The staff is great and the room was clean and comfortable. We were there with snow on the ground and we were disappointed that they didn't get a fire going in their community room. We wanted to sit and play games there but it was too cold. He said they only do fires on the weekend, which was really something I believe they should consider changing. People pay to stay during the week too.

While located on a main road into Manchester, we didn’t notice any traffic noise and the back view looks like you’re in the middle of the forest. The room was excellently suited to our needs. We especially enjoyed having two comfortable chairs and a small table to use. Good size and comfortable beds. Very clean. Staff was very friendly and helpful .

Toll Road Inn is my new home away from home when Riding in the area...great places to eat mere minutes away. Plan to return sometime in the summer months to check out the creek. **** Fridge in the room, 24-hour available Micro-wave in the Lobby.

They very conveniently offered 24/7 coffee and a welcoming lobby area. I can confidently say the next time I go up to that area I will be booking a room here again. The staff was very friendly, the pool was closed because of the seasons, I did not go to the hot tub, the room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The backyard was nice. The only negative for me is the it is still a lot of smoke smells, despite of the hotel being smoking free.

Everything was good. Being September the pool was closed. Hot tub was nice! Convenient location could walk across the street to a diner for breakfast. Thoughtful decor and nice little things like chocolate and popcorn in the room. I would stay there again.

Perfect for Sisters' Retreat
My sister and I met 'in the middle' for a short retreat in the Manchester area. We had never stayed at the Toll Road Inn before and we were certainly not disappointed. The room was large, comfortable, and clean. The lounge turned out to be a great place for us to sit to visit while we doodled in our art journals. The inn is located in a perfectly central location from Manchester to the Bromley Mtn area. We were so pleased by our stay, we're already planning to go back next year at this time.

I loved staying at this thoughtfully designed and maintained hotel. The pool was perfect on a hot July afternoon (it’s away from the road and surrounded by trees, so it feels very private). I appreciated the little details like a comfortable lodge with coffee bar and some treats waiting for me in my room when I checked in. The gentleman in the office was very helpful with restaurant recommendations too. I ate at the Copper Grouse which was excellent. I will definitely come back here next time I’m in Manchester!

Fantastic! We plan to return in the next two months! My fiance and I stayed here for snow and ski at Stratton. We LOVED the 1960’s-1970’s style of the rooms but everything was so clean well kept we felt right at home and comfortable (unlike staying at larger chain hotels where you feel you need to check for bed bugs no matter what -not here!) Owner/Manager was extremely warm and friendly and you can tell he cares about his little hotel. Kept the fireplace going, coffee station stocked, and had fresh towels ready and waiting for every time you wanted to use the hot tub! He even permitted us an allotted time to use said tub when all the time slots for the night were filled for the night.

I recently stayed near Mount Stratton and had a perfect experience. The hotel was cozy, quiet, and impeccably clean. It’s in a great location with friendly staff. The lobby was a standout with its huge windows and a massive fireplace right in the middle, creating a warm atmosphere. Plus, there are fantastic restaurants nearby for lunch or dinner, and it’s not far from the mountain. Overall, I highly recommend it for a great balance of price and quality.

It was a dark and snowy night, but the warm welcome I got at TRI was great. My room was BIG, clean and had a lovely view of small mtn and river, I believe all rooms have similar view. The bathroom, while dated, was SUPER clean (I wish my bathroom at home could be that clean ; ) If in Manchester, but skiing at OKEMO, again, I would def stay there again
