I stayed for the 3 nights and it was great! The room I booked was the triple bed and it had everything we needed. Beds were comfortable and everything was exceptionally clean! Staff were very welcoming upon arrival and departure. Don’t have any complaints whatsoever! Overall amazing stay!
Only thing to consider, the room is very compact therefore if you are coming with a lot of luggage I can be hard to maneuver, but definitely possible.

Great staff and location (5 min walk from Sensoji), however room is surprisingly small(based off pictures) and could only open a suitcase on the bed itself or directly infront of the door which was a huge annoyance. Tbh we ended up rotating the mattress jamming it into the corner so we could position our suitcases to the side to flip open when needed so we didnt have to rezip them each time to access our belongings which after our first night was a bit irritating especially when just fetching one thing from inside. This did mean ny partner was crawling over me to get in & out of bed but was worth the space. For the price this is a tradeoff but just letting others staying here know cause we didnt anticipate the small size of the room. Conversely decent bathroom with a bath which was a nice evening winddown for our final days in Japan

Super easy access, great location, clean. I expected the room to be small but not « that » small though. A bit humid and the street noise can be annoying. Great hotel if like us you are just looking for a clean bed near the metro station. Would stay here again, the view from the terrace is amazing!

The staff were lovely however the rooms were very small. Which is to be expected but I could hardly open my suitcase. The bed was quite hard and lumpy but manageable if you’re just using this room purely for sleeping, it’s too small to spend too much time in. The hotel only had one elevator which could be quite slow in the morning however the rooftop had phenomenal views and plenty of seating, plus a vending machine with beer so a great sunset spot. The hotel was very close to the train station and walking distance to Sensoji temple and shops. Thankyou to the staff but just evaluate the pros and cons of what you’re needing the hotel for when booking.

The rooms, specifically the ceilings, were covered in mold with physical signs of water damage as well. Additionally the rooms were had peeling wall coverings and mold in bathrooms. The interior rooms had a view of a wall and were like a dungeon. The triple room is far too small to accommodate 3 people with barely space to stand. Finally, the hotel would not offer a refund due to their habitable rooms.

The room was small by US standards but very comfortable and so well organized that you don’t really mind the size. The rooftop patio is wonderful and the view is amazing. You can't beat the location either. The metro is a short walk away and so are several sights worth seeing.

The only downside is the smell in room. My first assigned room had very bad, kinda like urine smell. Even room spray couldn’t help. So I informed the staff and she kindly changed the room to the 10th floor. Even the new room still got a bit of smell, but I can still handle that.

Convenient location, close to attractions. Definitely, get room with river view otherwise it will feel cramped. Staff are very helpful. our initial room was without and smaller, we switched to room at with river view which was bigger at no extra charge. Rooms are still small, if you want a bigger room, get room with two beds.

Hotel was in a great location near train stations. Very convenient. Family mart across the street and Aeon supermarket at the end of block on both sides. Street shopping and small shrine close by. Don quijote is a quick 15 minute walk away with other shopping vendors along the way. Seamless check in and the staff were very helpful and super respectful so much so I wish I could bottle it and take it home.
The hotel was within 5 minutes walk of Asakusa Station, and Nakamise which is the main tourist shopping street which takes you to Senso-Ji temple.
We found it best to do our shopping in the streets further away from that area. I highly recommend Hotel Amanek Asakusa Ekimae as a place to relax and chill.

Room far too small. No room to move around the bed. Two people cannot pass each other at the foot of the bed. Bed is on a platform so anyone with mobility issues will need to contort themselves to get into bed. No blockout blinds and no noise proofing so expect to be awake at 4am. Only positive is the river view, if you have one. Would avoid this hotel if travelling to Tokyo again.

Location is good, train underpass is just at the corner with main attractions within walkable distance. However hotel is in a very old condition, room space is small where you can’t open up two luggages at a time. Customer service is disappointing too, staff can only understand minimal basic English and when I asked if they can help to call a foot massage shop for reservations due to language barrier and overseas call charges. they said no they don’t do that. This is the first time ever a hotel said they can’t help to call for reservations.

We enjoyed our stay at Hotel Amanek. It is English friendly. The rooms are space conservation and practical. We received cleaned towels daily. The rooftop view is stunning. It is a great view of Tokyo Skytree, Sumida River and the Golden Flame. The hotel is conveniently located by Senso-ji Jinga. The breakfast was delicious and the staff are very friendly.

We like the location, easy to access via bus from Tokyo Station or subway, but the subway is usually too crowded for visitors to navigate with luggage in tow. The subway is the best way to go places without baggage over buses. Being in Asakusa, a block from the riverwalk, and nearby Skytree made walking around the area a good hotel to be at. The rooftop view was sensational. The only drawback for us was how small and cramped the room was. Room was very damp and humid with a wet towel smell. The bathroom doors also auto shut so you'll hear everyone waking up in the morning and the bathroom door slamming.

Location and transport wise is lovely, convenience stores nearby. Asakusa temple also a short 10-15 mins walk as well as a few good hidden food options. Near 2 metro lines making it easy to move around Tokyo
There's only 1 small lift to go up to the floors where the rooms are so in the mornings and nights, you'll have to wait for a lift or 2 to go back to the room since it gets crowded very quickly.

Everything was great. The only thing that stopped me giving 5 stars overall was the rooms being very small. We knew this when we booked so it wasn’t a surprise. We slept well and the air conditioning was effective enough to cool the room despite very high temperatures outside. It was clean and the shower was excellent
