Great for solo travlers.
I booked a dormitory for 2 weeks and for a great price. Check in is open until 11pm if im right so its great for if you accidently get lost in public transport. Rooms for the dormitory were very nice. Shower was also great they provide shampoo conditioner and body wash already in the shower. The laundry machine is ok. Took 2-3 hour to dry clothes due to it being a all in one washer. I did get locked out from going into my floor. Was out all night drinking and tried to get back in but someone had put the security lock from the inside so i was stuck for 9 hour trying to get into my room. Staff did end up removing the lock. Still receives 5 stars for being such an awesome place to stay. Met many cool new people in the dining area and the smoking area on the roof. Cannot recommend more if youre solo traveling. Great for parties as well though because they do offer private rooms for extra.

Located near Kuramae Subway Station. Easy Acess from and to Haneda or Narita Airport. Property was just as described, but my husband wasn't too impressed with the lighting inside; it was a bit dark for him. Shared bathroom area was decent. A full sized mirror behind the door inside the room would be a nice touch. Ear plugs were provided as the sound proof was poor. You could hear conversation in the hallway. For budget travelers, this hostel serves its purpose.

The hostel is located in the heart of the Kuramae area. Walking distance to the metro, convenience stores and restaurants.
The hostel staff are friendly and helpful. The hostel does lack with social elements with not having a common area. The only area where you can sit is in the cafe down stairs. They have a small kitchen with a dinning table. You never really feel comfortable with paying customers eating and drinking in the cafe. The rooms have 14 capsule beds. The top bunks are extremely hard to get into especially if you are tall like myself. I rolled my ankle and cut myself to get down the ladder. The rooms also lack in ventilation. So they can be quite hot and stuffy when sleeping. I would recommend them deleting the capsule bed system and using normal bunk beds. I would also recommend the hostel to use the roof top as a communal area. All they need to do is install a timber deck floor over the existing concrete floor and add a small gazebo for when it rains. They could also run group activities such as walking tours and food tours. For a reasonable price. All a free breakfast. Small and simple. Then the ratings will rise.

One of the better hostels in Tokyo, for the price I payed via Expedia this was a steal.
The surrounding area is beautiful with a lot to explore, a 7/11 and Family Mart are located near the hostel and very walkable.
The only small issue I had during my stay was the bed and the size of the room, as a 186 cm person could barely fit in the bed and the room was so small that I could even open my luggage on the ground.
Other than the room my stay was great and I would greatly recommend to stay here while traveling on a budget.

Last day of a 2 week stay in Tokyo choose this because it said spa and was low priced. However spa was in the building but cost 7000 yen. As a guest and not one you could walk in reservation required. See atached photo. Dorm room mattress was thin and not comfortable and dorm was very hot. But the staff was super friendly and helpfull.

Amazing Hostel In a Quiet Neighborhood
Amazing place. Everyone who works there is really nice. The beds are big and comfortable. Plenty of bathrooms. Very clean and quiet. I liked the location. It's in a more residential area but with easy train access to Shinduku and other parts of Tokyo. It's walking distance to Senso-ji, which was lovely to walk to for sunrise before the crowds get there. I highly recommend.

I enjoyed the coziness of the place. The bar/restaurant was quaint and served nice food, the staff were friendly, and the hostel is in an area that’s not buzzing with many tourists.
The only thing I didn’t like was the size of my room. However, I got used to the size so it wasn’t a huge worry. Overall, I enjoyed my stay and would recommend FOCUS to friends who might want to visit Tokyo for a short trip.

It’s brand new, nice ambient, clean, simple but practical and easy access and easy check in and out. The bar and dining on the ground flour for the people to mingle and have some food with Djing music.
Lift to the all flours, not crowded.
However, the shower is only one in each flour (3 toilets and hand washing basins are excellent), which we can go to others flours for us to use. But it’s more hustle and it you are a lady you wouldn’t want to go to mixed or men’s shower. That’s why you are staying in the ladies dormitory.
It would b a bonus if the toilets are washlet, but sadly no.
Overall an ideal and great place that I would definitely be back and recommend it to anyone who will like to keep the cost cheap yet a great value for money.

Loved this place and quite new. Everything is kept clean and my experience was happy here that I extended my stay by 3 nights staying 8 days.

I stayed in the female dorms and I felt it was safe. Yhe rooms have code you need to put in which can take time to get used to and memorize. The cube was nice and clean and I had plenty of room which I stored alot of my stuff in. There is a luggage rack. The room has an air purifier and big aircon for cooling or heating. Privacy curtains and everyone who stayed were nice and quiet.
There are 3 toilets which were always clean. There is 1 shower but I never had to wait for anyone and was always clean. There is shampoo, conditioner and body was available to use. Bring your own towel or for 300 yen you can get a towel and face towel to rent. The bathroom is spacious so people can brush teeth, do make up, hairdryers etc.
There are washing machines on the shared floors. Wifi is great and there are two pokemon stops.

個室の仕切りが板なので、隣の人の音や周りの人のいびきが気になります。2階の個室の仕切り板は天井までないので、隣から覗かれそうでした(実際は見えないかもしれませんが) 個室内に持ち込まない大きなバッグは個室の外の床にかためて置いてあるので、持っていかれないか心配でした。その分 料金は安くて､チェックインのスタッフさんは親切だったのはよかったと思います。

Hôtel très propre et bien situé, cependant les lits dans le dortoir était horrible, vraiment mince c'était comme dormir directement sur une planche... L'aire commune est très agréable le matin mais l'après-midi c'est un café et il n'y a donc plus vraiment de place pour s'installer, et ce n'est pas très invitant si l'on veut se faire à manger.

駅から近くて便利だった！1Fのカフェがたまたま行ってみたかったカフェだったので、閉店間際の混んでない時間に利用できたので、とてもよかった。ドミトリーは長期滞在の人の洗濯物などでちょっと臭くて湿度が高かった。エアコンをガンガンにかけてくれていたので、我慢できるレベルだった。部屋にドラム洗濯機があり、乾燥までできるようだったので、長期滞在や旅行中の洗濯もできるので、そういう方にも便利だなと思った。

諸般の事情により長期滞在中です。コスパ的には満足しています、長期ゲスト(何年も)のマナー違反が多い気がします。ドミトリーを土足、ベット内で飲酒飲食、夜中のドアの開閉音(バーン)で目が覚める、独り言が大好きなおじさん(こわい)等が気にならない人にはお勧め。移動を考えていますがめんどくさいので、、、短期はいいが長期は部屋を見てる決めることをお勧めします。
