The quiet room with comfortable bed is spacious for 2 persons in Paris. The location is very close to metro train station and restaurants. The staff is very helpful to contact CDG airport baggage claim service because our luggage was delayed due to snow.

The hotel is spotless, and the staff were excellent. There is a metro station within a short walk that makes the location very convenient, without being in the center of the city. We were given room 001, which is off the breakfast room on the ground floor. It’s relatively small, but we had enough room for our needs. The rooms location made for a noisy couple of nights. Basically every time someone in the rooms above used the plumbing ( shower or toilet) we were awaken by the sounds of flushing water. For our second night, we used ear plugs, which resulted in a restful sleep. Would we use this hotel again? Absolutely.

We enjoyed our stay here. The reception staff was very helpful and welcoming, especially Dawa. Room wasn't too big, but enough and very clean. They provided a crib for the baby which was helpful. We loved the organic and natural approach for the shampoo and hand soap. I also loved the magnifying mirror in the bathroom. Breakfast was good too. We would deffinitely recommend.

Valejiza, I think that’s how you spell her name was there on our arrival and was welcoming and very helpful. Unfortunately there was a fill in while the other permanent staff member was on holiday. So what we had then was a man that made us feel like we were invading his space and time. Interrupt him on his phone. But apart from that everything was clean and the leafy street was a beautiful view from our room. Hot water was instant for the shower. Location was brilliant. Thanks

Staff very helpful. Hotel very clean. Convenient location for me, close to friends. Safe in room, big enough for a laptop. A/C, but set at 22 C. 24/7 front desk. Elevator. Close to groceries, restaurants, mall, subway.
Scond stay there for me and will stay again. Excellent prices.

I like the room itself.
It was enough for one person.
The bed mattress not very comfortable, looks used a lot and in my opinion need to be replaced.

Only one thing I was surprised with ,it was the noise from the next door.I was able to hear everything through the wall, when the other person was talking.

Jack’s Hotel was perfect for our needs. As other reviewers have commented, the room is small, but it is quiet and the bed was comfortable. It does have an elevator, which was helpful with our heavy suitcases, although it did take two trips for our two suitcases as the elevator is also small. The front desk was helpful and friendly and check-in was easy. There are numerous restaurants within walking distance and we felt that it was a safe area to walk around in even at night. We had a good sleep due to its location on a quiet street. I think that it is a good value for Paris.

Staff at Jack’s Hotel were friendly and accommodating. My family appreciated the kindness at the reception (thanks to Dawa) while we stayed for 5 nights. Rooms are small but comfortable. The automatic blinds were a great plus for a good night of sleep. The noise level was perfect and the location close to the metro and many restaurants and the Italy 2 Mall, at walking distance.

A great little hotel! We were 2 people and only stayed one night. The neighborhood is very quiet and super easy to get to the metro and take the bus. Lots of great dining options in the area. Bed is firm but comfortable, the pillows are a little thin but I just folded them in half lol.
It can be a little noisy if the other folks are being loud, but it was quiet throughout the night for us.
The staff was very nice- the lady at the front desk let us check in an hour early since there were rooms ready which we really appreciated.

Although the hotel is designated as non-smoking, I noticed smoke coming through the HVAC vent in my room. Concerned about the issue, I promptly called the front desk and asked them to investigate whether someone might be smoking near the return air duct or if the central air system was pulling in smoke through the fresh air intake duct. After my call, the issue appeared to be resolved, as I did not notice any further smoke odors.

Place d'Italie isn't the most interesting area in Paris, but it's well placed for transport links. It's also near the Bercy village, Too hotel and Bibliotec. The hotel itself was very clean and had reasonable facilities - kettle and tea. The staff was happy to give me fresh milk and very helpful with booking restaurants, giving directions and generally very friendly. Unusual for Paris! :)

If you’re looking at this hotel to book in Paris, just go ahead and book . I cannot fault it in any way .You are 20 mins on the metro from all the main sites which is around the corner about a few hundred meters .
Room is a tiny bit small but they are all small in Paris .. 10 out of 10 from us .. ⭐️

Wonderful quiet stay in the heart of Paris. The room was small (as all are in Paris) but had everything we needed. The staff was friendly and accomodating and the location was close to transit while still being quiet at night for sleeping. Getting into the bathroom was a sideways squeeze past the washbasin for the hubby. Shower was big enough though.

Had a bit of trouble with the TV, the remote control lettering all worn out, had to guess what the buttons were for. Also antenna connection dodgy, but they fixed that.

Quiet night of sleep in very good comfortable bed. Very clean. Great shower pressure and hot shower. Good quality shower gel and hand soap products that didn't dry out skin. Friendly and helpful staff - Dawa was wonderful. Tea and coffee in room. Full length mirror. Well lit room. Fairly silent air conditioning which worked well when 34°C outside. Minor point: A few of the tiles in the actual shower unit were crumbling, loose or missing - take flip flops to wear in the shower to avoid scrapes and lurking bacteria.

Check in took forever, how hard can it be? As it's an old building, lift is minute, so you may have to wait long time. Room was small which is typical for Paris, pretty comfortable room, nice and clean. Could hear next door so no noise insulation. It was fine for one night, would stay again if catching a train from Austerlitz which is less than 15 mins walk.

The staff is very good. I especially appreciated the day-time staff and Valeska was the most warm, welcoming hostess I could ask for. She was encouraging as we tried to speak French and was ready to help us in English as needed. What a pleasure to start off this trip to Paris with her!

Our room was clean and bright. There was a remote controlled metal shutter for the window to keep street noise out and we slept peacefully. From our room we could see several Paris landmarks in the distance. Breakfast was good and we are very happy with our choice to stay there.

I picked this location because of an early morning meeting nearby. This isn't near the touristy section but everything is easily accessible from this hotel. I would not hesitate a moment to stay there again.

This was by far the best 3 star hotel I've stayed in in Europe. The location was great. - near 2 subway stations.. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Our room was perfect.

A horrible mistake

On Sept. 5, 2018, during the mid-night, two people suddently opened the door of my unit when my wife and I were sleeping. I called the desk right away and the male staff said it was just a mistake. Next day morning, at the front desk, a female staff said their system had some problems and apologized. But, this kind of mistake can be prevented from by many ways. And, both my wife and I cannot accept this kind of mistake and apology.

The cleaning lady left my door open after she came to make my bed. My room and personal belongings were left accessible for any clients and staff until I came back at the end of the day after midnight. I told the night person at reception immediately but my message wasn't passed on to the morning person. I was offered 1.65EUR in compassation for this major safety breach. I think this is offending and unacceptable. I will never return to Jack's Hotel.

I love this hotel. It’s very reasonably price. In a good, quiet area, very close to National metro. There are two supermarkets nearby, and many small restaurants.

The hotel itself is very basic, but clean and decent. Rooms are okay sized, air con works really well and is quiet. There are many sockets next to the beds for charging devices. The mattress is comfortable.
The staff are super friendly and kind.

13th arrondaissement works for me!

Off the beaten path. Easy access to subway, grocery, & great wine, cheese, and bread/pastry shops. Room was in great condition and very clean. Stay was during a difficult time for the hotel to control its ventilation, possibly due to climatic uncertainty. Found the A/C system to be erratic and prone to shutting down in the middle of the night. Hotel provides feather comforters on the bed, fine for winter, but too much for warmer weather ... or when the A/C doesn't work. Brought this to the attention of the reception desk staff 3 times and it took 3 days to correct. The agent was apologetic and offered to move us to another room. (And what assurance was there that another room didn't have the same systemic problem?) Our final 2 nights were satisfactory because they found a way to \"override\" the system. (No offer to compensate for the discomfort) Jack's Hotel is a good choice for access, cleanliness, staff competence, etc. The walls are somewhat \"thin\" and we heard TV shows from adjoining rooms, slamming room doors, and a zesty session of headboard to wall banging and moaning by a couple enjoying the romance of Paris in the Spring. Oh, Oui, Oui! Wi-Fi worked. I can recommend Jack's Hotel with the above reservations. I was impressed with the assistance and cordiality of the desk officer named \"Viktoria\". She is exactly what a guest would hope for in a hotel staff. She provided suggestions, directions and excellent English assistance.

Nice small, clean hotel in Place D'Italie

I found that I had been upgraded to a premium room on my arrival which was a nice surprise. I had a decent sized room, with plenty of room to do my daily yoga routine. A nice balcony window with views of the top of the Eiffel tower in the distance. Clean and modern hotel with adequate breakfast with cereals, eggs, bread, croissants, yogurts, fruit, juices, coffee/teas. I also had a kettle in my first room, though when I returned to Paris a week later, had a smaller room with no tea/ coffee facilities. (though on enquiry was told it could be provided). Lovely helpful staff on a 24 front desk, especially Veronika. Good maps of city/metro provided free. Close to Place D'Italie metro and not far from San Michel. Walking distance from Notre Dame ( about 35 mins at a good pace and even closer to Jardin Des Plantes.Also walk to Gare D'Austerlitz with luggage easily ( about 25 mins) Would definitely stay again at Jack's!

Small, cute hotel. Staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good (breads, croissants, cheese, and the typical). Breakfast lady was very nice. Rooms are tiny (European standard) but cozy. We had a balcony with a great view. The elevator is impressively tiny. Location is a bit far from city center, but it was worth it. I was glad to be away form all the tourists and the commotion. This lets you experience Paris as a local would do. Many stores, restaurants and cafes in the vicinity. The area near the metro station (5 minutes walking) looks a little bit shady but it was safe. There is a big shopping center next to the station but we didn't go. Gobelins avenue is great. We enjoyed our walk there. It also has a Carrefour city where you can buy great bread and great cheese, at half the price.

Would definitely come back!

With a boulangerie/patisserie, charcuterie, supermarket and plenty of restaurants within 5-10 mins walk, this hotel is the perfect base for getting out and about in Paris. The Hotel was in a nice quiet area, very close to the metro station D'italie. There is also a shopping centre next the metro where there are restaurants, shops, cafe (where we would have breakfast, croissants, sandwiches) There is also a supermarket for food, water bottles.

The staff at the hotel were very helpful. I had a room booking only i cannot comment on the breakfast but i must say there is plenty of places to eat if you book a room only.

The room was very clean and no space wasted considering the room is small by UK standards, but its good for Paris. The bathroom is compact but it OK if you just need a place to crash. I was more impressed with the hotel staff and the area, location.

I would definitely go there again.

cold and wet winter

room on the 6 floor cute but tiny you have to move sideways.
Couldn't get the room to be warm even with the heat on 22 outside t° was cold, rained all night on the door of the balcony. Bathroom is for midgets.
asked to be waken at 7:00, phone rang at 7:15. Bed confortable though. Room could be O.K. for 1 person (slim!).
It's better to rent a studio in an apartment hotel for the same price in the same area: more room and you can cook.

Nice cosy hotel at a good location

Jack's hotel is a small but comfortable and the staff are pleasant and very helpful. Although the room we stayed in was rather small, the double bed was very comfortable. The room itself was very clean. The assigned room did not have a bathtub and the shower was really really small. There was only just enough space to sit on the toilet to do your thing, so if one is chubby or big bodied, it may be worthwhile to check the room first and ask to be relocated to a bigger one/with a bathtub and a toilet not wedged between a narrow space. Breakfast was magnificent and the service ladies in the kitchen were very pleasant and welcoming. When booking, it is worthwhile to include breakfast as it is good value for money.

Wonderful hotel

Arriving from England we checked in and despite trying several times, the room key would not open the door. We were immediately assisted by the reception staff and the handyman, who was very friendly. He established that he could not open the door either and moved us to another room immediately. Couldn't ask for more. Would stay again and recommend it to anyone.

Amazing value lovely hotel

Really clean, tidy and nicely decorated throughout. Had view of Eiffel tower. Wonderful surprise. Room had really comfy bed, free wifi, tea/coffee, bath. Excellent value.
