It's a basic set up with a clean room with car parked right outside your window. The room is fairly spacious. Room service is only by request. The common area (lobby) is very small. It's close to the shops in main street so plan on having all your meals in the cafe/restaurants in main street including breakfast. There is no view per se from the room. Overall convenient place to spend a couple of nights if visiting the area.

The room was perfect for the price paid. Nice location, comfortable amenities. A few items in ill repair (ceiling fan in bathroom hanging out of ceiling, few electrical outlets didn't work / USB chargers on nightstand). All in all, I would definitely stay here again.

Our stay was fine, the room was clean and conveniently located. we had a lot of trouble getting in touch with any staff before our trip. We were sent a confirmation message from the hotel, that said we needed to call and confirm that we had a pet friendly room. I called a dozen or more times over the course of a week and was never able to reach anyone at the desk (I don’t believe it’s staffed). I finally reached a call center off property by navigating their automated messaging system to a “new booking”, and was told I needed to call the front desk….. seems to be be a new trend of these self check in places to not have any staff.

Our only complaint was that the lights outside our door didn't come on until after 6pm (and there was no way to switch them on ourselves). In late November it is pitch dark at 4:30pm, hard to put in the door code with no light!@

The grounds at the property were spacious and well kept. The room was clean and well appointed. Overall we were really disappointed. TV choices were pretty limited.

The bathroom was small with MINIMAL space to store toiletries. The shower was pretty cramped -- barely room to turn around. And the stupid door wouldn't close all the way.

Breakfast was BAD -- minimal choices, no fruit etc.

And remote check in is for LAZY people. A good host greets his guests.

I sure would avoid this place.

The only thing I could improve was to possibly have a full length mirror out of the way…the bathroom mirror is the only one, and if two are getting ready it’s a bit of a hassle! Its a motel so expect motel experience. We had a room in the back building that was only two separate rooms which was nice but not sound proof by any means as their ad claims. Shared deck that both rooms exit into one foyer out to deck. Our door out to deck was difficult get locked as it appears a little out of alignment. The bathroom was nice, bed and linens were nice. Overall clean and good for a quick stay.

Beyond underwhelming

Muddy path to entrance, dirty floor, hard mattress, flies in windowsills, hair in shower, no hooks or shelves in bathroom, no microwave as advertised, fussy electric lock, jammed entry door, impossible to reach toilet flush. Not a good experience. Much better choices just down the road.

I've been here twice. Once in March '24 and once in April '25. What a difference a year makes. What was once a tired but cozy roadside motel has turned into a decently (if probably on a budget) renovated/updated and more inviting space. I was perfectly fine staying for one night in the old version but was pleasantly surprised (prior to booking) that it had made improvements. Nice job. Would stay again.

This is a beautifully remodeled in. Very clean, beautiful grounds. Nice bed and linens. Friendly welcoming staff. We would definitely stay here again. The only opportunities that I see, the bathroom though very lovely, difficult with no shelves or cabinet to put anything on the sink. Also, I would recommend adding Roku to the TV as using the Hulu was not All that great. Otherwise, we found the property to be lovely

The hotel is generally very clean and spacious, with an easy check-in and check-out process, which we greatly appreciated. However, we encountered a few issues during our stay. The bathroom lacked functional lighting, forcing us to rely solely on the mirror light. Additionally, the tissue paper holder was broken, and the bottles of shampoo, conditioner, and body wash were all empty. Despite these concerns, everything else about the hotel met our expectations and contributed to an otherwise pleasant experience

Property was clean and modern. Rooms were warm but quite noisy. You can clearly hear the other guests walking around their rooms even from several rooms away. There is no carpeting so the noise isn't muffled.
Breakfast is a to-go breakfast. It's about an easy 25 minute drive to Stratton. We would stay there again.

If you need an inexpensive, clean motel

This is a refurbished, door on the outside motel. If you need a clean room at a relatively low price, it’s fine. The inside seems newly renovated and the bathrooms are nicer than you might expect. I wasn’t happy with having a late, 4 pm check in. The doors could also use a chain or deadbolt. There is no service or staff. They send you a door code and have someone turn over your room when you leave.

I checked out and then decided to extended my stay a few days and made an entirely new and separate reservation. When I came back that evening I was given my same exact room without maid service. I asked for a clean room and was told that since I re booked they simply gave me my old room with no need to service it. Are you freakin kidding me? They had no clue I was going to rebook again. The kid at the front desk was clueless! When I asked for new linens he simply stared at me.
Do your self a favor and book elsewhere! I’ll be disputing my charges.

Amazing location! This was a business travel. Location was wonderful! Property and room super clean! The only draw back the heat was set too high and room had an extremely stale smell.
I think maybe an air freshener, Lysol, or one of those plug ins would work. I tried to open a window to let fresh air in the windows didn’t open

Very nice, clean and newly rennovated with vinyl wood flooring. Room was very sparse but modern and clean. They could use a throw rug or at least a welcome mat inside the room to wipe your feet from the snow and ice and to maybe leave your wet boots on. But otherwise an excellent room with a nice cosey bed and huge tv. Brwakfast was a bit of a jole tho. cereal and toast.

Everything was great, shower pressure was a bit low but it was alright. The room was big, clean, and well furnished. I appreciated the breakfast and wifi. No microwave though, only a coffee maker. We booked Guesthouse B for a two-night stay, but unfortunately, it was not a pleasant experience to say the least. The heater in the king-size bedroom was malfunctioning, turning the room into an unbearable sauna. There was no way to adjust or shut it off, and the double windows were locked, preventing any fresh air from cooling the room. For safety reasons, I could only crack the door open intermittently, but that wasn’t a viable solution overnight. The extreme heat made the room dangerously uncomfortable, and I ended up moving to a small room with a pull-out couch, which was essentially on the floor. At 6 feet tall, sleeping there was incredibly uncomfortable, but at least the window in that room could be opened slightly. Adding to the discomfort, the neighbors were partying loudly past 11p.m., making it impossible to sleep. I eventually had to go and ask them to quiet down…Between the heat and the noise, we did not got any sleep. Ultimately, we decided to check out a day early due to the issues with the king-size bedroom heat. Thankfully, we were able to book a room at the Hampton Inn in nearby Bennington, which was a much better experience, and we plan to stay there for our next week long trip.
Although the property manager tried to assist via text and ultimately refunded one night, I was hoping for a full refund for both nights since I basically slept on the floor the one night and not king size bed I paid for.

There are 3 types of accommodations on site. The Studios, and then there are two houses. There is a firepit on site and a pool. The property is very clean. The studio walls are thin, so if you check in, you can request a studio without anyone directly next door. The continental breakfast is cereal, coffee and yogurt. The property is at the foothills of the mountains, beautiful views.

Not worth what they charge

We drove past it initially because there was no sign that we could see in the dark, when we arrived.
The room is shown with a chair, however, there wasnt one. The toilet had to be flushed several times just to get paper to go down and the bathroom had no fan. Also, the wall in the bathroom had an unfinished outlet, which we were afraid to use because we weren't sure if it was okay to use, without getting electrocuted. Only one mirror in the room, so only one person could get ready at a time. The breakfast selection was minimal and there was no real cream for coffee. Just Coffee-Mate warm non-dairy \"creamers\". There was a guy sitting at a table in the lobby, that we assumed worked there. He didnt say and had all he could do to just say hello to the three of us, let alone ask if we \"enjoyed our stay or was everything alright\". For the amount they charge for a night, im sure there are better accommodations in the same area.

It is a beautiful setting, the staff was nice, and the open area for breakfast gathering nice. The view is incredible. However, the room was not fully finished. The side table between the bed is very small. The bathroom does not have shelves, storage, and the toilet paper sits on the back of the toilet, no wall hanging. The mirror is so high I could only see my chin and above. There is lots or room in the room, but very little furniture.
