Rooms were clean but very small. I was put on the first floor which was very loud at night. Pool was fantastic! Breakfast was ok. Would’ve liked to see more variety.

The hotel Pool area and communal areas were a big let down. Dated in the 1980’s.

The rooms were ok size. However, air con wasn’t the best. There was dust on the side tables in the rooms. Beds were very squeaky.

I DID NOT LIKE THE FACT THAT MY INITIAL ROOM WAS CHANGED AND MY CO WORKER AND I HAD TO SLEEP IN THE SAME BED THE ENTIRE TIME AND AFTER SHOWERING THE BATH TUB AND COUNTER WAS PACKED WITH ANTS WE WERE SUPPOSED TO HAD CHANGED ROOMS STARTING THE 1ST NIGHT STAY OVER AT 3 DIDNT HAPPEN THE NEXT DAY AFTER SEEING THE FIRST 2 ROOMS WE WERE TO CHANGE AGAIN DIDNT HAPPEN THEN WE SAW A 3RD ROOM STILL NO CHANGE IT WAS CONTINUOUSLY TALKED ABOUT BUT NEVER HAPPENED AFTER BEING ASKED TO SEE A 4TH ROOM AND MORE TALK OF CHANGE I EVENTUALLY DECLINED REALIZING THAT IT WAS JUST A GAME BEING PLAYED BUT OVERALL I LOVED THE STAFF THEY WERE THE BEST AND THE HOTEL WAS VERY CLEAN

My daughter and i had a 4 night stay. Location was fantastic for the sights of Paris but also in a neighbourhood of its own and we found a fabulous restaurant close-by which was find of the trip! Staff we very friendly and served a good breakfast - would definitely return.

Three day trip to Paris hotel well placed for bars restaurants etc 2 minutes to Tolbiac metro 50 metres to the Globe bar very busy sitting on street 3.50€ pint happy hour. Hotel breakfast was adequate plenty of choice reception fast and efficient swimming pool in basement warm and not busy room a good size water hot. Ideal hotel for a short stay in Paris

Over all I would give this a 6 out of 10 overall

The property is very dirty, looks like someone was sick out side our room as stain was still on carpet.
Parking is great if you have a small car but my small van got stuck in the carpark and there was no where else to park other than €50 a day parking. The location is really good though as you are at the Center of most places. If your not driving it’s not a bad place to stay really just very dated. The pool is ok again just basic but does the job for a little dip.

Service was curt. The bed was very comfortable. Mini fridge in the room is a big plus, but no mini bar. The room was only partially done in the morning (only the bed was made) - no new towels or toiletries. Slippers and bathrobe provided. Definitely not the advertised 4 star.

The property was beautiful. Clean. Nice pool. The woman at the front desk at check in was amazing. She even came and helped us fix the tv that didn’t work. The man the night before we left was not at all helpful. We got pickpocketed in the metro and when I asked him to call the police he REFUSED. He told us to WALK TO THE POLICE STATION AT 11 pm. In a neighborhood we didn’t know. NOT COOL.

At the entrance, lots of dirty. Nobody feel welcome in a dirty place.
The room I had selected and paid extra for was not available . Staff at noght took almost 30 minutes todo the check in.
No excuses for the lack of room or any willingness to make the guest welcome at the property.

The beds were stiff as boards ( would never go back for this reason )
Our so called garden view was not much of a garden view.

The Breakfast was the same everyday, not enough people eating for the hot food to be fresh
They Took our robes after the the first day, asked for them back multiple times (never did get returned)
Only 2 small towels provided, Had to ask for towels everyday, and it was not always possible because there was only one desk person.

Good facilities (pool, car park and dog friendly)

Car park difficult to find and narrow, but despite this our large estate car fitted in and provided peace of mind as the car was safe and secure for the time we were there.

On check in we were told we only had 1 night booked. We had 2 and I provided evidence of this. The room itself was not huge but in the middle of Paris this isn't unusual. The bathroom was good, plenty of hot water, clean bathroom and working bath and shower (although the bath tub is extremely narrow). The bedroom was OK - the bed not very comfortable though and the sheets a little rough. There was dust on the bedside cabinets and the room looked unloved and in desperate need of a bit of TLC.

We used the swimming pool on both days - it was empty each time. There was no charge for bringing our dog. This is why we chose the hotel - location, car park, free wifi swimming pool and pet friendly at no extra cost. Location was good, easy to walk to Notre Dame etc.

Good location, Metro a few paces away, Place d'Italie aound the corner, shopping, great access to everything you want to see in paris. 4-star rating is a bit problematic but if you get a good deal on the price (not Euro 250 per night as the standard rate seem to be) you should be able to enjoy an acceptable degree of comfort, convenience and some elegance. A bit more maintenance would not hurt. Staff speak good English. By the way the steet market on Place d'Italie (Sunday??) was one of the best ones I had seen in Paris, incredible amount and quality of cheese, wine, meat, fruit on display. Indulge your senses.

Only two staff members were accomodating on the first day of our stay. (I forgot their names, but they both were at the desk the day we arrived. The young woman was a lovely young European woman of African descent and the gentleman was tall, European of African descent). They both were very pleasant. We also were served by a young white gentleman of European descent who gave us good directions to the various sites and transportation info.

Despite these few staff members who gave us good service, overall, our stay was not memorable nor as nice as it could have been. We were a family/friends group of 20 and the last night of our two night stayed decided to sit in the lounge area. The staff member on duty turned off the light on us and told us to be quiet. We were not partying, but rather conversing about the day and enjoying each other's company. We were not pleased about the level of disrespect we were shown when we were told to hush and the lights were turned off.

In addition, the rooms were not the cleanest, and they did not provide the free breakfast as we were assured by Hotels.com. Prior to our arrival, I called Hotels.com several times and was told breakfast was complimentary. The hotel did not honor this and told us there was a charge. Needless to say, we had breakfast elsewhere. Overall, my experience was only mediocre and most likely, I will not come back to this hotel.

Great stay in Paris

I studied a map of Paris and found this hotel with good reviews, at walking distance of many good Asiatic restaurants and shopping centers, 1 minute walk from a metro station. I must say that I will definitely come back, it's a quiet and comfortable place and the staff was friendly although the morning I arrived I had to wait what I felt and eternity to have a room because there was only 1 person handling everything at the front desk.

I found the room to be spacious and clean. the room was very warm in the evening, and air conditioning worked but didn't seem easy to adjust, however no real issue. there was a suitcase stand for one case, since I had 2 cases, one was on the floor, not a real issue, but not altogether convenient.
The staff I spoke to were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was very good, and the staff accommodating when some items were needing replenished.
walking through the dining area to get to and from the swimming pool seemed a little inconvenient, especially at breakfast time, otherwise it was fine.

It's less than a minute walk to the nearest tube. Surprisingly quiet for a main road. The staff were friendly and helpful. We had a top floor room with excellent views. The only downside was that there is very little storage space for your clothes. If I was to visit Paris again I would definitely stay here again.

Below standard expected for a 4-star hotel

Stayed for one night during a business trip in June. It was okay but I've stayed in 3-star and even some 2-star hotels that were better.

Good points:
- Staff efficient and spoke English.
- Room clean and air conditioning worked well.
- Wi-fi free, fast and allowed VPN connection.

Bad points:
- Sleep interrupted frequently by traffic noise at night.
- Desk small and no free power socket nearby.
- Elevator unreliable - had to use fire escape stairwell more often than not.

Came to hotel for extended stay specifically because website said it had laundry service and business center. It did not have laundry service. Business center was not working. Also, in the middle of a heat wave, the air conditioning didn't work. I felt sorry for the Excellent and highly professional staff because they had to deal with all rthe angry and miserable guests. I hope the staff can find work at hotels that are in better working condition.

we rented the converter from the hotel and deposited $50.00 cash that will be ok, but we want to return the converter before the night to get the cash back because our flight departure very early tomorrow morning we affraid will be late,so we return its before the night we leaves, but the staff said he doesn't have cash i have to wait until tomorrow morning, looked like we have no choice, so in morning we prepared check out early than 6:30am our shuttle bus will pick us up at 6:45am to the airport, but the staff said we have to wait for manager to get cash, we waitting until 7:10am to get cash back we was so angry, we almost late for our flight.

Staff were willing to help. Always only one receptionist, kept busy. Booking error at the hotel meant my last night was not reserved... luckily it worked out when they saw the mistake. Hotel near Metro - good connections. Good English speaking staff - we tried our French, but staff responded in amazing English. Mind blowing bakery next door... Pool was nice, clean and quiet. Room was cold...tried to adjust heating, also only one thin blanket. But I guess you could request more.
Avoid Canon Restaurant next to Plas D'Italia Metro. We found they load stuff on you table you didn't ask for.. e.g. more Expresso coffee and stuff. Then a big bill given. Most restaurants fine. Suburbs cheaper and tastier than the City Centre tourist fare.

Best thing about this hotel is its situation. Close to the metro, although in a suburb. Good cafe/pub next door. Adjacent street market twice a week. Interesting Chinese quarter nearby, The hotel has an attractive swimming pool, also a garden/terrace by the bar, which are a big plus in a city hotel. The reception staff deserve a mention for their polite, knowledgeable help. Only minus - breakfast staff need more supervision. Hot items, including coffee, were cold. Items like fruit and juice weren't brought out until requested. Crockery had to be requested. Shame as. everything else about this hotel is great. PS - love the fluffy robes and slippers and good selection. of toiletries in bedroom

There were several technical problems during my stay (the safe would not open, the tv did not work) but the staff was attentive and polite and did its best to fix problems. The location is good, and the rooms are convenient. The rooms facing the internal garden are very quiet (I was upgraded during my stay to a larger suite facing Av. d'Italie, which was very convenient but suffered from street noise at times). Overall, that's a hotel I would consider going back to.

Good value - not bad location

The hotel is located out of the Paris central area which can be a bind, however it is well serviced by the MRT - the station is very close. The staff are helpful - the manager went out of his way to help with any of our questions! Rooms are mid-sized, clean and well serviced. There are several restaurants/ bars close by which are friendly and reasonable. WiFi access OK - but need to be in the foyer area - not good in the rooms!.We would consider staying there again especially if we wanted to be out of the main tourist area!

horrible hotel

The first two days i changed my room three times. First room the traffic noise from outside could not let you sleep. they changed my room to another one where there was a blocked sewage system . the bathroom smelled so much that i could not even go in so they moved me again into the third dark discusting room again with broken deposit box and constant noise from the air condition or generator system.it was the worst hotel i have ever been in so i will never ever use Best Western Hotels again and if you ever hate somebody recommend them to stay at this hotel. The staff were a joke. no experienced at all. the rooms were so tiny and small which make you laugh .and this was suppose to be a prestige room. how could possibly people get away with cheating you like much. The parking is £20 extra per day. The pool is not heated pool and the water is so cold.

Good standard, not such a great location

This hotel is near the edge of tourist Paris but still in easy reach of the centre via the nearby metro. There are quite a lot of beggars around and you notice it's an area with heavy social housing. The hotel itself is of a high standard, clearly four star, though the breakfast wasn't great value for €15.

This hotel has a good swimming pool, which is ideal for a summer visit. The staff is diligent and friendly. The Tolbiac metro statio is right next, so it is very easy to get around. AlI for a very reasonable rate. I would return there. However, wifi at my room was somewhat weak.

Hotel conveniently located near a subway station, a 10 minutes ride to the heart of Paris. Hotel has all amenities you would expect for a 4 star hotel, but not up to the US standards, e.g rooms are rather small. We had some quality issues with the toilet seat (not properly attached) and with the room safe that the hotel had to replace (but not in time for us to use it). Security was a concern as the hotel staff - although very kind and helpful - doesn't seem to have the capacity to both serve the clientele and keep the reception desk attended.

Very nice hotel

I always enjoy this hotel. I love the magazines they offer to the guests. I also love the pool; it is not crowded and as I am a swimmer, I can do laps there. The staff is always friendly and nice.

It was right on the main street, so it was fairly loud at all times, but given the location, it was also close to a supermarket and major shopping area. The hotel staff were very nice and it was not difficult to find. The room was not bad, but I think could use an upgrade. The bed wasn't that comfortable and the internet was a little slow. The small fridge looked a little old. The shower/tub was fine, but it was a good thing we were only staying one night and checked out by 8:30a, the next day there was to be no hot water from 9-5pm.

Ecellent value for money

I have stayed at many Parisian hotels in this category, but this one stands out as extremely good value for money. it was friendly, quiet, close to the metro, and left a very good impression overall, with a swimming pool thrown in as a bonus !!

Great for kids

We stayed with our small children who slept on the floor. The location of this hotel is right next to Metro Tolbiac and the rooms are modern and very clean. The room is quite small but there was enough space on the floor for make-shift bed. There is a flat screen TV on the wall hanging too high so that the picture is not clear enough when sitting on the bed due to the angle. There is a bath in the room. Location is top notch with metro, shopping and restaurants all nearby. There is hotel parking next door but please check the size of your vehicle before entering the garage. The main plus is their swimming pool located in the basement - it is beatufiful with warm air and water temperatures and very relaxing lighting. Our kids just loved it. Recommend.

le petit déjeuner est copieux+++, salé, sucré, fruits frais, la piscine est parfaite, le quartier est agréable et sûr, le métro au pied de l'hôtel tout est parfait
