From a swift check-in to an efficient checkout, everything went smoothly. I was pleasantly surprised with a complimentary room upgrade. The package included both dinner and breakfast — the breakfast, in particular, was impressive with a wide variety of options.

What truly stood out was the exceptional hospitality. Every staff member was friendly, courteous, and always smiling, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Although the hotel itself shows signs of age, the quality of service more than made up for it.

Highly recommended for a comfortable and memorable stay!

Staff are very polite and breakfast spread is good. Aside some lighting features not working in the room, everything else is fine. This hotel would be suitable if you’re attending a conference here or have meetings with clients in nearby offices. But if you’re expecting major malls to be close by, you’ll have to hail a taxi or Grab (highly recommended) to get around town.

Clean room, great location very close to thamrin city shopping center. Breakfast is amazing lots of options that I Iook forward for breakfast every morning. The staff made you feel welcome they are very friendly, professional and very helpful. I also stayed at other hotels while I'm in jakarta but overall Le Meridien hotel is the one that leave me a good impression. I would definitely stay here again.

The hotel was excellent. Superb breakfast buffet and close by to amenities like shopping malls and restaurants. It's situated in central Jakarta. The only negatives were when I checked in well after 4 pm the room was not ready and had to wait for nearly an hour but was treated to a complimentary coffee. Also the night before I checked out I requested for an extended check out for 2pm and this was agreed. The following day I was harrassed by the reception at 12 pm to check out and was informed that the latest time to check out was 1 pm. This caused me unnecessary stress as I agreed a 2 pm check out. To their credit the duty manager arranged for me to have a complimentary coffee in their club bar and also offered me a room to have a shower which I declined!

Team not proactive enough.

Doorlock was spoilt and working only intermittently. The hotel team did not proactively fix the problem and the following day I was still stuck outside. It is quite frustrating after a long day. Overall service was good though.

The room and service there is meeting the standards.

Most disappointing is the food serve inside the hotel. Ordered a few ala carte for dinner and the taste really bad. Hotel management should do something about this.

For a Le Meridien, I was very surprised by the level of maintenence! In the room, most things looked really old (and not in the aesthetic sense) and badly cared for and the bathroom (esp the shower and shower head) looked like it had seen better days! The bed and pillows are still really comfy though.

Also, the service is really wonderful. Reception were lovely and Samuel from the concierge team was really attentive. I had only been there a day but he recognized me and was very helpful; cheers to the team!

Lovely hotel with good food

Very nice hotel, room had signs of ageing, mostly the wooden decor but it was very comfortable. I had a great massage, food was excellent, including room service. I found the location not great as there was nowhere to walk to around the hotel. Pool looks nice but I didn't get in.

Smooth check in, and since I am a SPG member they hooked me up with a nicer room higher up. The food was a little expensive compared to the local area but the breakfast was amazing. Had really good fresh fruit which I don't normally find in buffet breakfasts.

Great clean modern hotel in the Jakarta CBD

Great hotel and the staff is absolutely the best- great service. Pool area needs to be cleaned up a bit more, but overall this is a great hotel. Walking distance to a shopping mall with all kinds of cuisine - Citywalk.
First time we stayed at a Le Meridien property and definitely would come back!

Good Service hotel close to business district

Short stay for me as I had to have meeting at the World Trade Center just across the street. Hence super convenient if you want to beat the Jakarta traffic.

Hotel staff was efficient, yet personable. From check-in to in-room service (I called up when the thermostat did not seem to work - prompt response and solution). Concierge was helpful too - recommending a nearby mall (City Walk) within walking distance. Check-out and transfers were all professionally handled.

Room was clean but bit dated. Good enough as I'm not in the room most of the time.

I always wanted to stay at Le Meridien Jakarta. I was so glad I finally stayed at the executive floor. Everything was fine until I noticed the bedroom AC was not working as good as the entire room. I reported this issue to the hotel. Although the AC being fixed but I could not really sleep as the bedroom was warm and the hotel was fully booked due to New Year Eve. I changed room the next day but still got the same problem..The bedroom AC was not cold. Overall I was not really enjoying my stay at that executive rooms as for two nights I could not sleep well as.

Nice hotel but showing it's age

Chose this hotel because it was close to the Canadian Embassy (walking distance). Stayed there a number of years ago and found that the hotel is showing it's age. The rooms are really in need of refurbishing. The breakfast was not included in the room rate but we did have breakfast at the hotel. It is a buffet style and not near as good as it was a number of years ago. Staff were helpful and friendly.

The hotel check in was quick and we arranged for a late check out at no charge. The staff were friendly and the food was good. Awesome pool and the bathroom in the room was huge. The only thing I did not like was the traffic noise, which was apparent in the room, and kept going 24 hours a day.

I knew that this hotel was a little dated but the other positive reviews convinced me to try it. Glad I did. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. Its age shows here and there but not in a bad way. Wish the check-in staff was more friendly. The hotel has a nice café with desserts and baked goods if you choose to skip the breakfast buffet or just want a nice place to enjoy a coffee and do some work or relax. Staff at the café was especially friendly. Also has a cozy bar and a sushi restaurant. I would stay here again if I was in the area.

Nice Hotel to stay in the heart of Jakarta

Nice and classy hotel to stay at.The staff are really helpful. After we checked in and were in our room, we realised that we had misplaced one of our bags in the lobby on the way to the room. Upon notifying the staff, they promptly assisted us and located the bag for us, delivering it to our room. A major bonus of the hotel is that they provide a generous amount of water bottles; four when compared to other hotels who provide two. A major reason for why we chose this hotel is due to the prime location, being close to major malls, thereby avoiding extra travel time from the Jakarta traffic jams. A minor negative with the hotel is that the décor of the room were a bit old and this was evident in items such as the tables and chairs inside the room and hallways outside.

Hotels Com vs Le Meridien

In spite of 50% occupancy I had to change rooms twice before I got a decent quiet room. If a good value room via Hotels.com means a shoddy first room followed by a shoddy second room, I would rather not go through the aggravation.
Can you guys get your value deal straight with Starwood? If booking with you means a terrible room at the end of the corridor overlooking a noisy street, I would rather book through the hotel web site.
