Just minutes from Asakusa Station and surrounded by street food heaven near Senso-ji. A Family Mart on the ground floor was a game-changer for late-night snacks and quick meals – onigiri, hot foods, treats for the kids!

We spent four nights here and love it. The room is spacious for family to keep our luggages and stroller ( twin room).

The hotel is closed to Asakusa Sensoji and subway Tawaramachi station. It also has family Mart on the first floor which is very convenient.

You can take the train from Narita Airport to Asakusa station and walk to the hotel (800m approximately).

Plus, it offers you luggages storage services on check-in and check-out day free of charge.

One thing to note that the hotel has no microwave either in room or floor services. It does have laundry services.

We really enjoyed our stay here. The location is incredible. Just steps from multiple train stations, surrounded by great food, shopping, and the lifesaver that is a Family Mart right downstairs.
Rooms were exactly what you’d expect for Japan: compact, comfortable, and with a surprisingly great bath.

A couple of things to note: breakfast was disappointing, and even though it was included, we ended up eating elsewhere most mornings. The space is small and the options were limited if you’re a westerner.
Also, more bins around the hotel would be helpful, and the smoking room being right near reception really takes away from the experience.

Good value for money

Conveniently located to the Ginza line and had many grocery stores and convenience stores around. Felt like a very safe area as well. The rooms were as expected for Tokyo, small, but room was well designed and had all we need. There were nice amenities, place to store luggage, umbrellas for when it rained, additional room necessities like slippers/razors/ face wash etc.

We enjoyed our stay at this hotel - easy access to convenient stores, train, food and main attractions. Liked the laundry machine - it can be cleaned before use and there is a security code to the machine. The only downside is there was a big stain on the carpet. We will return again and recommend others.

Amazing hotel in the perfect location

What a great hotel as a base to explore Tokyo! Based above a family mart, check in was on time at 3pm, the room was clean and large, with 3 large single beds (i am 1.9m and still found the beds large!), clean bathroom and enough space for bags. Lots of laundry rooms on several of the floors and really close to the ginza line. Look forward to staying here again. Only recommendation is a plastic recycling bin in each room.

We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel, it was really perfectly located close to the Senjo-ji temple in a nice neighborhood with a subway station and many food options close by. The hotel room was clean and confortable. We were really happy with our stay. We would recommend it! Thank you!

The hotel was ok. The room is clean enough. I would appreciate better pillows quality. The area is within walkable distance to the main Asakusa area which is fantastic. It’s also close to Yayoi- a great Japanese breakfast place to get a bite before everything opens or if you are jet-lagged.

Enjoyed our stay here! We did the online check-in option but they still had to wait in line for other people to do their check-ins before we could get our keys so didn't really save that much time. The rooms are spacious and the shower is awesome! There is an area to store luggage but it was all full when we arrived so we couldn't lock our stuff up. We did still leave our suitcases there and didn't have an issue. Would recommend staying here.

Henn na Hotel was about as basic as they come. Room was small but not too small. Beds were firm but still comfortable. Towels were thin but clean and they did the trick. Amenities were available but no body lotion, which I didn't pack. Didn't expect the rooms to be serviced daily, but they were.

Hotel was located very close to subway station and all the attractions in Asakusa. Restaurants and convenience stores all around.

Wish there was at least ONE English speaking channel in the TV. And we didn't realize there wasn't a front desk where we could get help with directions, etc. We were definitely on our own.

Please consider putting 1 in the bedroom - loan to guests.
We enjoyed the buffet Breakfast: Japanese, Indian & Western food, small cafe with lots of surprise.
Please consider providing shuttle service to 2 tourist sights eg. Senso ji Shrine.

We stayed 2 nights and this room was impeccable. The bathroom was spotless, bed made to perfection, and we had no complaints about the room at all. We didn’t hear any noise either from the 8th floor, room closest to the elevators.
Close to train line, about a 6 minute walk
Washer and dryer combo machine works great but even for 6 small pieces of clothing we needed 2 hours for wash and initial dry, then 3 extra dries at 20 min each.. just an FYI for anyone thinking about using them. Not a terrible thing since we were at the hotel anyway, but plan accordingly.

We really loved this hotel and would def stay again.

Of all the hotels we stayed at in Japan, this was our favourite. Friendly staff, clean and comfortable. Very conveniently located in the heart of Asakusa, you can step outside for a stroll to the various restaurants and bars but the hotel itself was quiet
Easy walk to Kappabashi and even Ueno and Akihabara were under an hour’s walk away

Great value and very convenient

Typical size of room in Tokyo. The design is cute and tidy. The Japanesque room set up made it a bit more challenging for bags and with a family with young child, we needed some imagination to fit in the luggage and have some room to breath but manageable. We find the place very clean, and housekeeping was good and eco friendly. The self check in process was fun for the little ones, and there is staff reachable by a phone call. We found the location very convenient for our travel in Tokyo, with two small playground nearby and a Family Mart convenience store on the premise. Also close by to 2 public transit stations on different lines make it pretty easy to travel. Sound proofing was very good and we had great sleep there. Great value and would definitely recommend.

The hotel is basic and not expensive. The virtual check-in was kind of fun! There’s a great view of the Skytree on the roof. Very conveniently located for Sumida Park, Senso-ji and Nakamise-dori Street, Kappabashi and Hoppy Street.
The room we had was very dark and even though we were there for 5 nights, our bed linens and towels got changed, our room was never fully cleaned.

Most hotels have lots of front desk staff even if some other things are lacking. This is an interesting one where they cut on front desk completely but have very good facilities overall. So be prepared to deal with machines for check in, bag storage, coin change, or use the 24-hour phone for help. Otherwise, excellent location near Asakusa sites and at least 3 train/metro stations. Family mart on ground floor and rooftop patio views. 2-twin-bed room was more spacious than expected. We got the breakfast, and we were happy we did as they had plenty of good offerings, Japanese and Indian mostly, although cheaper options are easy to come nearby by if you don't need the convenience or don't want to spend the extra money.

Lovely Stay in Asakusa

We had 5 nights here. We booked the 3 twin beds option. The room was big enough to open our luggages and move around. Keep in mind, no front desk clerk, but a cute hologram who will greet you and assist you step by step in checking in. If ever you need to contact the hotel, there is a QR code you scan and it takes you to the hotel's page and you can type your questions and concerns.

I had to message the hotel, because I got small insect bites on my ankles. Assuming it was from the carpet. It wasn't bed bugs. More like gnats. I messaged the hotel asap and asked them to vacuum the whole room. We came back in the evening and the room was clean. No further incidents.

Hotel is near the Ginza station. Family mart is down stairs which was great. Walkable to the Sensoji temple, Uniqlo and Don Qui Asakusa. Go to the rooftop and you have a view of the pretty Tokyo Skytree and see the lighta at night. I will definitely book this hotel again when. I visit Tokyo again.

I’ve been looking forward to booking this hotel a year in advance. I did not regret the decision. The check in was fun and simple to do. There is a convenience store literally next door where I can buy all my wants and needs, including an ATM to help me out with extra yen for the trip. The rooftop gave me an exhilarating view of the Tokyo Skytree which I will never forget. And the room was nice and tidy enough for a single person to rest and enjoy. I highly recommend this place for those who want not only a different experience, but also at an affordable price of a 3-star hotel. Definitely coming back to this hotel for my next trip to Tokyo again!

Automation. Easy check in and out. Has washing machine/dryer on several floors (very convenient). Also room has LG steam cleaning machine. In the lobby, it has vaccume machine where you can use to vaccume the air out off the bag containing clothes so that you can have more room in your luggage. Rooms are small (expected) and building is little old and dark.
