I found the hotel rooms to be shockingly basic. But my basic might be pretty ok to someone else so I guess it depends on the individual. But the biggest put off was a urine stain on the inside of the toilet. From that moment on I was sick in my stomach and couldn’t wait to return home to England. I suppose you get what you pay for.

Oscar was lovely at reception. The reception area was decent, the breakfast was ok too, lovely croissants and pastries. But I would never return. The pictures of the room are deceiving online, yes it’s the same room but the quality is awful. The floor is an odd fabric and it just wasn’t great. I called the room the prison. There is a local link to the metro not far which is handy but for me this hotel wasn’t suitable which is a shame as the staff are so lovely.

Comfortable stay, good location, close to metro and RER C line.
Welcoming staff who welcomed you with a smile everytime.
Breakfast included (always a bonus)
Not so good ; no tea / coffee facilities in the room, no blind or net curtain in room so had to have curtains closed for privacy, 2 out of the four pillows in the room smelt of stale sweat, thats never pleasant.
Really expensive, over €200 a night is just crazy for this comfortable but basic hotel.

You can’t go wrong with an Ibis, which I’ve affectionately described as what would happen if the Holiday Inn and Ikea had a baby. I’ve stayed in many throughout Europe, and they’ve never let me down. Clean, comfortable, friendly, with an upbeat energy, and inexpensive.

Check-in was a breeze. My room was simple yet provided everything I needed: A full bath including a tub, a desk, and a full-sized bed. Rooms are quiet, although I could hear noise outside occasionally at night.

This Ibis is nearby the National Library of France. The neighborhood is vibrant but a little out of the way, so I didn’t see throngs of tourists as I found in other areas of Paris. Nearby subway, though I prefer to walk.

Breakfast buffet is also a nice perk for a hotel stay. Ibis carries the usual array of bread and other carbs, with a few added touches such as fresh-squeezed orange juice, cold cuts, and cheeses.

Only drawback is location: If you want to be nearby popular spots such as the Eiffel Tower, you’re in for a bit of a trek. Otherwise, you can’t go wrong with this Ibis Styles.

This hotel is a gold mine. Far enough from the center so that you can actually rest, but close enough via the great Paris Metro. Breakfast is great. Area around is very safe, and there are many places to eat nearby. Staff is very helpful. Mariana and Sabrina are the best. Thank you so much!!!

Pleasant, ten night stay.

Hotel was off to a bad start, as I was last one to arrive, that evening, and was put in a room (407) that smelled of tobacco smoke (illegal in French hotels for many years, now.)

They did, however, move me into a satisfactory room by 11am, next morning.

Reasonable location, with stops for at least 6 different bus routes, Metro line 14, and RER line C, all within 300 metres of hotel.

Two supermarkets, and many other shops and cafes, within a 5 minute stroll.

Functional, clean and comfortable room and bathroom, with good air-conditioning, and with extra channels in English, Spanish and Italian on the TV, along with Canal+ for live sport.

When one bedroom light ceased working, it was replaced within 24 hours.

Good variety and 4 hours, or more, available for the buffet breakfast service.

All staff have a good attitude to guests.

Great Stay at the ibis Styles Tolbiac Bibliotheque

The ibis Styles Paris Tolbiac Bibliotheque was very clean. It was great having access to breakfast at the hotel. The front desk staff was very accommodating. Reasonably priced. The air conditioning was very questionable as it never seemed to get cool in the room, Great Thai restaurant within walking distance.Good access to food stores and bakeries. I enjoyed my stay!

Fantastic B&B hotel to use as a base to visit Paris. Rooms are clean and comfortable although alittle compact.
Exceptionally clean and tidy and very well run with plenty of staff on hand if in need of help
Breakfast is plentiful and a good continental choice of food.
A few minutes walk from the Metro Statiom, supermarkets and cafe bars close by.
Highly recommend and would definitely use again as a base to explore.

A hotel with an excellent value. Close to a metro/RER station where you can easily access to many tourist attractions. The neighborhood is good but you may see some graffiti which may cause you some insecurity. The hotel room itself is pretty small. The double room was quite filled up with two large luggage. The facility seems a little bit outdated; however, the building is kept clean. The breakfast is outstanding for the price what I had paid for.

Minor disadvantages are no coffee machine (except for breakfast area) and very slow internet.

The hotel is located a few minutes away from the Bibliotheque Francois Mitterand RER/Metro Station, and from there you can easily get about to other Locations in Paris or on the outskirts of Paris (using RER C Line)

Staff all spoke English which was great as my French is awful. We had an issue with air conditioning not working in our original room, but we were allowed to swap rooms to a ground floor with functioning air conditioning , which was needed since during our stay it was 25-30 C outside.

Wifi was fast and reliable, and free. Safe in room. Tv provided but didn't watch as not here to watch French Tv.

Breakfast was included, which had a great selection of choices for continental.

Lots of restaurants within 5-10 minutes walk. Supermarket nearby and a 24 hour mini market.

Overall a good hotel for a 4 night stay in Paris. Great value for money.

We had a 4 day stay at Ibis Tolbiac, late August. The location worked well for us, and by booking well in advance we got a good rate.
The included breakfast was very good, with freshly squeezed orange juice and an expresso machine.
As is usual at an Ibis, the room was functional and clean, although fairly small. But overall good value, and I would stay there again.

Don't bother - in fact, try the quality inn next door instead. Average breakfast (if it's stocked) we went during a 'busy' time, nothing was left except for cheese. It took 10mins to re-stock anything and bread was one of the last things to be replenished. Elevator didn't work at one point - staff didn't seem surprised either.. Housekeeping kept trying aircon to 18 degrees in our room for no apparent reason, bed had hairs from previous guests between mattress and sheet, not great to know. I'm sure there's better around for similar price. Metro just down street though, a bit out of Paris, not ideal spot but restaurants around hotel and good food trucks just down the street for a tasty cheap eat.

Ibis not at its best, don't bother

The room was just a room with double bed, pretty standard a tad grotty on walls etc but nothing too bad. Close to metro, staff friendly, good restaurants and food trucks in area. The breakfast we very average if not pathetic. Bread sticks, yoghurt cereal and some cheese (of course some croissants too) but you couldn't toast bread or have a decent musli. A few days during busy times however there was no food at all and had to wait 10mins for anything to be re-stocked, frustrating. the maids kept turning down our thermostat by 10 degrees, not sure why that's on the to do list but annoying coming back to a cold room every night. The escalator was not working one day either. Finally (although not the hotels fault) the guests smoked regardless of rules and slammed their doors of all hours which echoed through our room. Not overly impressed, wouldn't recommend (especially considering the ibis we're staying in Geneva now is 10 times better). There's a Quality Inn almost next door - I'd try my luck there first.

Well connected to the Metro/RER C, central Paris is minutes away. The Hotel is pretty basic but clean and comfortable. Good Shower/Bath. The Breakfast is included is very good indeed. The surrounding Area is Residential and there are plenty of Bars/ Restaurants in the Area. Bercy Village across the Bridge and Rue Tolbiac towards Olympiades have plenty of variety. Great location to stay in Paris.

We are a family of three who used this hotel during our recent visit to Paris. Overall very good experience with the hotel. The hotel is very conveniently located close to the Gare de Lyon station (10 minutes by taxi) and the Mitterand Bibliotheque Metro station (RER C & Metro line M14, three minutes walk to the hotel). The RER-C directly links to a number of Paris' locations and the Versailles Palace - we found it extremely convenient to travel around in Paris and getting to Versailles. The neighbourhood is very neat - lot of Japanese / Asian / Pizza eating spots with a couple of Indian restaurants close by; a Decathlon and H&M located across the block.

We found the breakfast spread to be a little spartan (compared to other IBIS Styles hotels that we have stayed at), the pillows a little soft in terms of providing support and the room a little cramped (given that we were 3 of us).

Definitely recommend the hotel - both for families and individuals. It is a very clean, convenient and value for money hotel for a Paris stay.

This was our second stay in this nice hotel. The location is great, just a little distance from the Train station. It felt safe to come back to the hotel late in the night. Breakfast was acceptable. The room was compact and good value for the money. It was cleaned everyday to a good standard. All equipment were operational. If we had to really complain about anything it was that the room felt a bit too warm. This is even after we adjusted the air conditioning. But it was a minor point considering it was a lovely holiday. Will definitely stay here next time we are in Paris.

The ibis Styles Paris Tolbiac Bibliotheque was a lovely hotel. Clean and bright with a friendly atmosphere. The room was perfect, newly decorated I think. The sky Tv was great and the room had internet (albeit slightly slow). There was a good choice at breakfast (continental) and the service was great. I forgot my toothbrush and they had a convenient machine in the lobby where i could buy one. Great!

The hotel itself wasn't bad, but the location it was in was not particularly good. In fact there was a sign as we were driving that indicated we were leaving the tourist area. Having said that, we experienced no problems and the hotel is close to the metro system as well as a \"hop-on hop-off\" bus location, which I would say is worth it for any first time visitors to Paris who want to know the main attractions around the city and get on and off as the please to visit them.
As per usual the hotel breakfast is over priced, but there are not many options in the area, we usually took the metro downtown to find something good.
The front desk staff were helpful and gave us good recommendations for restaurants to go to, and always willing to help with any other questions.
If you have a car then make sure you call ahead and verify that there is a spot for you because the parking is underground and there are only about 6 spots.
I would say that this is a good budget travellers hotel, but if you have the means then I would recommend staying closer to the tourist areas.
