Good location but needs a thorough clean

The location is good if this the neighbourhood you want to stay in. Close to shops and various restaurants. The lobby is clean and check in process simple.

The rooms themselves lack upkeep. There are broken and chipped tiles, black mold on the the tile grout and lots of areas that could use a thorough clean and update. There is a faint musty/smoke smell from the whole unit, likely from the curtains and walls. The small kitchen area has an odd drop ceiling that is covered in ceiling foam squares that you normally associate with older/dated office buildings. The AC worked well.

The service afforded by the local staff was above expectations really excellent. Overall, the stay was really good value and I can honestly recommend this to anyone staying in Paris for a week or more especially if they have children.
I stayed for 12 nights with my teenage daughter and we were very satisfied by hotel facilities, proximity to transport and local stores and restaurants, and the neighborhood. The kitchen area made it very convenient for cutting expenses on breakfast and evening meals, as well as the fridge for drinks ice cream... The rooms have a balcony which is of particular interest if you smoke. Water and coffee provided free, rooms cleaned daily, and a launderette is available if needed. Wifi worked perfectly. Rooms quiet you cant hear anything from neighboring rooms. Large bathroom with bath and shower...
The staff were excellent and offered a first class service throughout they could not do enough for us. I was surprised to receive more than I expected, I can highly recommend.

This was a modern apartment/hotel in an area that was newly developed. There was a metro station nearby with a short journey to the centre of Paris and frequent trains. The area felt very safe, modern and clean. There was a supermarket near the metro. The room was very good. There was a little stove, fridge and dishwasher which was adequate for us to prepare a light breakfast and supper. It was nice to have a small balcony. The bathroom was clean and the shower good although the shower hose holder had been fixed when really it needed replacing. Bed and bedding were clean and comfortable. There was a fermostat in the room but it didn't seem to make any difference to the temperature. We were a little cold the first night but after that the weather got warmer and we were fine. I personally would liked better fitting blackout curtains so light doesn't get in at the sides. I find I sleep much better in rooms that have this. Overall, we enjoyed our stay very much and we would definitely consider staying again in future.

Nice and clean, our two-level room was perfect for staying with children. The receptionists were welcoming and helpful, and the staff was friendly. The breakfasts were generous and delicious.

We arrived around 2 pm and opted for an early check-in for €20, subject to room availability. Parking in the basement was convenient at €20. The location made it easy to reach tourist destinations.

While the hotel isn't brand new, it is reasonably well maintained.

This hotel certainly doesn’t live up to its 4*

Our whole stay was stessful. The photos on the hotels.com website did not reflect the room we got. The air con didn’t work. We changed rooms 3 times. One air con unit flooded near an electricity fuse box unit. Another air con unit was repeatedly noisy. Our sink blocked. The curtains didn’t stretch across the window. We checked out early. Most of the staff were very helpful however and absolutely did their best to help us. And they refunded our final night.

Pretty nice place

The staff was excellent. Spoke English very well and were patient with my very novice French. Very helpful, very nice.

The room was very comfortable and the hotel coffee was good.

There had clearly been some work done on the room and it there were, for example a couple obvious patch spots on the wall. There was a card slot inside the door which seemed like it was supposed to control the lights, but did nothing. Not major issues, just a little silly.

Overall, I liked the place and would tell others it is a welcoming and warm environment.

This location needs better planning on their part. This place is a dump! The pictures are very deceiving! It smells so bad, carpet was so filthy, and upon walking into one of our rooms there were a bunch of towels on the floor because there was a water leak coming from the ceiling. We had to go back down to change rooms. The gentleman at the front desk gave us a new room and was very nice about it. When we checked the new room, the connecting door opened, and we scared the guests in there, we had no idea it would open. We had to go back down to let the gentleman know we needed our connecting door locked! He came up and was able to get it locked.
In room number two, the sink in the bathroom would not drain, so we used the tub to wash up. It was one thing after another!
The front desk staff was friendly!!

I stayed over the Christmas holiday. The area was quiet -- as was the rest of Paris. This was a perfect hotel for me. Very small and room, but good with a small kitchenette so that I could make breakfast and dinner. Located close to transport and groceries. It is a bit of a \"secret\" location -- limited tourists, only local business travelers, and good access to transport at a reasonable price. The value for money was tremendous.

They also take dogs -- which makes this chain perfect for me!

Good stay in Parisand good value for the money. Not really a kitchenette though. It just had a fridge, kettle toaster coffee maker and microwave. So you could heat food up but not cook. We made it work though, Monoprix nearby had good selections. Great location, good transit. Would stay here again.

Good place to stay in Paris

Love its location. Bibliothèque François Mitterrand RER C and metro stations are just minutes away. The neighbourhood is safe with lots of big supermarket, good bakery and a giant cinema. There’s a kitchenette in the room where you can make breakfast or simply meals. Always like to stay there whenever I was in Paris.

A stay of 5 days in Paris

The hotel was well located about 5 minutes' walk from Francois Mitterand Metro Station and the Monoprix Supermarket.
The clean room, 20 sqm., Kitchenette with microwave, electric hob, toaster, electric coffee mug, cooking utensils and dishes and detergent. The staff at the reception was kind, gave us all the information and a map of Paris . Own parking is 20 Euro / night very expensive.

Beyond Stressful

Sadly, will not stay there again. Room was accessed by someone after door being locked and personal items were stolen. Extremely stressful.. Have stayed there multiple times in the past.and no problems but this was just bad all around. Cut trip short. Could not stay there after this as I felt totally unsafe. Returned to US early and trip was ruined. You expect something may happen on the streets. You do not expect to have some one take your personal belongings from your locked hotel room when you're out for 1 hour.

Great for 3 adults

Our room was perfect for 3 adults, and we would stay there again. We had two floors connected by a spiral staircase, two bathrooms and two balconies! There were, however a couple of problems. The AC didn't work and the dishwasher was broken. I don't mind doing dishes, but the way we found out was to some home to a dishwasher full of dirty dishes.

Ok hotel in a convenient area

The best part about this hotel was that it was close to a bunch of diners, it was close to a familiar chain restaurant, and it was only four blocks from a metro station. Other than that I was not overly impressed. There were no blackout drapes in the room which wouldn't have been an issue except that right next door was a popular bar and an office building, so light was an issue since my companion and I were up early to play tourist. Also, the room temperature was nearly impossible to control. My companion and I barely slept because we were so hot at night.

It's not my first stay there (a long time ago when opening), it's decently clean, away from most of Paris life (but very convenient for me because very close from my meeting areas), breakfast is good and the staff there very nice. But... I didn't feel comfortable. Perhaps ambiance, low light in lobby or the fact that everything is options (breakfast, housekeeping,...) and sometime strange people hanging around. Though... I didn't feel unsafe, the value is good and because of its location, I will probably go back. My tip to management : a bit higher price and \"all inclusive\", well, at least housekeeping. For travelers : cross the river Seine and turn right. Less than 10 minutes walk along the river, you'll find Bercy Village, a very nice historical place converted in boutiques and nice restaurants. Easy to find as located at CineCite movie theater visible from far away.

Basic hotel close to transportation

This is an \"all suite\" hotel in the 16th arrondissement and is in a newer area of apartment buildings and offices. The location, which lacks \"charm and character\", is however very handy to metro and RER lines, grocery store and bars and restaurants and felt quite safe to us. Our studio faced a busy road which was noisy, but the patio doors provided good sound insulation. The studio was very small, basically room for the bed and closet, but had a bar fridge, kettle, Nespresso, microwave and utensils for 2. The bathroom was also very small and had a cruise ship sized shower. The maintenance was somewhat lacking - drywall compound over some damage without being finished, and the fixtures were very basic. However, the room and hotel were very clean, and the staff friendly. The bed was a good size and very comfortable. Overall it was a good economical choice if you don't mind being away from the main tourist spots, need a place to sleep and fix a quick bite to eat.

I got there around 4 PM, the room was not ready so I had to do the check-in at 5 PM. On the site, the check-in hour is 3 PM. The room was dirty and smelled like cigarettes. I had to change the room. The new room was better but there was a problem with the cleaning.
Overall I am very disappointed.

Basic - functional for business

If I had chosen this place for a vacation I would have been annoyed.

The one of the cupboard doors for the wardrobe was missing, the remaining one was looking a bit sad. The sink in the \"kitchen\" was clogged - even after they apparently unclogged it. There were insufficient towels in the room for two and we had to ask for another bowl and cup as there was only one of each in the room. If you are use to your room being cleaned each day, you'll be disappointed the towels were changed and the bins emptied but aside from that I noticed no change from day to day.

All that said it was quite, the bed was comfortable enough and there were sufficient plugs and a desk for me to work at. From that perspective it served it's purpose for my trip and or the price and location for my meetings was ideal. There are a number or restaurants in the area too so lots of choice. Which is just as well because the kitchen is frankly ill equipped for any real cooking but sufficient for storing breakfast and ready meals that can be bought at the supermarket near by and warmed up in the microwave.

I would think of it as a Travelodge with a kitchenette.

Hotel was late on check-in though we had confirmed earlier on the day of arrival that it was at 3 pm. The staff at the desk was quite expeditive, did not mention the hotel was sorry for the issue and explained it was normal because they were fully booked the night before (!?). A woman had been waiting for an hour and a half (we only waited 10 minutes but arrived an hour after check in time). Room was worn and small. Barely no utensils to eat or cook though it's an apartment hotel. The bathroom was OK. Location is remote from main sites, but near public transportation. I cannot recommend for the price.

Friendly and helpful staff. We had (I presume) a basic room which is fine for short stays, not big but functional with self catering gear (we didn't use) and good soundproofing. The British TV stations didn't work but we were so tired it didn't matter and we didn't report it. There are a few restaurants and bars nearby, nothing exciting. We came to see a show at the Accor Arena which is in walking distance.

Double bed when we booked two single beds. Extra charge if you don't clean up the kitchen. I asked for a new sheet at night, they got locked the laundry room. Extra charge at the check out (13€), which I wasn't informed previously. The only good things, quite silent room ans not far to the tube.

Hotel exactly as hoped for and as advertised!

Thanks for 8 nights in the Studio Room: comfy, cozy, proper room in an upbeat, safe neighborhood. Delicious full breakfast buffet! Cordial, attentive staff. Steps to train/metro and abutting eateries and shopping. Bedding was perfect. We would definitely recommend this property for affordability without sacrificing any necessities. If you are looking to be overly pampered, book and pay for a hotel with 5 stars. For European standards, Appart'City Confort is deserving of the 3.5 to 4 stars.

The hotel is basic: clean, fairly quiet. It is near university Dedirot in the outskirts of central Paris. A metro ride or two is necessary to get to most sites but a station is close at hand. The tram that encircled most of Paris is also nearby

The hotel is nicely located near the France National Library, with new buildings and commercial area, easy access to Tram T3 and Metro line 14. There are several nice bars/restaurants right by the hotel, they offer nice cocktails during happy hour. Although the room is small, but with everything you need, including electric stove, dishes, plates, dishwasher, fridge, TV, and a small terrace.
Overall I liked the place, recommended for budget travelers.

The metro station is a two minute walk from the hotel and provides easy access to the whole of Paris. Also really lovely cafes and bars in the area. One member of staff in particular was incredibly helpful when we needed access to a computer. I would recommend to a friend.

Hotel is tired and scruffy. Our room had numerous defects....extractors for both the kitchen and bathroom were broken; kitchen light did not work; rollerblind was torn and broken; door missing from wardrobe and land-line didn't work. These were all reported to reception but nothing happened. We arrived back from dinner very late on our final night only to be told the internet was off until the next day....apparently, this was planned and not a breakdown.....consequently, we not able to confirm the booking of our next hotel and lost the reservation. The morning we checked out there was a power failure in the hotel; the corridors were pitch black with no emergency lighting....really! I heard from some guests on the upper floors that they had no water. Tried several times to speak to the manager but with no luck. The hotel should be awarded no more than two stars.

You Get What You Pay For

First of all, the price of those hotel was great, and I shouldn't have expected too much for $55/night. The area is pretty decent, there is a train stop right across the street and a metro stop a few blocks away. There are several bars with happy hours nearby and plenty of good coffee and food nearby. To get to any of the popular locations in Paris you will have to take the metro, a cab, or walk a ton. This was all pretty good, but the hotel itself lacked. The rooms were tiny with no closet space. For two people you get two twin beds that have been pushed together. If you want your room cleaned, new towels, or anything else that is standard at most hotels, you have to pay extra. It was almost 8 euros to have the room turned down. I tried to check our early so I could spend a weekend in a different part of the city but the hotel refused my request. Luckily I didn't spend a ton of time at the hotel, so it was a cheap option for a bed and a place to leave your stuff.

great breakfast round the corner - really helpful and friendly staff.
only downsides- way too hot in room even with balcony door open throughout the night and no blankets (aircon didn't seem to work) also the TV didn't have sound a lot of the time and although we requested a non-smoking apartment, the bathroom had a very strong smell of smoke. one of the ceiling panels was coming down over the kitchen area and they provide a tea/coffee machine but no coffee or tea for it!
all of that aside, the location, the staff and the price were great. I would stay there again and would recommend it!

The staff was shamefully incompetent, even using Parisian standards, the room was not what was promised from this site (hotels.com), the service was egregious, the cleanliness was seriously lacking, the view was non-existent, and the utilities were as lazy as the service. Paris is a beautiful city, but I advise all tourists, American and otherwise, to avoid the Park and Suites at all costs. NOTHING looked at all like the pictures on the site - Be Warned! The prices are not reasonable, the rooms are not spacious, it is not convenient to ANY of the delicious foods/bakeries/restaurants for which Paris is known, and the staff - both the front desk and the in-room - is a sin against the word hospitality. Overall, the week-long experience that my partner and I endured at this unpleasant and cheaply furnished hole was one that we would not wish on anyone. It is an embarrassment to the beauty of France and the glory of Paris.

Disappointing! Certainly not 4 stars.

Common areas utilitarian. Decor tired and worn. Light bulbs out or missing. Upholstery stained and ripped. Refrigerator full of water from defrosted fridge. We were handed a towel at reception and told to mop it up. Access to stairs blocked by oversized sofa bed. No table to eat at. Missing cutlery (no spoons), cracked glasses. Bedroom down treacherous set of slippery cement stairs. TV wouldn't turn off (continual annoying glow and humming); had to switch off at fuse box. Missing remote. Shower door missing and broken; water went all over bathroom.

Okay hotel

I arrived to Paris early but could not check in until three, that was not helpful after a flight overseas. After I checked in to my room instantly I saw a leak in the entrance to my room. Someone in the staff knew because a bucket was placed there. I ignored it because it was nothing major for me. However after a few nights it became quite persistent I had used all my towels to soak up the extra water that splashed over night - more when someone in the room above showered. I told on member of staff why I needed more towels and he decided to come and look. He was surprised that there was a bucket there already, it was obvious someone knew before he did. More obvious was that they do not communicate very well. Unfortunately the entire hotel was booked and they could not switch my room for a couple nights. Understandable, but why give out the room in the first place with a major pipes problem. The T.V. never worked in any room that I had. When in Paris that is the least of worries, just would have been nice to relax to random tv viewing at night. Overall the experience did not ruin my time here but I shouldn't have had to deal with this at all. The staff responded as best they could with what resources they had and that I think they did very well. Their limitations I believe came more from other guest that where quite demanding. The hotel can be an great one, but it has ways to go. The terraces in all rooms are a plus. Some nights where warm but..................

It is a good hotel close to the Metro and some nice restaurants are close by. Overall happy with this hotel. Only one negative comment: When I checked out and left my lugguage in reception area (had late flight) they actually charge you Euro 2 per suitcase to keep it locked away! That was a first for me. Other than this everything else was in order

Great deal.

Near the metro and train stations. Ideal for train ride to CDG airport with only 1 transfer. It is in a safe neighborhood. Although there is construction across the road, the windows are well insulated. Only issue was the air conditioning which did not work for 1 night. Modern furnishings. This is my second time staying here.

Phone was not working, Same for the TV. When mentioned in reception they told they were having problems and nothing could be done...they certainly do not mention that in their website.
It was 3pm and the room was still my cleaned.

Reasonable hotel, you get what you pay for :)

The hotel is close to the Metro station and all rooms have a balcony! Staff are very, very helpful and attentive when required. The place does not have a bar, nor a restaurant, just a room for breakfast but there are food and drink places just next door! The hotel ran out of Nespresso caps at 1 Euro, but the local shop had a pack of 10 for a 3 Euros. A few tips; the aircon is great, but it doesn't work when the balcony door is open.'B' (I.E 421B) rooms do NOT have a stove or oven, only a microwave, toaster and kettle. Rooms that are not 'B', DO have an oven and stove but do NOT have a kettle or toaster... confusing I know. But the staff would usually help you out by giving you what you need. Night pizza delivery (23:00-04:00) is available in reception too. Plates in room are small but at least provided. Standard rooms are all one one level and is a normal and medium sized hotel room. The kitchenette is in a very tight corner but is perfectly acceptable. But it's certainly not an area on it's own. The bathroom is good, a few cosmetics like the lamp cover being broken off, but otherwise OK. Generally the room is OK, but we changed rooms as we were facing the railway repairs that go on throughout the night (not too loud, windows are almost soundproof) and the large lamp which really lights the room, was not working. Clean on arrival.

Clean hotel with good public transport access

The hotel is in a safe, modern and relatively new neighbourhood. The best thing about the hotel is that it is very close to a Metro and RER station. So you can take the Metro to all the sights around Paris or a direct RER train connection to Versailles. This makes the hotel very convenient for a short sightseeing trip to Paris.

Overall, poor customer service and treatment. I already experienced better service at lower rated hotels in Paris. Upon arrival the receptionist was confused about our reservation and how many rooms we booked. Also we had to pay a city tax and for Wifi access (even their website states it is free). This hotel basically charges for every little bit extra. On our first and last day, we wanted to leave our luggage at the reception before our check-in/ after our check-out so we didn't have to carry it with us during sightseeing. They charged us for every piece of luggage seperately. Also the rooms didn't have the same amenities. My friend had a Nespresso coffee maker in her room, which was missing in my room. The door of the closet was broken and just hanging there instead of being fixed. From a hotel in this category, I expect more attention to detail and a better customer treatment.

Nice hote close tot RER and metro

Hotel near periferique in Paris, close to metro and RER. Dissappointing was that the airco did not work. When we returned the next day after a day sightseeing we were told that it could not be fixed, and it was a known problem in several suites. They could only offer us a smaller room, which we accepted. Both rooms were comfortable, but equipped of 1 person, so we had to go back to reception to ask for extra towels. Overall we had a pleasant stay, but hotel, service and rooms are not 4-star, but more a 3-star.

opposite a large noisy building site. Air conditioning didn't work in very hot conditions. Hotel full so no chance of moving to another room for cooler conditions. Room small and poky although provided with all necessary instruments, fridge, microwave. wi fi although I had to go to the desk to find out how to connect to web. Most staff had poor English not all.

Convenient Locatoin

We chose this hotel after our apartment rental was cancelled. To our surprise, this hotel was larger than expected. It was one of our most favorite stays.

Pros:
-Room size and interior design
-Balcony (didn't use but a nice touch)
-Firm bed
-Kitchenette
-Hotel Staff
-Towel warmer
-Wifi is stable
-Location (close to metro and even closer to the RER C line station). Many nearby restaurants and stores. The train ride is not far from the main attractions.
-Near the highway for those needing a taxi to CDG. TIP: call a day in advance to save a bit on the fare.

Cons:
-Kitchen utensils not extensive. Adequate for a simple breakfast.
-Early check-in fee
-Optional cleaning fee
-Overnight construction sounds past 12 am on weekdays (rooms were quite well soundproofed however so it was a minor issue)

Overall, it's a great hotel for its value--it is only a few more euros than some budget hotels, at least in our case.

this was a modern hotel in a poor location It was far from all the museums and sights. To do anything you had to get on the Metro. Across the street was a construction site and a busy rail line so it was very noisy and the construction went on all night.

Hotel is quiet and conveniently close to the Metro

Hotel was a little like being at home. The kitchenette facilities allowed for a break from restaurant food all the time. There were some problems with the lights and security safe (not secured in place). Issues were brought to the attention of management. Overall my wife considered the hotel as a reprieve from travel \"like being at home\". There are two supermarkets within walking distance of the hotel with one next to the Metro station.
