Best part: Breakfast and the views.
Communication and follow through were not what I was hoping for. We reported fire ants being at the door on the first night. Received an email saying they would have a service person address it. Next morning the ants made their way into the room. I notified staff the next morning, in person, and was assured it was taken care of. We had ants the entire time, which because more and more of a problem, as one might expect.
Additionally, we paid $300 at the Inn for various fees and I believe for cleaning. However, house keeping is not included. I cannot wrap my mind around paying premium prices for lodging and trash takeout/towels refreshed being an even further additional charge. We quickly blew through our rags and hand towels wiping ants up with soapy water. In our 5 day stay, we never had fresh towels and we took our own trash out. I just have to stop short at calling this hospitality. It's akin to a VRBO. But at a VRBO I could wash laundry and have a fridge. I don't know that we would choose this location again. I also cannot fathom hosting customers and knowing they have fire ants in their room and now personally following up with them regarding the issue.

Never expected to stay in a 4 bedroom house with 6 bathroom, 5 showers, steam room and sauna. The place was fully and beautifully funished. I would definitely book the same place for this spring or summer.

We LOVE this property!!! Each room has its own shower. The sauna and steam room are awesome. I felt we were so spoiled that we couldn't stay at other properties any more! The breakfast was healthy and delicious. Beds are firm and sheets are clean and new. Will definitely stay again when we go back to the area.

I really would love to give this place a 5 rating. In many aspects it was. However when we arrived in the evening it seemed like everything closed at 8pm according to the hostess who was a bit short with us. When we mentioned we were going for a quick swim the hostess was insistent everything closed at 8. It felt like we couldn’t do anything after 8pm so we just sat in our room with the TV on low.
The A/C was also really loud and annoying. Thankfully we were able to open the windows.
The great things about this place is the location and the staff in the morning were friendly and warm. Complete opposite of the night before.
All in all I would stay there again and hope for different staff at check in.

It was unique to be in a facility with multiple things to do, e.g. swimming pool, the pool table, a dart board, the garden, the library, etc. Negatives - very small room, no phone, no Wi-Fi in the room, dysfunctional thermostat, poorly positioned A/C unit such that cold air hits one in the face while in bed, too much of the sounds and voices from adjoining rooms is intrusive.

Spent one wonderful night at this Inn. Very personable welcome by Trinity who provided all the information we needed. Room was very cozy. Towels and linens were premium. Quiet pastoral setting. A serene setting in a gorgeous home, tucked into the mountains with a brand new farm-to-table restaurant opening--powered by solar panels--I was eminently impressed with the quality of this Inn, as well as the hospitality. We had an amazing stay at Hill Farm Inn. It had just started to snow, so we spend time curled up in front of the fireplace, in the bath tub, and enjoying the games room.
It's also perfectly located for exploring nearby Manchester and other towns.
The staff were wonderful, and provided great local tips for us to get the most out of our weekend in the area.

I want to stay here every year! Such a quaint place with lovely hosts! We loved the bon fire at night with the smores, feeding the alpacas apples and walking the grounds! The bed and breakfast is so cute and the staff are wonderfully accommodating. We stayed in the Sarasota Springs room which had a nice bathroom and luxurious bath products. The bed and pillows were super comfortable and having robes in the room was a nice touch. For those who are light sleepers, I would advise bringing a white noise machine to make it a better sleep environment. Breakfast was plentiful and delicious!

What a wonderful setting in the hills of Vermont! It's beautiful and peaceful. Our only minor complaint is that the breakfast options of eggs almost every day with no real second choice got old after awhile. But don't let that stop you. The staff is wonderful and they really care about your experience. The room was lovely.

What a beautiful time I had with my 4 adult children, 20s to 35. The rooms were comfortable an decorated beautifully. We had wine and beer from the bar, the kids played pool and darts, the boys used the jacuzzi at night and my girls used the exercise equipment. We did the hiking trails around the farm. Maria made the best breakfasts and the sweet cream bisquits and raspberry jam was amazing! Kate was also so welcoming and kind. It was relaxing and very much needed!
