Marco was a Gem.

We arrived early and Marco the manager couldn’t have been more helpful. Even going with me in our hire car to find suitable parking. The B&B is on the 3rd floor. Don’t panic, there’s a lift. The rooms were neat and clean with modern conveniences and a small balcony. Very quiet at night time and the location was fantastic. Breakfast was also excellent with lots of the usual choices.

Great location to walk or take bus to the central station. Many restaurants in the area. Great host. Really really friendly owner and excellent English speaker. Safe area to walk at midnight. We stay one night and was great. Big rooms, very clean and renovated.

Nice location, close enough to centre but not too loud. Breakfast included but if you want something more substantial there is a lovely bakery opposite which opens earlier than breakfast starts. We stayed in 3 other places across Sicily and most breakfasts started at 7 or 7.30, we went for a trip one day so got breakfast at the cafe opposite the hotel as breakfast wasnt open, and were then told we hadnt turned up for breakfast, so it seems like you need to tell them if you arent going to make breakfast?
It wasnt clear on instructuons that you needed to send notice in advance saying what time you arrive, check in was from 12, we arrived just after 12 when 4 other people arrived but our room wasnt cleaned.
We got to our room just after 1, and did not complain, we patiently waited in the kitchen but were told a few times we should have said when we were arriving and the room would have been prepared and prioritised (dont see how when there was 6 people all there at same tine and theirs were ready)
The wifi did not work at all in the 3 days we stayed, another person raised the issue on the first day when we arrived and was told it was a problem with the provider and the hotel couldnt do anything, but it didnt work the next few days either.
There was a safe in room but you cant change the code?
The room was clean and good size, host gave map and instructuons on arrival which was helpful but check-in notes in the room for safe, breakfast, wifi instructions etc would be useful

Marco is the friendliest and amusing host. He gave us a warm welcome and lots of good advice re our short visit to Palermo. The hotel is in a great location, was good value and served a very nice breakfast. A good experience all round and would definitely recommend this hotel as very convenient for getting around Palermo.

Breakfast starts at 8:30 AM every day, which is very very inconvenient for most of the tourist. Most of the tours start at 8–9 a.m. every day. There is no time for breakfast.

We only had one night at the hotel but Marco, the owner, could not do enough to make us feel welcome. He is obviously very proud of his business and of Palermo itself and ensured that we had everything we needed. The property is on a pedestrianised street and is a perfect location for walking the streets and sights of Palermo. On leaving we had unknowingly left some of our property in the room but Marco quickly phoned to say that he had found it. Overall an excellent service.

Couldn’t have picked a better place!!

Our room was very spacious, clean and practical. It was centrally located within walking distance to many attractions. The breakfast was very good with an assortment of fruits, yoghurts, croissants and amazing cappuccino! The owner, Mario was very sweet and obliging. I would highly recommend this guest house to anyone on a budget. There is great value here.

This bnb is in a great location to see the sights in Palermo. You can walk everywhere and lots of restaurants around. A 5 minute walk to the airport bus. It’s just past the end of the old town which can be a bit grotty. It’s quiet and on a pedestrian street. Nice staff, nice breakfast and very clean.

Marco the owner, did everything possible to make
our stay perfect. His breakfast is a wonderful way to start the day. Marco provided us with the best places to eat from pizza, to gelato, to fine dining.

This was one of my better hotel stays on a two month trip through Europe. I loved the location of this property - on a popular pedestrian lane that intersects with a main street that leads directly into the Centro Storico. The room was clean and comfortable and the staff attentive.

Area was amazing. Close to everything. The host Marco was fantastic! He points out great places to see and has some great restaurant recommendations. The only fault was that the bed was incredibly uncomfortable, but who knows what the beds in the other rooms were like. Bed aside, I would definitely recommend staying here.

We loved the service we received from the owner Marco. He made us feel welcomed from the moment we got there. His recommendations and suggestions were 100%. The location is perfect. We were close to everything. The best shopping, restaurants, and gelato are only minutes away.
Our room was comfortable, and clean. The breakfast was delicious and plentiful.

A little difficult to find at first but once we did, it was so wonderful! I traveled to Palermo with 3 friends and Marco made our stay so warm and comfortable! Breakfast everyday was lovely, and Marco showed us all the best spots to visit and eat in Palermo and he was right on the money. Theresa’s help was so appreciated as well. Great service even when we couldn't stay

We really liked the owner manager who let us leave our bags at breakfast time the morning we arrived from the ferry. He explained there was a problem with the shower in our room and when we returned at lunch time had arranged alternative accommodation at another B&B. We thought Opera was in a brilliant location near restaurants and cafes and kept finding ourselves back there. The provincial tourist info office is in the building next door. We had a good stay at the other B&B but would have loved to stay at Opera and really appreciated how hard the owner worked to look after us. Any midrange ratings are only because we never saw our booked room but reception and breakfast rooms were very pleasant.

Marco is an amazing host. He helped us get our rental car parked and was always pleasant and very accommodating. This B&B is amazing. It is located on the 3rd floor of what appears to be a business building located on a pedestrian walkway with several shops and restaurants. The B&B is very modern and clean and somewhat very urban \"loft-like.\" The breakfast is very good and the location can't be beat.

Great B and B in central location.

Great B and B located in central location, on a pedestrian mall. Marco, the owner, was the most hospitable of hosts, and went to great lengths to make us feel at home in his establishment. He made us feel like family, not just temporary guests. Breakfast was plentiful and included the freshest of pastries, fruit, cereal, eggs - a great selection. Room was on the small side, but very good bed and bathroom.

Best kept secret in Palermo.

Excellent surprise. The location is fantastic both for visiting and shopping. The room we got was large and clean and newly refurbished. Marco is a fantastic host, he printed our boarding passes, ordered a shuttle to the airport. I almost forgot, breakfast was great, full of Italian croissants and canali. Unbeatable.

Fantastic location in Palermo

What a wonderful location in Palermo! When we first arrived we were shown to a room which was very tiny and not at all suitable for my daughter and I for four nights. When I told Marco that we would not be staying, he immediately found us a more spacious room that was lovely. Marco was very helpful suggesting places for us to visit and restaurants serving authentic Sicilian food. The B&B was located on a pedestrian street loaded with cafes and shops and people. It was absolutely charming! My daughter and I highly recommend B&B Opera.

Lovely room in central location.

Easy to locate on the street, due to being next to the Lacoste shop. However, on arrival the main wooden doors to the apartment building were closed, and the door entry system did not seem to be working well. However, once in the welcome was warm, and full of information. The room was stunning, and fairly quiet considering it's central situation.

Amazing location - great little b&b!

Way above expectations! The rooms are lovely and we were upgraded to a full apartment after one night. If you want a balcony to enjoy the sounds of palermo the apartment may not be as good however for a longer stay the kitchen and facilities are great.

great stay at B&B Opera

My wife and I had a great stay at B&B Opera. The room was clean and quiet. There was a good selection of foods for breakfast. The host, Marco, had a lot of information and gave a lot of good recommendations of places to visit while in town. The place is two blocks from a shuttle bus stop to Falcone–Borsellino Airport (PMO) and about 2 km from the Palermo Centrale Train Station. The neighborhood is fairly quiet with several mid to high-end stores. I will definitely keep this place in mind for future trips to Palermo.

Die Lage ist top, alle wichtigen Sehenswürdigkeiten inkl Flughafen Bus Haltestelle in der Nähe. Zimmer ist sauber, Bett gemütlich. Leider nur ein kleiner Mistkübel. Der Besitzer ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit, auch die Dame beim Frühstück. Kann die Unterkunft sehr empfehlen

Central bed & breakfast at a perfect price

Central bed and breakfast in Palermo, where location plays the first role, due to the size of the city and security concerns. Unfortunately, given that I was on my own, I got a very small room that had really limited natural light coming in from the window. Room was very clean. Lack of electricity sockets in the room requires that you unplug the bedside lamps in order to plug in a computer or your battery/phone chargers. Marco, who runs the BnB is particularly kind and available to provide you with all the information only a local can give you, in order to make your stay in Palermo unforgettable!

Everything was perfect.
Host is super friendly, I felt like at home.
Location is great - super close to the bus stations to the airport, Trapani and Mondello beach. And also on the walking distance from the historical part of Palermo. Room is very clean, big enough, and bed is super comfortable. Usually I have a problems to sleep at the hotels, but here I slept like a baby. Breakfast was delicious. I can recommend this apartment to everyone. I'm super satisfied :)

Such an excellent place to stay!

We really enjoyed staying at Bed and Breakfast Operà! Marco welcomed us warmly and gave us the best tips for Palermo (for example the recommended gelato place \"Brioscia\" was amazing!). Marco also served us very good breakfast and overall made the stay as pleasant as it was. The atmosphere at this place is warm, and the location is really at the center of everything - we were able to walk everywhere. Our room was clean, nothing to complain. We truly recommend staying here, thanks to Marco!

Perfect hotel with extremely friendly host

This hotel is perfect for a city trip in Palermo. It is in the center and you can do everything within walking distance. The breakfast was very tasty, daily fresh fruit and every day a different local tartlet or sandwiches with ricotta, chocolate and cream. Really delicious!! The room was also very clean.

Marco is a great person, super friendly and very helpful. He knows everything about the city and gave us good tips for restaurants and sightseeing. Marco was always in for a talk. Grazie Marco!

Tutto a posto; gentilezza, pulizia, cortesia, disponibiltà.
L'unica cosa è che siamo stati \"trasbordati\" in un altra struttura sempre dello stesso proprietario e nella stessa via,in quanto nella camera da noi prenotata, al mattino del nostro arrivo si è verificata la rottura del bagno.
Comunque alla fine tutto ok; di fatto il B&B Operà non lo abbiamo visto

Hôtel à recommander.

Hôtel très bien situé, au calme mais tout près du centre.Très bon accueil des propriétaires. Chambre spacieuse et agréable. C'est vraiment une bonne adresse.

Piacevole esperienza in B&b di ottimo livello

Struttura di ottimo livello, i cui punti di forza sono la eccellente posizione ( in zona pedonale a circa 50 metri da piazza Politeama), la pulizia di tutti gli ambienti (sala colazione , camere e soprattutto bagni ). Il proprietario Marco gestisce tutto con grande cortesia e disponibilità ed è una persona molto gradevole. Colazione varia e abbondante con cibi di ottima qualità. Assolutamente da consigliare

Centralissimo!

Struttura arredata in modo semplice ma curata, pulita e con ascensore. In zona pedonale con diversi bar sotto il b&b. Marco il proprietario è una persona squisitamente disponibile per informazioni culturali, stradali e culinarie e assolutamente non invadente. Da provare!
