be taken apart, so it took 24 hrs to fix. Besides that are day three everything kind of got fixed. Now I lost two days of my vacation.

We stayed on the lady Hamilton side but whatever side you stay on you share all restaurants, pools, beaches and amenities..my family of 4 (2adults + 2kids) absolutely loved our 10 night stay over january 2026. The staff was attentive and friendly, the resort was gorgeous! Honestly we went to negril for a day trip to ricks cafe and we drove by some of the other resorts and hotels but i have to say ours was the best. Its a massive resort with plenty to do for adults and kids. Food was fantastic as well! Well worth the money!

We had such a wonderful time in Jamaica!!! I was definitely a bit concerned going so soon after a category 5 hurricane but the country is still beautiful. The hotel didn't have much visible damage and the visual damage was actively being repaired. The staff was amazing! So kind and accommodating! The DJs and bartenders are dope, the food was good lots of variety...and its buffet food so don't expect the best Jamaican food you've ever but thats expected. The beaches are not quite what I expected but it's still a beach... It's not a 5 star resort so don't expect that but its def a vibe.

I am writing to formally complain and demand a full refund for my reservation, as the accommodation provided was completely different from what I paid for and confirmed through your website.

I clearly booked and paid for Grand Palladium Lady Hamilton – Ocean View King Room, at a rate of $108 per night for a single room. However, upon arrival, I was not accommodated at Lady Hamilton at all. Instead, I was placed in the connected Grand Palladium Jamaica hotel, in a Double Queen room, which is an entirely different room category and hotel.

To be absolutely clear:
• I did not receive the hotel I booked
• I did not receive the room type I booked (King bed vs Double Queen)
• I did not receive the ocean view category promised
• The room provided had significantly inferior conditions and amenities

I escalated this issue directly with the hotel management, and they confirmed that your website is responsible for issuing a full refund, as the service delivered does not match the confirmed reservation and constitutes a clear breach of contract and misrepresentation.

I therefore formally request:
A full refund of all charges paid for this room, effective immediately.

Please note that I have documentation, booking confirmation, payment records, and hotel confirmation of the mismatch. If this matter is not resolved promptly, I will have no choice but to escalate it further through my credit card provider and relevant consumer protection channels.

We have stayed at this place 4 times now and every time it is amazing. The rooms are nice, the ammenities are great. The price is realistic for the experience you receive. The only thing i would say is some of the staff just seem unhappy to be at work, everytime we stay there this has been the case. Highly recommend this hotel experience to anyone looking for a great all inclusive resort.

My only recommendation is that they need to have the shuttle that goes to and from the rooms every 5 minutes, we had to be waiting long periods to get the lobby from our rooms. When we were checking out , we call for bell man and 15 minutes no one showed up, we had to walk all the way to the car parking lot up the hill pulling the luggage…

The property and room was clean. No antenna service for the televisions in the rooms but there was tv in the sports bar. All the staff I encountered was friendly and helpful. Something I wasn’t aware of is the amount of walking from the villas to food/entertainment. There are shuttles available upon request. The solicitation by travel club concierge (timeshare) was a bit too much. The Signature side is still under repair so no guest stayed on that side but you still have access to the other amenities.

Keeping all things in perspective and acknowledging the island just experienced Hurricane Melissa, I will say their were some things that could have been better or we could have been notified up front.

I reserved a Beach Side Ocean View room on the Lady Hamilton side (No Kids), and upon arrival was told it was closed and not receiving guests, I had to stay on the Jamaica side. The front desk did their best to accommodate us, but certain requests could not be met. There were definitely a number of crying kids. Our TV never worked, the mini bar was not stocked. We had to call twice, it took a few hours. Then the next night when they came to restock it, they realized it wasn't plugged in.

There were plenty of food options all things considered, but you can tell the chef was getting creative and trying to utilize what they had, so some traditional dishes weren't prepared as they typically would be.

The staff were great, they were engaging.
However, the upselling of vacation packages can be a bit much. People paid to relax, not be bombarded by salespeople. We did not enjoy that aspect.

Also, we tried to book spa services, but there was no availability, yet they send you messages everyday to book spa time.

It's a great location if you want to stay on the resort and just relax, but I don't know that I will be back again. I will say, they are working 7 days a week to rebuild and get things "back to normal" and I am sure things will be up and running again soon.

The hotel was absolutely beautiful and the food was the best food I have ever ate at a hotel. As someone who travels regularly and traveled there for my anniversary I feel like the resort did nothing to acknowledge the day. I felt like once we declined to attend the resorts presentation they did not want to provide hospitality to me and my husband. I paid extra for the signature side and the staff were not hospitable. We also paid for dinner on the beach and it was one of the worst ones we had it was poorly lit in an extremely isolated area and not worth the money. I would come back for a vacation but not for a celebration.

We just got back from our vacation here. While our vacation was not ruined, I would not go back to this resort.

The food was not great at all. I’ve had better food at different Jamaican resorts.

The staff’s pleasantness was extremely hit or miss. We had some great servers at the steakhouse, the Jamaican restaurant, the Asian restaurant, and the pool bar, but other bartenders and servers were unpleasant.

Our mini fridge never got restocked. I called for housekeeping to bring us some stuff and they never showed up.

A couple we were with went without AC for over 30 hours before the hotel decided to do anything. Only after several complaints did the hotel finally move their room.

Everyone got steadily harassed about booking the spa.

The pool was amazing, and we spent a lot of our time there. The drinks were good. The activities the hotel had and shows they put on were entertaining.

A lot of inconveniences, not just for us, but for everyone out of our group of ten. I love Jamaica, but there are much better places to stay.

I recently stayed at this resort and overall, the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming — they truly made us feel comfortable during our stay. However, there were several areas that could use improvement to make the experience more enjoyable for families and adults alike.
Coming from the U.S., I was surprised by the number of strict rules, especially regarding activities for children. For example, the video game area required kids to be at least 13 years old to play without a parent. My son is 11 and already very familiar with these types of games, so that rule felt unnecessarily restrictive.
The pool and beach closing at 6:30 p.m. also limited the fun, especially since most guests are on vacation and want to enjoy the evening hours. After those amenities closed, there weren’t many other engaging options available, so we often ended up staying in our room — which wasn’t ideal for a resort experience.
The buffet food was great for the first few days, but later in the week it seemed less fresh — some items looked dried out and even the bread was hard. On the other hand, the restaurant menus were much better and offered delicious options.
The resort did provide evening shows, which were entertaining, but not everyone is interested in watching dance performances every night. The property is outdated and could use a little more modern updates. Our air went out two of the days we were there. Though several buildings were down they worked diligently to get it fixed. The air was damp and it smelled like mildew. The staff was very polite and accommodating. There were a some roaches as well as a lot of cats.

I visited in August for my birthday. I tried to make arrangements in advance to lock in so i wouldn't have to not have the experiences i wanted to celebrate my birthday. I communicated through the app for bookings. Confirmed join arrival. The day of my birthday nothing went according to my plan. Bookings all of a sudden were no longer confirmed. My birthday was ruined and no attempt at making it right the day of. I had to have my experiences the next day. Very disappointing to say the least. I've visited this resort several times but this time was the worst. I won't be booking this resort any longer. Nice for first time trippers but once you're used to certain luxuries this resort misses the mark.

Beware don't stay here this place will rob you we stayed 6days and it was pure hell first day. The lock was not working. We was stuck outside for hours sweating finally they came and fixed the lock. Then the next day the AC went out we were sweat and sweat and sweat until we went up to the front desk and got help now we're leaving. Someone went in our room robbed us for a $400 each beats headphones. I had them clipped on to my traveling bag and it was me and my fiancé. We look to see if we had them there we had two and they robbed us. They took our neck pillows to travel. We called the front desk. They said they will call security. We never seen security the next morning. We had to check out. We told them that we was very disappointed that the security number arrived. They call security right then and there and they knew we had to leave 10 minutes or shadow was coming to pick us up to take us to the airport they came and they told me why didn't I lock my headphones in the safe and I told them why should I do that? I travel all over and never in my life had this problem don't stay there they open your safe. It's not safe. They know the combination that you're putting in them safe read your reviews before you book. Don't book in that resort. Food is horrible. People are rude. They don't care about you. I'm so disappointed, but this doesn't stop for me because I am gonna take this higher. Nobody steals for me and get away with it.
