We had a fantastic stay at Kaani Palm Beach. Rooms are spacious, a/c works really well, good sized bathroom and a really comfortable large bed. The infinity pool on the roof is a great bonus with fantastic views, although it can get very warm in the afternoons. The Kaani sunbeds on part of bikini beach are free, and have an umbrella.
The main attribute for the hotel however, is the staff. We met so many lovely members of staff, that I can't remember them all, but I would like to mention Azmeem, one of the managers who helped us when we had a problem with the room. In the restaurant, Anisur, Try, Farouk, MD Alom and Omelette man Rana (apologies for any spelling mistakes) were all absolute stars, I would like to mention more, but my memory lets me down.
Would definitely love to come back to this hotel 💯

No contact with the hotel, very long response to e-mails (several days) despite paying the airport transfer fee, I had to look for a connection on my own. The photos in the offer do not reflect the actual condition of the hotel. Breakfast and dinner are provided in another facility approximately 300m away. The meals are the same every day. There is no clothes dryer in the room, high humidity makes it impossible to dry wet swimsuits.

Disappointed with Reception Staff

Hotel does not serve breakfast as advertised you have to go to Kaani Palm hotel which is a short walk away but there is a lot of building work going on outside the hotel and some renovation inside. Our room was cleaned every day to a high standard. The staff in the Palm restaurant were very friendly. My big complaint was the organisation at reception for boat trips and transfers. For some of the trips the boats were overcrowded and led to long delays leaving 90mins + late. The worst was the boat transfer back to the airport. We had booked and paid for our return trip and confirmed departure time only to be told 5mins before scheduled departure that the boat would not leave for another 2 hours. What made it worse was the receptionist then said that he had not told me the departure time which was the worst thing. Soon after my request to speak to the manager about the matter another boat was found for us !!!. It was very unprofessional the way it was dealt with.

I was upgraded to Kaani Pal Beach. The hotel is good, well located and with very good client service. The positive things:
- The location
- The price-quality relationship
- The view from the pool
- The waiters' service in restaurant
- The positive attitude of cleaning people
- The very professional service for tourist packages
The negative issues:
- Just one elevator shared with service people and clients.
- Exchange rate for payments in Rufiyaas is 17 instead of bank rate of 15.4
- There are a lot of flys in the restaurant
- There is not a game room or outdoor court to play something

The staff stand out to make this hotel exceptional. We were picked up from the ferry pier and they brought our luggage to the hotel for us. Upon arrival we were greeted with cold towels and juice. We got into our room immediatly, everything was clean, the pool is nice and cool. There is a wide variety of excursions they offer, we weren't able to go due to time constraints, but the information is clearly displayed at reception. There is also a pool table! When we were leaving, staff took our luggage back to the ferry pier and waited with us until we got on the correct boat with our stuff. It is a quick walk to the hotel from the pier and close to the bikini beach. This is a great choice for your stay on Maafushu!

We (family with 2 children) spent 8 days at Kaani Village. Our staying was great thanks to wonderful and friendly staff. Compliments to staff especially to the Shauza, Shaha, Kefu, Monir, Suhey and Husein (appologies if we forgot anyone and for potentially wrong pronunciation:).

Our children loved the pool and the snooker. The hotel has a perfect location.

The rooms are what you can expect for this cheap price. A normal room.
The services given at the hotel are very poor.
Breakfast buffet is very poor. Almost no choice for breakfast.

Towels; they only give you towels once a day to use at the pool or the beach. One day we asked for towels and they did not have because the cleaning did not finish.

We requested a transfer boat and we were waiting one hour from our arranged time.

A great family experience at Kaani Village

My experience at hotel was really amazing due to the staffs and hotel itself. In fact my friend staying at other hotels commented that they really like the staffs at Kaani Village as they are friendly and provide explanation of the island and excursions. The pool is also another a plus point.

I would definitely stay here again when visiting Maafushi island.

Checked in for 5 days holiday and within hrs taken to local island doctors.
Doctor confirmed critical illness and both he and nurse arranged for fast boat to medicaly evacuate island to Male ICU ward at hospital.
Both myself and 2 friends where charged for complete Kaani Village stay ,small refund that was consumed by Medical evacuation costs.
Dollars count more than empathy or customer !!!!!!!

Kaani, being the largest accomodation company on the Maafushi, offers a one stop service for your vacation, including the accomodation, transfer, excursion tour and Luxury Island visit tour. You can apply the activities at the front desk.
The room is a bit old and the cleaniness needed improvement. May be Kaani Village is the aged one amongst the three. I believe the Kaani Grand shall be better and recommended.

Kaani Village & Spa is a great place to stay when you are visiting Maldives. Everything is located in just a few strolls away including the beautiful beach. The food in the hotel itself taste really nice. Plus the restaurant is quiet too! The staffs are very friendly, amazing and helpful especially Aswaad and the tall guy in charge of breakfast during my stay (The one I gave some pamphlets and left my contact details before i checked out). They are amazing staffs and Kaani should give them a promotion! For those who wants to visit the Maldives, I hope you will enjoy Kaani Village & Spa as much as we do! There is a mosque nearby that has a 5:00 am prayer call everyday. However, the hotel staff was very accommodating and friendly. Also, you get privileges at their sister property Kaani Beach which is a nice benefit.

Great and unassuming stay at Maafushi

Amazing local inland. Everything is easily accessible and inexperience. Hotel is great and close to all amenities and restaurants. The half day private snorkeling trip was (relatively) expensive but worth every penny - great guide knows the area well and took number of photos and videos, for free. Did think would use the hotel pool much but at the end a great way to spend the morning while waiting for transit.

Nice hotel with a pool

We had a nice experience staying Kaani Village Hotel. I found the staff to be helpful (particularly the restaurant staff) and polite. We liked having the option of being able to swim in the hotel pool. Apparently it's the only pool on the local island. I would recommend that one takes full advantage of going off the island on excursions as the island doesn't offer that much. Unfortunately it rained quite a bit when we there but I managed to do some diving which was great. My family (wife and kids) would have enjoyed their stay in Maldives more if we were able to do more excursions off the island had it not rained so much.

I reserved half board. if you also reserve half board, you can choose lunch or dinner. every food is very delicious especially bbq style beef with rice is very good.

Good hotel with some good things but with others not so good.

In the room was a noise all night due to a machine so it was not easy to sleep. During the day you don't hear it, but in the silence of the night was terrible.

The swimming pool is nice but is very near from the rooms and the people' voices while partying is sometimes uncomfortable.

Some people from the staff was not very helpful. Some of them were just hanging around but not trying to help you.

Beautiful hotel, really good value, fantastically accommodating staff. Snorkelling trips organised by hotel are particularly good value and they even give you a free copy of GoPro videos taken by the guide. I left my phone in the room and the manager called me at the airport and sent it home to me.

Nice hotel, public ferry is unreliable

We could not enjoy our stay because the public ferry was full so we had to pay $80 on a speedboat instead of $8.00 because we had to catch a flight the next day at 9:00 pm we woke up 6:00 am the next day to catch the 7:30 am ferry. We could have enjoy our stay if the ferry service is dependable. The hotel also charges $150 USD per boat transfer from the airport, whereas it's only $80 USD from Male. I'd stay on Hulhumale instead of Maafushi next time. People way friendlier at Hulhumale and accommodating (Sunny Suites is great!)

An Amazing Hotel

Kaani village is outstanding and quite comfortable. It has a huge array of excursions that you don't have to find your own and they are fun and memorable for the whole family. Spent 6 days and 5 nights here in Feb 2016. The bathroom could use a fan, as it got quite humid. And the carpet had some stains on it. No twin beds available. Otherwise, a really comfortable bed with clean sheets, modern very clean bathroom, and great view of the pool and a slight view of the beach from the shared balcony.

The stay was very good. Nice food when compared to other eateries, maybe because of our taste & choice. One thing to mention specially is the staffs are very good with very good services, they try to make you feel comfortable, they don't interfere too much but still give very good service.

The hotel ambience is superb.

Our 1st preference while choosing a hotel is its bathroom's cleanliness, they have got very neat & clean bathroom, spacious enough not to suffocate you, with very good bathroom fittings.

No bugs, no issues with respect to cleanliness.

They also have complementry breakfast with good options to eat & drink.

This is one of the best hotels at Maafushi islands.

They have got a good swimming pool.

Yes I would surely recommend this hotel for stay with family.

They have two type of accommodation in this Island. I'm staying at Kaani Village and Spa. The accommodation is very clean, conducive and peaceful with friendly, approachable staff that will always be there to assist you in meeting your needs and requirements. This accommodation is well furnished with small poll enough for you to deep and cool yourself after a long day at the beach. Food was presentable and acceptable for Asian taste.

God værdi for pengene

Fint hotel med lækker pool. Generelt højt serviceniveau og sødt personale, men desværre ikke så gode til at modtage kritikpunkter, hvilket er ærgerligt.

Vores ophold var inkl morgenmad. Her oplevede vi særlig god service fra personalet. Dog er selve morgenbuffeten tildels lokalt inspireret. Men der er ristet brød, smør, omelet på bestilling og kaffe hver morgen.

Deres WiFi-system er irriterende, hvor man skal forny sin kode hver 4-5. dag.

Værelserne er generelt fine og bliver rengjort hver dag. Dog er der hurtigt en em af fugt, hvis ikke aircon kører hele tiden. Muligvis også fordi der ligger (gamle) gulvtæpper på værelserne.

Man kan bestille gode ture gennem hotellet. Alle ture på øen koster det samme. Spa'en er lukket, men de henviser til et af Kaanis andre hoteller på øen.

Et Value-For-Money hotel.

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!!!!

On the first day we tried to pay for the room, but they told us that their macine don't work and we need to try the next day (we tried with creditcard 3 different times). The next day we noticed that there was 3 takes from the card; 400€, 950€ and 750€. The only place we had used the card was in this hotel. Last use was 1,5 months ago. My bank told me that the money had gone to some international gamblingsite.

But the true horror started when we tried to ask the hotel if they knew what happened (maybe their macine was hacked or something)! We waited for the manager for two afternoons for 3-4 hours and every 30min we were told that he is coming. He never came! What a great way to spend a holiday!!!! On the third evening he finally came and he was the rudest and most unprofessional \"manager\" we have ever met! He directly started to yell at us that they have nothing to do with the money. They have checked their bank and securityvideos and nothing is wrong. We never saw any evedence about that even we tried to ask and they promised earlier. SO, AFTER ALL IT MIGHT BE THAT THE HOTEL HAVE NOTHING TO DO WITH US LOOSING 2000€, BUT I PERSONALLY DON'T BELIEVE IN SUCH A COINCIDENCE!!! And still, the worst part of everything was the way they took care of the case!!! It was pathetic and totally unprofessional!!!!!

The hotel itself is average. Downstairs rooms are dark and smelly caves, upstairs rooms are ok (we got to change on our third day). Breakfast is sad with canned fruits!

Sju dagar utan strumpor

Vi bodde i familjerum och fick först ett tråkigt sådant på bottenplan. Med hjälp av mycket tillmötesgående personal fick vi byta till en våning upp, vilket innebar balkong. Personalen var mycket bra och trevliga oavsett om det rörde sig om bokning av utflykter eller annat. Frukosten var bra. Vi gjorde en snorklingsutflykt med Kaani och en med Salt. Båda var mycket bra, med flera snorklingsstopp och enkel lunch. Hotellet ligger 200 meter från Bikini Beach, där det är bra strand, bad och lite snorkling. Boende på Kaanihotellen har gratis solstolar. Maafushi kan rekommenderas. Många mindre restauranger med god och billig mat. Transport från och till flygplatsen fixas enkelt med hjälp av hotellen. Ta också gärna någon övernattning i Malé, inga bad men härligt folkliv.

Fint hotel til prisen

Vi boede der i 4 nætter, hotellet er rigtig fint til prisen. Vi bookede hotellet fordi der var en pool, men vandet var simpelthen så varmt (luksus problem) så vi brugte den ikke, den er dog også noget slidt. Det var et rigtig fint værelse vi havde med fin størrelse altan, dog savnede vi lidt nogle stole og et bord derude. Vi havde half board, morgenmaden var rigtig fin, men aftensmaden var ikke særlig god, og den skal man have på et andet hotel hvor man sidder ude, og der var så mørkt at det var svært at se hvad man lavede. Servicen var rigtig god, meget imødekommende og høfligt personale, der hjalp os med nogle rigtig gode ture.

Maravilhoso!

Fiquei por 6 noites, e foram perfeitas. O quarto sempre limpo e confortável, a localização ótima! Pertinho dos transfers, as pessoas sempre amáveis e muito prestativas, os tours a mesma coisa, sempre se preocupando com o bem estar dos hóspedes. Comida muito boa! E um preço justo. Todos que trabalham no hotel me fizeram me sentir em casa. Minha estadia não podia ser melhor!!!!

Die Handtücher waren schon sehr abgenutzt. Das Zimmer bot keine Möglichkeit die Badesachen aufzuhängen. Aber es war immer sauber und als die Klimaanlage anfing zu tropfen kam innerhalb von 5 Minuten ein Techniker und hat sie sofort repariert. Ein gebuchter Ausflug fand nicht statt und leider wurden wir darüber erst 10 Minuten vor Abfahrt informiert.

Een heel gezellig kleinschalig hotel,heel vriendelijk en behulpzaam!Het ontbijt was ok,uiteraard geen 5 sterren keuze,maar het was lekker! Het avondeten(diner) was vlakbij,niet in hotel,dit was ok enkel jammer dat de vis en kip wat veel graten/beentjes had maw peuzelwerk,voor de rest ok en gezellig+ je kon mits betaling bv. scampis laten barbecuen wat heel lekker was.Kaani village is zeker een aanrader qua prijs/kwaliteit! :) .

Kaani Village & Spa non è un hotel a 4 stelle!!

La mia esperienza al Kaani Village è stata pessima: non è un hotel a 4 stelle. Ci siamo lamentate delle condizioni pessime delle stanze con il personale e dopo 3 giorni ci hanno trasferito al Kaani Grand. Decisamente un'altra cosa: il Kaani Grand è un hotel a 4 stelle.

Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt, ein hübsches kleines Hotel mit Pool, alles sehr sauber und eine super leise Klimaanlage, bei der man auch gut schlafen kann.
Das einzige was etwas schade war ist, dass das Personal größtenteils sehr lustlos und wenig freundlich war. Sie haben zwar ihr nötigstes getan, aber ein Lächeln würde hin und wieder auch nicht schaden.
Für mich war das Frühstück absolut nichts (gerne etwas kontinentaler und nicht nur warm wäre schön gewesen), mein Freund fand es jedoch in Ordnung.

We happened to be \"upgraded\" to the sea view room in Kaani Beach Hotel. The hotel was apparently getting old with lots of minor repairs here and there to be done. But the staff there were incredibly helpful (e.g. they offered us a place in Male to temporarily store our luggage on our last day in Maldives when we would like to briefly visit the city, recommended us the best snorkelling tour so far named 'the real break', etc) and the daily breakfast was quite satisfying though the variety was limited. All in all, we enjoyed our stay in Kaani Beach Hotel.

A rénover . Manque d'entretien .

Hôtel à rénover en urgence ( Kaani exploite 3 hôtels + un bateau hôtel et un hôtel en construction , donc ils ont les moyens de l'entretenir )
Attention vous ressortirez de la piscine avec les pieds bleu car le carrelage intérieur à été repeint plutôt que changer + échelle menace de s'arracher.
Les flacons gel douche et shampoing recyclé, pas de savon pour les mains.
Litterie inconfortable.
Pas de réseau télévision sur plusieurs jours.
Équipements snorkeling a jeter a la poubelle s'il vous plaît. Le petit déjeuner assez bon un plat ou 2 supplémentaire serait appréciable. Le service du petit déjeuner est très bien. La plupart du personnel est très bien. Le nettoyage des chambres est très bien.
Excursions à la chaîne et plutôt expéditive manque de personnel pour accompagner j'ai connu mieux de la part de Kaani ( picnic excursion à revoir ).
Beaucoup de moustiques dans la chambre sachant que les fenêtres reste fermer.
Hôtel à taille humaine a sauvegarder . Le meilleur potentiel de Kaani, mais négliger au dépend des autres hôtels Dommage.

Overall very nice hotel! Lobby and pool was great, breakfast was pretty standart but dinner was not so great.. The protein selection was pretty poor and the chicken and fish that were served every night were basically the same. Excercutions were awesome!

Ottimo hotel a 4 passi da Bikini Beach

Ottimo hotel con piccola piscina.
Ubicato a pochi minuti da bikini Beach.
Pulizia eccellente. Unica cosa che suggerirei a questi fantastici ragazzi che la gestiscono è una migliore scelta a colazione .
Per il resto valuto il mio soggiorno a Maafushi, grazie anche Kaani Village : 10

年間ホテルステイ100日

カーニビレッシスパで予約を入れましたが、改装中のため実際に案内されたのはカーニグランドシービューでした。グランドシービューの方が格上なので不満は感じませんでしたが、当日ボートスタッフに会うまで説明はありませんでした。入国書類にも違ったホテル滞在先を書いたことになるので、何か問題が起こる可能性もあったかと思います。以下のコメントはグランドシービューに関するものになります。

スタッフはフレンドリーでしたが、必要最低限レベルでした。またボート代を回収するのを忘れていたからと寝ている時に電話を掛けて来られ、今からレセプションに払いにこいと言われた時は面食らいました。またホテルのツアーは他と比べ、高めの設定になっていますが、勧誘がわりかしありました。

最も憤慨をしたのは、ボートの予約確認がギリギリまた来なかったこと。聞いた質問に対してきちんとした返答が来ず、何度も予約確認をお願いしたのちに、やっと行きの飛行機の中でメールが来た始末。機内ワイファイが繋がらなければ連絡が行きたがっていたことが予想され、かなりのストレスでした。

ただビーチの前で清潔なホテルですし、ローカルアイランドの良さも感じられるホテルだったと思います。

I have booked Kaani Village spa but got upgraded to Kaani Grand seaview instead as the renovation was going on there, without being explained until the arrival to the boat. It could as I have given the wrong info in the entry card to the immigration. No comlain to the fact of course as it was a good change. The below comments are all regards to the Kaani Grand seaview.

Staffs were friendly but minimum. Tours from the hotel are more expensive than others yet they will invite you for few times. The staff told me to come to the reception to pay for the boat as they forgot to charge me when I was rested in my bed at 22:30.

The most irritating thing for me was that ther did not confirm my boat reservation until the very last miniutes. They did not answer my queries but instead keep on sending me this ad from the hotel. I finally got a confirmation during my flight! Big irritation with this.

Location is great, room is clean and tidy.

Aardig hotel midden op het eiland maar met zwembad

Tapijt versleten. Deur naar badkamer ontzet. Prima naar het zin gehad maar heb geen hoge verwachtingen. Wel lekker bed met airco en goede douche. Personeel doet goed zn best. De snorkeltour was heerlijk maar wel met veel mensen. We waren met een groep van bijna 30 mensen. Op een gegeven moment lag er beschimmeld brood bij ontbijtbuffet. We waren er eind april. Alle dagen bewolkt en aantal keren veel regen. Toch goed naar het zin gehad.
