This is an apartment turned into hotel so with that overall it was fine. Positives are right across the train station, friendly staff, clean. There was a motorcycle noice early in the morning and you can hear people talking at night. I was happy to find that place.

Location is the only good thing about this hotel. It is right opposite the Toby Nikko Railway. The room size is also big compared to the other hotels in Japan. But the room is not clean. We stayed for 2 nights in a double room and we came to the room around 3 pm after sightseeing and the room was not cleaned.

Perfect for Solo Traveler not for Family.

This Hotel is very close to Tobu-Nikko Station and Tourist Bus stoppage.
Hotel is okay for solo traveler not okay for family cause all shared like (room (24 bunker on single room), bathroom, washroom).
For Couple they provide King size bed bunker only. I paid 6000 yen for single bunker on a off day seems little bit expensive. Otherwise Room , washroom and beds are clean.

A nice budget hotel in great location

A bit dated room, but the bed was very big and comfortable. A small kitchen unit might be useful if you plan to warm up some food. Bathroom was quite small and cold, as the A/C unit covered only the main room. The location is great - very close to Nikko stations and bus stops for shrines, Edo Wonderland and further (Kegon waterfall and mountain trips). Our host was very welcoming, breakfast was quite nice, but not particularly traditional Japanese.

Great location and helpful advice

Decor could use some work and the air conditioner was slightly loud, but it was clean and had all of the necessities. Owner/keeper was attentive and helpful in planning trip. Try to plan to be here for 4 days and take advantage of the Nikko Pass! Also, great location.

The room does not look like the picture. We booked a double room, but we got a different room. The bed was very uncomfortable, even has sound. The room is very old, the bedstead should be changed. Definitely no recommend to stay in this hostel, please choose the hotel around utsunomiya instead of nikko. Around 6am start to get very noise from the street, we will not able to sleep well. The hostel also was not cheap at all. We paid the cheaper price in another city, got the much better room. Consider more when you decide to stay here.

Freezing hostel very close to the station. Staff was alright but not friendly. Not Japanese so that would explain it. It was too cold to showe but they did let me check-in earlier. Alright just to stay the night for the price.

Pictures were misleading

The photo showed a double bed and a twin bed both on the ground. What I got was a steel framed bunk bed. The carpets were dirty and stained, the television was broken, and the heater made a constant noise. The bed, however, was incredibly comfortable.

Overall not worth the price at all.

Hostel with nice location. Just 1 minutes walk from Tobu-Nikko Train Station and 3 minutes walk to Hypermarket. Public transport is accessible. However, have waited long time at Reception for check in.

Choose the room with bathroom

I was stayed in their room with bathroom when I visit Nikko last time. The experience was fantastic. However, this time I was staying in the room with shared bathroom. The experience was totally difference. The air-condition doesn't able to keep the room warm. I have to stay on the bed with heating blanket to keep myself warm. You are not only sharing the bathroom with another room. You are also sharing the fridge and electronic kettle.

Room was perfectly fine; nothing fancy. Kitchenette would have been useful for a long stay. Inexpensive; basic services; decent food for breakfast for additional cost. For backpackers, an excellent place to stay, but I would also feel happy taking my family here.

Choose another hotel in Nikko

The hotel is very simple and looks dirty and disorganized. Another huge problem is that, when you go to Japan, even choosing a simple hotel, you want to have a JAPANESE experience.

The person who was at the reception of the hotel probably came from somewhere in the middle east and it was not very friendly (the oposite of Japanese people).

It is a small detail but there is a US flag on the front desk and nothing that will make you fell you are in Japan.

So, please, DONT GO to this hotel. Nikko is a very beautiful city and nobody deserves such a hotel like that!

Central location opposite tobu nikko station, where buses leave to all sightseeing spots. The rooms themselves are okayish although furniture feels outdated. The airco was rattling and the bed is best described as a hammock filled with quicksand... If your a couple you are basically crunched together in the middle. The facilities are shared with one other room which is not to bad. Hotel staff is only on site until 6pm and start late...

This is not a hotel. There are several shabby rooms available for rent. No lobby, no staff - just a young man who gave us a key and told us to put it into a mailbox when we left. It was not particularly clean - hairs on the blanket. Windows are not soundproofed. Has a \"kitchen\" area, but no utensils, dishes, etc. Not a pleasant place.

Despite being just next to the train station, we had some trouble finding this hotel because for some reason they market themselves with a picture of the train station building. It wasn't until we walked around the entire block and came face to face with the train station that we realized we were looking for the wrong type of building. The hotel sign is also a bit inconspicuous.

We stayed in a room on the fourth floor with shared bathroom. No one was in the other room, so we didn't actually share anything.

Staff was friendly, but seemed a bit stressed. Room was clean and comfortable, with a nice mountain view from the balcony. Beds had electric blankets for heat, but we never needed them.

The mattress was thin and sinking. Pillow was flat. No towel provided and we had to pay for towel hire. The other thing that surprised me was I had to share the room with another 4 people that wasn't explained when I booked. It wasn't pleasant at all. Others are noisy while we were trying to sleep.

Close to train stations and has many stores around including McD and other restaurants. I requested iron and ironing board when booking and the items were ready waiting for me in the room. Room is bigger in real life than in the pictures, I had expected a tiny room but it was a normal sized Japan hotel room (small but much bigger than I expected) with a double-bed.

Shared bathroom rooms not recommended

We had a room sharing a bathroom with one other room. The shared facilities are in between the rooms: separate toilet room and a shower room with microwave in the unlocked anteroom to the shower. While I was in the shower (female) the older man in the other room microwaved his smelly dinner and trapped me in the shower where I worried about the security of the lock. Not a good layout and a creepy experience. Also front desk struggles to be efficient -- finding our prepaid reservation on the computer and later the room key consumed nearly ten minutes for each task. On the plus side location is good, room is fine, and the breakfast you can buy is good. Choose a room with your own bathroom and you'll be OK. Nikko is fabulous!

Location of the Hotel is excellent!

We (family with two childeren) had a wonderful stay at Nikko Park Lodge Tobu Station; the room was more like an appartment which gave us plenty of space; especially great as we had one day of rainy/stormy weather and we had to stay inside that day. Staff was very helpful.
Various dining opportunities in the area and busses and trains leave right in front of the Hotel.

Les photos du logement ne correspondent pas du tout à la réalité. Nous avons tenté de joindre par mail par 3 fois l’établissement 5 jours avant notre arrivée pour des questions supplémentaires, nous n’avons jamais obtenu de réponse. La \"chambre\" était sale, pleine de poussière, cela a déclenché des allergies chez nous : éternuement, gorge irritée, asthme... La porte d’entrée ne se verrouille pas automatiquement et les clients ne le font pas : n’importe quel passant peut entrer dans le logement comme bon lui semble.
Sur les 4 nuits prévues, nous avons fait la première uniquement, et avons dû trouver un autre logement en urgence pour le reste du séjour car nous ne nous sentions pas en sécurité et en santé.

ゲストハウスには結構慣れていますが、ここはダメでした。かびっぽくて清潔感がありませんでした。お風呂が共有ですが、洗面所もお風呂なので誰かがお風呂を使っていると洗面所を使えません。お風呂場が濡れるので、洗面所を使う時に足も濡れてしまう。電子レンジはありましたが壊れていました。

駅近でそこがいい！

駅からすぐ近くてよかった。
水も置いてあってよかったし、運よく部屋が空いてたので、少し早めにインさせてくれました。
宿主さんは親切な感じでした。
残念なのは部屋の電気が暗く、ベッドにランプがなかった事。もっと明るさが欲しかったです。

・10月三連休の土日宿泊で1泊1室12000円と、周辺の宿泊施設に比べるとお手頃でした。
・東武日光駅前なので交通の便◎、徒歩5分以内にスーパーとコンビニありで利便性は最高

⚫︎おすすめできない点
・チェックイン前の時間に人はいません。荷物を預けようと指定された電話番号にかけたところ、「フロントの周りに置いていって」とのことでした。誰でも入れる飲食店の1階がフロントで、防犯上不安だったため、駅のコインロッカーを使用しました。
・共用トイレ、バスルームのダブルルームは、2Kのマンションの1部屋ずつを2組でシェアする形です。壁は薄いため、生活音はかなり聞こえます。
・冷蔵庫とレンジ、洗面台はバスルームにあるため、反対側の方がお風呂に入っている間は、これらの設備は使えません。

ビジネスホテルの項目で予約をさせていただいたが、元マンションの一部屋を二つに区分して、ベッドを入れて簡易的な宿泊施設にした感がすごく強いものであった。ドミトリーもあることから予想すべきではあったが、払い戻しもできなかったためとりあえず宿泊してみたが、案の上であった。また、ベッドマットが非常に柔らかく、寝返りが打てなかったことにより、翌日まで疲労が残ってしまった。値段相応で、ビジネスホテルとして期待して入る場所ではないが、一人旅やツーリング等の不自由を楽しむ宿泊で使用するには良いと思う。最後にスタッフの方は日本語は通じるものの海外の方であり、細かい調整では難が出ること有

ホテルというよりマンションの一室になっています。
その為、外の通路から部屋までが外なので寒いです。
不満ポイントがフロントに電話がかけられません…。
そもそも電話機もついてません。
1番嫌だったのが、浴槽に黒カビが繁殖してカビ臭かった事！！
癒されるベットの布団はクリーニングしてないからか
ダニが居て痒かった…二度と行かない。
