On the day of checkout we tried to mention the broken a/c to another lady working the front desk. She kept dismissing us. Walking fast past us when she seen us. Got on the phone and started talking when we were around. And, flat out disappearing. We found out from the maintenance guy as we were going to check out that they knew about the broken a/c. He was coming into our room as we were leaving. He was the one that told us he tried to come by before we checked into the room to fix the a/c, but had to wait until the following day to fix it. That infuriated us even more! Not that it was his fault. He was only doing his job. It's the person managing the inn at fault. Instead of doing the right thing for their guests, they obviously felt profits were more important than customer satisfaction. Who in their right mind would let guests stay in a room without a/c on a tropical island?
