We didn't purchase breakfast with our reservation, but it's served in the coffee shop at the ground level. We ate at the coffee shop for breakfast during our stay, menu variety was good and prices are reasonable.

Bathroom for our room is a little tight, but they do offer public bath on 2nd floor (Lobby), however, space is limited as well.

Oedo line and Asakusa line are within 5 min of walk.

Laundry was horrible. Only 2 machines (washer & dryer combo) available for 12 floor hotel! A big load takes at least 4 hours to get done. Not counting if u have to wait for a machine to be available.
Staff were helpful & friendly.
We couldn’t get extra pillows for all the nights we stayed. Pillows that were given were too flat. Needed 2 for support.

Toilets are a little smaller and the onsen is barebones but nothing much to complain about at this price point and location. The road can be a little noisy at times and air conditioning only runs on heating or fan mode during winters so do take note! Otherwise very friendly and helpful staff, you could select thicker pillows from the lobby, subjected to availability, and the area around Kuramae has lots of food and cafe options and a stone's throw from Asakusa without the crowd.

I was surprised this was a 3* hotel. Despite what the Expedia listing said. There was no air conditioning (apparently it gets shut off certain parts of the year). Wifi kicked us off every few minutes so we burned through our eSIM cards, and overall feels very dated.

The aircon was not working for the duration of the stay and the rooms were hot and stuffy. The staff advised that the aircon was off due to maintenance, but we were there for 10 days and it never came back on.

The hotel staff was very friendly! Chose this hotel because it said that staff offers several languages, and although they didn’t speak much English, there was no problem communicating! We met the cleaning staff in the morning and she was one of the kindest warmest people we’ve met in general! Would be happy to stay here again!

My son wasn’t thrilled with the 10 am check out (earlier than the other 2 places we stayed in Japan but not uncommon). I didn’t have a chance to check out the onsen. Next time!

The experience was great, the staff did the best they could regardless of the language barrier and it felt very welcoming. The cleaning was great as well, we always had fresh towels and clean bed sheets everyday. We also stopped at the nice restaurant on the first which was a great way to start our trip in Japan. This hotel is conveniently located near Asakusa station and Kuramae also having the 711 across the street was a major plus. Would recommend for sure for those looking to stay in Asakusa to see the temple which is approximately a 16 minute walk.

Hotel felt calm and relaxing after visiting a lot of busy cities. Loved the restaurants and cafes all around. Near the monorail which was convenient and easy to get to. We were able to go to Akihabara, Tokyo Skytree and Ueno easily. Asakusa/Sensoji Temple was super close to walk to. My bf and I didn't like the pillows that we had the first night but the staff informed us that there are additional pillows at the front desk by noon, so we were able to pick up softer pillows the next day. Overall, I would definitely stay here again!

The room is clean. We got the room with 2 bunk beds and its good enough for our family of 4. We had enough room to open our large luggages on the floor. The bathroom is typical Japanese size so its on the smaller side. The hotel has 2 laundry machines so we had to wait but the staff was great. They offer free matcha latte which was good. It close to the train station, a grocery store and a couple of convenience stores so I like the location.

Overall a practical good value for money option in Tokyo. Nice small room that’s clean and well equipped. They provide pjs and slippers like all hotels do in Japan. Located near major lines of metro that connect to all touristic areas in Tokyo including airports. Walking distance to the famous Senso-ji temple. Loved the available complimentary coffee machine with hot & cold beverages including matcha. There’s also a microwave in the public space. The onsen was a nice experience, I was lucky though that nobody was there when I went because I would be quite self conscious without any clothes on in public. Facial products are not provided because you can use them from the public bath but other complimentary toiletries are offered (toothbrushes + paste). I liked the public balcony at the reception. They kept my luggage after check out all day which was helpful although one downside is that checkout is at 10 am and they charge extra for every hour later.

We stayed at this property for 4 nights in a bunkbed room for 4 people. The room was a little small with the bunkbeds and the bathroom was very small, but had everything we needed. We especially liked the public baths for men and women, the availability of pillow selection and other amenities in the lobby, the convenient coin laundry and the little enclosed tea room in the lobby which we used for meeting with friends during our stay. The property is very convenient to the Sumida river walk and subway stations, as well as lots of good options for different types of restaurants in the area within walking distance and a grocery store across the street. Neighborhood was quiet. The service was excellent and we would stay here again!

The hotel staff are knowledgeable and friendly. They can speak in multiple languages (English, mandarin, Japanese). The location is next to Lawson and subway station. The indoor onsen was perfect for a shower and a short relaxing bath. The only small issues that I have

1. Buzzing noise in onsen (it should be replaced with calm soothing Japanese music)
2. 2nd floor lobby was a bit too cigarette smoke odour. As the smoking room is nearby. I just hate the smell of smoke (any kind)
3. The pillow sucks. However, this was remedied by available extra pillows.
4. The bathtub was small but i didn’t use it because shower in onsen was available.
5. The sink to faucet distance was very short. (It’s strange)

I recommend stay at this hotel. It is million times better than any average rate hotel in North America. No room tax and it was very affordable. For family of four, we booked two rooms weekday rate was under $90.

We stayed here for 5 nights while exploring Tokyo. Things we loved: the staff were great. The onsen was a huge bonus for us (helping us to understand how to properly use one before going to other places). We also liked the laundry facilities and complementary drinks. Our room was 2 x bunk beds, so a little tight for 4 but everyone was happy. The negatives - just breakfast. This was provided in the cafe below but was very 'japanese/ western'. We had better breakfast experiences elsewhere. That said, it really wasn't bad! Hense 5*!

This was an amazing hotel in a fantastic location. One train to Haneda and close to two train lines so you can get to all areas of Tokyo very easily. Clean hotel woth comfortable beds and a good range of anmen provided. Onsen was fantastic.
Only downside was the WiFi was very poor, pretty much non-existent most of the time.

Great location! Plenty of convenience stores nearby, train station entrance across the street and Senso-ji temples is only a 10 min walk from the hotel.

Staff were very friendly and able to help us with any questions we had.

Negative things about the room is that it is a bit small, but given the room had 2 bunk beds in there, it was to be expected. It didn't cause too big of an issue. The batheroom is very small as well and we had a bit of trouble moving around in there.

This hotel is very close to multiple subway stops, so it was easy to get to other places in Tokyo. It's also very close to a river and multiple attractions like Sensoji. As with all Tokyo rooms (or so I'm told) the standard double room itself was very small, with barely any space to do anything but sleep. However, during our latest stay here they upgraded our room to the Japanese style double room (due to no remaining standard double rooms), which was much larger and very comfortable. The standard double room did not have much of a view (it directly faced a wall of another building) which wasn't that big of a deal since we were out for most of the day.

This was a wonderful hotel. Very close to a transit line and 10-15 minute walk to all core things in Asakusa. Liked that it was quiet and bed and room very comfortable. We stayed in a Japanese style room and beds very comfortable and it was spacious. My son loved the manga library.

The room was too warm to be comfortable

The hotel located close to the subway and train stations, which was very convenient. Staff at the hotel were friendly when we checked in. The room was small but clean. We noticed the temperature in the room couldn’t be adjusted and went down to inquire about it. We were told that at this time of the year (beginning of April), the hotel only had the central heat on, we were suggested to open the window. We ended up opening the window since the room was warm and stuffy. However, the traffic outside of the hotel was pretty loud so we had to use earplugs at night. We probably wouldn’t come back again since it’s not the most comfortable to have the window open and earplugs in when trying to get some sleep.

A wonderful little place close enough to main attractions but distant enough to feel like part of Tokyo vis a vis a tourist.

We like the luggage storage option before and after we checked out. They have a public bath which was good. Daily water package if you stay over 2 nights. Could use more storage like drawers or rack above the coat hanging rod. Air conditioning wasn’t working when we checked in. Called front desk first night and they switched it on. Same thing happened second night and they said open the window. Messaged them again with my dissatisfaction and they fixed it promptly. They said they had to rotate from heating cooling on each floor. Third night there was no problem with the air conditioning. There’s a coffee/tea/hot chocolate machine in the lobby. There are no stairs and only 2 elevators so there could be a wait if it gets busy. Overall a decent stay.
