It was a great room with all you could need for a longer stay. Very clean and extremely spacious. Lovely staff. The fabulous Raymond’s of Malua Bay downstairs. My only gripe was the building hums with the aircon. Even with my aircon off, I had to use earplugs to sleep. Wonderful location with the beach across the road.

Following the front desk recommendation ate at the excellent Chinese restaurant in the building. Afterwards enjoyed a relaxing walk along the beach front.
The only disappointment was that the lift became non functional during our stay. Staff were very helpful though and carried our luggage down three floors on our departure day. The issue was actioned quickly by staff, but repairs were delayed while waiting for a replacement part.

The fuse box in the room made a clicking noise all night and we got almost no sleep. I informed reception of this in the morning and she just said she would tell the manager. The woman in front of me had reported that something in her room wasn’t working and she gave her a partial refund. Really disappointed and won’t be staying there again

Wow - that was different!! I have stayed here before and it has been outstanding. This stay was completely opposite. Upon checking in was informed that a large portion of the rooms have been occupied by school leavers (schoolies) I would assume that this should/could have been shared on booking or prior to arrival. Anyway, i was there and it was for only 1 night. But it was awful - running up and down corridors, loud and foul conversations and bangs against the door, for several hours between 11pm and 1am. Didnt get a great deal of sleep after a long day driving. I understand these events do occur, but prior warning should be a protocol followed, similar to when you are informed renovations or works are scheduled during stays.

Parking is safe and secure.

The Bathroom shower was absolutely Filthy and Mouldy.
No shower screen on the door so
the water from the shower floods the bathroom making this a Potential Slip Hazard for anyone.
With all the water on the floor its hard to use any electrical appliance like a straightner etc as the cord sits in the water.

Also the bedside table is rusty on the 2nd shelf.

The Glass door's and glass baracade on the verandah are filthy and there's spiders webs.

The property was along the coastal route by the ocean front and not far from Batemans Bay. My room was on level 2 with an ocean view. It was a very spacious studio apartment furnished with dining table and two double beds.
The bathroom was large combined with laundry facilities. Kitchen facility was adequate.
The walk to the beach was less than 5 mins. The hotel provided beach towels which was very handy.

I have enjoyed my stay at this property. It was, spacious and had a good view. I wish I could give it only 4.5 stars. The only reason for talking half a star away is that the kettle was simply filthy inside. I tried wiping it with a sponge and it came out black. I would recommend families bringing their own kettle if they are planning to stay there for long periods of time. But otherwise, everything else was very clean.

Loved this place. Huge apartment. Parking garage for guests. Really private feel with direct access to the beach, a pretty decent playground, and a reputable Chinese restaurant just next door. Just the best place to de-stress and appreciate nature. Close to Mogo Wildlife Park. I want to stay here again. Friendly staff.

Wonderfully positioned small hotel overlooking Malua Bay. Rooms are spacious with small kitchen and laundry a bonus. Underground secure parking was a bonus.
I would have given 5 stars overall except for the lack of styling in rooms....not a photo or art work to be seen, so a little plain with the all grey decor. Abode....get a stylist!

Reception staff were uniformly friendly and very helpful. Nothing was too much trouble and rooms were spacious, facing the sea, and well equipped.
Only drawback was no dining table. Guests were obviously meant to eat at the kitchen bench which not only cramped the kitchen space, but the high stools are no good at all for short, elderly people or little kids.

- Warm and welcoming reception staff
- Coffee shop available at reception
- Washing machine and dryer in each room

What I didn’t like:
- As a pet-friendly hotel, common areas could benefit from more frequent cleaning
- Kitchen rangehood/exhaust is not properly vented, causing air circulation issues within the room
- Shower had very poor water flow, and water overflowed from the bath into the rest of the ensuite

Upon arriving, we thought our stay would be great and extended our stay for two extra nights. On the third day, it went from great to HORRIBLE. We were leaving for the day when the cleaning lady arrived. She asked if she could come in to clean, we agreed and within two minutes, we were out the door. When we returned, all she had done was remove our used towels and trash. She did not make the bed nor clean anything. We arrived back again after dinner and went to sleep, but woke up around 1:30 because it was so hot in our room. That's when we discovered the AC was broken. We called the main number and were offered NO APOLOGY, only told that there was no maintenance on call and we had to wait until 7:00. At 7:10, we called again to find out why no one had called us at 7 to arrange fixing. We were told no one would be here until 8. At 8, we called again and were told that the manager would be contacted. We waited, no manager, nothing. We went to the front desk. The response was \"oh, no!\" and were told that the manager wouldn't be in until 9 (no apology again). We asked the clerk to call the manager. He flat out refused. We asked when the maintenance was coming to fix it. \"He's out sick today.\" We asked to be switched to another room. Nope. None available. We are sitting here in a holding pattern in a hot room. We slept unsafely with the balcony doors open and have bug bites all over us as that was the only choice we had.

Regardless of how many times you have stayed there, it’s just as good every time!
Watch the sunrise from your balcony with full ocean views - the best!
The rooms - modern, clean, spacious, comfortable, stylish and a great layout.
Away from the hustle of Batemans Bay (10min).
So much quieter and the beaches - are better. Must go to McKenzies Beach (2min South of Abode on the main road)

Beautiful location directly across from the beach, and the hotel itself is really nice. Really big sized rooms and balcony, and all the amenities. Only downside (& this is such a personal preference) is the bed - its SO soft and offers zero support that i didn’t get a decent night's sleep at all.
