With three stars and entirely renovated in 2012, the Elysee Gare de Lyon Hotel, has 37 non-smoking rooms conveniently located near the Gare de Lyon. Graphic designer Cédric Benslous created a visual identity for the hotel branding it as the « Parisian ».

Our rooms, singles, doubles, triple and for four, typically Parisian, are cleverly designed to make most of the space. The red carpeting, beds, and curtains blend with the glass and brushed aluminium bedside table, matching desks and flat screen televisions.

Everything has been designed with your comfort in mind: comfortable mattresses, quiet, soundproof rooms and many free services. To guarantee a pleasant stay and impeccable cleanliness, the housekeeper sees to every detail.

Rooms accessible to people with disabilities. For our business clientele, we have a conference room and offer a « Privileged Partner » contract that guarantees a yearlong fixed price, preferred availability and a simplified reservation service.

Nice little hotel close to the metro and trains. Really nice staff. It’s an older building but very clean. Walls are a bit thin though… I’d stay here again. It’s a bit far from the centre but if you like walking it’s only about 30 - 45 mins to most attractions.

We had a great stay at sleeping belle- very comfortable rooms with air conditioning! The staff while friendly wasn’t overly helpful- you have to refill your own waters and no concierge help- but maybe we just are used to it in the us! The kids enjoyed their twin beds and the air conditioning was perfect for the hot weather. The breakfast is very convenient and tasty! Location is perfect too very close to large metro stop!

Great staff and good location near Gare de Lyon

The front desk staff and all staff are professional and friendly. The water was not on when we first checked in but it was back on after a few hours. The breakfast room is very elegant and stylish -- the breakfast itself is delicious too.

Very nice hotel. The room was small but very comfortable. The breakfast is fantastic. And it is a few minute walk to the Gare de Lyon and metro. And it is a ten minute walk to some trendy little restaurants, geared to the younger , hipper set.

Would highly recommend this hotel. Spotlessly clean.
Ideal location - close to metro, RER, Gare de Lyon. Less than 30 min walk to Notre Dame.

Our room was very warm making it uncomfortable for our infant to sleep. Facilities and amenities were below average. Not sure how this hotel got its 4 stars, i would say it is no more than 2 stars. I do not recommend this area either - noisy and industrial.

This hotel is Wonderful! I have stayed in Paris many times and always hope to get a room where the staff is friendly and the room not cramped for space. The Sleeping Belle is both! I stayed for 3 nights, the area is very convenient, very near Gare de Lyon, the RER and the metro.
I will definitely return.

The hotel is lovely- has all conveniences, incredibly comfortable and clean, and the staff is excellent- I don't speak French and they were so accommodating. Every museum I visited was within a 2.5 miles radius, and the Bastille Opera is less than a 10-minute walk. Highly recommend!

When we checked into the hotel we realised that the hotel was next to construction, it was very loud, also realised the area was extremely busy when the reviews advised it was quiet, it’s definitely not a quiet area of Paris, it’s constantly busy people making lots of noise outside the hotel, once we got to our room we realised our room was attached to another room, we told reception they said it’s sound proof I advised it’s not at all, I want a room that’s not attached to another room. They gave us another room which was at the front of the hotel we could hear all the construction, guests next door shouting and banging the doors at all times of the day and night , the bathroom was not clean at all dust on the shelves , we also got asked 3 times by reception when are we leaving, this was so rude ! It was said in such a rude way, when they knew full well when we was leaving. It was just there way of saying we can’t wait for you to leave. I’m sorry but I’ve paid for a quiet room I don’t want to have a joined room listening to other people banging around and making lots of noise ! You can hear everything in the hotel I didn’t get any sleep , it wasn’t relaxing the reception kept talking in French when they knew we was English we tried our best to speak French but they was being arrogant on purpose to make it harder for us, the hotel is not a 4 star more like a 2 star no fridge in the room , room is extremely tiny even for 2 people , didn’t feel welcome wish I never went here.

Cute, clean and comfortable hotel with convenient access to multiple Metro & RER lines. We didn’t go to Disney, but for those interested, a direct train (RER A) runs from le Gare de Lyon, a 5 minute walk away. The hotel staff were all very friendly and helpful and the immediate area has several wonderful bakeries and restaurants. My husband and I, along with our two teenagers were very happy with our one week stay.

Hotel Sleeping Belle is a hidden gem. The rooms are spotlessly clean and beautifully decorated. The staff is warm, friendly, and helpful with anything you need. The breakfast room decor is just perfect, and the food is for every taste and desire. It seems as if hours of planning down to slippers in the closet, went into creating a perfect place to spend a few nights in Paris!

The beds are the most uncomfortable things EVER! The staff were helpful until we were checking out where they informed me of the “extra” charges and I had to tell 2 different employees to charge the card on file. The “extra” charges were for things that they offered me and said they were free. They need to invest in soundproofing because we were up ALL night hearing the sirens all around Paris. Then on the last day the entire hotel was punished at 6:45 in the morning because someone was smoking in their room and it set off the fire alarm throughout the ENTIRE hotel!

We liked that the hotel was on a quiet street but yet a short walk to the Seine and the Bastille area. Close to metro station however we preferred taxis and Uber for transportation. Staff was very friendly and accommodating and our rooms were serviced and cleaned every day. We would definitely recommend and stay again!

Location near Gare de Lyon enables good travel connections. Good restaurants and bistros nearby. Hotel converted approx 2010 from old and narrow apartment and shows it. About 37 VERY small rooms. (Leave the room to change your mind.) Separated bath and toilet are modern and bright. Excellent room lighting. Nespresso coffee machine much appreciated. The low rating is given because management failed to include any English language tv stations on cable service. In view of clientele this is inexplicable. Also, the bed in #403, if not in the entire hotel, actually squeaks in discomfort and slopes down at the edge. Unacceptable. The front desk staff, especially Xavier, are very friendly and informative.

We stayed at the Sleeping Belle and the welcome we first received was fantastic and throughout nothing was too much trouble. Xavier was so helpful. Pointing us in the right direction. Spoke good English which assisted us. Metro nearby to get to the central parts of Paris and lovely little bars, cafes and restaurants. Room was perfectly formed we had no issues with size as per previous comments. En suite was a tad on the smaller size. If I had to say anything I would prefer a bigger shower head and it drifted to very hot at times but I’m really clutching at straws and would hesitate in booking this hotel again

But it has too many issues; when we came, the elevator was not working.
The day before departure one newly replaced water balloon broke, the wifi went down. We had no more water for a while and no warm water just before departure back to the US.
I think that the cost of this hotel due to all the maintenance issues should be much more reasonable.

Avoid this \"hotel at all costs\". Broken elevator. Non-working shower. Very small and considerably more costly than nicer alternatives in the area as well as in nicer areas.

Apparently it's intentionally listed higher so that tour hotel packages can say it costs X amount when in reality it's the cheapest, lowest quality hotel in the area with service to match. Also don't bother paying for a nicer room as they'll put you wherever they feel like regardless.

For most travellers this will be the main thing they want. But for food and culture, you’ll need to walk into Bastille nearby, which is very nice.
