The property was quite grimy and in poor repair. The bathroom sink and shower drained very slowly and at one point the sink was plugged. I had to dig out a plunger from the area beside the reception to get the water flowing out of the sink. In the drain I discovered someone had lost a lid for lotion or bottle which slowed down the flow but all the nasty stuff that had collected around the lid was what I managed to clear away.

The wifi was very slow on the first night and it stopped working on the next morning and did not work for the next two nights and days.

The shower head is not properly fixed to the hose so the water sprayed out of the side of the hose and the shower overflowed onto the floor (or leaked). We had to use a towel to keep the water from flushing into the apartment from the washroom.

My wife is covered in bites from little critters (I think she has an allergy to them and my daughter and I don’t taste as good as she does because we escaped relatively unscathed).

A very old building but at least updated to have its own bathroom instead of the WC down the hall. Location is great for visiting not so great for sleeping if you have the first floor window right on the street. The most accomodating and helpful concierge ever as he took me as a last minute reservation after missing a train and was willing to let me knock on the door very early to leave (since they still use the old locks with keys on a big keychain that has to be returned). His willingnes make up for it being a bit rough and outdated

The room was pretty small, and so was the bathroom. Room service came in every day and remade the beds and gave us new towels. Only issue was that sometimes when you showered water got all over the floor, either because of how small it was or an issue with the door or sealant, i don't know. Overall it was as advertised. Lovely neighborhood and close to public transit. Would definitely recommend the vegan bakery Land and Monkeys nearby. Lots of stores and restaurants nearby.

I like value and Sully is great value. No elevator, small rooms, but adequate. Most rooms have a nice view of Rue St Antoine You can even go old school Paris with a toilet down the hall I believe. We usually get a room with a toilet.

Reserved a two-bed room for four people. Extremely small room with two full beds but did the job. The beds were clean, however the bathroom was not the best. We had a bathroom in our room, which is better than the downstairs rooms which had a shared bathroom and shower. The bathroom was even more cramped than the room though. When using the toilet our knees would hit the wall. The shower was really bad. If you moved the shower head at all, the entire bathroom would flood. The water itself from the shower would never stay hot, going back from hot to freezing back to hot back to freezing making the showering experience suck. The bathroom was also a bit moldy and smelled like old water. The neighborhood was amazing though. Beautiful buildings all around with easy access to public transportation and many shops and restaurants around, anything you would need in a five block radius. All in all, very cramped room that did the job for a short stay. Any longer stay might’ve not been pleasant due to the showering situation, but the convenience of the neighborhood made up for it.

My very modest expectations were exceeded. This is a one star hotel and i can live with some minor issues. It was comfortable and the front desk fellow was very congenial. Perhaps afew more watts could be devoted to the lamps by the bed and a slightly later checkout would help. Tiny bathroom but a certain old charm for the unspoiled traveller.

The location is amazing. The price for this location is great. Yes, the rooms are very tiny, but I don't go to Paris to sit in my hotel room! It's very clean with everything you need. The way to windows open to the street is lovely, forming sort of a Juliet balcony. I recommended to a friend and she also thought it was great for the price and location.

Budget Option but safe convenient one

This hotel is in a great neighborhood and you are walking distance to many things. It is a rather posh neighborhood. There are small grocery stores, restaurants, take aways and bakeries very close. Obviously this is a budget hotel. The rooms are a bit dated and there is no elevator. This was fine with us as we were looking for a cheap convenient stay for a couple of nights and are not too fussy. If you can't walk stairs, need AC, have a ton of stuff, or take up a lot of room (small shower) this is probably not for you. The front desk is manned 24/7 and the men at the desk were very friendly, helpful and spoke English. Although it is a budget hotel it was not sketchy. Clientele seemed to be tourists just looking not to pay too much like us. The wifi worked well, and we had a TV. The bathroom we had an ensuite had been redone and was modern and clean we had a view of the street from a higher floor which was nice .The carpet could have used a better vacuuming, the furnishings are older but we are fine with that. There was housekeeping and we had beds made and fresh towels daily. You are a short walk from two different metro lines including one that will take you one stop to the RER train to the airport. Overall we were pleased with the price/value ration and will stay again in similar circumstances.

A PRIZE hotel in Paris for a BUDGET traveller!

This is a small hotel located in the 4th Arr. It’s a great location and close to CENTRAL Paris! The hotel is very BASIC but comfortable enough for a relaxing budget stay. I was here for 5 days...on the top floor in a double standard room. Yes, there is NO elevator, the walls are thin and the Front Desk guys are not always chipper and nice but it’s still a great value and something I would do again...though I don’t know if I’d recommend this pace to non-budget travellers.

Little room as expected in Paris, great location very close to metro station and surrounded by shops and cafes. Not the cleanest feel about it, the covers were stained and the pillows extremely tired, bathroom was modestly clean but nothing too thorough. Being on a busy main road it has all the traffic noise coming through so if you are a light sleeper I would avoid.

Just what we needed

Sully Hotel is a tiny spot of unsuspecting quality. For the price you pay, you're getting all you need: clean bed, private bathroom, desk and armoire, excellent view, and free wifi. The location was far better than I expected. A block away from Place des Vosges, walking distance to Louvre, Picasso museum, Centre Pompidou, and scores of wonderful restaurants and shops. This all made walking up four flights of stairs everyday worth it!

Old and dirty looking but good location

The hostel looks and is really old with probably 20+ year old carpets and walls. Crooked rooms and walls with little lighting. The bathrooms are tiny but okay. We got the private room for 4 people and it was in the 2nd floor facing the balcony (not the street) so it was silent, comfortable with no long stairway to climb.
The staff didn't speak English too much. The sink got clogged and it was a pain trying to explain it to them to go fix it but they did after I over explained with signs my issue.

Paris is usually really expensive but if you get the room we got for that cheap price and that good of a location you got yourself a pretty nice deal. But if you want more luxury and better overall comfort good luck finding a place under that price and that location.

It's not the best hostel I've been but it's not too bad under the right conditions. I give it a 6/10

If you're on a budget, you'll like it.

If you're looking for a top of the line hotel, this is not the place. But if you travel on a budget like I do, I think you will find this a fine place to stay. The staff were very friendly and it's conveniently located to bus/train stops, food, and sites to visit. There's a beautiful park on the block behind it as well.

Hotel muito antigo sem elevador( mas os funcionários ajudam a levar as malas para o quarto). Quarto e banheiro pequeno, porém atendeu nossa necessidade; limpeza boa com trocas de toalhas diária ,serviço e equipe de funcionários muito atenciosos. Não tem café da manha,mas tem vários locais perto bons e baratos para o café .Localizacao muito boa , próximo a linha1 do metro q leva a maioria dos lugares inclusive Disneyland. Bairro tranquilo e seguro com vários restaurantes. Bom custo benefício

Bien en general. Es un hotel simple pero correcto, con un tamaño adecuado para pasar un fin de semana.
Ojo porque no hay ascensor hay hasta 5 pisos.
Decir también que la calefacción es algo mejorable, hacía algo de frío.
El personal muy agradable y servicial. Llegué por la mañana pero me dejaron entrar a la habitación, lo que estuvo muy bien porque tenía que trabajar.

La valutazione dipende come sempre da come sei abituato. La mia valutazione è negativa perche a questo prezzo normalmente trovo più pulizia. Non c’erano gli asciugamani e ne abbiamo trovato uno già per terra davanti alla doccia, la moquette sinceramente no, la cartigenica non cambiata e del precedente inquilino senza il risvolto da camera privata. Posizione ottima, va bene per una notte di passaggio.

Dentro de lo normal, un sitio para dormir y listo. Nos tocó un 5 sin ascensor, y con maletas y demás fue un poco duro, al igual que cuando llegabas de todo el día ya cansado. Por lo demás bien, te dejan dejar las maletas lo que necesites sin tener aún la habitación o habiéndola dejado ya. Esta súper bien ubicado y te dejan subir cualquier alimento.

Hotel in posizione eccellente,nel cuore del marais,con negozi ristoranti boulangerie a portata di mano,a 2 passi da rue de rivoli,hotel è un po datato,polveroso,la nostra camera era al 4 piano senza scale,un po dura anche per noi che siamo allenati,bagno minuscolissimo con un piccolissimo lavandino,in bagno non ci sono prese,e quella affianco al mio lato del letto non teneva la spina,abbastanza sporchino,solo 2 asciugamani e cambiati l ultima notte,camera molto piccola non si riusciva ad aprire le valigie dalla mia parte,ma a questo prezzo non si trovava niente in centro,quindi se non avete tante pretese è il massimo per posizione e comodita tra metro e tutto

Lo único bueno es el lugar a 5 minutod de la Bastilla y a 10 del ayuntamiento norte dame. Personal poco educado. Limpieza lamentable había botellas bajo la cama, moqueta sucia y toallas con pelos. La calefacción no funcionaba y nos dieron un radiador q tuve que subir al 5 piso sin ascensor. Nos quiso cobrar tasa municipal a los niños

Service 24h sur 24h. Propreté et accueil. Obtenir la chambre à 12h45 car j'avais un rendez-vous. Pas d'ascenseur et j'ai du mal à monter les escaliers. J'ai eu une chambre au 3ème étage. Lors de l'inscription, on m'avait accordé une chambre au 1er étage. MaIs, du fait que j'en avais besoin à 12h45, cela a été modifié. Pour moi, il était plus important de pouvoir en prendre possession à cet heure-là.

La ubicación es lo mejor que tiene. El hotel se ve que ya tiene sus años, los cuartos son muy pequeños pero están limpios. El baño, a pesar de que estaba limpio, tenía un horrible olor a humedad.
NO TIENE ELEVADOR por lo que tuvimos que subir 4 pisos con maletas.

Emplacement idéal dans un quartier aussi vivant qu’agréable, à proximité de tous les transports.
Chambre triple sur cour au calme, qui n’a rien de superflu mais qui fait le job : un lit double avec un chevet + un lit simple avec une tablette, une salle d’eau récente, un petit bureau avec une chaise, une armoire, une télé.
Personnel présent sur de très grandes amplitudes horaires et à l’écoute.
Seul bémol : un meilleur entretien global serait souhaitable notamment pour résoudre un problème d’odeur d’égouts dans la salle d’eau (non perceptible de la chambre quand la porte de la salle d’eau est fermée).

Personnel très agréable et arrangeant. J'y séjournais pour être à côté du départ du semi marathon de Paris. J'ai même pu y prendre une douche au retour (passé 12h heure à laquelle je devais rendre la chambre).

Excelente localização e conforto!

Nossa estadia foi excelente! Ficamos muito bem localizados em um quarto com vista, muito espaçoso e confortável! A temperatura do quarto estava ideal durante todos os dias que ficamos! Muitos comércios na rua da hospedagem que conta também com estação de metrô e muitas linhas de ônibus.
Com certeza ao voltarmos em Paris ficaremos no mesmo lugar!

Ottimo soggiorno

La struttura è un po' datata, ma la posizione è ottima. Siamo stati benissimo, lo staff è gentilissimo e disponibile. L'unica nota stonata è la mancanza dell'ascensore, che però a Parigi è quasi la norma, e poi solo perché avendo un bimbo di 2 anni (la stanza era al terzo piano) aveva difficoltà a fare le scale. Nonostante questa piccola pecca hotel consigliatissimo
