We recently stayed at this hotel during our vacation in Greece. The best part of our experience was the staff – they were very friendly, helpful, and made us feel welcome.
Five star to Janis, he is excellent he goes above and beyond for clients.

That said, the hotel itself would benefit from some renovation, as the facilities feel a bit outdated. The restaurant could also use more attention to cleanliness.

Overall, the people made our stay enjoyable, but with some updates and improvements, this hotel could be much better.

The rooms and air conditioning are outdated and need renovation. The restrooms in the main area have an unpleasant smell, so adding air fresheners would help. The food is decent, but the plates and glasses are often dirty. On a positive note, I really appreciated how helpful and friendly the staff were.

Hotel needs a renovation. It is not like in pictures. It’s an old hotel with old decor, but it’s clean. Also, location is not the greatest. There is not much in the area unless you go to neighboring towns Sissi or Malia. Sissi is walkable, Malia is not. Beach is sandy but going into water, you’ll need water shoes. There are huge rocks in the water.

Amazing holiday experience at this hotel: super tasty food, extensive choice of drinks and cocktails, super attentive and welcoming staff. Cannot thank you enough: attention to all guests, all staff goes extra mile, excellent service. My mum had a birthday and a treat was waiting for her in the room. No request is a trouble for staff. Thank you very much!

Great atmosphere, friendly staff, very clean and good covid controls in place without making it overly intrusive. Guests overall were respectful of the covid rules making it pleasant and relaxed.
Rooms are a bit dated, but given that most time is spent outside, it did not matter to us.

Pleasant stay to relax

Overall our trip to the Meli palace was nice - the hotel grounds are very beautiful and well kept. My boyfriend and I went for 5 days, we are in our mid 20s and felt to be the youngest there (aside from kids) - mostly older couples and some families. Downside is there’s just one pool and the sea was a bit too rough to enter so we were a bit bored on some days, but if you like to chill by the pool and relax this is a nice place for you!

We had a wonderful 5-day stay at this hotel. The staff were particularly attentive and friendly, always checking to make sure we had everything we needed. The food was quite good and fresh, with enough variety and change each day so that we did not get bored. There were several decent options for the wine included, and they also had really nice paid ones that we treated ourselves to on our last night. The facilities were well taken care of, and there were many nice activities offered. The one aspect we were disappointed with was the kids club. While the young people working at the kids club were all lovely, I would have hoped for a more structured program where we could leave our 5 year old for a good part of the day. Even so, the whole family thoroughly enjoyed out stay. An additional piece of advice for families with kids would be to avoid the Happy Train tour which stops in front of the hotel. We personally found it long, hot and definitely not geared towards kids.

Couldn’t do more

I have just returned from a long weekend with 8 friends who I go away with every year. From the moment we arrived the staff were brilliant. They looked after us so well and were always so kind. From the welcome staff being so informative, to the waiting staff, who couldn’t do enough. The manager came over to say hello on our first night and was so attentive.

The food was very good and extensive as were the cocktails and being our 7th year away at an all inclusive was probably the best so far.

Thank you Grecotel Meli Palace for your attention to detail and your wonderful surprise for us. We will certainly be back to visit again.

Everything about this hotel is excellent. The staff couldn't be more helpful and nothing is too much trouble. All the facilities are very good, the food is also excellent, with a great variety. If their is any criticism it is about the rooms, which although spacious and clean, are quite basic.

Quiet, beachfront location, lovely staff

Just back from a wonderful stay at the Meli Palace. The staff are fantastic and food and facilities beyond expectations. Huge amount of choice of fresh local and international food options. Wide range of activities available if you want to take part but very unobtrusive if you don't. Walks along the coast to the palace at Malia and restaurants and shops in Sissi (both 2-3kms) Can't wait to return.

This is an amazing all inclusive property. For it's age,it is well maintained and is currently in the process of renovating the rooms. Now they do look dated but are very clean. The staff is trained or in training in the hospitality industry and they are excellent Food and beverage were wonderful and if we were not there for wedding events , we would not have left the property.

I will start with a small review about the hotel. It is absolutely amazing, the facilities are wonderful. Almost all of the staff were helpful (there was a woman on the reception who didn't have any concept of distance... 25 minute walk to Malia?! 1 hour, anyway, I digress) the hotel was clean and welcoming. The hotel was mainly German and Russian people, not an issue really we didn't come to make new friends in England, we have enough of those as it is! However there was a nice man from the Netherlands who was friendly. The entertainment was about as cringy and amazing as we had hoped, the couples night was very funny. The fire show and the glass was both horrifying and spectacular. The pool was magnificent and the beach was great. The food was outstanding and both my girlfriend and I ate far more than we thought physically possible and became friends with the guy and gal who cook the pasta fresh in front of you. The absolute best part of the entire holiday for me was, Kostas! The barman. He is an absolute wizard on the bar and I would very much like him to come to Brighton next time and make me a piña colada. I did a little bit of maths and worked out I had about 10-12 litres of piña colada over the course of a boozy week. He was very friendly and his English was good. If he doesn't receive a raise immediately I will take it as a personal insult. He was the best member of staff I've been served by.

Cela fait plus de 10 ans que je vais dans des complexe touristique dans tout le monde et clairement j’ai trouver que cette hôtel est au dessus du lot .
Magnifique complexe, personnel super agréable et au Top! Nourriture de haute qualité avec un accueil des plus agréable.
Ils ont un entretien hygiénique comme je n’ai jamais vue !
Je tenais à remercier toutes l’équipe qui font un travail extraordinaire et plus particulièrement Monsieur Yanniss qui est humainement incroyable .
j’espère y revenir dès mes prochaines vacances.

- Bereits beim Frühstück ist aufgefallen, dass Geschirr und Besteck teils dreckig waren. Die Auswahl des Buffets war überschaubar, nicht besonders zufriedenstellend.
- Das Hotel macht generell einen abgenutzten Eindruck.
- Es gibt nicht genügend Poolliegen und auch Liegen am Strand im Schatten sind stark begrenzt, weshalb die Menschen die Liegen schon vor 8 Uhr morgens reservieren. Wir hatten keine Chance auf einen Schattenplatz.
- Die angebotenen Cocktails, Longdrinks und Softdrinks schmecken künstlich und sind somit nicht genießbar.
- Das Zimmer, das wir erhalten haben war alt, dreckig und Möbel sowie Türen und Wände defekt/ abgenutzt. Es lagen Haare im Badezimmer und es wurde nicht richtig geputzt. Das Bett ähnelt einem Feldbett, was nicht für Komfort spricht. Die Einrichtung des Zimmers ist sperrlich. Die Handtücher alle dreckig, sodass wir nach neuen Handtüchern baten.
- Es folgte ein Gespräch mit der Managerin und damit verbunden ein Zimmerwechsel, jedoch erst auf dem darauffolgenden Tag. Die Managerin war sehr freundlich und zeigte großes Verständnis für unsere Situation.
- Das neue Zimmer bietet mehr Platz und das Bett ist etwas komfortabler. Der Zustand des Zimmers jedoch ebenfalls unzufriedenstellend. Es ist abgenutzt, teils kaputt und dreckig. Im Badezimmer sind Ameisen. Auch hier befinden sich fremde Haare im Badezimmer.
- Ein sehr schlimmes Erlebnis: ein Kissen roch stark nach Schweiß, sodass es nicht nutzbar war. Das hat einen großen Ekel verursacht und di

Wir waren als Familie 1 Woche in der Unterkunft. Die Pools und das Meer und auch die gemeinschaftlichen Anlagen waren sehr schön. Die Zimmer an sich sind sehr alt und eher unschön. Das Personsl ist außergewöhnlich freundlich. Das Essen war gut und es gab sehr viel Auswahl.

Von außen ist die Hotelanlage sehr gut und sehr schön. Von innen war zwar alles sauber, aber zu sehr in die Jahre gekommen. Das Hotel muss dringend renoviert werden. Mit einer schöneren, gemütlicheren Einrichtung der Zimmer wäre das Hotel hervorragend. Denn sonst passt alles. Super Personal, sehr gutes Essen, man kann sich sehr gut erholen.

Bellissima struttura, staff disponibile, il buffet sempre vario e molto abbondante, spuntini e bevande illimitate( anche alcoliche) e l'hotel offre molti servizi extra tra escursioni e noleggio di qualsiasi tipo di mezzo per spostarsi.
Complessivamente siamo stati molto bene ma ho qualche nota negativa:
- Le camere sono datate rispetto al resto della struttura;
- Il mare ha un fondale algoso, quindi se è agitato salgono tutte a galla e l'acqua a riva diventa marrone. L'ultima settimana di agosto è stato sporco di alghe e agitato per tutto il tempo.
- Nei dintorni non c'è quasi nulla e occorre noleggiare un'auto per girare. Risparmiatevi il giro nel trenino che è veramente squallido.

The best was the personell as well as the food and beach. The Entertainment Programm is a bit over the top. There could be more Programm like acoustic Guitar, soft Music so that one have their Programm and other guests can enjoy their peace during holiday. Every day is too much.
Nevertheless the personell tried to be helpful and always looking for a solution.
All in all we had an enjoyable yet not too peaceful vacation.

It was all very good. The personal is awesome and the food was realy good.
The room was super clean and very nice.
The kids pool had no shade and no toys for the kids. Also did the entertainers not let our 15 month old play at the kids disco, this was sad because she did like it a lot.

Le staff est très à l'écoute et très attentionné.
La nourriture est variée et délicieuse.
L'hôtel est au calme et le bâtiment est spacieux.

Les points négatifs:
Les chambres doivent être rafraichies et modernisées.
Mauvaise connection WI-FI sauf au lobby.
Pas de verroux aux WC de la plage
La salle de sport ouvre seulement à 10h30
Checkout à 11h au lieu de midi
Trop de cailloux et de rochers à la plage

La posizione dell'hotel rispetto al mare è molto buona:la piccola baia di fronte all'hotel è perfetta per lo snorkeling e il nuoto. La profondità è piuttosto bassa quindi tutti possono nuotare comodamente. A disposizione degli ospiti c'è una canoa e un pedalò.
Importante: per godersi al meglio la baia sono necessarie le scarpette da scoglio
L'hotel è un po' isolato, quindi è meglio avere un'auto, soprattutto se avete intenzione di visitare altre spiagge/siti storici
Abbiamo trovato uno staff molto cordiale e la
qualità dei pasti offerti è molto buona (cucina semplice,ingredienti sempre freschi e di qualità).
Gli ospiti erano principalmente composto da famiglie, il che rende un luogo ideale per una vacanza tranquilla e rilassante.
La nostra camera era pulita con un bel balcone.
Punti da migliorare : i mobili della stanza erano parecchio datati (non vale per tutte le camere)
La struttura non è molto grande anche se ben organizzata, quando gira a pieno regime potrebbe risultare un po' affollata.

E' stata senza dubbio una delusione, faccio un paio di esempi banali: palestra a pagamento e mancanza totale di cose banali come il balsamo. Inoltre il cibo era davvero terribile. Non lo consiglio ad italiani.

J’ai aimé le personnel très professionnel, gentil et très attentif, on se sent important et en vacances
L’hotel Est mignon, sobre, très bien maintenu, très propre, avec un jardin magnifique mais nous a semblé trop « petit », non en taille mais en équipements et services proposés : il manque de diversité en bars et restaurant. Au bout de quelques jours on a vite fait le tour avec le seul resto et bar, qui sont souvent pleins et où il faut attendre une place.
La nourriture est bonne et variée même si les fruits et pâtisseries proposés sont médiocres et à améliorer.
L’hotel A une toute petite plage ou la mer est souvent pas belle. Il se trouve aussi loin de tout, on est obligé de prendre des taxis pour se déplacer. Faudrait peut être organiser des navettes gratuites vers les villes les plus proches.
L’animation le soir est qualitative et variée mais finit trop tôt, faudrait penser à d´autres types d’animations et pas que pour les enfants.
La piscine est trop petite à mon goût et pas digne d’un 4 étoiles mais propre et surveillée
