The room had leaves in it when I arrived but apart from that it was clean and presentable. The walls are a bit thin so you can hear your neighbours.
Beyond that the place is beautiful. The lake rooms are shielded from the traffic from the highway and offer the best relaxing views with ducks and Nankeen Night Herons across the water in the late afternoon.
Be aware you are next door to the primary school so it will be a bitty noisy during the school hours.
This is my second time staying and I will be back.

A great place to stay, we enjoyed cycling along the waterfront from there and exploring the local area. We had lots of room and although the room has no kitchen you are supplied with cutlery and plates for the bbq area. We enjoyed the pool too.

The room was spacious and clean. The. Beds are comfy.
On arrival the receptionist was extremely helpful. I had forgot to ask for a ground floor room as i cant do the stairs. She changed my room and arranged a late check out within 5 minutes and was very friendly.
The continental breakfast and barrista coffee were great .
Thanks to all for making my weekend a great break.

I had a wonderful stay and would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a peaceful break.

The Room: Spotlessly clean and very comfortable.

The Service: The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout my visit.

The Atmosphere: The grounds are the real highlight. Between the stunning lake views and the inviting pool area, the entire environment is incredibly relaxing.

It’s a beautiful property that makes it easy to unwind. I’ll definitely be back!

While the reception staffs were great, the room was slightly below the expectations. We hope the cleanliness can be improved in some occasions. Still it was a good overnight stay for us. The property itself is nice. We couldn't use all facilities due to lack of time, but we appreciated the options available.

The room was quite spacious but tired, there were splattered insects on the walls, the window/door didn't operate properly and didn't stop much noise from outside.
The staff were exceptionally helpful and courteous, however, they could have used some extra help as all responsibilities were left to just a few. It was New Years Eve so maybe difficult to get staff at that time of the year but the operators should not fully book the \"resort\" if that's the case. It's not really a resort, more like a motel with two accommodation block and a tiny ageing pool. The grounds were very nice though. The stand out for me was the quality of food in the restaurant, it was exceptionally good and again, the staff were particularly friendly and polite but run off their feet and could hardly cope. We were asked to leave the bar/restaurant building at 10pm on New Year's Eve leaving us with no other option than so go back to the room to bring in the New Year. Very odd. I wouldn't mind any of this but the property is advertised as 4 star and the pricing reflects the advertising but not the reality. I imagine it is a lot cheaper at other times of the year and so a much better experience but not for me on this occasion.

Don’t know for the price of the room should have a breakfast included ..the room had cobwebs ..spiders inside ..nowhere to hang towels when used …didn’t even have toaster …it was suppose to executive suite …outside 2 old wooden chairs but no table to put drinks on …no shelving in the bar fridge ….had to use a esky …only positive note the view was nice …the young blonde cleaner was nice and gave has good customer service ..never again for that price or that room ..we have a disabled sticker for our car … someone who didnt have parked in the only disabled spot but with no sticker ..rang reception to complain and they did nothing ..poor customer service ..

The hotel was very clean and in a great location. The issue was the shower. The drain would back up as soon as the shower was turned on and very quickly The whole bathroom would flood.The water was either very cold or very hot. It was impossible to find a happy medium. The bathroom sink only had cold water.. no hot water.
Reception was informed about the shower and we were told that the whole block was like that..seems management wasn't interested in fixing the issue for future guests.

What I liked was the thick fluffy towels, a full pressure shower, thick firm pillows and a comfortable bed. I also loved the beautiful well cared for gardens. Its also nice to be greeted by a friendly host on arrival. Next time we will make time for the restaurant.

Also breakfast was not up to standard, we did only 1 morning rest we cancelled and no refund received from neither property nor last minute.

Nice motel with a beautiful lake and surrounds. Rooms are quite fresh from recent renovations. Beds are comfortable. EV charger is a good feature (although one of the two chargers was not working). Tennis court is nice. Location is convenient - only 1-2 mins drive from main town centre. Only downside is the thin wall as we could hear talking and kids noise from neighbouring rooms.

Good points:
- warm and friendly welcome at reception with an easy check in.
- really soft comfy bedsheets and pillows.
- modern bathroom with lovely hot shower
- quiet room, not disturbed by any neighbouring guests.
- generous size room with a desk as well as dining table.
- well stocked in room fridge with really reasonably priced items.
- lovely big glass of great value red wine with my dinner.

Bad points:
- I had to check out at 7:45am and breakfast doesn’t start until 8am, I wish it started earlier or if there was a self serve option for early departures.
- While it was lovely to be able to eat dinner on site, I did feel that the food menu was a little on the expensive side. Regardless, I’d eat there again and it was nice food, just trying to put together some constructive feedback :-)

For such a big property it was really quiet. It has beautiful surrounds and fitted our needs. Staff were friendly and helpful. We decided to dine in as we had had a lengthy drive. Inquired what was the best time/times and reception said early better. Booked 6.15pm and ordered main meal immediately. Waited, waited, waited….1 hour 15 minutes later…mains came…beef fillet good. fish good but lentils uncooked…no sign of wait staff…
