Great place to stay! Staff were very helpful, room spacious and comfortable with lovely hot showers.
A variety of traditional and western food available for breakfast. Good location, easy walking distance to restaurants and markets as well as central bus stop.

Isolated area...no restaurants..no convenience stores. Construction sites. Closed businesses.
Even their own restaurant closes by 2pm...so we found out the 1st night there when we come down for dinner....We left and found a fantastic place down by The Mekong Waterfront

When we arrived, there were no greetings and no one to take our luggage upstairs but no biggie. Check in was easy and we went to our room.
First, the lobby was lovely and decked with holiday decor. It felt modern and old at the same time which gave it a great feel and look. They have plenty of modern, comfy seats to sit and hang out. In the lobby area they also have a coffee/beverage/snack stand. We didn’t get anything from them because the prices are more reasonable on the road, but it’s convenient. The hallways are dated as well as the room. We stayed in the Grand Luxury Double. The space is great. Very spacious. It is more dated than lux, but workable. You definitely get a City view. We left the sign on the door to clean the room, but no came and cleaned the room. I had to call to get fresh towels, water and for them to take out the trash. The cleaner acted like we were bothering her, but it didn’t phase us. The pool didn’t look that inviting, so we didn’t use it. The best thing about the hotel is the breakfast!! The variety was great! I love that they served numerous Laotian dishes and minimal western dishes. They stayed true to their culture. They served chicken noodle soup, pork noodle soup, pan fried noodles, fried rice, different meats, salads, juices, eggs, sausages, breads, fruit and more!! All so good! Eating places are on the same road, but to have more variety requires a 10-15 minute walk. To get to the mall is a 20-25 minute walk. Overall, it was a decent stay.

Hotel was nice, with very good service. But it was not centrally located and in need of an update. There were random nails and objects sticking out of the wall in the bathroom, the shower head didn't work and there were problems with the door lock.

I stayed at this property for three weeks and I liked it. It’s a good location for what I needed. The breakfast was good and offered fresh noodles daily as well as a complimentary latte, cappuccino, or expresso. They also offer laundry services if needed. It’s easy enough to catch a Tuk Tuk to anywhere you want or you can walk to some local restaurants and coffee shops. They also have a rooftop pool and patio area on the 8th floor. The only negative I noticed was my hot water didn’t stay hot for very long at all during my daily shower. Other than that I enjoyed my stay.

This was probably once a really nice place. Now it is a bit run down. Pool and gym were also closed for maintenance.
Staff was nice. Wifi was good. Hot water & water pressure were excellent. Breakfast was great.
The location is odd. Not near downtown or orher restaurants & shops really. It is near the mknument & morning market.
I'd suggest a different location (more central) to others.

Very Disappointing Experience – Rat in the Room!!!

2-night stay: the room and food were acceptable, but the overall experience was extremely disappointing.
Firstly, the breakfast was poor and there weren’t enough sunbathing chairs, so we couldn’t enjoy the pool. But the real issue and the reason for this review, was what happened during our stay. On the first night, we heard some strange noises, but we didn’t think too much about it. On the second night, the noises became much louder and we realised it was a rat scratching at our bathroom door. The noise was so loud and disturbing that we couldn’t sleep at all that night.
When we informed the receptionist about the issue the next morning at checkout and requested a refund, they completely dismissed our concerns. Their English proficiency was poor, so we showed them a video of the rat as proof. Despite this evidence, they refused to take any responsibility or offer any form of compensation. Instead, they insisted that we settle the food bill. Since we were in a hurry to catch our train, we reluctantly paid the bill in good faith, hoping that Hotels.com would help resolve the issue. Unfortunately, Hotels.com’s refund process is fundamentally flawed — they require approval from the hotel to process any refund. The hotel denied any knowledge of the issue, which is outrageous considering the proof we provided. I’m incredibly disappointed by the whole situation. I have been booking through Hotels.com for over 10 years without ever filing a complaint until now. An absolute disgrace.

Quiet Comfortable Hotel

I chose to get the airport pick up and drop off which was very efficient, the front desk staff are friendly and knowledgable. I also had laundry done there and no issues with that and fairly reasonably priced. Room was clean and spacious and was cleaned everyday. Shower was amazing - water pressure decent and easy to use. Great sunset from the rooftop pool which was also a nice area to sit and relax in. Breakfast buffet was fairly basic similar to other hotels I’ve stayed at in SE Asia however main dinner menu had a good selection and the food I had there was good. The hotel is within a short distance of Paxutay Monument and the indoor market. Lots of ATMs about and a great cafe down the road. The only negative I could say is some parts of the hotel could do with a refurbishment but this didn’t affect my stay.

Not the best in Vientiane, but it's OK

All the staff are friendly, except for the manager or supervisor – a man who sits at the end of the counter and makes you feel unwelcome. The room cleaners are excellent, and the swimming pool and food are both fantastic.

Room was not expected. Photos online looks very clean and modern but when arrived the walls looked like they paint to cover the mold floor was dirty. Limited supply on bathroom essentials. Room service made the bed but did not change the sheets or pillowcases that was needed. We booked the room for 10 days and had the same sheets. Did not have wash cloths, shower gel was limited. Service desk was very nice and friendly. However the gym and pool was 24 hours open. Floors was uneven. Room above made a lot of noise at 3-3:30 am by moving furnitures sounds like.

The staff is wonderful and accommodating. I accidentally overbooked my nights and we could not stay but were able to switch a day for when I returned. They were so helpful and friendly. The breakfast was amazing and the dining area was very clean.

Staff was somewhat welcoming but didn’t seem like they knew what they were doing. Don’t bother dining at their downstairs restaurant because they’ll be sold out of everything and not know how to communicate things properly. I’m a Laotian myself and was even speaking the native language and still had lots of issues.

This hotel is very hot. The air conditioning is not working properly. The room smelled like a rotten sewer. I booked three nights got the biggest room. It was really uncomfortable to sleep due to it being too hot and the toilet smelled. I’ll never book at this hotel again.

The hotel is nice overall. The room was clean and very attractive. The only problem is the bedbug bites! It looked fabulous, but coming away with 6-7 bites was not nice. I don't know if I was unlucky or how widespread the problem was, but I believe I got the bites at this property.

The hotel lobby was nice, but the hallways and restaurant were not as new or attractive. The dish I had for dinner and the free breakfast i had in the restaurant were both fine. The staff was helpful, check in and check out efficient.

This is a little ways away from the very center of town, but still was a nice area. There was some very noisy music the one night I was there - not sure if it was from the hotel or a nearby property.

This property has a really funky, colourful, modern and vintage vibe to it. It's deceptively fancy on the inside and the rooms are very cool and comfortable.
Very happy with our room and it's better value for money than the other ones round town. 15 walk to the shopping centre too and there's always taxis outside if you need one. Will definitely book this one again next time we're back.

Great boutique hotel in Vientiane

A lovely boutique hotel, just off the main street, and close to a good range of restaurants, markets, banks etc. Great swimming pool and gym on the top floor, along with the views.
The included breakfast (buffet) was first rate, with a changing selection.
The hotel staff coundn`t be more friendly and helpful. I would stay there again

Ood price hotel but dont expect a lot

We choose this hotel for our 2 day stay befire going to Singapore. We had pre-arranged a minivan pick up from the airport which they forgot to organize so we made our own arrangements 40 mins later. On arrival at ghe hotel the check in was slow and frequently interrupted by other people, phone calls etc and a half meant apology re the forgotten taxi pick up.
When we got to the room we found they had put us in a standard room and not the balcony suite we had booked - so another trip to the front desk to be told they were all occupied and there was a possibility of one avaiilable on the second day in the afternoon. USD5 compensation was offered, so hours of wadyer discussions rnsued ruining our stay.
Breakfast is very poor and slow supply of food to eat. - staff totally uninterested .
Location is average and 6 min tuk tuk ride to the night market area.

The hotel was close and walking distance to the riverside and night market. Decor was nice but seemed cleanliness of it was a bit lacking. My room window did not open up to the outside so it felt stuffy in an already small room. The breakfast selection was not tasty. The smoking area was right outside the hotel doors. It was a small sitting area with a tuk tuk driver constantly asking me where I wanted to go when I was clearly just out to smoke. The twin room only had a blanket for one of the beds. The staff said they would check if there were any available since laundry was being done. I received a fitted sheet 20 minutes later. I did not like that there was no option to shade the glass to the toilet or shower area especially when I was sharing the twin room with my father...so no shower for me. Glad I only stayed one night.

Practcally everthing about this hotel is excellent.
Staff extremely helpful, rooftop pool was good for a city centre hotel, great breakfast. Would certainly recommend and stay here again.
A little too far from night market and main restaurant area if you don't like walking. We are happy to walk but you could always get a tuk tuk. The are other restaurants closer by.

Be aware of the safety of your cash

Reception staff very helpful, dining room and lobby are lovely. The rest of the areas could do with a bit of care and attention. Breakfast was great. My reason for the poor score is that 700 US dollars went missing. from our safe. We checked our money on the Tuesday evening It was all there and we saw the money envelope was there when we took everything out of the safe on Thursday morning when we checked out but we did not count the content. We checked our money on arrival at our hotel in Vang Vieng all that was in the money envelope was 200$ in 10 dollar notes, 45$ in 5 dollar notes and 23$ in 1 dollar notes. 700 $ in 20 $ notes had gone. Whilst travelling to Vang Vieng the money was never out of our possession so the only time the money could have been stolen was at the Azalea Parkview Hotel. We contacted the hotel they checked CCTV and said it was impossible that the money could have been taken from our safe they also intimated that we were fraudulently claiming it had been stolen, which made me feel quite intimidated. I made a report to the police in Luang Prabang but they cannot investigate as it is out of their district. I am sure the hotel will respond to my review but I note on Tripadvisor that someone else had a similar experience. We just want to make sure others take care of their money when staying at this hotel

Easy access to the city and sights. They have done a lot of work to make it seem fancier than it is, but it is clean and the staff are lovely and helpful. Pool area on the roof is basic but nice for a quick swim.

Friendly staff really made for a nice stay, while the room itself was quite pleasant - the jetted tub was unexpected but welcome for relaxing. The location is convenient to Patuxay and the Morning Market as well as many other sights. Downsides are you shouldn't expect to see azaleas or a park from the hotel. Even from the rooftop pool, there's not much of a view. Breakfast is limited and repetitious by Asian standards, but much better than I would expect to find in most inexpensive places in the US.
