Perfect for a couple's getaway

Was looking for a nice hotel, well located and not too expansive and it was perfect.
AC was a must has we visited during the heatwave.

Room was small (it's Paris afterall!) but comfortable and was meeting our needs. Hotel and neighbourhood were very quiet.
Bathrooms were clean and service was excellent throughout our stay. Wifi was effective.

Greatly deserved by public transportation that allows quick access to the city's major attraction.

Many cafés nearby offers breakfast options. Shopping center across the corner also to fulfill any needs you may have.

Only issue was a small ants invasion of our trash can on the first day that was quickly dealt with. Did not see another for the ret of our stay.

Definitly recommend for a couple.

The location is excellent, close to the metro station and the mall and lots of places to eat. The room is decent and just perfect for a place to stay in. However the cleaning staff didn’t clean our room even if we placed the sign to clean. The weird thing is they always put the sign back inside the room but they never cleaned. I told the reception about this and they were told by housekeeping that they cleaned the room. So yeah dont trust housekeeping at this hotel.

We booked it for two nights, separated by a week. First time they gave us a very small room with hardly any space around the bed to move in the room & staff misinformed us that all rooms are of the same size.
When we stayed there after a week we made sure we get a decent sized room. Breakfast in not included with the booking that is big drawback.

Overall, I was pleased with this hotel. It was comfortable. Not a big fan of the open shower concept and not having iron/ironing board in the room but everything else was good. I had a Comfort Double room which was plenty space for me alone but I can see how that could become tight with additional guests in there. I loved that the hotel was close to a mall, pharmacy AND soooo close to a metro station (which made traveling to center city soooo easy).

The location of this BW was close to the metro to see sights, but the hotel staff that checked my family and me in and out were rude. When I checked in, the gentleman told me the child I had with me caused me to need another room (there were a total of 3 of us, room was booked for 2). He looked at the young girl and said 'that is no child'.. very rude. Got the same man upon check out. I ALWAYS use gift cards at BW because it is the hotel my credit card rewards chooses. He told me they don't take them. I explained I've used cards previously in Amsterdam and London, that he just needed to do the conversion from USD to EUR. He continued to say no until a man that seemed to be the manager showed him out to process them. At no point did the man apologize, but he took the time to talk about the 'American' to the French speaking couple checking out in line behind me.

I also received a second charge an hour later after checking out of my hotel that can't be explained. We did not open or consume anything from the mini fridge in the room or get any extras. Just over all bad experience with this one employee.

Great access to Gare du Nord, many restaurants nearby. Had to pay for breakfasts. First night the A/C didn’t work properly so we slept poorly. Tiny elevator. Breakfast was okay but far from the quality seen in comparable hotels. Difficult to find so we were helped by Parisians on the street.

Overall my stay was lovely. The hotel's located very close to the metro. My room was clean and modern. The hotel staff was nice and spoke English. There's also a shuttle to the airports, it's 28 Euros which is a lot, but less than my Uber initially.

Room was small but comfy. location is good, right near Place D'Italie Metro which has good direct links to tourist places. Main downfall for the hotel was the breakfast service. We were a group of 12 and there was just 1 person serving as who was obviously overwhelmed and stressed to serve us. The breakfast is not a proper buffet, not hot food! it is continental. They don't do Latte or Cappuccino. 12EUR not worth so get your breakfast elsewhere. Other than that it was pretty good to sleep and refresh - if you plan to stay in the room other than sleep you need to get out more!

Place d'Italie is not a particularly attractive area but it is perfectly safe and this hotel is well located just 100 metres from the Metro. It was spotlessly clean and the staff were very welcoming. The room I had wasn't very big but it was adequate and warm when temperatures were around freezing outside. My only gripe was that it could have done with some minor maintenance. E.g a loose tap in the bathroom and a faulty toilet seat. Having said that, I would be very happy to go there again as it was excellent value for money - I paid c£160 for a single room for three nights (no breakfast).

Awful Best Western Hotel PARIS, France

This hotel was awful. I complained twice about dirty towels, and old ragged towels, hair on pillows, hair on toilet seat, filthy shower floor, and dirty carpet, all a health hazard. In addition there was paper stuffed in the room fire alarm, this was totally unacceptable & a violation. My 2 complaints to the Front Desk staff were obviously disregarded, therefore I had to cut short my visit to Paris due to these problems & I cancelled the last 2 nights of my prepaid reservation & checked out this morning Monday, DEC 11, 2017 at 7 am. Your prompt processing of a refund to my account would be appreciated.

This hotel's front desk staff was hopeless. Needs to be THOROUGHLY retrained. WiFi was intermittent.

This hotel was beautiful and clean. It was very close to Metro Line 5, 6, and 7. and quick ride to Central Paris. Hotel is in the heart of Paris Chinatown and good food within a few steps.

Very disappointing. Toilet paper, shampoo, shower gel were never refilled; need to go down to reception to ask for supplies. Water kattle was dirty and broken, but no replacement. Coffee mugs were full of dried up coffee and never get washed. Terrible cleaning service. But reception stuff was friendly though.

The rooms are small but efficient, clean and pleasant. The staff was helpful with an early arrival. They offered to hold our bags but then a room came open anyway. They also gave directions to the airport via Metro. There's a charge for breakfast but coffee is free. The Metro is a block away and McDonalds is a half block. There are other restaurants all over. I couldn't find any English television. This is a simple hotel but perfectly acceptable.

Good place to stay and convenient to move around

We stayed there last week as first leg of our trip. The hotel is conveniently located with access from CDG. We took Air France bus and got down at Gare de Lyon. From there, we took a local bus till Italia place. Hotel is 3 minutes walking from there. Steve at reception was quite helpful. The room was not huge and we were prepared for that as Paris hotels located inside good areas have smaller rooms. Not enough space for luggage in room. It would be great if hotel can improve the quality of room utensils in line with BW brand. The electric kettle we had was leaking and wasn't in good shape. Good and clean bathrooms and towels. Would recommend for a stay

Hotels.com indicated this hotel had self-service laundry, but it didn't. One concierge was very unfriendly but one was nice.

The room had garbage in it when we checked in, and the shower wasn't particularly clean. But the bed was comfy. Be aware that the rooms are TINY- i have never seen a hotel room so small. It didn't much matter since we were sightseeing all day, but it made getting ready in the mornings somewhat challenging.

The shower had excellent water pressure, and the hair dryer worked quite well. The location was fantastic as there's a metro stop on the other side of Italie Deux mall. Lots of good, decently-priced restaurants in the area.

If you're looking for a nice modern room, very close to the metro, cafes and places to eat close by this is perfect. The shower is amazing! The rooms aren't the biggest but for a couple staying the weekend it is perfect. The only negatives are the walls were very thin so you could hear people talking now and again, it wasn't a major problem for me and also the bed wasn't the softest but like I said for 2 nights it's good.

Convenient location, very small triple room

I chose a triple room expecting to have more space, but it turned out the third bed was disguised as a sofa put in the same sized double room. Maximum 15 square meters. But the bathroom had a normal size. In the room there was an electric kettle (in comparison to the nearby Ibis which doesn't), but no coffee packs, only tea. However, the free wifi was quite ok, which is very uncommon in downtown Paris. Despite that, the neighborhood was very convenient and safe.

Beware random people in rooms?

When I first arrived they told me I was in room 405. I went to my room, opened the door, and found a semi-naked man working at the desk. I went downstairs and told the front desk; his response was \"are you sure?\". He then reluctantly gave me another room. When I asked if anyone would be in this room, his response was \"I really don't know\".

Aside from random people in the room, there was a cleanliness issue. There was hair all over the walls of the bathroom (not the shower, the actual bathroom walls).

They never replaced the (instant) coffee after day one.

The room is quite small but it's newly furnished. The hotel lobby is still under renovation and thats why we can hear the noise from our room starting at around 9am. Was quite surprise that the hotel require us to leave the room key at the reception when leaving the hotel for \"security reason\". I don't feel secure when they have the keys putting in an unlocked drawer at the reception. In addition, when we come back to the hotel at night, we just have to say our room number and the receptionist (not the same as the receptionist who checked us in) gave us our key right away without verifying our identity. I highly doubt their security measure.

I did not like this Best western. We traveled to 3 different cities that weekend and stayed in Best western in those locations so needless to say we were disappointed when our last destination landed us at this BW. We drove to Paris and there was no parking for us. The first attendant was friendly and switched our rooms so we would have another bed. The next attendant that night didn't seem to wanted to be bothered or answer any question we had about our location. The room was very small barely any room to walk around. Our bed took up almost all the space in our room. When we left to do sight seeing we were told we were supposed to surrender our key for safe keeping while we were gone and I refused. Breakfast was 15 euro each which they tried to charge me even though I never went to breakfast. The location is far from the sights....the hotel is located in china town not really for those wanting to really experience Paris. You will need to plan to take a taxi to the general sight seeing area.

Bien situé, accueil agreable, chambre pratique mais .... une propreté insatisfaisante. La base pour une chambre a pres de 150 euros est l hygiene. Un netttoyage des joints de la douche ( du mastic joint coute 5euros) et la VMC se nettoie, la vitre, le lavabo et le nettoyage c'est egalement les plinthes et les surfaces!.

The room can’t connect to wifi, ask the staff to resolve it, he just asked us to try again, but it can’t connected. l think it’s lack of the correct machine that can make wifi cover all rooms. Therefore, we lack of wifi all day and all night.
