Horrible customer service. We arrived after check in time and someone was still cleaning our room. The room smelled like sewer. The a/c was not cooling. The room was sprayed after we said something and they adjusted the air. I requested a new room. We were promised a new room for the next day. Nothing happened. We had prearranged tours so we were on a tight schedule. The hotel staff never contacted us to see if we were comfortable. We stayed three nights and we did not receive a cleaning service even after requesting it twice. Somehow we survived.

I picked this hotel mainly because of its location and the photos looked nice, even for a single room. However, things took a turn for the worse when I asked to add breakfast to my booking. They told me the restaurant was under renovation, which wasn’t mentioned on the booking site. I wasn’t too bothered at first, but then check-in was a hassle. The staff member was rude and didn’t offer early check-in, so I had to leave my luggage and return later. The price I paid was way too high for the room I got, which had a tiny bathroom that was hard to fit into, and the toilet didn’t even have a door. The sink was also way too small for a hotel. Before I checked out, I asked if I could leave my luggage, and they said yes, but on the day I was leaving, the receptionist didn’t know about it because the storage was messed up by maintenance. There was a clear lack of communication! I also noticed that a French-speaking guest was treated much better than I was, even though I’m from the UK and only speak English. I didn’t even get an invoice for my stay; they just charged me when I arrived without any proof. It’s disappointing that in such a beautiful city like Paris, they treated foreigners rudely and with bias. I definitely won’t be coming back; this hotel doesn’t even deserve 2 stars.

This hotel was great for our family stay of a few days in Paris. It isn't near the tourist areas, but the metro was close by and we enjoyed staying in a quiet part of the city. The property is well maintained, clean, the staff were kind and helpful, and the paid breakfast was delicious.

We specifically booked this room for the AC but when we got there the AC wasn't working. It looked like it was already a problem for a while since there was two fans conveniently in the room and we wished they would have given us a heads up. Additionally, the cups in the room seemed like it wasn't fully cleaned and the wifi was very poor.

All was just great except the room temperature. All 3 of us had a try to adjust the temp to a comfortable sleeping temperature but we were unsuccessful at lowering it from 26.5 degrees celcius. As a result, we had to try to sleep with the window open. Paris was alive that night!

I arrived at the hotel and asked to get a room with air conditioning with the agent said it works. The elevator was only working from the other end of the second floor wich made my stay really uncomfortable. I was barely able to go to sleep in such heat. If the the hotel doesn't have AC they can say it up front so ppl can make other arrangements.

Nice hotel with some exceptions

This hotel is really nice, especially for the price. The location is a little out of the way, but there’s great access to the train. Don’t expect any views from your window. My main problem was the service was uneven. I asked for coffee in my room repeatedly and never got it except once. This forced me to pay the astounding 12 euros (more expensive than a breakfast out ) for a very mediocre continental breakfast. On one of those days when I had no option but to have the hotel breakfast, I came down an hour (AN HOUR!) before the breakfast was over and they were out of eggs, fruit and bread and quickly ran out of coffee. I was simply told those things were gone and no more was brought out. This is completely unacceptable considering the cost. Even if that weren’t the case 12 euros is way too much to charge.

Had a great time! Great Free Breakfast and nice staff. The location is a little off the beaten path but taking the Metro 15-20 minutes to all big tourist destinations works fine. The room was small but worked fine. Nice to have AC and a safe. Hotel seemed very newly remodeled and fresh!

Good hotel but with problems

The hotel has good decor and generally very good looking with all your needs but there are some problems we encountered. The sewage smell would enter the room when using the bathroom ventilation fan which turns on automatically when using the light switch, not nice at all.

The service wasn't great, we were never told anything about the hotel, the area, local amenities etc. There was a guest info book in the hotel room though.

The area isn't great for family, lots of drunks nearby, with terrible takeaway food outlets which you should avoid at all costs. Not family friendly at all.

The first night we arrived, I witnessed a homeless man urinating in broad daylight just yards from the hotel entrance. He wasn’t even making a minimal effort to conceal himself. An hour later I was using a laundrymat about 400 feet from the hotel, when I witnessed an angry drunk throwing a full beer can at a guy. This left me with an unfavorable first-impression of the neighborhood (which would soon change somewhat). There were a fair number of homeless and immigrants, and I have to be completely honest, I wasn’t sure how safe the neighborhood was (for context, I spent a lot of time in seedy neighborhoods like Boston’s Combat Zone, and have traveled to France previously, as well as Honduras and some third-world nations... so I’m typically fairly hung-ho.)

THAT SAID, I honestly think that the first impression was unfair. I ultimately spent a week there and had no further issues. As I got to know the neighgood and the people, I had some very good interactions with them which changed my perspective entirely. I think I just had bad luck that first night.

As for the hotel, it was excellent. It had air conditioning and a mini-bar, and was very clean and spacious. Staff was pretty friendly and helpful, even to an American with virtually no French vocabulary beyond thank you and hello.

The neighborhood had a few restaurants, markets, pharmacy, and laundry options nearby.

Four-day staying, no AC whatsoever. We paid for the price to wish for a more comfortable lodging, yet, we had to endure through 4 days of staying; sleeping sweating at night, and kept on doing cold shower during the day. the Staff said: You can cancel because you didn't book the room with us, so please contact your booking agent\",,,\" you can go, but we no refund no money to you\".
ha,,,they don't even have an ice maker,,,stingy hotel, doesn't deserve a name of 3-star hotel. We were hoping a nice comfortable 4-day trip, but it turned out we felt like being defrauded.
I demand a refund!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The hotel is really nice, the room is spacious and comfortable, the area is not so nice for public transportation is a 12-15 min walk to the subway in a sometimes sketchy part of town. The breakfast was nice. We arrived early and wanted to rest and the check in wasn't until 3 so we had to pay like 47 euros to check in early (not that cool in my book).

Overall the hotel is great for a 3 star rated hotel. I experienced a few issues with the room and cleanliness, but the hotel staff did as much as they could to rectify the issues. I like the location, as it is close to China town and Place D'Italie. Downtown Paris is a 15 minute walk and subway ride.

Nearly ideal location, good value

3 minutes from Olympiades Metro stop (route 14), with several restaurants nearby and many more at Cour St. Emilion which is two Metro stops away. Staff was good, room was fine, with modern amenities and standard but good breakfast. The wi-fi was down for 2 days, which did cause some problems but is presumably an isolated case. I will stay there again, as I frequently visit the University of Paris, Diderot, which is a 15 minute walk away from the hotel.

Fantastic hotel for the price

Lovely hotel a few minutes walk from Olympiades metro station. Close to lots of lovely bakeries and also Chinatown. The room had everything you needed including tea and coffee facilities and the bathroom was spotless with a great shower. Was very pleasantly surprised with the standard of the hotel for the price we paid. Would definitely stay at Hotel Le Richemont again and would recommend it to anyone visiting Paris.

4 days in Paris. This hotel was conveniently located near 2 different train stations. A great bakery and bar / cafe down the street, and a 10 minute walk from a market. Hotel staff was multilingual, friendly, and helpful. Room size was fine. Not big but not small. Limited television selection, but who watches TV when vacationing in Paris? Will definitely be staying at this hotel again if I come back!

The room had everything we needed. The Bed was very nice and comfortable. The only down fall was when we would get back to room at night the room was very stuffy. I don't think they had Air conditioning in the rooms so you had to open the window before bed. The Free continental breakfast was great one of the best I have had. The area around the hotel was nice and quiet didn't hear much noise slept well every night. Once again the bed was very nice to sleep on. The location worked for us, we didn't mind having to jump on a train or two to get somewhere. Overall this was priced great and the breakfast was good and the rooms were very modern and clean. I would stay here again no problem.

This is a rather older hotel with very nice French characteristics. The owners were helpful and friendly which was very nice, for travel weary visitors. The rooms were spacious, clean, with comfortable bed. The bathroom was newly refurbished and we liked the electric towel warmer. Very good breakfast in a nicely decorated breakfast room. Their home made jams were delicious and they were served with the cutest individual spoons! We will stay there again when we visit the area again.

The hotel is nice an efficient. Room was rather small but this is Paris. Bath room was very nice. It is not in a nice part of Paris but location was perfect for my meeting that was in the area. Price is good. Breakfast is adequate. The one problem was the noise at night. My room was 101 which is above the entrance and you can hear the automatic doors open and close all night. Also, the linen washing is done downstairs and would create plumbing noises going up. I had some earplugs luckily. I would avoid rooms 100, 101 and 102 (and probably the 200 series also).

Not much to look at externally but very pleasant experience. Ticks all the main boxes for me:
Location good and nearby to metro, very clean rooms, hd tv and free wireless internet, breakfast included but don't expect salmon or fry up, friendly staff who even printed our boarding passes. Can get good discount on standard tariff via online travel operators. Would recommend you bring your own travel kettle as most european hotels do not provide in room tea making facilities.

Perfect for a stay in Paris

We enjoyed a very pleasant stay at this hotel. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and up to date. The breakfast was delicious and had a variety of foods to choose from. The best part about this hotel was the location. It was about a two minute walk from the metro station which was convenient and made it easy for us to travel throughout the city. I would definitely go back to the Residence Richemont if I were to visit Paris again.

Very hot week in Paris, and no air conditioning in room. The front desk clerk did try to adjust the control, but later stated that the hotel was having problems. She did move us to a larger room that had 2 windows, so we were able to open both of them to get some air moving in the room. The hotel did not give us a break on the room cost when we asked.

We chose this hotel because it was next to relatives in Paris. It is not located in the center, but the neighborhood is nice and the Metro is just a few minutes walking. The staff is very friendly, but everything is a bit old. The bathroom is old and not very well maintained, the carpets are old, the blankets (wool) - old, and the air condition is noisy. Breakfast is continental and ok. The rooms are clean. Over all it is nice, but too expensive for a fossil hotel at that location.

Amazing!

For Paris it's is the best hotel I have stayed in. The rooms are, for Paris' proportions, rather big. The continental breakfast is also a big plus. It is close to the RER C, and to the metro lines 14 and 7. I would definitely stay here again!

- The B/F was quite good although we went late and most of the stuff was getting over
- One issue - we asked for a double bed but got two single joined together.

This is a very basic hotel in a very basic part of town. Having stayed in many hotels in France, I would rate this very low. The price was too high for what we got (small room, no air conditioning, the worst breakfast experience in France) but for us it was a one night; booked because it was available at a very busy time in Paris. No air conditioning, window looked out on the roof at the broken air conditioner unit... impossible to leave windows open due to security concerns. Staff were fine. Did not speak English, but were helpful. Don't try to find a restraunt near this hotel. There were two good ones around, but they were both closed... very hard to find decent food. Yes. This was Paris. But the part without food... rate 3 out of 10.

Otelin sadece konumu bizim için iyiydi. Otel renovasyona girmiş, inşaat çalışmaları var ve sadece konaklamamızdan 2 gün önce mail atarak haber verdiler, yani iptal edebilme süremiz bittikten sonra.
Odalar baştan dekore edilmeli, halılar eski ve kirli duruyor, iki kişi konaklıyoruz ama bir yüz havlusu odaya bırakıyorlar. Odalarda havlu terlik de yok. Duşakabini çektiğinizde yerinden çıkıp elinizde kalıyor. Pencere doğramaları alüminyum, sokaktaki tüm sesleri içeri alıyor. İnşaat sebebiyle asansörler faal değil. Resepsiyonda görevli güler yüzlü bayan personel dışında iyi bir şey yok diyebilirim.

lindo, pero al estar en remodelación no fue tan agradable, ya que el acceso era una parte por escalera y otra ascensor, cuando llegamos no había ni baño en la recepción y venimos de un viaje largo. De todas maneras nos atendieron cordialmente y la habitación estaba ordenada y limpia.
La ubicación no es céntrica, pero si con servicio de transporte super cerca

J’ai réservé par erreur une chambre pour une personne et c’était le pire hôtel que je n’ai jamais eu à Paris pour un tarif totalement excessif. La propreté, l’état de la chambre, le bruit …. Rien n’allait. Le dessus des plinthes, le parquet de la salle de bain dans un état lamentable, un lave main en guise de lavabo, le lit collé sous un rideau pas propre (super pour dormir !) et j’ai été réveillée plusieurs fois dans la nuit par le bruit.

Petit hôtel bien sympathique qui fait bien le job
Un petit bémol la demande de caution de 100 e qui sur le site de réservation bookink.com n été pas mentionné
Le receptioniste a ete super de nous accepter car je n avais pas de carte bancaire que du liquide
Nous avons manger au restaurant le kararo au top super bon si les iles vous plaisent n hésitez absolument pas
