I chose this hotel for as it was close to the Fiera (Padova Congress Centre). The Congress Centre is only a short walk away, but as other reviews have pointed out, this is in a more industrial area of Padova. However, it is further away from the city centre. At night, the buses stop quite early - just after 9pm- so if you're coming back from the city centre you have to walk down some very quiet streets which is not ideal. There are useful apps for taxis though, which can make the journey back from the city centre better- but they cost about 15 Euros. The walk from the railway station is along quite a busy road too.

Apart from that, rooms were very spacious, comfortable and contained a small fridge. The breakfast was good value for money too. Staff were very polite and helpful.

Great place in padua

This is a very convenient hotel for Padua. It's a little bit out from the centre but close to the station (20 minutes walk) and not too far from the Giotto chapel.
Breakfast is plentiful and regularly topped up.
Parking is fine, there's an underground car park, you do need to use your room card to open the entrance and exit gates though. Out room (double with single bed in separate room) was well sized, comfy beds and quiet.

My only issue is that the hotel is right next door to the major bus storage facility. The buses are backed into their spots with lots \"beep beep beep\" watching sounds all night! Diesel engines running as well.... As you can guess .. I got very little sleep, and I really wanted a good night sleep. That was the only problem. The staff was great

The location is good if you need to get to the train station but it was in an industrial location and not near to city center so I would not recommend this for exploring Padova.They switched the heat to air conditioner but the weather was cold so they had no heat in the room except a bit in the bathroom.I assume this was not a typical problem but our room was cold.

Newly refurbished, used as a base for a day trip to Venice (two nights). We had a triple room which consisted of an entry area/bedroom for our daughter which could be partitioned off so we could talk after she went to bed. Beds were comfortable, linen clean and crisp, shower large and hot. Staff very friendly and spoke excellent English. For the price it’s hard to find fault.

Great for the value

I went to Padua for a conference at the Padova Fiera. The hotel is conveniently close to it and the price is really good for the value. Very clean and cozzy room, staff was very helpful and friendly. Nice breakfast bar. Train station is accessible by bus that you can catch one block away from the hotel, but you can also walk, it is just 1 mile away. You can reach the downtown area by walking 25 minutes or catch a cab for less than 10 euros. Overall, very satisfied.

Cheap and close to train, but get what you pay for

This hotel is certainly an inexpensive option, especially compared to locations in Venice, but I'm not sure you're even getting what you pay for. The common areas were in decent shape and decently maintained. However, the room was extremely dated and could have used a deep clean. The carpet was matted so we kept our shoes on until we went to bed. Additionally, we found a few bugs (one of them extremely large that flew). If the room had been dated but clean, I would have thought the hotel was generally acceptable, but the grime in the corners, bugs, and matted carpet left much to be desired.

Decent walk from station but good option for Venic

We booked here and travelled into Venice. There was no check in time on the paperwork so we arrived around 12.30pm and this was too early, they did allow us to leave our bags and check in later.
The hotel is a 15-20 min walk from the station and some of the roads have no paths but it's easily walkable even with cases. The hotel was comfortable and ideal for our needs. We ate in the restaurant one night (Not sure if it part of the hotel or a separate restaurant) the menu was a little limited although when we asked there was an additional pizza menu, the food wasn't too bad though.
This is an ideal hotel for Venice if you're prepared for the walk to and from the station. The walk was alot easier with no cases! Venice is a short train ride away and was €4 each way, can't complain at that!

The hotel is in a weird area but close to the autobahn. A very modern bldg with the best rooms we stayed in our 20 days of travel and 8 countries visited! Staff was very helpful and courteous. Garage parking was very good. Breakfast wasn't great but they do have a decent variety of food.

Good base to visit Venice

The location of this hotel on Google Maps is wrong! It led us in the wrong direction getting us lost! I called the hotel, frustrated and looking for directions to the hotel, the girl who picked up the phone was cold and rude. I ended up walking into a Best Western to as for directions, in which they directed me in the right direction.

After the initial hiccup, the stay was fine. The room was clean and comfortable. The hotel is located in an industrial area beside a bus service station. The nice part is that the hotel is 10 mins away from the train station where you can take an express train to Venice.

We left a wallet in a taxi and didn't know the company name or taxi number.
We were delighted by the helpfulness of the reception staff who phoned around the taxi companies and got the wallet back.
Also, we found the location a bit tricky to find, and yes, it is next to the railwAy lines and takes about 20 minutes to walk from the station. With these factors in mind, we would still recommend it as an option for some one looking for a base to make day trips to Venice.

Actually I could not really understand the high rating, as the hotel looks to be a typical chain hotel. The accomodation is quite simple, the bathroom was clean, but needs some restauration in the near future. The service was friendly and the garage was included in the hotel rate.

Turned up at the desk and they insisted that I hadn't paid (even though Expedias mail suggested that I had), and that happened all the time with Expedia. In the end I paid again and got a receipt which I'll try and resolve with Expedia. It would be hard to now describe it as 'hassle free'.

Wonderful staff!

The hotel was good - exactly what you would expect for the money. Location: it's quite a walk to the city, but it's doeable. What really made us feel at home here were the ladies at the reception. They were incredibly lovely! I had lost my phone the day before and they were happy to call the police, the lost and found office, our previous hotel in Rimini... they just did everything they could to help me out. They were funny and very warmhearted - made my day!

Out of town, but still convenient.

The hotel is probably aimed at the business market rather than tourists. (It's part of an international hotel chain.) It is more than a kilometre from the city centre, though there is a useful circular route bus (APS city bus number 1) which runs every 15/20 minutes during the day until about 2000, though not on Sundays. The bus stop is about 150m from the hotel, so the location is not as much of an issue as it might otherwise be.

The hotel is quite new, and the standard of provision and décor are what you would therefore expect. The rooms are reasonably spacious, the beds are comfortable, and the shower was effective.

It's therefore good value for a hotel which allows you relatively easy access to the centre of Padova.

The most important thing to consider in our opinion is that the hotel backs on to the city's main bus depot, (not the bus station as another review says.) The depot has nearly 400 buses. A room at the rear of the hotel is therefore to be avoided. The double glazing is reasonably effective, but there are a lot of buses operating throughout the night. Choose a room on the front of the hotel.

Gets worse by the year...

Having stayed here when it was a differently-named 4 star it is sad to see the decline in standards since it has become part of the B&B group. The PC in the lobby never worked, staff were apologetic but unable to get it fixed; breakfast very poor quality - tasteless scrambled egg, watered down orange juice, limited overall choice. It's handy for the Fiera, but not exactly cheap as their rates are higher during events - why else would you stay there? The room was clean and most of it worked. There is a very poor choice of English language TV - not a problem for me, but it might matter to some.

This hotel isn't in 'downtown' Padua, but it's within walking distance (15 minutes) of the train station, which was incredibly convenient, because we were staying in Padua to take the train into Venice.

The room was very clean, had a tv and amenities.

Finding the hotel was a little complicated- at the time of our stay, there was some construction going on in the area that made a normally two-way street into a one-way street. However, we were able to find a map at the train station to find an alternative route.

I would not recommend this hotel for someone who wants to be in the heart of Padua, or for someone who isn't up for the walk to the train station. But, if you're looking for a reasonably priced hotel, this one can't be beat!

We opted out of the breakfast option, and found breakfast at the train station.

The staff was verx friendly and helpful. As I hate elevator, they were very helpful and gave us a room on the second floor.
The room was upper level than the one we had paid for but we were asked no supplement.
entry with TV, a room with a double bed and another TV, a first bath room with a tub and a vanity, a second bath room with a shower, a bidet and a toilet.

I got a really good deal on this hotel through Expedia. It was modern and clean but in an odd location for such a large hotel, in a residential neighborhood about a mile from the main railway station. They seem to accommodate large tour busses, and that is fine. I left my car in the secure garage and took the train to Venice for the day. Service was very good, friendly and helpful. Breakfast was excellent with many choices. The restaurant is closed for now so you have to dine elsewhere. Wi-fi worked great in the room.

Hotel was very nice, only things it lacked were an English channel on the TV and a faster internet connection. The week I stayed was very cold though it was still September. It was surprising A/C was always on when I came back, of which highest setting was 20 deg.C.
