It’s hard to imagine a better base from which to explore Paris. Whether walking or using public transport, everything feels nearby from this hotel. Friendly, multilingual staff were great. Room could have been a tad cleaner. Buffet breakfast is expensive when there is gorgeous bakery right next door.

Great hospitable staff & superb breakfast!

This was our first hotel stay in Paris & it was well-within walking distance to Bercy Arena and very Olympic-friendly of an area; it was very conveniently situated close to the metro which was great for us; the breakfast buffet was absolutely incredible & we were hard-pressed to find any other that could compare the rest of our time in France; the hotel room was difficult to cool, so it was a bit stuffy at times but our beds were quite comfy; the key card for lift use was something to get used to, but it was manageable not to mention a good safety feature; the staff were all overwhelmingly friendly, helpful and kind—-we are keeping Mercure hotels on our go-to list in our future travels.

Great service! They all speak English and make you feel welcome. We for a bit earlier and they offered to take our luggage while we went out to eat. Our room was very clean but a bit small for a family of four. We had to be creative about where to put our luggage to be able to walk around. Their breakfast and service were great.

Great experience! All of the hotel staffs were extremely professional, friendly, and helpful. I travel a lot for work all over Europe, the gentleman Hadi at the front desk was one of the best I have encountered. Convenient location- restaurant, metro, grocery store, Seine river across the street. Will definitely stay there again!

Location is near the metro Quai station which makes it easy to go around.

Amazing service from Jean-Francois who prepared breakfast even if we had to leave the hotel by 5am. He served me coffee while waiting for our ride to the airport. He is just love 😊 amazing service indeed!

Very disappointed with the lack of service due to unforeseen circumstance during my trip. Unfortunately my flight to Paris was cancelled due to aircraft issue and both hotels.com and Mercure Paris hotel was not able to accommodate my situation. I had called right when the flight was cancelled and I just ended up losing the money and this has ruined my vacation. Will not book through both website and hotel anymore.

Decent hotel close to both Gare d’Austerlitz and Gate de Lyon. Also, located right across the street from the Metro. Very helpful staff. Only complaint was that we had ordered a room with two beds, but they gave us one. It took about 1/2 hour to solve the problem. Other than that, things were fine. Good price.

Nice staff, OK room for Paris standard/prices , Location OK if you are willing to take the subway, .....there is a very intense ugly artificial smell on the floor I was staying that made me feel nauseus whenever I took the elevetor. A nice place, right in front of the metro station which is really convenient because the metro gives you access to virtually every place in Paris. We were happy with our room.
one annoying detail is that they close the main gate and you need to use the bell which we didn't like because sometimes we had to wait outside (in the cold) for some one to answer ... and they weren't always quick to answer

Paris on a budget

Enjoyed the stay at this hotel close to metro train, shops, and the Seine river. Excellent staff who did all that was requested of them.
Wish they would supply real cups and not plastic water cups for coffee. They did give us cups daily on asking, but the cleaners removed them daily also. Would recommend to all who want a budget stay near Paris.

This is a very satisfactory hotel with an excellent breakfast and bar. My only complaint was that I located it by a search for a hotel close to the Bibliotheque nationale in Paris and this is even suggested by its name. However it is by the neeMittersnd branch of the BN far south and at least a 30 minute metro ride from the main BN on Richelieu. This should be indicated on their website.

Close to the train station, metro and arena.

The hotel was at the other side of Paris which was a bit of a pain to get to through traffic as we used a shuttle bus but close to the arena which was what we wanted. Trains or metro might be better as right opposite the hotel. Also a Supermarket opposite, pattiserie next door and bars/restaurant close by. Lovely walk down the side of the river Seine in to Paris if feeling ambitious.

Very good hotel with friendly, helpful staff. Excellent breakfast. Bit out of the centre, but found it easy to get places using the metro station opposite the hotel (Quai de la Gare). Only drawback was that there were very few restaurants nearby and the menus weren't very appealing. I had my main meal midday, which was fine as it is a much cheaper option.

We had a 2 night stay, the Foo Fighters where playing at the Accor arena, which is 5 mins walk away. Hotel is lovely and clean and the staff are helpful and friendly. We used uber for a trip to the Eiffel Tower. Would definitely recommend this hotel.

I have stayed at the hotel in July. Nearby subway station was under construction so the walk was quite long and unexpected. There were homeless people laying down under the overpass which was very uncomfortable judging by the whistling. Hotel door were closed shut to any person trying to get in. One would have to ring the door bell to get an assistance which took over 5 - 10 minutes. Room was okay, nothing spectacular.

Hotel has Metro station right out front door. The stop was under construction but less than 5 minute walk to next station. Staff were super friendly and helpful. Great resturant right next door that has lots of outdoor seating. Only downside... Parking is extremely limited but big parking garage less than block away!

Very nice hotel in the commercial area of Paris.

We were pleased with our two day stay at the Mercure Paris Bercy. The hotel is in the modern style, very clean and new looking. Rooms were smallish but more than adequate, efficiently laid out and spotless.
Staff at the reception desk were super friendly and very helpful. Hotel appears to be aimed at travellers in Paris's south end business area. Not much in the area in way of tourism/sight seeing, but within walking distance of the metro, train stations and a few restaurants. There is a breakfast at cost which is very good.

This would be a great place except it is in a fairly remote location. There is a Metro stop (No.6) across the street, tho. Check your Metro maps to see where it goes besides the Eiffel Tower and Montparnasse.

There is a decent cafe on the corner and a large convenience store across the street.

I noticed there is what appears to be public housing behind the hotel, but I saw no evidence of problems that US residents associate with that.

It is a 10+ minute walk tho the nearest other \"town\" that has more restaurants.

Just ok for business traveler, better for tourist

Visited on business and stayed here due to proximity to the Accenture office.

The breakfast was sufficient but pricey and the room I received was the smallest of the privilege floor rooms on the 7th floor. It was difficult to use the desk as intended as it was cluttered with the coffee machine and supplies and electric kettle, all moved so I could work. There was only one usable outlet at the desk too. I was there for 4 days and found a lack of usable space to store my clothes outside of my suitcase (hate leaving clean clothes in suitcase) and with only 4 hangers, I had to pick what I wanted hung. There were two shelves inside a tower where the fridge and safe were, but one was so low and the other too high to be usable except for storing the desk clutter.

Would I stay here again? Yes. It was a very convenient location for getting to the Eiffel Tower, on my day off, from the train station located across the street. There were also plenty of decent choices for dinner within an easy 10-15 minute walk.

We stayed at the hotel in early August, when the maximum temperature was about 30c (85f). The hotel room was very clean and comfortable. The only issue was with the air conditioning. It was too weak, despite being on max. We had to open the windows to cool down, but the noise would keep us awake.

The hotel is spotless, quiet, and rooms are roomy in comparison to the usual Parisian hotel. There are tea/coffee facilities in each room and fridge.

Staff are fluent in English and the brief encounters we had with them approachable and providing a great service.

There is a small supermarket over the road to pick up any forgotten items. There is a bakery / patisserie next door and two doors down a great mixed crowd brasserie called Lili et Marcel. These are all pros for convenience. Other than this, choices are limited to just those without having to hop on the metro, taxi or walk some distance. It doesn't feel very \"heart of Paris\" in the neighbourhood. Otherwise it is a reliable hotel.

We only had to days in Paris, but it served our purpose to stay here. It's within walking distance to the train station and metro. The restaurants in the area are very tasty and would recommend eating there. The front desk was very nice and helpful. The aircon had a difficult time cooling the room as it was unusually hot so it was worth having it. Otherwise, I can't imagine sleeping through the night!

First impression - the staff at the reception was so helpful even before we can reach the hotel. We called up while coming from the airport to know which station to get off from the train. The staff also helped us to find our way going to the city. The restaurant was clean and looks like better than its class and breakfast reasonably priced.

Hotel staff very friendly and helpful. Most spoke good English. Area convenient to the metro line. Area a bit iffy. Witnessed an accident involving a girl on a bike and a lorry. She was alright apart from a broken leg. Traffic very fast. Tea and coffee facilities very useful! Hotel breakfast cost 18 euro so we went to the supermarket across the road from the hotel, bought milk etc and made our own breakfast in the room! Mini bar not stocked but very useful as a fridge!

This hotel was perfect for our two days in Paris. We had a suite on the corner of the top floor with a balcony with a view of the Seine at a reasonable cost. Our 13-year-old son was able to sleep in his own room on the sofa bed with a TV and separate shower. The furnishings were modern and new, and the room was fresh and clean. Lovely deep bathtub (that took a long time to fill) with shower. The hotel is right next to the #6 metro line---which doesn't connect directly to the main tourist attractions, but is easy enough to connect to other lines.

excellent hotel for the price. reflects the 4 stars it been getting. the location is a bit off from some of the main attractions but that's what the nearby metro us for. our room includes breakfast and that was really good as well. the room was pretty much sound proof. only thing I would concern on is when we post the do not disturb sign one of the last day then service person still went in and clean our room. we wanted it the way it is as we had purchased some items we did not want others to enter.
