Very chic. Rooms immaculate. Outstanding breakfast. Guests need to be provided with a map - uber driver had no clear idea where to drop us off, and we spent 15 minutes finding the hotel. It then took five minutes to find someone to check us in, but he was very polite and gracious. Would definitely return when using Austerlitz station.

We absolutely loved our stay at Off Seine. It ia really one of the coolest places to stay in Paris with a great location. We were surprised how quiet it was even on a Saturday night with thousands of salsa, tango, techno and Breton folk dancers just minutes away along the quai. The staff were always lovely and helpful when our flight was canceled due to the Air Canada strike. A night on the orange design suite is highly recommended! We will be back! MERCI!

A different type of accommodation with all the quality of a good traditional hotel. It made a significant contribution to the enjoyment of our city break and definitely a consideration for all future trips to Paris.

Great innovative property with great staff. Close to two metro lines, and because of its location across from the train station, it was so easy to get a cab or Uber.

Actually a boat in the river, which I was not completely aware of and the thing actually rocks when other boats pass. So, in case you are sentitive to this, make sure you know what you book. Furthermore, this hotel/boat is well located between the metro Austerlitz and the Gare de Lyon, so very well connected to explore Paris and it's a lit of fun to be on a yacht instead of another boring hotel building.

Fun way to stay in Paris, but I’m still rocking as I’m terrible with any moving objects and I wasn’t aware the barge does actually rock pretty heavily. Furthermore, conveniently located close to metro, RER and train stations. The neighborhood itself does not have too much to offer, but it’s easy to get anywhere in Paris by metro.

Location was great. Close to the train station(s). My only complaint would be that there was a good amount of noise at night and I found it hard to sleep. Definitely will need white noise if you're a light sleeper.

Way overpriced. It is a storage container on a barge anchored to the wall of the river. It rocks so motion sickness is an issue. When the toilets flush it’s a loud zapping sound. There are other random zapping sounds and we couldn’t quite figure out the cause. We could hear people walking by so it is definitely not sound proof as advertised.

Although beautiful, the staff at this location, took their popularity too far. We were made to feel like an inconvenience when trying to use the public areas like the pool. They put more effort into people who are coming to dine at the restaurant than the people staying at the hotel. We tried to have a drink after an incredibly long journey and were told that we were in the way (in order for them to set up for dinner service at 4:45) . After this, we chose not to participate in anything that hotel had to offer other than sleeping. On another note, that there is a bar on the other side of the river that plays incredibly loud music on until 5 AM. Also note that if you are a female traveler, it does not feel safe, as the front door was always wide open upon our return at night with zero security or front desk staff.
The hotel itself is in a very convenient area near the Latin quarter, which has many bars and restaurants and is very walkable. The design is also quite unique and beautiful. The beds were super comfortable. You might be able to sleep from 5 AM until noon when the bar starts up again. Bring noise canceling headphones!

Was a beautiful property, but had some problems. The heat in the room didn’t work as well as some lights not working correctly. Overall staff was friendly and helpful, although there were a few who seemed uninterested in being of assistance to English speakers. Had them order a taxi for us to the airport that ran about twenty minutes late and was an expensive private car service. The restaurant was delicious and it’s really the only thing i would recommend.

Great view of Seine river on one side while terrible view on city side. No security at the gate. The code for the gate didn’t work sometimes so some taxi drivers went out of patient and dropped us at the gate (~ 1km from the hotel) at midnight. The service was good because they were willing to look for us when the taxi driver dropped us at the gate. Be prepare to spend extra time and fund for taxi due to gate trouble. Bring nausea medicines. No extra guest is allowed even if you are willing to pay because the room is tiny. You can barely move around. The pool is only nice to look at, not for swimming. In short, it’s a terrible place to stay. Not recommended.

From the moment we checked in to the moment we left are experience could not have been better. The staff could not do enough for us and the cleanliness was second to none. There was a fantastic atmosphere and the food was excellent.

The only things that were a con was the view of the homeless we could see through outside our window. The end of our stay the toilet would not flush and the drain in the shower was starting to slow down. The location was relatively close to all the destinations we wanted to experience in France! The hotel is nice. The location is good. The idea of staying on a boat is exciting. There was no communication between the night shift and the morning shift and our things were moved without our consent and we lost our toiletries which is very upsetting when you are traveling in a foreign country

It is a great location and it is fun to be on the water but there are a few problems. The service is really bad. The room is dark but at night there are too many lights (exit lights) that can’t be turned off. The bathroom is all together toilet and shower and it is wet all the time. They don’t even give you cups for water. The room is warm and it takes hours to cool it.

It was a great location and view of the Seine from our room. But service and the fact that we almost got asked to leave the restaurant because of a private party is not acceptable. A great quirky experience staying at the hotel and helps you see a lot more of Paris being slightly out and then walking along the river to Notre Dame (about 15 mins).
Downsides… locals use the riverbank outside your room as a party venue on Saturday evenings, the rooms are very small and some areas of the hotel are used as a dumping ground for equipment which is unsightly.
Probably recommend for any younger couple who are looking for a livelier stay.

Fantastic hotel with great amenities. I wouldn’t pay for breakfast as it is way too much for what you get but other than that the hotel is amazing. Great creative spot for a few nights on the River! I don’t know what some reviews meant when they said the AC doesn’t work, we were there during a heat wave (40 C) and the rooms were cool and very nice. Great spot with great service.

Recommended. The hotel or hotel boat is difficult for taxi drivers to locate. There is a train station across the street to use as a land mark and transportation (that is, Gare Austerlitz). We didn’t particularly care for the on-site restaurant as the food was too trendy. Restaurant staff did not want to accommodate room service or morning coffee to your room. Two note worthy employees are Daniel and Rose. Both Daniel and Rose always wanted to ensure we had positive service and encounters with hotel services and options even when it seemed hopeless. I want to praise Daniel and Rose. They are truly the diamonds of this hotel.

I booked this as liked the idea of floating on the River Seine and it was located within walking distance from the Accor Arena where I was seeing a concert. We were pleasantly surprised by how good the food was in the restaurant and the general layout of the rooms. Although they are very small, it was ideal for 1 nights stay. The lady on reception Ros was great! Very friendly and helpful.

This is a very unique stay in Paris. It is a boat so be aware that the floor will move under you soif you get see sick easily you should avoid. Overall at night there is almost no movement and the beds are extra comfortable for a great night sleep. The restaurant, bar and the deck with the pool area are worth the stay. The rooms facing the river are recommended. Rooms are not too small but large enough for a comfortable stay.

An absolute gem. Great, attentive staff. Well run. Beautifully put together boat-hotel. Gorgeous, comfortable rooms (no, they’re not big, but I’ve stayed in way smaller spots - plus the use of space is excellent). Good bar with a stellar view and great small restaurant with a mini-pool between then, and some outdoor seating on the lower deck. Right beside a metro and RER train station, and a stone’s throw from the Bastille and Le Marais. I would jump at the chance to stay here again, but as word gets out it’s going to book up for months ahead. (And yes, it is a boat, on a wide river, which means there is a very mild movement from time to time - but that’s part of the charm. Also, the noise is not an issue - sure, there are trains and traffic, but it’s the heart of Paris, what do you expect?the windows are solid and the internal sound is not a problem.)

Funky & different but poor location/functionality
This is a tough review. The hotel is a mixed bag. We loved the funkiness of the hotel but the location, noise factor and functionality of the room isn't good. We had their nicest suite and the lack of a shower is tough since the tub sits alone in the room without anything to keep water in if you want to shower and you are standing cold since the heat has nothing to keep it in. The room is very loud with a train going almost overhead every minute to few minutes and just noisy in general. There is very little sound insulation in the room. Lastly, there are homeless people camped out nearby and we witnessed at least one verbal assault on a woman walking alone. I think if you want funky and fun, this is it but it really isn't for everyone or most people. The staff was very welcoming and courteous and did their best but there are earplugs in the rooms for a reason.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at OFF, the staff were really friendly and helpful, we had a lovely room with a view of the river and everything was super clean. The rooms are small but not overly. Free tea / coffee at the bar and it was great to sit out by the pool with the heaters on - it wasn't cold at all. It was lovely and quiet whilst we were there because it was off season, I saw another review saying it was very noisy - not something we found but there are also earplugs in the rooms should you need them!

The actual property was really great, very unique. The only difficulty was trying to locate it with the taxi driver. We ended up being dropped off at the Gare de Lyon and walking. The rooms are definitely small but well appointed. The space is well designed and comfortable. The staff is mainly young people, very enthusiastic and helpful. We stored our luggage as we arrived early and the fellow at the desk gave us directions to the Catacombs. He also warned us about the transportation strike and told us that walking would be our best option. We ate on board for dinner. The tapas selection was wonderful and the food was beautifully prepared. There are coffee makers available 24-7.
