Very clean and comfortable room. Staff helpful and friendly. Very crowded pool area with people smoking and drinking alcohol at breakfast so for this reason I would not consider returning.

We only had one night here. Staff were very friendly. Hotel in quiet location and easy walk to restaurants and shops. Room are quite old and dated. Nice pool and good breakfast.

Small hotel in quiet area.

We stayed for a week in mid October and found the hotel rather under occupied. This was good in one way because this allowed plenty of pool and patio area to choose from. We really enjoyed the chill out music streamed to the bar and pool area. Unfortunately there didn't seem to be enough bar/restaurant staff and they were challenged to be in two places at once at times. However, the staff were friendly and attentive. Nice hotel for couples who want a quiet and restful holiday. Room was a nice size with an efficient air conditioning unit. Storage was a bit lacking, a set of drawer units would have made a big difference. Was very happy to find a fridge in the room big enough to store plenty of cold drinks. Unhappy to discover there was no tea/coffee making facility in the room although looking back, this wasn't a facility promised.
The big dissapointment for us was lack of wifi. Apparently there was a problem and the engineer had been called, but nothing was available all week.
I'd say the hotel is 4 star not 5 star.

Lovely hotel

Wonderful stay in a very relaxing hotel. Having been in Greece many times I am delighted to say that this was a marked improvement on the general hotel standard. Spotlessly clean and a very relaxed atmosphere. Would recommend to anyone seeking a relaxing break.

Happy to recommend this hotel.

Small to medium hotel( 5 star by Crete standards nearer 4 by what I am used to elsewhere in Europe ) Set back from the noise and bustle of the main roads in Sissi it is nonetheless within easy walking distance of all amenities beaches, shops, restaurants etc. Sissi also gives easy access by car to lots of places of interest. Friendly and helpful staff, high standards of cleanliness. We had a very comfortable room and thoroughly enjoyed our week long stay. We chose B&B as we wanted to experience the good local restaurants but when we did have a day lounging beside the hotel pool we had a very good lunches from the bar menu ( coffee from the bar is good too) Hotel had a mixture of nationalities and was full when we stayed did not feel crowded - there was never a problem getting a sun lounger!

Excellent Service

Everything about the place was wonderful. The only gripe I had was that the door handle on room 115 is too close to the frame and I would hurt my finger every time I tried to open it from the outside, but design errors aside, everything else was great. The room was clean and comfortable, the bathroom spacious and finished to a high standard. The reception area, pool and bar were all nicely interconnected and accessible. I would loved to have stayed longer. A car would be required. There is parking around the area even though the hotel doesn't have an off street car park. The evening buffet was ok, if somewhat limited and isn't something I could do every evening if I were to have stayed longer. Left before breakfast so not sure of the standard. Overall, a good place to stay.

Would recommend hotel for a quiet holiday. Room was as described, read a lot on tripadvisor that food was not up to standard agree not 5 star but perfectly satisfactory, breakfast was very good and plenty of it and we did take advantage of the evening meal. Pools looked nice but would be better heated especially at end of season. Drinks were a little expensive, as with most hotels. Would recommend that you hire a car as Sissi is very quiet and it was nice to drive around.

sissi- a must-si!!!

sissi is gorgeous and just what we wanted in our holiday! the hotel, apart from the slightly aging baths, gave us excellent service, peace and quiet and you know...if you read other comments they say the food was bad, but we liked the food and it definitely had us coming back for more!
location excellent...a short stroll down the road into the peaceful town which is a world away from the shabby horrendous towns to the west where its ok to be loud and drunk and well...unpleasant!
this is a must visit for those of you who prefer a bit of calm! food in the village/ town is plentiful and so much to choose from! i have never eaten so much JUST so i could try it all!
at the hotel there is a smaller pool set back from the main area...if you are quick and observant you can claim it for your own like we did and it becomes your own private relaxation pool as if noone else is there! perfect!
go! just go!!!!!

Food, water, and views

If you like good and interesting food, warm water to swim in, and unbelievable mountain views, then the Northern coast of Crete is really excellent. To get the most out of the area, one needs a car, but even so, the local food, water and views are pretty good. We had lunch in a mountain village Taverna every day, and at least two swimming sessions! Our longer journeys took in the South and Eastern coast areas which were very interesting, and also included good food and swimming.
A bit hot for us during August (32 to 41C) - but it survivable. The locals are friendly and made us very welcome.

Hideen gem in Sissi

Stayed recently in this Hotel with family , ( 5 year old and 20 weeks old baby ) before mvoing onto a villa for the rest of the holiday . Was very pleasantly surprised . Suspect its a bit of hidden gem . Modern hotel , with good sized family pool , very open reception area and bar area . We had a family room which was excellent , great size , high ceilings , very comfortable and with a balcony giving a sea and pool view. We were full board and found the quality and variety of food to be very good with a reasonable selection for kids too. Food is served buffet style. The two English members of staff were very helpful and attentive . The hotel is handily placed to discover the rest of Sissi ,its an easy 10 minutes walk to the port and water side restaurants , of which there are plenty to chose from, all with fantastic views of the sunset. We particularly enjoyed Mama Mia. Only thing is its easy to miss the hotel on first arriving in Sissi ,its about 100m past the book shop and in line with the splendidly restored church . If coming back to this part of Crete we would certainly use this hotel again.

Nice comfortable place to stay in Crete

My wife and I went for 3 weeks in this localy rated 5 star hotel. about a 40 minutes drive from Heraklion. First we drove passed the hotel, since it is hidden from the street by a brick wall. The income hall is beautiful and clean. To the right we saw the nice pool and the patio of the bar and restaurant. From the patio you could see the whole modernly designed white buidling and the wall (hidden by plants from the inside) gave a nice privacy to the complex. A very friendly clerc checked us in and lead us to our room at the 1st floor. The hotel does not have a direct view of the sea, but if you lean over the balcony, you can see it. The room gave view on the pool area. It had a big size and a very nicely decorated bathroom. The only problem we discovered was the vibration of the airco in a mobile wall plate, which bothered me at night. I complained about it, and they let us change rooms without any problem. So for the rest of our stay, we stayed in top of the suites with private pool, which is a very calm area of the hotel. Exactly what we were looking for. The food on breakfast buffet was ok. The staff had their hands full, as only two people had to serve all guests, but they were friendly and helpfull. Fresh fruit could always be asked and they would bring it to the table. Diner buffet was pretty variable. plenty of dishes to choose from. Quality wise, we would rather give it a 3 or 4 star in international terms. Over all we had a really relaxing and nice time there.

Very pleasant hotel but definitely not 5* standard

Definitely worth upgrading to a deluxe room. Standard rooms are very basic and far from 5* more like 3*. Food was average but certainly not 5*. The hotel should serve decent coffee at breakfast and fresh juice. Overall a very nice hotel. I hope they maintain and improve because it has the potential.

Great - a perfect break - hotel is lovely - make sure you stay in the main building though and not the standard rooms, which are OK, but the main hotel is wonderful. Staff very friendly and helpful. Food is good - better than we thought, given the poor reviews.

This hotel is a 5 stars, but looks like a 3 stars, is far from the shops and tavernas, also not only 250 m from the beach. The beach is so small and has only a bit of sand and lots of stones. I won't recommend you Sissi at all.

Great hotel

The hotel is just beautiful and a great place to stay. The staff is extremely nice and helpful. We went in the beginning of May and it was very quiet with only a few more guests by the end of the week it was beginning to get busier. I read some reviews before going and definitely agree that hiring a car and staying just bed and breakfast is the best option. I don't think that the breakfast was the best I ever had but was ok, we just got a bit frustrated sometimes with how long it would take to replace stuff, but it got better by the end of the week. I would definitely recommend this hotel for couples or groups. I enjoyed the quiet and relaxed atmosphere.

Très bel hotel à taille humaine

Fuyez les hotels-usines crêtois pour le vrai luxe !
Très bel hôtel moderne et bien équipé (piscine, sauna, hammam, gym, ...).
Personnel très serviable et sympathique.
Bon buffet de petit déjeuner.
La petite plage de Sissi ou le port et ses restaurants à moins de 10mn à pieds.
En résumé, nous avons passé 3 nuits excellentes dans cet hôtel.

Excellent ! Personnel très chaleureux et attentifs

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour dans cet hôtel !
Tout d'abord l'emplacement : il se situe dans une charmante petite ville loin de toute la cohue des grandes villes et à quelques minutes des plages ! C'était idéale pour se reposer la journée et profiter des festivités le soir en allant dans les villes voisines !
Mention spéciale pour le personnel, qui a était très chaleureux et très attentif à notre confort ! Une vrai relation c'est installée, c'était très agréable de ne pas se sentir comme des n° de chambre !
Je le recommande vraiment !

Lieu décevant. Village isolé, sans originalité.

Le plus : Ma chambre 301 était située au dessus du bar et de la piscine. J'ai demandé à changer de chambre car impossible de dormir avant minuit. Le réceptionniste m'a gentiment fait déménager pour une chambre plus calme.

Les moins : L'hotel n 'est pas situé, contrairement à ce qu'indique le site Expédia, à Agios Nikolas, mais dans un tout petit village bien avant, à Sissi.
Dans la chambre 301, le vidage de la baignoire était cassé. Une toute petite TV pour un hôtel dit 5*.
Pas de transport pour aller voir ailleurs par exemple, Agios Nikolaos = 50 € le taxi aller-retour.
Le Wifi n'a fonctionné continuellement ni dans la chambre 301, ni dans la chambre 216. J'ai Mac, je n'ai jamais de problème de Wifi.
Quant au petit déj, il était spartiate, sans grand choix, mal présenté. J'y suis allée un fois. Par la suite, j'ai préféré acheter des yaourts et petit-déjeuner à mes frais dans ma chambre. La plage est très éloignée…..!!!!

Eine Woche in der Luxus-Suite, mit Jacuzzi in der Badewanne, Extra Bett und einem wirklich schönem Zimmer.
Das Zimmer wurde in einem sehr sauberen Zustand vorgefunden, es gibt eine kleine Minibar und TV mit deutschen Sendern. Man hat auch die Möglichkeit, mitgebrachte DVDs abzuspielen. Der Balkon mit Blick auf den Poolbereich und auf die schöne Kirche war sehr schön. Das Personal ist superfreundlich und sehr entgegenkommend. Selbst nach dem Auschecken durften wir uns den ganzen Tag noch im Hotel aufhalten und konnten uns vor der Abreise noch Duschen. Toller Service !

Un bon 3 étoiles,on est + proche d'une résidence d

e vacances que d'un 5 étoiles. Cet hôtel n'est pas du tout un 5 étoiles comme il prétend l'être. Le buffet n'est pas du tout à la hauteur. Tout est en supplément, on vous refuse même une carafe d'eau plate. C'est le seul endroit de Sissi où l'on vous demande encore un supplément pour l'accès au Wifi. En revanche il est très bien situé, le staff est vraiment sympa et serviable, c'est un hôtel calme (c'est ce que nous recherchions) et idéal pour y passer des vacances en famille. Il est tout près du centre de Sissi, tout en étant au calme. Tout est propre.

Restauranten og madens kvalitet er mere gennemsnitlig.

Omgivelserne i Sissi er ikke fantastiske. Dog en glimrende sandstrand ca. 10 minutters gang fra hotellet.

Angela Suites Boutique Hotel à Sisi : largement recommandé !!

Nous sommes arrivées à l'hôtel le soir vers 22h. Nous avons été très bien accueillies par le personnel de l'hôtel. La chambre était très belle et propre (ainsi que la salle de bain). De manière générale, les locaux étaient propres (le ménage est fait tous les jours), le personnel de l'hôtel est accueillant et très sympa, l'alimentation est TRES diversifiée et surtout un régal (Il y en a pour tous les goûts) !! C'est un hôtel que je recommande à tout ceux qui souhaitent visiter les alentours de Malia, d'Heraklion à Agios Nikolaos, et même jusqu'à Ierapetra et la superbe île de Chrissi !! Nous n'avons pas du tout été déçues, le cadre était magnifique...

Angela Suites Boutique Hotel-Una sistemazione di lusso al prezzo di un tre stelle

Non credevo di trovare una sistemazione di questo livello a questo prezzo: la suite era davvero una... suite. Nuovissima, spaziosa ( il divano letto avrebbe permesso di soggiornare comodamente in 4) fornita addirittura di vasca idromassaggio, accappatoi, ciabatte, balcone, aria condizionata, minibar, comodissimo da usare come frigo per eventual acquisti. C'era anche la TV LCD, ma il satellite non prendeva nessun programma in italiano, quindi non l'abbiamo utilizzata. Casomai non tutte le suites fossero di questo tenore, segnalo il numero della mia, acquistata come "suite de luxe": è la 316. Il buffet serale compreso nel prezzo della camera è una vera e propria cena, con ottimi piatti caldi tipici della cucina cretese e ben cucinati, diversi ogni sera. La struttura è nuovissima, con 3 piscine di varia dimensione, palestra, l'area benessere. A 400 m circa dall'hotel si trova una delle spiagge più belle che ho visto a Creta, la minuscola caletta di Boufos, attrezzata di tutto punto. Unico neo dell'hotel: la direzione non accendeva l'aria condizionata nelle parti comuni, il che non guastava per la cena, servita in una sala aperta sul giardino e nel giardino stesso, quindi ben ventilata, ma rendeva poco fruibile la hall. Ottima sistemazione, al di sopra delle aspettative, per un rapporto qualità / prezzo assolutamente positivo.

Très bel hôtel design, à la décoration soignée. Les chambres "de luxe" dans le bâtiment principal sont magnifiques, confortables. Bel environnement extérieur et trois superbes piscines. Excellent rapport qualité/prix. A recommander.

l'hotel est très bien, moderne, mais si vous êtes dans le batiment annexe, les chambres sont plus vieilles et les salles de bain toutes petites pour un 5 étoiles. Le diner est assez cher.Aucune animation le soir
