Nice hotel; its location is great, calm yet lively area, being 3 builds away from the metro station makes it easy to move around with three metro lines available.

The washroom knob was unfixed and the exhaust fan wasn't strong enough. There was often a slight musty smell if we didn't air out the room.

Booked 3 rooms for family- only given 1 room on an early check in but never got the trsy of rhe room until 3pm as front desk said 3pm is chexk in. Worst is that we ate in the lobby watching most guests got checked in for the day before 3pm. Front desk was rude when asked why , kept saying wait 3pm. We have kids with us and just arrived from a 11-hour flight

No geral, gosto muito, sempre me hospedo neste hotel, mas desta vez, todos os dias a camareira vinha bater no quarto entre 9:00 e 9:30 (!) e no último dia, quando o check out é às 11:00, ela entrou (!) no quarto as 10:00 !!!
Além disso, faz parte da hospedagem, o fornecimento de sachês de chá e café solúvel, bem como açucar e creme, mas houve um dia em que nafz foo fornecido, nem copos…

Great stay. Comfortable rooms. We were traveling with the kids and were able to books adjoining rooms. Neighborhood has a few nice places to eat. Close to a Metro to get you anywhere you need to go.

Had a great stay in this very clean and friendly hotel! The staff was very nice and helpful. The hotel is located at the perfect location along the line 5, 6, 7! The only con is that the rooms are small but the bathrooms are a nice day.

We stayed in this hotel for one night. A Metro line 5 station is almost at the door step of the hotel. Very convenient. A number of restaurants are nearby including a McDonald and a KFC. Our room is newly renovated, very clean and nice. Washroom is also new. The only downside is the breakfast, which in my view, is below the par of a three star hotel.

The stay was fine, I had to change rooms because of a broken AC that could not be shut off and was making a lot of noise. The second room was also broken but did not turn on so i just opened the window instead of complaining again. It was not a very clean room either time with the carpet being quite dirty. As well as the bed not feeling very fresh and the towels and toilet seats having stains. Overall it was fine and it worked for my trip but I have stayed in much better quality for a much lower price in Paris.

Uncomfortable bed, appears to be a new mattress topper on an old mattress with huge dip in it so really uncomfortable, hip and back ache as a result.
Really poor 'tea tray\" one lemon tea, 2 decaffeinated coffee sachets, one sugar with 2 small cardboard cups and nothing to stir your drink with, it would be so much better to have a ceramic cup, some UHT milk or powerdered milk and a selection of tea and coffee and importantly a spoon !

Stayed 2 nights in Paris in September 2024. It was a nice and convenient place in the midst of the city. By mistake we got a crib for a baby, but the room had also a sleeping chair for older child, so we were good. The staff was nice and helpful, the room was clean and quiet. The place is conveniently located near subway station, McDonalds, KFC and a shopping mall. The breakfast was good, but it is not included in the price of the stay. We would definitely stay again in the future visit.

I tried to cancel my reservation six months in advance due to the illness of a parent. Thus, I was unable to make the trip to Paris. The manager was a total jerk and refused to refund my money. He is a heartless person who has no business being in the hospitality industry. This is a case of corporate greed.

I was in Paris for the Olympics and most of my tickets were for gymnastics, so I loved being so close to Bercy Arena. For the non-gymnastics events I went to, it was very convenient that the metro stop was a short walk away. My mom and I also appreciated that the staff helped us get a taxi to CDG when it was time for us to go home. Additionally, we enjoyed the selections for breakfast each morning.

We truly enjoyed our stay at Hotel Inn Design. The beds were so comfortable and breakfast was delicious. The hotel was very clean and the staff extremely helpful, friendly and enjoyable to be around. I would definitely recommend this place. We stay in a room with a balcony which was an added bonus. Thanks for taking such good care of us!

Very nice staff, we asked for some croissants to go the day of departure since we needed to leave the hotel 1 hour before the breakfast started, and they opened the whole breakfast area for us that early! I don’t usually leave reviews, but felt the need to share my personal experience with this specific hotel to help others. I am not a picky person and am OK roughing it a little but this hotel did not meet any of our standards.
Pros:
-close to Chinatown and many Asian restaurants that are all walking distance
-right next to the place d’italie metro station
-bed was comfortable
-affordable
Cons:
-booked 5 standard rooms that were all completely different sizes. The twin room was much bigger than the double room. I was only able to open my check-in size luggage in one small corner of our double room because it was incredibly small
-there is no refrigerator in the rooms (there is only one in the communal lobby you can use)
-our lock box, air conditioner, and room telephone did not work. We asked the staff to help fix them or switch our room but we came back to nothing changed and no communication
-the room is very old and had an extremely musty smell that only went away after we opened the window to air out for a day
-they do not give face towels, only have 1 bottle in the shower and sink for a multipurpose shampoo/soap/body wash
-our shower had pink mold stains in the grout upon check-in, on day 2 we asked them to clean our room, on day 4 we now had black mold on top of the pink mold in the shower
-no sink counter space at all in our double room. We had to put our toiletries on the ledge over the toilet on the other side of the room

Excelente atencion de parte de todos los recepcionistas. Muy amables y predispuestos. Si bien el hotel esta un poco alejado de la zona turistica, es rapido y facil viajar desde alli hacia el centro, esta muy bien conectado, con el transporte publico. Las habitaciones son sencillas , muy limpias, tiene todo lo necesario. El barrio es bastante tranquilo. El lugar es agradable. Muy buena relacion calidad-precio.

*The price (note: not the value, but the price, in comparison to other available hotels)
*The location (right by the Place d’italie, with 3 metro stations within walking distance, and a large Carrefour; it also felt safe).

The location is great, it is only 2 mins away from the metro station.
However, the hotel is not what I thought it would be. The room, executive double is extremely small. The bedsheets were dirty and we had to request some clean ones and even those ones were stained. On our first night there, towards the morning, we woke up terrified due to a fire alarm. We were on the 7th floor and it took us some time to make it downstairs, however even when we did go there, no one was able to tell us what caused the alarm to go off. No communication or just a courtesy message to put us all at ease.
I am happy that we didn’t need to put the AC on, as that would have blown a lot of dirt and dust.
For a hotel so big, there is only one lift, and in the morning it stopped at every single floor before it even reached the last floor (7th).
However, the hotel is not what I thought it would be. The room, executive double is extremely small. The bedsheets were dirty and we had to request some clean ones and even those ones were stained. On our first night there, towards the morning, we woke up terrified due to a fire alarm. We were on the 7th floor and it took us some time to make it downstairs, however even when we did go there, no one was able to tell us what caused the alarm to go off. No communication or just a courtesy message to put us all at ease.
I am happy that we didn’t need to put the AC on, as that would have blown a lot of dirt and dust.
For a hotel so big, there is only one lift, and in the morning it stopped at every single floor before it even reached the last floor (7th).

Great location, terrible service
Despite the great location close to metro, I would never stay here again. When I check in I was booked into a 1st floor room right by the elevator, which makes loud announcements at each floor. There was a roof outside my window covered in cigarette butts. It felt very unsafe to know that people loitered right outside my window, so I asked for a new room. I was happy to get one the next day, but my happiness was short-lived. There was a heatwave going through Paris during my stay and the AC in the new room didn’t work. Apparently, this was a known, widespread problem affecting many rooms and wasn’t going to get fixed until the following week, but it took multiple interactions with the front desk staff to get the full story. The road noise was so loud that keeping the window open wasn’t an option, and there was no fridge in the room so you couldn’t even cool off with a cold drink. I did finally manage to get a large fan, which I had to lug up to my room myself. The beds were very uncomfortable. The mattress was so old and worn out that there was a visible concave dip in the center and you were lying directly on the wooden slats below. The worst part, however, was the front desk staff. Although some of them were ok, one woman clearly disliked customers and made into attempt to hide the fact that every time you talked to her you were a huge burden and a terrible inconvenience and you should really just go away and stop bothering her.
