Truly awesome place! Great location, super super close to the metro but also in a very walkable part of the city. Very kind and attentive staff. I didn’t do the breakfast, but only because there was so much awesome dining nearby. Would certainly stay here again.

Only thing is the bedding itself was not super comfortable. Mattress was nice but the sheets weren’t amazing.

The location was excellent - only a block away from the metro stop Bastille and 2 blocks from the monument and plaza of the same name. The front desk was very helpful in finding a local laundry service that could turnaround our clothes within 48 hours - something not that common we learned.

Property is in a great location just a couple minutes walk to the station and there’s lots on your doorstep to explore.

However, the room door did not lock! We realised on our last night that when we would leave our room, we would slam and pull the door but if you look properly it wasn’t fully closed and if you pushed with slight force it would open.

Add to that, there were notices about thefts in the area and in hotels so we felt nervous and unsafe on our last night.

We were told nothing about this at any point but when we alerted staff at check out they did not seem surprised and advised that sometimes the doors need a strong pull/jiggle (but this does not resolve it as the door and lock mechanism is fundamentally broken) which is below minimum expectation of what a hotel should provide.

It’s a shame because the location really is very convenient and the room was clean so it would have been a good choice for a quick trip but the lack of safety is a key issue and troubling. I hope they fix it soon.

The hotel is ideally located. Across from Opera Bastille, there are excellent bus and metro services nearby. Bus 91 goes to Gare du Nord for RER B connection to CDG Airport. Bus 29 takes you to Auber for Roissybus connection (except Sun).
Hotel is small, clean and comfortable and staff excellent. I have stayed twice and have 2 more stays booked

Good staff and nice looking room. However, when we returned to the room at night on the day of check-in, there was a bad body odor in our room, as if one of the staff members had entered our room and left a body odor (or it came from the heating/AC system that was pumping air). We informed the staff on our 2nd day, she apologized and said she'll take care of that, but that odor did not leave our room for the entirety of our stay (3 days).

The room was nice enough. The bed was comfy. But thin walls! I heard everything, the outdoor sounds, my next door neighbors' detailed honeymoon, and water rushing through everyone's pipes. Also I partially booked this place because it offered a shuttle to the airport on the website. This is not true. I was told they don't work with them anymore so I had to pay twice as much to call a taxi. It was nice, but not nice enough to recommend to others.

Very nice hotel, close to Bastille metro stop. It was quiet at night also. The reception people were very good. Especially the girl Mathilda who helped us when my husband got an eye infection and needed to see a doctor. She directed us to a Paris eye hospital close to where the hotel was. I recommend this hotel!

We stayed at Hotel Pavillon Bastille on two separate occasions during our week-long visit to France - three nights at the beginning and two nights at the end. Staff was extremely courteous and helpful and spoke English (good for my husband who does not speak French). The room was tiny, but comfortable, and the air conditioning was a huge plus since we were there during the heat wave. The only thing we didn’t like was the sliding door to the bathroom and the tub/shower that needed a high step to get into. Breakfast was a full continental that included yogurt, cheeses and meats, along with pastries, juices, teas and coffees. Free WiFi was available although sometimes the connection would cut out, but this wasn’t a huge problem.

They cancelled my reservation with an e mail at 6pm which was buried in 100 e mails of the day while I went from a meeting that finished at 8 that went straight to dinner. So got to the hotel at 11.30 to be told - sleep in the street, not my problem. No call, nothing. A manager playing with peoples lives. I’m in an Uber for the next 25 mins to get to the only hotel available.

Great location, Very secure. Good value for money. Reception staff were excellent and couldn't be faulted. The Cleaner could do with a week at finishing school as she was quite rude when asked for some milk for the tea and coffee. We didn't have breakfast as there was a lovely Bakery (Boulangerie) down the road, which was cheap and amazing. Rooms were a bit small and the shower was not the best, but it was adequate.

The shower (average) was over the bath. There were no drawers in the room and a general lack of storage space - especially if there are 2 of you in the same room.

Great hotel, good room size and a great location. Breakfast was just what you need and the staff really helpful and friendly. The hotel has a safety gate that is manned 24hours. You can control the temperature in your room so after long snow days in January you can turn the heating right up, also offers air con for summer. The metro stop is not even a 2 minute walk and there are plenty bars and restaurants within 5 minutes. I would recommend this place and would stay again. Thank you for a lovely stay :)

The staff were excellent and very helpful. I arrived ridiculously early for check in after a couple of long flights, and they were able to organise for me to be in my room by 10:30 am. The room was not huge, but seemed larger than other rooms I have stayed in when in Paris, and was good for the price. The location, near Bastille, was excellent with a metro station and many cafes within easy walking distance. It was a bit annoying having to hand your key in every time you left the hotel, and then collect it again on your return. The staff all spoke excellent English, which was very helpful.
I plan to stay here next time I’m in Paris.

We stayed at Hotel Pavillon Bastille for 3 nights. The location is close to the train station and about a 15-20 minute walk to the 3rd/4th arrondissements. The facility is secure with a gate to enter. The staff was very helpful during our stay, however some spoke limited English. The bed was by far the most comfortable bed we had during our stay in France which made for a few well rested nights. They did require that we leave our key at the front desk when we left - they said to make sure it wasn't lost and also so they could track who all was/was not in the building in case of an emergency. The street outside is noisy however the windows are sound proof. Only complaint- the Wifi is not secure. Overall we were very pleased with are stay!

We checked into this hotel after having a horrible experience with an Airbnb. It was such a relief to find a nice clean room that was quiet and safe. This hotel is in walking distance to everything you want to see in the heart of Paris.
The rooms are small but clean.

Easiest to catch the Metro

Great convenience to the metro and the trains. Across the street from the Bastille Opera House and the Bastille (but its under renovation so not much to look at). Nice walk to Notre Dame and convenient for exploring Le Marais. Of all the places we have stayed in Paris, this was the most convenient for the Metro.

This hotel met all of my requirements. It was within walking distance of the Gare de Lyon, where I arrived. The staff was very helpful. The room was well lit and comfortable. The location was a good base for exploring the city. My only wish was that their food service started earlier because I had to leave at 7 a.m. when breakfast service started.

I was coming late (1030pm) from gare de lyon, gps showed me another hostel the same name, door number didnt checked i walked and found the hotel rang the bell and waited a lot of time for the door to be open. Terrible room with a lot of noise and mousquitos!! I coudn't sleep at all. The morning I took a shower and the sink wasnt sucking.. another annoyance.. I didn't bother the breakfast which wasn't included at the price anyway.. I don't recommend this hotel its heavily over priced for this quality.

Nice boutique hotel with helpful front desk staff

We greatly appreciated the kind service rendered by the lady at the front desk to make our stay comfortable as we were travelling with an infant.

We were given a more spacious room at the ground floor with a baby cot. Initially we were worried about the noises on the ground floor and she did not hesitate about showing us another room on a higher floor. We stick with the original room in the end as the sound insulation is good. Also, being a boutique hotel, there aren't a bus load of tourists and we get to enjoy the peace and quiet of an accessible yet peaceful neighbourhood.

We picked this hotel for the convenient location, and decent value. There were a few quirks. They had a 6.60 euro tax that we had to pay for the room when we got there, and they also insisted that we keep the key to our room at the front desk. It just seemed a little odd, but overall a decent hotel.

Good value and comfort for a Paris hotel

Most people who have travelled to Paris often will know that small rooms are common in the city so we were not surprised when we arrived to see ours was too. That said, everything you want out of a hotel room is there. Hot, strong shower, comfortable bed, good air-conditioning and excellent sound-proofed windows and black-out blinds. Breakfast didn't look like much but it was actually really enjoyable. The staff were friendly and helpful and it was all round a good experience. Only a short few minute walk to Bastille Metro or a 10 to 15 minute walk to Gare Du Lyon. We'll be back.

Very Clean and friendly Hotel. The best service out of the three places we stayed while in Paris. Very clean rooms and close to the railway station, (not an advantage when there is a train strike). Would not recommend the room in foyer next to reception desk if you are a light sleeper as the foyer can be understandably noise. Would stay there again.

The rooms were smaller than appeared on the site. The furniture is modern, but cheap stuff. They use mirrors to make the room and the hotel look bigger than what it is, I think. The carpet is old. Location is excellent, but hotel itself is not bad and not good, either for the price. The staff were friendly.

The hotel is located just a short stroll from Gare du Nord railway which is very handy for travel and transfers. It is also close to Rue de Tivoli which has a great strip of restaurants, cafes and bars. It is a fair walk to all the big attractions in Paris but being so close to the Metro (line 1) that's not a problem. Good value hotel, clean, modern and friendly which an amazing French breakfast buffet.

Hotel staff were very helpful, including sharing information about an upcoming Metro outage and alternative transport. Location is very convenient to the Bastille stop. Breakfast is a fairly typical Continental spread. Room was comfortable and adequately sized, if only slightly out of date.

We arrived at the hotel which was about a 10 min walk from the train station. We had a friendly helpful front desk staff, who were quick to provide helpful information about the area. The room was average size, and comfortable. We were 2 min walk to the subway and some very neat shopping areas. Overall it was a pleasant experience.

Clean, convenient and value for money

Usually stay in the Marrais, but this hotel is but a stones throw so very conveniently located to all my favourite haunts. There's also the added bonus of it being rather modern, therefore having more comfortable amenities than many of the other moderately priced hotels in the area. Staff were also very pleasant and helpful. Definitely recommended.
