The hotel is very convenient to Gare de Lyon, clean, and comfortable! The room was small - as advertised - but nicely furnished with a good-sized bathroom. I would definitely stay here again for a quick business trip on a budget.

Great hotel for proximity to Gare de Lyon; it's about a 3 minute walk. Also, there's a pharmacy a couple doors down and an ATM is about a city block away. Note that there's an excellent boulangerie at the end of the block from the hotel; lots of great-looking pastries and other goodies. The breakfast is decent. Be aware the rooms are small but adequate; pretty typical for hotels at this price point but it certainly met my needs. The bed is comfortable The staff are friendly.

The location of this property is truly fantastic, making it a very convenient choice. However, we did find the room size to be quite small given the price we paid for a double room. Despite this, the service, cleanliness, and staff were all very positive and welcoming. If you don't mind a smaller room and are looking for a conveniently located place with all the necessary amenities, this could still be a good option for your stay.

We had a very enjoyable 2-night stay at the Prince Albert Gare de Lyon. Its location is convenient for the Metro and rail and was a good base for exploring Paris. Staff were friendly, and the room, though compact, was recently refurbished and clean with a very comfortable bed. There are excellent and good value restaurants within a few minutes’ walk. We’d definitely use the hotel again when visiting Paris.

Someone tried to break into my window the first night I stayed. The windows were super secure and new. The security was really great and I felt safe despite the attempt. They do only have laundry services and not coin laundry facilities. I used laundry heap and it was pretty easy but expensive. The hotel was nice and clean, the staff was helpful and patient with my limited French. Lots of food and really close to Gare De Lyon.

Property is clean, the staff is professional and friendly. The rooms are very comfortable and clean. The neighborhood is walkable, there is public transportation. Note: if you don’t do public transportation and plan on using bolt-it is easy to get a pickup to the hotel but the return from tourist sites took about 20 min wait time for me. Bolt drivers linger and then cancelled at least four of my ride requests. But this was peak season and I found it easier to walk the 30 minute distance than wait for a 27 min bolt ride.

We loved our stay here. The staff was really nice and friendly (they spoke good English) and went above and beyond to make sure we had a good stay. Check-in and check-out simple and quick. The location worked out great for us as it is walking distance from Gare Du Lyon station. The room and bathroom was very clean and all amenities were on point. There were no bed bug issues either, which I was worried about due to all the news going on around Sept and Oct 2023. We were also worried about room thefts so we made sure to lock our stuff before leaving but otherwise I did not feel that the staff moved our stole our stuff as the small items like toiletries and chargers were in their place when we returned at night. The area felt safe and there were no disturbances at night. Do expect small stairways and elevators like other buildings in Paris but that did not bother us. Everything was perfect and if I'm ever in Paris again, I would stay here!

Near to the train station. Location is ok but slightly noisy during midnight because it’s located at crowded area. The room is really small and I wonder why they have a very tiny washroom just in front of my room. Breakfast not included but have to pay 8€ for a simple continental breakfast.

I arrived around 10 pm and the front desk staff was very helpful with a quick checkin, cheerfully helped me unlock the door even fielded an early morning call from my daughter when I didn't answer her call and knocked on the door to make sure I was OK.
The room was clean and well appointed. Great pillow but only thing preventing 5 stars was a bed that slopes to the middle. Was out the door before breakfast. Would definitely recommend for a short stay.

The staff were very helpful about using the transit system, the hotel is 3 min from the train station, and our room had air conditioning, a life saver with Paris under a heat wave. Unfortunately the elevator was broken and our room was up 5 flights of stairs.

I lost my passport in Paris. While traveling through train, someone snatched my backpack. I lost all my valuables due to the theft. I didn't get any help from anyone when I described my situation to the hotel. The receptionist doesn't understand English, I had a tough time in Paris.

A small hotel in a lovely building, comfortable place to sleep and have a simple breakfast. The water pressure was good in the shower. The neighborhood was nice, safe, lots of restaurants and a quick walk to the Gare de Lyon. Very small room and bathroom, but it was all we needed. Great staff service. I highly recommend this hotel.

Perfect stopover !

Small room in hotel about 7 minutes walk to Gare de Lyon.
It was clean and quiet at night. Self-service breakfast.
For me it was just a stop over as no train to Geneva from
Paris after 19.30 p.m. Missed just a cup of tea in the room as no facilities for this.

Hotel Prince Albert Concordia.

The hotel is ideally placed for the Gare De Lyon and access to the Metro, the desk staff were friendly. It seems to be in need of a facelift/TLC as the front door had cracked glass. Despite saying we were travelling with a dog we appear to have had the smallest room in the hotel, it was very difficult to find somewhere for him to sleep safely without being stood on. The toilet was in a separate room from the wash hand basin so it was necessary to go across the bedroom to wash hands. The 12 noon checkout time was good as it gave us tome to cross Paris on the Metro to visit the outside of the Eiffel Tower.

I chose it because of its location, close to the Gare de Lyon Railway station as I need to take a 6+ am train in the morning. It is also close to metro station. There are stores and eateries around. The hotel is quite old except the toilet was refurbished. The room is quite small too. The service is OK but you need to leave the key behind when you leave the hotel. Sometimes the staff does not check your identity and there is some concern on security.

Very nice affordable hotel near Gare de Lyon

This was a very affordable, very pleasant hotel close to Gare de Lyon but with neighborhood businesses that were quite nice -- sandwiches, coffee, etc. The hotel was very efficient on check-in and check-out, gracious and helpful staff. Room was modest but reasonably sized by Parisian standards. I might not choose this for a long vacation, but as a business hotel it was great.

Low budget hotel near Paris Gare de Lyon

I did not hesitate much to book this hotel due to very close proximity to the train station (5 minute walk), since I arrived late by train and planned to stay overnight in the city before taking the direct bus to CDG the very next morning. Honestly, I was not expecting much given the low-budget rate less than three digits per night, but it turned out to be the most dilapidated hotel I've ever stayed in Europe since traveling there extensively during the past 20 or so years. The sheets and towels appear to be clean, but the black muck-like fungi build-up on the shower head joint was quite disgusting and a couple of silverfish scurring about in the shower drain the next morning pretty much summed up the quality level of this hotel. Next time, I will make sure to spend another hour or two in the evening to make the trip to CDG and stay at the hotels nearby featuring shuttle bus access, much more updated room and acceptable sanitary standards, all of which you can enjoy at the same rate or less of this particular hotel.

Friendly welcome. Clean tidy room - but looked after, had had a recent coat of paint.
Very convenient for access to the city - chosen for proximity to Bastille as we were visiting the Opera.
Only complaint was that the bathroom door stuck - but hardly a big deal!
A little cramped with a double and a single in the room, very little putting space - but for one night that wasn't really an issue.
WiFi worked well with decent bandwidth.

Great little hotel for those who want to be close to the main train station. In addition, it is also close to the metro lines so reaching the city centre was a breeze..

Room was clean and neat. No issues with staff. However, their system of luggage storage left much to be desired as they leave our luggage in plain view behind the front desk.

We selected this hotel because of its location which was perfect for our needs - just 5 minutes from the station. Leaving on train from Garett de Lyon.

We were leaving on the train from Paris to Barcelona. The next day at 7AM. The location is excellent. The people were great. The room was exceptionally clean. It is an older Paris hotel. Do not expect American Standards on size etc. That said I would stay again any time I have an early train from Gare de Lyon. Well worth the price

Very close to Gare de Lyon which was ideal as we had a late train and then were flying out the next day. There is a great bakery on the same block as the hotel. The bathrooms were very nice, they seem recently renovated. Otherwise this was a pretty typical Paris hotel, small rooms and pretty basic, but totally adequate, clean, and the staff was friendly and helpful.

Une seule remarque mais d'importance car elle a engendrée un sommeil difficile les 2 nuits : chaleur trop importante dans la chambre (23°c) et une climatisation qui ne fonctionne pas.
- impossible de baisser ou monter la T°c sur l'appareil dans la chauffage
- seul recours le mettre en position éteinte et ouvrir la fenêtre
- impossible de laisser lz fenêtre ouverte la nuit, donc on la ferme quand on se couche et on étouffe 2 h après...
- personnel à l'accueil visiblement ne sachant pas utiliser le système : la température ne se réglerait qu'à une valeur fixe et depuis la reception ??
- en partant un matin on a demandé de mettre la T°c à 19°c ..en rentrant le soir il faisait 23°c dans la chambre ???
