It was a good place, I really enjoyed it and I think I will be going back again. This hotel has everything you need for a good stay. I was there with my two teenagers and they really loved that place. The only complaint was that during our stay they never came to clean our room.

The room was supposed to be Barrier Free (Accessible) but a small manual wheelchair did not fit between the couch and the wall or the end of the bed and the wall so I could not access even the side of one of the beds without moving furniture. The room is too small for a wheelchair as is the bathroom. The \"Roll in shower\" and the toilet had a 50mm step and were very difficult to use for a full time wheelchair user, even with doors open. This room may be ok for able bodied people but cannot be considered an Accessible or Barrier Free room.

Property is very well located and was very clean. Accessible room is very small and impossible to get around past the beds even for a small manual wheelchair. Bathroom was also small but quite usable. No front desk or reception staff at the hotel. All self service with online check in (via camera at the property)

We loved the proximity to Senso-ji Temple and Skytree. Easy to travel to other areas of Tokyo including Ueno, Shibuya and Odaiba. Convenient for Narita Airport. Hotel was clean and had everything we needed. Would stay at Playsis Asakusa again!

It is a youth hostel. Good location but you should think twice about it if you come with the elderly.

The property was unsafe. The top bunk bed had 2 thin mattress with one being too long overhanging over the ladder so unsafe to climb up and down for my child. The tatami bed was falling apart. The sofa bed had springs exposed and was uneven. The whole room smelt so bad of mould. Also found cockroaches. We had no replacement towels for over a week and only got new ones because we contacted them. Breakfast was just a piece of bread. Would not recommend this place

The train station is about 10 minutes away. That is also where you wil find the nearest restaurant as there are few businesses nearby. The 7-11 was also about 10 minutes away as well so you must prepare

The room was very small but we only used it to spend the nights. It was good for the price. No elevator so be ready to carry your bags and leave your shoes in a communal area. The windows do not open so no fresh air. We enjoyed the shower and the morning bread provided. We did not use the microwave as we enjoyed the local restaurants that are within walking distance. We took the bus that passed near the hotel to teamlabs planet. The train station is also nearby but the bus let us view more of the city. Overall, we enjoy that the hotel is budget friendly.

Overall the property is good. There is no house keeping but they provide you fresh towels and garbage bags (you change yourself) and tissues. It is nice that they provide simple breakfast, a slice of bread per day with tea & coffee but imagine if you stay there for a week and each day it s a bread. We had them because we didn’t want to waste. But we saw ppl saying they didn’t want or they left early before breakfast, quite some breads would go wasted. Please consider different breakfast options and not bread everyday.

Proprietor was very helpful. 2 of our luggage did not arrive from our Delta flight and Mr. Tanaka took over receiving the delivery the next day while we were touring Tokyo. Playsis Asakusa was a great option for our group of 6. It was a tight squeeze and in hindsight I should have just booked two rooms. But I was trying to save money and there were 5 adults and 1 child. The family room is definitely too crowded for 5 adults. There wasn’t enough space to put our luggage and one bathroom wasn’t enough! The bathroom only has a curtain for privacy. When the neighbors upstairs were jumping and running and screaming until 2am, I complained. The next day, each customer had a sign on their door with a warning about noise. I thought that was very receptive and I really appreciated it because it made all the difference in the noise. The check-in process is strange. We waited for someone to come online and that person had no information specific to the hotel because it seemed they were in a different country or somewhere far away.

Me and my family stay here for 7 days and we enjoyed our whole stay here. Free pastries and coffee for breakfast, easy checkin , has passcode to the main gate and our room. 3박4일 가족 도쿄여행에 사용한 숙소 입니다. 조식은 인원 수 만큼 빵만 나오니 참고하세요. 수건도 별도 요청하면 교환을 해줍니다. 아사쿠사 역과 약간 거리가 있지만 근처 밤12시까지 하는 마트가 있고 걸어갈수 있는 거리에 편의점도 있어서 불편하지 않았습니다. 주민들이 사는 동네에 위치하고 있어 조용하게 지내기 좋았습니다. 가성비 숙소를 찾는다면 추천합니다
