The Hotel is in a good location, surrounded by shops, it is local, the metro is fairly close by, walking distance. Our room was exactly how the picture depicted, with a wonderful view from the 11th floor and 6th as we had family staying also. Very roomy and comfortable. The gym is well equipped. We drove a van and needed parking and was recommended to a carpark called Indigo which caters for high vehicles for 24 hours. It was about £87 for 2 days, walking it was around the corner to the hotel.

It's very convenient for gare de lyon. I was there one night. Lovely large room. But had a couple of niggles. The lights didn't work. Thankfully it was still daylight. Was sorted when i brought it to the hotel's attention. Then the batteries in the tv remote control needed replacing. I mentioned to reception when i was leaving. Also, i found it a bit disconcerting that i had to deposit euro 50. I had prepaid my stay. It is credited back. But it doesn't make for a pleasant stay when there is a lack of trust.

The staff at this hotel was excellent! Super friendly and attentive . The room was spotless and the view was great despite the rain and being cloudy.
Location was excellent and very convenient for us since we had to catch a train to Lyon the following day!
Would very much reccommend this hotel!!!

The location is fantastic, very convenient to go anywhere, metro or RER. The staff are very friendly, room clean and big enough for family. The most impressive part is that each floor has a water filtering mechanism so we can get water to drink. The restaurant downstairs is very good too. I will definitely stay here again next time in Paris.

Courtyard by Marriott Paris – A Short and Unfortunate Stay
I had booked and paid in advance through Expedia, looking forward to spending a few wonderful days at this hotel. Unfortunately, due to unforeseen circumstances and the loss of my luggage, I was unable to complete my full stay and only managed to spend one night there.
I tried to adjust my booking and request a partial refund, but sadly it was not possible.
The room, however, was exactly as described—spacious, comfortable, and offering a beautiful view of the Eiffel Tower. The location is also quite convenient, with a metro station nearby making it easy to get around Paris.

The staff at check in and check out were great in assisting with dining tips and transportation. The room was great. The best thing was that it had gigantic windows that looked out on Paris rooftops and cafes. The room was conveniently arranged and tastefully decorated in modern style. This is a great option if you are taking a train out of Gare de Lyon. It is right next to the station and easily walkable.

The room was small but clean, we had a blockage in the sink which over flowed and wet the bathroom towels under the sinks and also the hairdryer in a bag under the sink. There were wires open under the sink because of the mirror bulbs which worried us. We called for reception to have it unblocked a number of times before someone came up to unblock it. This delayed our start of the day as no one could use the bathroom. The next day the same wet towels were under the sink not changed for us to use. Staff were friendly but prioritized cabin crew guests over us, if we were being served and a cabin crew member came to reception they would stop our service and see to them, this happened three times. Other than that the hotel was clean.

The hotel was in a beautiful location but I did have an awful experience. A large brown man, who obviously wanted to harass a Black woman, was wearing an orange arm band that said SECURITY. He literally tried to push me out of the building while I was waiting for an Uber. I had to finally go to the front desk staff who told me of course I could wait in the lobby. Psychopath.

We didn’t really get to enjoy as it was our last night in Paris and stayed here for one night after coming back from Nice. Gare de Lyon is right around the corner so convenience was key. Hotel was clean. Staff was great. Breakfast was good. It is far from everything so we literally dropped off our bags once we arrived and took an uber to Eiffel Tower area to enjoy our last night before heading to airport the next morning.

The room wasn’t as maintained as it should be for the price. Stained and ripped carpet and the staff didn’t refill the body wash. Staff didn’t inform us that we could have free tea/coffee each day, we didn’t find out until our last day. It’s very accessible to public transit (bus, train, metro, taxi), and in turn, there’s a noticeable amount of homelessness and beggars going up to the street side restaurants to beg for money. Front desk staff was very courteous and multilingual (English, Spanish, French).

summer in Paris

I booked this hotel for me my son and my parents for a summer holiday in Paris. Location was perfect as it is located in Gare de Lyon. Staffs were nice and helpful. Food was okay from the breakfast buffet. First 2 nights we had a family room and all was ok. Then the last night I booked 2 separate room where i stayed alone with my son. Room was good and size was perfect as we have a stroller with us. Bed was comfortable. Bathroom was big but i wasnt satisfied how they cleaned the toilet bowl and one of the towel hanging had a hair (not mine) on it. The glasses where to put toothbrush and paste wasn’t cleaned properly. Even i just checked in that time. I told the reception about it, and they just cleaned the bowl and didnt change the towel with hair and the glasses. So i just used one of the towel without hair. Afterall, we had a lovely stay 😊

BED BUGS!!! Both of my kids were bitten and developed a rash that is clearly bed bug bites and not mosquitoes. The hotel management gaslighted us although we provided the photos of the rash. Do nit stay at this expensive hotel and expect Marriot quality. Most expensive hotel of our trip to Europe ruined because of this. My daughter got very upset and has anxiety at this point.

We enjoyed our stay at the Courtyard by Marriott Paris Gare de Lyon.
The hotel’s location next to Gare de Lyon is a definite plus. The area offers several good restaurants, including the one at the hotel, and it’s conveniently close to Île de la Cité.
We would definitely choose this hotel again for a future stay.

We were stuck in Paris due to the fires in Marseille and had to get to Cannes. Anna, one of the front desk greeters, helped us get a flight that would get us to Cannes the next day. If it hadn’t been for her and her assistance, we would not have made it to enjoy the south of France. Merci beaucoup, Anna!!

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel during my time in Paris! The room was exceptionally clean and had a modern, stylish feel that made it really comfortable to settle into. The bed was very comfortable — exactly what I needed after long days of exploring the city. What stood out most was the staff — warm, welcoming, and always ready to help with a smile. Their friendliness truly made a difference in my experience.

My only critique is the 3:00 PM check-in policy. For travelers arriving from the West, especially after a long overnight flight, it would be great if early check-in options were more readily available. That said, once I got settled, everything about my stay exceeded expectations. I’d absolutely stay here again!

We requested a room \"with a view\" and our window was cracked all the way from the left to the right so our view was thru cracked glass and were placed on the 1st floor, right above where the next door s Gare de Lyon Subway train was. It was hard to sleep each night cause our room vibrated and you could here the \"click click click\" every few minutes, rendering a solid night's sleep impossible. the manager did. Also our refrigerator was broken and warm for the first two nights out of seven nights. on the 2nd night, they brought up a working fridge and discounted our room a tiny bit for the first two nights. but the noise from the subway was unbearable, never mind the crack in the window facing the train station the entire week. They gave us 3 complimentary drinks and some nice chocolate but we will never stay there again and we travel to paris annually for years now and we're members of the Marriot hotel chain too......don't ever stay below at least the sixth or seventh floor or above at this place cause you won't be able to sleep. Also, the fruit at the breakfast buffet was obviously out of a can cause it was never fresh and the breakfast sausages and bacon were horrible. stick with the croissants and coffee if you can, but it was 30 euros each (around 35 USD) so overpriced for not fresh fruit and horrible breakfast meats..

We stayed at Courtyard by Marriott Paris and had a disappointing experience. We arrived early and waited until the 3 PM check-in, but didn’t get a room until 4:30 PM — with no apology or explanation. We booked and paid for a “Tower View” room through Expedia (at a higher rate), but were given a standard “View” room with no Eiffel Tower in sight. When I asked the staff, they confirmed the tower isn’t even visible from the hotel, which makes the upgrade misleading. We also booked for 3 people but got a small room clearly meant for 2, with only 2 towels and glasses. On our last night, I used a washcloth provided by the hotel and ended up with painful cuts on my back. I had to see a doctor after returning home. While staff were pleasant, no one addressed or acknowledged any of the issues. Paris was wonderful, but this hotel stay took away from the experience. I wouldn’t recommend staying here, and I won’t be booking this hotel again.

Easy access to public transportation, it's a great location for easy access to the trains and buses to all the various landmarks and sights around the city. A short walk to the waterfront. My family and I took the Eurostar into Gare du Nord and Uber to the hotel, had we known we would have taken the metro system that. It was only a few stops away and we took it when getting back to the Eurostar leaving the city after. The staff is pleasant there and going in and out there was always security in the lobby.

Staff were extremely lovely - location and walkability are definitely the reason for the expensive price. Worth it for ease of travel around the city and to the airports.

The hotel is very busy, and their staff do an excellent job of keeping everyone happy.

We did have two outlets that didn't work in our room, and the water dispenser on our floor was broken, and the TV cut out every time we tried to connect one of our devices through the 'smart tv' applications. We attempted to call the front desk a few times but we are sure they were busy. It was late enough so we just went to sleep.

Again, staff lovely, location fabulous, just some small things that would have made it a perfect stay.

Broadly good - increasingly these days if you booked through a third party like Expedia you are treated not quite so well. No one asked for my Silver Marriott Convoy card but I got it added later. Room was fine. Service in bar later and at breakfast just about OK. Slow egg service at breakfast compensated by delivery to table although I had finished everything else by then. Restaurant furniture has had its day with ripped coverings.

Pro: Very close to train station and restaurants.

Cons: Rooms were not available at check-in time of 3pm. We waited a little more than an hour to get the keys. Our floor was not very clean (there were a pair of false lashes on the floor right outside of our door) and there was mold in the toilet and shower.
