Great central location. Modern, clean, superb breakfast options. Polite and helpful staff. Some noise outside, but you are in the city centre after all. Unusual pillows, you’ll see what I mean when you go. But do stay here as we would definitely go back.

Too hot when we arrived. I asked why the air conditioning wasn’t working and was told that the municipal titms or off during winter. They moved us to the room with balcony and asked us to open the window for cool air. That didn’t last because of the noise from outside and rain. I asked for a refund to go to another hotel that had ac.
Finally got to another hotel that had ac and was able to sleep. If you travel here in their winter season, take note of the air conditioning situation especially if you have breathing issues.

This is a nice hotel with some pros and cons. Pros: Good location close to good bakeries, coffee shops, shopping, and theaters. It's a fairly long walk to the Kalsa and Cattedrale, so not so convenient if you want to focus your sightseeing on those areas. The hotel is clean and the rooms are modern with excellent water pressure. Breakfast is excellent. Cons: The biggest downside for us was the lack of ventilation in the rooms. We visited in December when the weather was gorgeous and balmy. Unfortunately the windows in the room only opened at the top, and only for a few inches. The room was sweltering and we couldn't air it out even though it was lovely outside. And leaving the window open at night is not an option because the hotel is on a very noisy street. The staff kindly provided a fan but we just couldn't cool the room down as the A/C had been turned off for the winter season. We would hesitate to visit again unless we were able to secure a room where the window opened completely.

I had a great experience at Hotel Politeama in Palermo. The room was spacious, clean, and very comfortable—exactly what you want after a long day exploring the city.

The location is unbeatable: right in the center, with easy access to restaurants, shops, and major sights.

A big plus is that the hotel offers parking, which made getting around incredibly convenient. I also want to highlight the excellent service from the concierge, Filippo, who was extremely helpful throughout our stay and made the experience even smoother.

We loved this place - excellent value on the edge of the old town; most main sites in walking distance but not right in the middle of it all. Comfortable modern well furnished room (though pillows a little hard) with balcony and city view. Rooftop restaurant was special and worth a visit. Breakfast reasonable and plentiful. We had a balcony with a view of the Piazza Garibaldi so a lovely place to sit out on & enjoy the view. Excellent restaurant with a fabulous on the rooftop, but quite small & therefore busy so definitely need to book.

Great breakfast choices with wide variety for all tastes.
Rooms were older but clean and such a perfect location in Palermo.
Had a room on the ninth floor and whilst the view was amazing the trade off was the noise from the rooftop restaurant (whose food was wonderful) as they dragged tables and chairs around at all hours.
Def stay at this hotel but on a lower floor. Staff were terrific!

This hotel has an incredible rooftop bar with views of the city. It’s also very centrally located near all the major attractions. Less than a 10 minute walk to the Massimo Theater. However, the room was very basic, beds were still, pillows were hard. If they updated the rooms this hotel would be 5/5

We stayed for 4 nights at the end of August into the beginning of September. The location of the hotel is perfect and during our time in Palermo, we kept saying that we couldn't imagine staying anywhere else in the city.
Both Via Roma and Via Maqueda are right by the hotel and offer tons of shopping, dining, and sight-seeing options. We tended to prefer Via Maqueda, but both will take you to the central station within a 25-30 minute walk. The hotel is also within a short walking distance of bus stops that can take you all around the city. Also, right by the hotel is probably the best sandwich shop in all of Palermo (A’ Putìa), which we definitely considered to be a major perk of its location.
The hotel's rooftop bar offers a cool view of the city, but the view from our room's balcony was perhaps even better! The hotel staff were lovely and even let us check out an hour later than the hotel's official time for free. If you are planning a stay in Palermo, we couldn't recommend this hotel enough!

I love this hotel— great location where you are literally on the edge of the city center and where locals live and shop.

We had a car so the hotel offered valet parking for our ease of mind - there is not really parking in front of the hotel available or nearby otherwise. It ended up being 23€ per night, not bad.

The hotel has a rooftop bar which is beautiful and definitely worth a dinner and/or drinks night cap. It overlooks the lively piazza in front of the teatro.

The rooms are quite spacious, clean, and accommodating.

I definitely recommend this for a family, friends, or solo travelers looking for a modern stay with our creature comforts.

The reception staff were polite and helpful.
We were upgraded and had a room with a terrace and a great view of the city.
The room was clean with tea, coffee and nice toiletries.
The area felt safe, particularly as there were parts of the city that didn’t feel very safe.

The room was decent nothing special. The air conditioning was not working well. It never cooled the entire time we were there. Hotel staff said it because it was so hot outside that the units were overloaded. The hotel breakfast and rooftop are fantastic. Location was great. Close to everything yet outside the very busy parts of Palermo. I don’t know that we would stay again as the warm rooms made it very uncomfortable.

We had such a great stay here. The room was so stylish and comfortable, and the staff were so helpful in showing us how to get around Palermo. Everywhere we wanted to go was in 20-30 mins walking distance which was perfect.

Thanks to Fillipo who got in touch before our stay via WhatsApp and book us transport from the airport which was super helpful.

The hotel was very central, very easy check in. The room was very comfortable and clean with towels changed every day.

The roof top bar and restaurant was excellent with all staff very attentive and friendly.

Average at best hotel. Staff friendly and we were well received on arrival and throughout stay.
Room was okay, but loose wall plug socket and a paint peeling shower ceiling a negative for sure. Overrated roof garden restaurant, the menu prices way overpriced considering how much food appeared on our plates! Checking out of the hotel, was told to pay city tax of 27E, a fee that had been prepaid, so reluctantly after getting nowhere arguing about it paid the fee as one had a flight to catch!

Staff was perfect. AC was not strong enough which they resolved promptly. There was a strange smell in the entry but I didn't make an issue of it. If I had, I am sure they would have corrected immediately. All historical sites were a short walk away; lively street with shops, cathedrals and restaurants nearby. High end shopping was just around the corner too. Famous orchestra with world class violinist played in the park/teatro across the street. We have front row seats for 11 euros each. And easy to get to airport as well- 106 bus to the Palermo Lolli station/to the airport.

Nice hotel in a great location. Breakfast was plentiful. Roof top bar/restaurant was nice - not very large - and only open in the evening. Downstairs bar/coffee lounge was never open which was very disappointing as nowhere to get a drink during the day in the hotel… you were forced to go out to one of the nearby bars.

The hotel was perfectly located for the centre of Palermo without being in the thick of it. Nice quiet area around the designer shops with eating in short walking distance. The airport shuttle stops right outside! The hotel is super clean with a stocked fridge and hairdryer. TV mostly in Italian but didn’t bother us as hardly there! There’s a kettle and coffee machine but suggest you bring your own tea bags. The mini mary to the left is perfect for water and beers! Roman is very friendly.
Staff were very friendly and pleasant, especially at reception and give you all the info you need.
Don’t bother with the free Prosecco as it’s half a glass but the views from the top are impressive. Overall great stay and will be back!

Honestly we could not have chosen a better hotel for our first trip to Sicily. We are more enchanted with Palermo and Sicily than we could have imagined. The room was perfect and we made good use of our balcony with the gorgeous view. We loved the rooftop restaurant and breakfast was always nice. I will miss my cappuccinos with pretty hearts that always made me smile. The location was perfect and we enjoyed just walking around and surprising and enjoying local food. The grocery store and ATM were very accessible as well. Thanks!!

The staff were very helpful, and I appreciated the dining staff remembering I was gluten free for breakfast. The room was nicely furnished and the bed comfy, with a fab view of the square. Great location. Valet parking at 22 euros a day was handy, but if you are getting the bus from the airport, the stop is just outside. Enjoyed a drink in the rooftop bar.

Great location, friendly staff, good breakfast and clean, if spartan room. Our room overlooked the Piazza Politeama so it was a bit noisy if we opened the window but fairly quiet otherwise. The location is excellent, right where the daily pedestrian passegiata starts (or ends) and only a 5-10 minute walk to the Teatro Massimo and \"party zone\" full of bars and restaurants. The rooftop bar and restaurant are small but the food was excellent and the views of Palermo and surrounding mountains are gorgeous.

Perfect modern hotel near everything!!

We both absolutely loved this hotel - it was great to stay at a modern hotel after traveling around Sicily. The location is perfect, tons of shopping and restaurants across the piazza. We did not expect to have breakfast there, so it was a very nice surprise to be informed that it was complimentary! The breakfast itself had something for everybody, it was an excellent spread. We stayed on the 3rd floor and it was very spacious. The shower pressure was absolutely phenomenal although the shower itself wasn't large. .
The hotel staff was lovely from the front reception to the staff working the breakfast buffet. The front staff arranged our taxi pickup to the airport and the taxi was prompt, excellent stay!

The hotel was clean and modern in a very safe area, and with the windows closed, it was very quiet. The breakfast was excellent!

On the negative side, the room was VERY spartan and poorly furnished. It was also a 20 minute walk from the main entertainment and dining area. Next time we will look for something closer to the historic center.
