Nice resort. It’s on a beach but not a swim able beach. Most of the staff was friendly. Resort is 10mins ride from Ao Nang beach and town. The have one restaurant on site but there are a few on the beach that are walkable. Onsite scooter rental was a good feature but they will keep your passport.

The property and hospitality was amazing, as was our family villa.

My major concern was employee food handling. We had 3 smoothies made and I happened to be at the bar while they were bejng prepared. I watched our bartender blend them, put a spoon in to taste it, put the spoon in his mouth, and then put the spoon back into our smoothies. Yuck!

Aside from that, staff were attentive, lovely and exceeded our expectations.

The massage place across the street was also fantastic and priced very well.

The rooms were clean. However, From the pictures posted on Expedia to what the rooms actually looked like we're very different. The beach front was pretty but again not what it looked like online. From our room the doors were very thin and we could hear everything going on in the halls. We didn't feel it was a four star hotel as advertised, we also recognised that every location has a different standard of hotel. We are grateful it was clean.

The hotel is quite outdated, the beach is not nice and you cannot swim in it. The buffet for breakfast has very few breakfast items. I understand that we are in Thailand, but if you are to cater to tourist, you need to have a few more breakfast choices and the patio so I could use some new tablecloths and chairs. Some of the staff are friendly but not all.

Room and hotel just seemed a little dated with lots and clutter around the property. Room was clean and especially the bathrooms were nice and seemed to have been updated. Our bathroom’s water heater went out on the last night and couldn’t get the water heater running again that night so hopefully someone can get it going again. They did give us new towels but didn’t replace the wash rags or the hand towels after the first day, just the regular towels. We had plenty of waters which was nice cause it was so hot.
We had free breakfast which was nice that included the omelet bar and all the rest of the continental breakfast. Good selection but the same stuff every day so those of you looking for some variety might need to plan ahead.

Dinner menu was great but not free.
Staff was super friendly with any of our needs. They even gave my wife a little birthday cake to our room as a surprise when I asked if they had anything special for birthdays. Huge bonus!!

Overall, the building we were in, building three was closer to the street which made it super noisy. They were doing construction as well which doubled the noise. At times the outdoors had a bad odor of sewage walking from the lobby to our building. Staff was great tho.

We had an enjoyable experience here but I will add the rooms are far from four star. I would say more like 2 to 3 star. The grounds are beautiful. The pool is nice.

The beachfront out of the hotel really is useless. You can’t swim there as there are many large rocks that are just under the surface at high tide. That is why the pictures look so beautiful. But having said that the pool and lounging areas are very nice so it wasn’t a big deal for us.

The beds and bedding were a lower quality definitely not four star.

The location is a ฿300 cab ride away from Ao nang which will provide you all the shopping beach time and nightlife you require. It’s a very fun place.

The breakfast was great. For evening entertainment they had a Lone guitarist that was quite good as well.

I like the hotel, but because of the rooms I would not stay there again

pictures of the area surrounding hotel are better than it actually appears, no really swimmable sea was my biggest disappointment and definitely far away not turquoise water as pictured. OK breakfast. new year dinner was amazing and outstanding. super relaxed vibe and everything is cozy and close by. exterior is rather outdated. i wouldn't stay here again but with the right expectations it could work out better. few nice beach cafes 3-5 mins walking along the beach. villa is basic as pictured, updated interior and good size wise. stuff is cooperating.

I had a fantastic time between 2 jobs staying at this resort hotel. Staff is amazing.
Food is excellent, everything is shiny clean. Big room with huge balcony. Shuttle to Ao Nang beach and shops all day.

Only suggestion I would make to them would be carpet in the corridors.Would reduce noise from door closing and guests walking around at 2:00 AM.

Not a problem for me since I always carry earplugs when travelling. I slept like baby. I will certainly return.

Reception staff severely lack an understanding to service customers, poor english and lack of inititive to offer options for tours and transport to local areas. When i enterted the beach, I cut my feet and hands, staff offered no assistance for First Aid other than offer my partner a first aid kit, when asked for an incident / hazard report they did not understand what they were. Management need to review there Policies and Proedures and internal training before they can consider marketing Villa Cha Cha as a creditable Resort. In the meantime, my partner attended to my immediate medical needs and I will try and seek local medical attention if I can find a doctor.

I feel like the people at villa chacha were amazing. My only problem was I was not originally given the room I had paid for which they corrected after the second night and it wasn’t their fault I was charged twice when everybody else was charged in my group and was given a room that was way in the back and I had centipedes falling on my head in the middle of the night so I would write this place as perfect except stay away from room 316 I don’t think they had used it in a while and the room in front of it was just a storage area after two nights I was given the room. I thought I was getting I would just suggest booking directly because sorry Expedia booking all of them charge way more and if you find a price online and you call them, they will match it. I was literally paying twice what my friends were paying.

Worst ever check in experience - We arrived at the hotel on 31 Dec 2024 at around 9 am from airport. The check-in time is 2 pm, so we requested for an early check-in if possible. The receptionist advised us that she will notify us once the room was ready. We wandered around the hotel in the meantime and at around 1 pm, we came back to the reception area. The receptionist advised that the room was still not ready so we sat at the sofa in front of the reception as we were already exhausted. We waited till 2 pm and approached the reception and were then told that the room was ready. When we finally arrived at our room, we found cleaning staff in our room advising us that the room was not ready and that it will take another 20 minutes to clean. They informed us that they had been advised to clean the room just few minutes ago by the reception.
On-top of that when we inquired about some local things to pass time in the morning at the reception, the girls at Reception were rude and unhelpful with standard response \"I don't know\". The two rude girls then kept mumbling to each other in their language, while we are standing in front of them. We were the first to arrive that morning and the room could have definitely been made ready before the normal checkin time or atleast by the usual 2 pm checkin time, as we were told by the cleaners that there had been many early check outs that day.
No apology by the rude reception staff. Definitely never recommending this place ever again!

The picture in the website for the outside didn’t match the reality, staff was lovely and capable. But the room and bathroom we were staying were poorly design for the long stay I would say. Bathroom door couldn’t close and toilet position was awkwardly place as long with the shower. The surrounding from the beach and along the street ( not footpath for now but they are working on it) and unfortunately lots of lots of rubbish laying around.

Read whole review!! This property is beautiful. The room is nice, but beds are extremely hard and uncomfortable. Beware if you rent the scooters! We did and the person who rented it to us did not speak English, we signed nothing. My mom unfortunately, got in a minor accident. It was a very scary experience as they demanded money on the scene and no one spoke English to walk us through it. They ended up transporting my mom to the police station where the police officers continuously laughed at her and spoke again no English so we just sat there until I had to drive around Thailand to money currencies to get money to pay off the three parties for them to release my mother. The staff from the hotel that arrived at the rude and unhelpful literally yelled at me because she didn’t understand me. Please beware that there is no liability on the hotel if you rent a scooter and if something happens, they demand cash on the spot or they do not release you. These things should be explained to the renter. Overall, it was a very scary experience. The hotel staff did not care at all when I tried to explain it to them

The welcoming/reception staff are just great, especially Pond. The restaurant in the hotel offers a varoety of food. The hotel is beachfront, but please note that when it is low tide.

This hotel is beautifully landscaped with flora and fauna It is seated right on the seafront Unfortunately you cannot swim in the sea there but there are pools and plenty of sun lounges The hotel is about 5km from Ao Nang beach with the hotel providing a free shuttle to and fro this area
A special mention to the chef at the breakfast egg station for his cheery disposition and welcome in the morning- an important aspect of hospitality
Would recommend this hotel as away from noisy Ao Nang and consequently very relaxing

Villa Cha Cha was a beautiful hotel, however I would not stay there again. The service was terrible and almost no one spoke english. Also, there is no service at the pool. Villa Cha-Cha definitely a recommend resort to stay for vacation or honeymoon. The beach is the (best part) during the low tide! Trust me, is very romantic there, the surrounding is peaceful. 2 swimming pool with bar beside. This resort provide free shuttle services to Ao Nang Beach. This is a new hotel. Some part still not ready.
Always fully booked during perk period.
Have to check in on time before all room is taken up. And they might send you to nearby hotel but like a 2-3star simple hotel type.

I stayed there for 4 days.
The view from the room was great. Environment was quiet and calm.
Facing the sea is very relaxing.
Breakfast was ok. Don’t be too late, there might not have much left. Breakfast from 7-1030am.
Room condition is good. Just that kettle and hair dryer was missing.
There is a phone in the room but not connected yet. Therefore for each enquiry , have to walk to reception to ask about it. A little troublesome.
The bathroom need a little improvement.
the flow of the water into the drainage is not smooth. Many time , have to wait more than 30 min for the water to flow down. If not will flood the whole bathroom.

Welcome to the 80 ies! Was auf den ersten Blick sehr charmant wirkt stellt sich schnell als düstere Wahrheit heraus….möbel etc. alles Jahrzehnte alt! Die ganze Anlage ist eine einzige stolperfalle, schiefe Fliesen, unproportional hohe Stufen (Restaurant Pool! ) unfassbar rutschige Fliesen im gesamten Pool Bereich! Frühstück war extrem lieblos und unappetitlich angerichtet ( die Behältnisse wohl auch noch aus den 80 ern) aber nur am schlimmsten waren die Kellnerinnen- nie ein Lächeln auf den Lippen und arbeiten mit einer Geschwindigkeit die Schnecken erblassen lassen würden! Unsere Tochter bekam am abreisetag einen üblen Magen Darm Infekt und wir baten darum länger im Zimmer zu bleiben - wurde abgelehnt da sie angeblich ausgebucht wären!!! Meiner Meinung nach war dieses Hotel zu keiner Zeit zu mehr als 30% belegt!!! Absolute Frechheit! Ich würde diese Anlage um jeden Fall vermeiden! Sind für deutlich weniger gerade in einer Anlage auf ko Samui das sind Welten unterschied!

Meget behagelig hotell. Problemer som oppsto under oppholdet ble fikser med en gang. Vennelig og behjelpelig personale. Ligger litt utenfor sentrum, men meget lett og få transport, i tillegg til hotellets egen gratis transport. God mat på hotellet.
