Terrific place to stay, very comfortable accommodation. I only had a little problem checking in as no one was at the desk, and when I called the office they had to dig around for my booking. This is not typical for this property though, it's usually brilliant.

We had a most enjoyable two night stay at Corrigans Cove. Our two bedroom room was large, clean and well maintained. The room had a definite quality feel to it. It was also well equipped with quality kitchen fittings and both a washer and a dryer.
The only fly in the ointment for us being the sound of the air conditioning unit belonging to apartment above us but placed outside our bedroom window.
However this did not prevent us sleeping and we would not hesitate to stay at Corrigans Cove when we are next in Batehaven.

The place is great and casual. The room was not spotless clean. There was a spot of dirt in the living room for some reason and frequently seeing ant crawling in from outside. AC was in only one room and because we were there during a heatwave, it became a major issue for the room with no AC.

We have paid for bay view room, there is an event happening at our stay which blocked the whole view, there is no notice from wotif and the motel. Property located at the corner of two main road which is very noise plus the event during the night. Room facility is very old and not clean, our fridge did not working properly our ice cream all melted and wasted. Generally overpriced for the condition of the accommodation.

We had been upgraded to a 2 bedroom apartment, so for a couple we had more than ample room. The kitchen was very well-equipped. Bed was very comfortable. We were on the ground floor so the water view was not great. However the expansive park across the road made up for it.

Reception is indicated as open till 9pm but I was waiting for an hour in the cold for someone from reception to answer my call to let me in my room. Finally the guy calls me back after being prompted by expedia as I had to call them. I didn’t even get the room I booked. The guy on the phone just told me to walk down the stairs and stay in a room that wasn’t even allocated to me or booked by me. I only stayed because no other motels nearby were open. My only other option was to sleep in my car. zero accountability.

Very disappointed. The restaurant was closed both nights that we booked, we wanted a hotel with a restaurant to save going out and having to drive. There was no door on the bathroom vanity area which was very strange because if you were washing or cleaning your teeth everybody could watch you! There was no privacy net curtain on the large window in the lounge which meant anyone walking or driving down the street could see in and watch you wash etc unless you had the blackout curtain drawn which made the room very dark. All in all very disappointed certainly would not go back!!

I booked the pool view room, and they allocated me room 102, saying it was a pool view room. But when I opened the balcony door, there was no pool view at all. It directly faces the road/parking area.

There were about a dozen steep steps to reach the front door of our 2bed unit while carrying our luggage up. Fortunately it wasn’t raining. The main bedroom is up another dozen or so steep interior steps. There is no upstairs bathroom so we slept downstairs in the single beds. Glad it was just for 1 night. The really annoying thing is that the room description only mentions steps for a few units, implying, I thought, that there are no steps in the more expensive units. We paid more unnecessarily because of that ‘over-sight’ in the description. The room was clean, the beds basic. Though we faced the busy road, we couldn’t hear road noise once all the front windows and balcony door was closed. The high downstairs ceiling and stairway carried the aircon heat upwards so the downstairs became quite cold in the early June morning requiring extra blankets from upstairs.
